The high volume of fishery waste often poses an environmental burden if not managed appropriately. Conversely, the circular economy concept offers sustainable solutions aligned with Maqasid Shariah principles in environmental preservation (Hifz al-Alam). This study aims to educate and implement the processing of fish waste into high-quality animal feed that meets halal standards (halalan thayyiban). This research employs a qualitative approach using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method. The stages include socializing the concept of Sharia circular economy, technical training on waste processing, and nutritional content testing of the feed. The findings indicate an 80% increase in community understanding regarding the economic value of waste. Technically, the fish waste processing successfully produced an alternative animal feed with high protein content, free from najis (impurity) through a purification process according to Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). This education proves that the integration of circular economy and Sharia principles not only reduces environmental impact but also creates sustainable economic added value for local communities.

Inclusive education aims to provide equal learning opportunities for all students, including those with special needs, within regular educational settings. However, mathematics learning in inclusive classrooms remains challenging because mathematical concepts are often abstract and require logical reasoning that may not be easily accessible to learners with diverse cognitive characteristics. Ethnomathematics has emerged as an alternative approach by integrating cultural practices, local wisdom, and students’ daily experiences into mathematics instruction, creating more meaningful and accessible learning environments. This study aims to analyze the development, implementation patterns, opportunities, and research gaps related to ethnomathematics in inclusive mathematics learning. A literature review method was employed by examining scientific publications from 2020–2025 obtained from Google Scholar, Scopus, ERIC, Springer, and ProQuest databases. Data were analyzed through content analysis involving reduction, classification, interpretation, and synthesis. The findings indicate that ethnomathematics has been implemented through cultural artifacts, digital teaching materials, and project-based contextual learning. The approach supports inclusive learning through multi-representational access, instructional adaptations, scaffolding strategies, and collaborative teaching practices aligned with Universal Design for Learning principles. Furthermore, ethnomathematics enhances students’ motivation, conceptual understanding, mathematical literacy, and cultural identity. Nevertheless, studies focusing on disability-specific adaptations and long-term learning outcomes remain limited and require further investigation.

The use of synthetic dyes in the textile industry has caused various environmental problems due to waste that is difficult to degrade and has the potential to contaminate water and soil. Therefore, the development of environmentally friendly natural dyes is an important alternative to be explored. One potential but underutilized source of natural dye is kirinyuh weed (Chromolaena odorata L.), which is known to contain natural pigment compounds such as tannins and flavonoids. This study aims to analyze the dyeing quality of primissima cotton fabric using kirinyuh leaf extract with variations of alum and ferrous mordants through a mordanting process. The research employed an experimental method, including hot extraction of kirinyuh leaves, dyeing of primissima cotton fabric, and mordanting using alum and ferrous salts. The evaluation of dyeing quality focused on washing color fastness and light color fastness tests based on standard textile testing methods. The results indicate that the type of mordant significantly affects the resulting color quality. Alum mordant produced relatively lighter colors with good washing fastness, while ferrous mordant resulted in darker shades with similarly good washing fastness. However, color fastness to light showed relatively lower values, particularly in fabrics treated with alum mordant. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that kirinyuh leaf extract has the potential to be used as a natural dye for primissima cotton fabric, although further optimization is required to improve color resistance to light exposure.

High-quality forage selection is a central factor in improving Bali cattle performance, particularly in smallholder systems that rely heavily on local feed resources. This study evaluated the effects of odot grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) and pakchong grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Thailand) on feed intake, average daily gain, and feed conversion ratio of male Bali cattle. The experiment was conducted for 30 days from February to March 2026 at CV. RnB Farm, Gorontalo Regency. Nine male Bali cattle with relatively homogeneous initial body weights of 150–200 kg was assigned to a completely randomized design with three treatments and three replications. The treatments were P0, field grass as the control; P1, 100% odot grass plus concentrate; and P2, 100% pakchong grass plus concentrate. Dry matter intake did not differ significantly among treatments, with values of 6.47 ± 0.19, 6.52 ± 0.19, and 6.55 ± 0.16 kg/head/day for P0, P1, and P2, respectively. In contrast, average daily gain differed significantly, with the highest value observed in P2 at 0.56 ± 0.08 kg/head/day, followed by P1 at 0.52 ± 0.09 kg/head/day and P0 at 0.45 ± 0.06 kg/head/day. Feed conversion ratio also differed significantly, with the most efficient value recorded in P2 at 11.98 ± 2.10. These findings indicate that pakchong grass combined with concentrate provides the best feed efficiency and growth performance, while odot grass remains a promising alternative forage for improving Bali cattle productivity.

