This study aims to determine the significant effect of self confidence on students' critical thinking skills. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a significant effect of self-confidence on the ability to think critically mathematically.This type of research is correlational. The population in this study were all VIII grade students as many as 6 classes totaling 188 students. The research sample was taken randomly 30 students. The data in this study are in the form of self confidence questionnaire and mathematical critical thinking skills questions. The data analysis technique uses correlation analysis. The results of this study obtained t_0 = 3.391 and t_table = 1.70 at the real level α = 0.05. This shows that t_0> t_table which means H_(0) is rejected or H_1 is accepted which states that there is a significant effect of self confidence on the critical thinking skills of class VIII students. The effect of self-confidence on mathematical critical thinking ability is a moderate relationship with r_(Xy) = 0.54 and obtained a coefficient of determination of 29.16%

The purpose of writing this article is to provide instruction to teachers about the importance of learning media in the learning process, especially for class V mathematics teachers at the Maura El Mumtaz Education Foundation. Learning media is a tool that can help teachers to convey learning material so that students have an interest and interest in the learning material presented. To increase the learning interest of class V students at the Maura El Mumtaz Education Foundation, teachers make learning more active, with media learning. The learning media created are spatial nets. The spatial net learning media is a learning medium that uses cardboard/Manila paper which is cut to form a spatial net pattern. It is hoped that this learning media can be a means of increasing students' interest in learning and building active learning and non-monotonous learning in class. It is hoped that after this socialization is carried out teachers can be more active in creating other learning media.

Problem-solving is so important that it makes mathematics teaching a common goal. It is estimated that students who are capable of solving these problems can contribute to the economic growth of their country. Therefore, researchers are interested in analyzing students' ability to solve mathematical problems. Data is taken using the essay test instrument and analyzed using a descriptive quantitative approach. The subject of this study is a student of class XI SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh of 29 people. This research found that students' abilities in composition functions material were well assessed. However, in the problem-solving capabilities measured based on problem-solving indicators, there is still an obstacle to the first indicator, which is to display what is known and what is asked. But for the other three indicators, there are only a few obstacles even no obstacles at all. It is hoped that the obstacles experienced by students in this research can also be the background for further research.

Following the journey of mathematics at the elementary school level, students often hear complaints when they have to explore concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In such a dilemma, the need for innovation becomes even more pressing, as a way to carve out a vibrant next generation. The author sees that in learning mathematics, grade 3 students at SD Negeri 4 Citeureup lack enthusiasm for mathematics because this subject is often considered difficult. Overall, the process of implementing community service with a focus on education uses the jarimatics method to increase enthusiasm or motivation in studying mathematics for Citeureup 4 public elementary school students. The results of community service activities include the following: (a) achievement of the target number of participants. (b) the accuracy and skill of students working on multiplication problems. (c) achievement of activity objectives. After a series of training activities were carried out, finally we provided feedback questions from students. Do they feel happy and more motivated in learning mathematics? They all agree that they are happy and feel more motivated. To increase students' interest and motivation in learning mathematics, teachers should use good and effective methods to move and motivate students to be active in learning mathematics.

An introduction to algorithms begins with a basic understanding of the algorithm itself. An algorithm is an organized sequence of steps to solve a problem, taking into account systematic sequence and logical goals. Meanwhile, a programming algorithm is a set of instructions that a computer is asked to execute to solve a problem. Good mastery of programming algorithms is absolutely necessary for people who want to study computer science or mathematics. Therefore, this article aims to help readers who want to learn the importance of programming algorithms through basic concepts. This paper uses a literature review method from various types of existing sources to discuss history, function and properties, algorithm structure, notationincluding natural, pseudocode and flowcharts.

The goal to be achieved is to find out the use of spin wheel learning media on heroism material on class learning outcomes. This research is class action research (action research). This research was conducted in the form of cycles, each cycle consisting of several components, namely the stages of preparation, planning, implementation of action, observation and monitoring, reflection, evaluation and revision and conclusion of the results. The data validation process is carried out by asking for an assessment of experts and practitioners regarding the content and outline of the written test which is used as a data collection tool, so that the tool is used to measure student abilities. The use of the spin wheel learning model is proven to improve student learning outcomes. The learning process on the subject matter of heroism from the aspects of teachers and students can be achieved because from cycle to cycle there is reflection and improvement through good collaboration between researchers and observers. This result can be achieved because of this cooperation in designing, implementing, observing, and reflecting on cycles for two cycles. Improving mathematics learning outcomes through the spin wheel learning model in heroism material can be achieved.