This study examines the systemic transformation of Japan’s refugee and immigration policy from 2021 to 2025, exploring how humanitarian paradigms have been superseded by state security considerations. The research aims to analyze how Japan constructs refugees as an existential threat to legitimize its restrictive reception regime, synthesizing Realism and Constructivism to explore the intersection of securitization, national interest, and identity. Methodologically, this paper employs a qualitative interpretive case study by integrating Ruth Wodak’s Discourse-Historical Approach (DHA) and Interpretive Process Tracing (IPT) to examine government texts, policy documents, and parliamentary debates. The findings reveal a profound policy asymmetry driven by intersubjective threat framing and institutionalized topoi (abuse, threat, law and order). Ukrainian displaced persons are positively categorized as evacuees (hinanmin) to align with G7 geopolitics, whereas traditional asylum seekers are pejoratively labeled as "repeated applicants" and framed as threats to public order, social harmony (wa), and ethnic homogeneity (tan’itsu minzoku). This discursive construction successfully legitimizes extraordinary measures within the 2023 amendment of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (ICRRA), including the abolition of automatic deportation suspensions and the expansion of a surveillance state via alternative monitoring (kanri sochi). Ultimately, this study demonstrates that international norm compliance is deeply mediated by domestic cultural appropriateness (nihonjinron). It implies the necessity for future ethnographic research on grassroots impacts and suggests transparent asylum evaluation metrics aligned with non-refoulement principles.

Consumption of meat sausages has the potential to increase the risk of non-communicable diseases due to their high saturated fat content. The development of plant-based analog sausages can be a healthier alternative. Banggai sweet potato has potential as a local carbohydrate source, while moringa seeds contain relatively high protein. This study aimed to determine the acceptability and proximate composition of analog sausages made from Banggai sweet potato flour and moringa seed flour. This study was an experimental research using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three formulations (F1, F2, and F3). Organoleptic testing was conducted on 30 semi-trained panelists using a 5-point hedonic scale including color, aroma, taste, and texture. Data were analyzed using Shapiro–Wilk, Kruskal–Wallis, and Mann–Whitney tests. Proximate analysis was performed on the selected formulation. The results showed significant differences in all acceptability parameters (p < 0.05). Formulation F3 was the best formulation based on panelists’ preference level. Proximate analysis of formulation F3 per 100 grams showed moisture content of 7.54%, ash content of 1.61%, protein 7.67%, fat 11.28%, and carbohydrate 21.02%. Formulation F3 had the highest acceptance level and nutritional content with potential as a plant-based protein food alternative. Further studies are needed including mineral analysis, shelf-life testing, microbiological analysis, and industrial-scale development to improve product quality.

High feed costs remain a major constraint in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) aquaculture, requiring alternative feed formulations based on local ingredients with adequate nutritional quality. This study aimed to evaluate the proximate composition of fish feed formulated from snail meal, Azolla meal, and turmeric as a phytobiotic supplement. The study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design consisting of three treatments and three replications. The feed formulations were P1, consisting of 55% snail meal, 25% Azolla meal, 5% turmeric, 10% corn flour, and 5% tapioca flour; P2, consisting of 39% snail meal, 39% Azolla meal, 7% turmeric, 10% corn flour, and 5% tapioca flour; and P3, consisting of 25% snail meal, 51% Azolla meal, 9% turmeric, 10% corn flour, and 5% tapioca flour. The analyzed parameters included protein, moisture, fat, ash, crude fiber, and carbohydrate contents. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by the Least Significant Difference test. The results showed that feed formulation significantly affected all proximate parameters. P3 produced the highest protein content of 43.87%, fat content of 3.68%, crude fiber of 3.11%, and carbohydrate content of 7.28%, while also producing the lowest ash content of 28.46%. Moisture content ranged from 1.11% to 1.30%, indicating good feed storage stability. These findings demonstrate that the integration of snail meal, Azolla, and turmeric can improve the nutritional quality of alternative Nile tilapia feed and support locally based sustainable aquaculture feed development.

Indonesia is recognized as a country with abundant mineral resources; however, the expansion of the mining sector has generated multidimensional moral inequality, encompassing an imbalance in economic benefit distribution between corporations and local communities, disregard for the intrinsic value of nature, and the marginalization of affected communities from decision-making. The dominance of the anthropocentric paradigm, which places humans as the center of value, is the root cause of this problem. This study aims to analyze moral inequality in Indonesia's mining practices, examine the anthropocentric paradigm in natural resource management, and formulate biocentric ethics as a just alternative. A qualitative approach with library research method was employed, collecting data from national scientific journals, official government reports, and environmental ethics literature, analyzed descriptively-critically through content analysis technique. Findings reveal three interrelated dimensions of moral inequality: inequality in benefit and burden distribution, inequality in recognizing the intrinsic value of nature, and inequality in participatory decision-making. A reconstruction of biocentric ethics grounded in the principles of non-maleficence, noninterference, fidelity, and restitutive justice offers a comprehensive value framework to address ecological moral deficits. This study concludes that a paradigmatic transformation from anthropocentrism to biocentrism, through Free Prior and Informed Consent implementation, the polluter pays principle, and care ethics-based governance, is a fundamental step toward ethical and sustainable mining practices.

The increasing demand for electrical energy in military education facilities necessitates an efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy solution. This research aims to design a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system to meet the street lighting needs in the Wangi-Wangi Complex of the Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL). The research method used is quantitative descriptive with an engineering design approach thru the stages of site survey, collection of solar energy potential data in the Surabaya area, calculation of electricity energy needs, calculation of solar panel capacity, calculation of battery capacity, and design of battery connection configuration. The research results show that the energy requirement for street lighting is 1,920 Wh/day, sourced from 8 units of 20 Watt LED lamps with an operating time of 12 hours per day. Based on the average solar radiation potential in Surabaya of 5 kWh/m²/day, the designed system requires 3 units of 200 Wp monocrystalline solar panels with a total area of approximately 4.89 m². For energy storage, 4 units of Yuasa N200 12 V 200 Ah batteries are used, configured in a series-parallel arrangement, capable of providing an effective energy of around 3,600 Wh with an estimated operating time of 22.5 hours. The research results indicate that the proposed solar power plant design is feasible to implement as an environmentally friendly, efficient alternative energy source that supports the green defense concept in the AAL environment.

The management of Uninhabitable Houses (Rumah Tidak Layak Huni/RTLH) in Sikka Regency faces a critical challenge due to the high number of inadequate housing units distributed across both urban and rural areas with complex geographical characteristics. The primary obstacle to effective policy implementation stems from the limited capacity of local government interventions in improving housing quality on a sustainable basis, which is largely caused by poor-quality housing data and the absence of an integrated single-data information system. This policy paper aims to formulate an acceleration strategy for addressing RTLH through the reform of data governance that is accurate, efficient, and accountable. Using Eugene Bardach’s (2012) policy analysis framework to evaluate alternative solutions based on technical feasibility, economic viability, political acceptability, and administrative operability, this study identifies the transformation of intervention mechanisms based on the National Integrated Socio-Economic Data (Data Tunggal Sosial Ekonomi Nasional/DTSEN) as the most appropriate policy option. To ensure long-term sustainability, the paper recommends a Phased Convergence Strategy, whereby data cleansing and matching processes based on DTSEN are implemented at the upstream level and subsequently integrated into the “One Data RTLH Sikka” digital platform in the medium term. This operational strategy is further strengthened through the enactment of a Regent Regulation (Peraturan Bupati) on Data Governance and the Mechanism for Determining Eligible Beneficiaries of Decent Housing Assistance, providing a legally binding framework for policy implementation. By positioning village and urban ward governments as the frontline actors in conducting by-name-by-address (BNBA) field verification, the policy minimizes the risks of inclusion and exclusion errors, eliminates budget overlaps, and optimizes local innovative programs such as the TERKASIH House Assistance Scheme (Terima Kunci Siap Huni – “Receiving the Key to a Ready-to-Occupy House”). The implementation of these recommendations is expected to promote data-driven governance that accelerates the reduction of extreme poverty and enhances the effectiveness of housing assistance programs in Sikka Regency.

Health issues among the elderly are often related to declining bodily functions, digestive disorders, and specific nutritional needs for easily digestible foods. The 60-and-older age group is at high risk for gastrointestinal disorders due to low fiber intake. Therefore, alternative foods are needed that are soft in texture, neutral in taste, safe, and nutritious. One potential solution is the development of food products based on tempeh gembus with the addition of banana hearts, which are rich in fiber, soft in texture, and readily available. This study employed an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) to test three formulation variations (F1, F2, F3). The nutritional content of formulation F1 includes energy 111.575 kcal, carbohydrates 20.185 g, protein 6.91 g, fat 0.355 g, and fiber 6.67 g. Formula F2 contains 88.225 kcal of energy, 14.095 g of carbohydrates, 7.72 g of protein, 0.205 g of fat, 7.3 g of fiber, and 0.0015% flavonoids. Formula F3 has 107.015 kcal of energy, 7.995 g of protein, 0.295 g of fat, 6.88 g of fiber, and 0.0021% flavonoids. In conclusion, the best tempeh with added banana hearts is Formula F2, with its nutritional content, fiber, flavonoids, and BAL >10⁸ CFU/g, which has the potential to serve as a functional food and probiotic source to help improve digestive health in the elderly.