Educational learning achievement is needed to determine the success rate of student learning. Student learning interest has a significant influence on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between learning activeness and interest in learning mathematics on mathematics learning achievement. The method used in this study is a survey method with multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the variables of activeness and interest in learning obtained from questionnaires or questionnaires with a total of 18 statements with 26 respondents showing the results of the prerequisite analysis test or assumption test and the results of hypothesis testing. The results of this study are based on a multiple linear regression test of 0.627 or equal to 62.7%. This figure means that the activeness and interest in learning simultaneously (together) affect the mathematics achievement of elementary school students by 62.7%.

Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between learning independence and students' mathematics learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with a correlational design. In this study, researchers used a questionnaire instrument to find out the results of independent learning and the results of daily mathematics tests to find out the results of students' mathematics learning. From the data that has been collected, a correlation test is carried out with the conditions that are the normality test and the linearity test. The results of the analysis of the correlation coefficient between the independent learning variables and student mathematics learning outcomes is 0.948**. Based on the results of the correlation test using SPSS above, the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant correlation between students' learning independence and their mathematics learning outcomes is acceptable. The test results on the normality test using SPSS show that the data is normally distributed. This is indicated by the value of Sig. namely 0.282 and 0.486 where the significance is > 0.05. Based on the results of this study, the higher the student's learning independence, the higher the student's mathematics learning outcomes. And vice versa, when the student's learning independence is low, the lower the student's learning outcomes in mathematics.

The problem that occurs in this study is the low learning outcomes caused by a lack of teachers in using models and media in learning. Alternatives to solving these problems are using the Problem Based Learning model, Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education, and Number Head Together. The research objective is to describe the activities of educators, students, and to analyze learning outcomes. The approach used in this discovery is a qualitative approach with the type of PTK, which is carried out in 2 cycles consisting of three meetings. The subjects of this study were 18 grade VI students at SDN Kelayan Selatan 10. Qualitative data obtained through observing the activities of educators and students. While quantitative data through measurement techniques with individual written tests. Data analysis in this finding uses descriptive analysis techniques and cross-tabulations translated into tables, graphs and interpretations with percentages. The results of these findings show that educator activities get a score of 24 in the "very good" category. experienced an increase from a score of 30 to 36 in the "Very Good" category. Classical student activities reached 100% in the "very active" category. As well as student learning outcomes have achieved 100% completeness classically and individually. Based on these findings it can be concluded that using the PBL, PMRI, and NHT models can increase learning activities and outcomes.

The purpose of this service is to describe initiatives that can be done to increase students' interest in learning mathematics, especially in the material of natural number calculation operations. The solution offered in this activity is assistance in learning the concept of natural number counting operations using natural number calculation operation board props. Participants in this service activity involved 28 students of grade III MI Miftahul Islam. The stages of this activity consist of three stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The conclusion obtained from this service activity is that assistance in learning the concept of natural number counting operations using natural number calculation operation board props is said to have succeeded in increasing students' interest in learning mathematics. This is evidenced by the increase in the percentage of students who achieve scores above KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) after mentoring, from 30% to 85%.

Particularly in the context of the technological industrial revolution, information technology is developing more quickly. We cannot prevent technological development in this life because it will inevitably follow scientific advancements in science. Educational technology has the power to transform traditional teaching methods into innovative ones. Even though the term "educational technology" has a very broad definition, it is frequently assumed to refer only to electronics or other technical tools. For this reason, we will talk more about educational technology in this article, particularly as it relates to its development in the context of science's rapid advancement. as well as society culture and technology Programming breakthroughs have virtually eliminated the need for manual implementation Our work and interests these days often stress our proficiency with computers. Logical thinking is crucial to the development of this revolution in order to comprehend its components, particularly the interconnectedness of computer programming algorithms and mathematics. In order to ascertain the actualization of this programming procedure, the literature analysis method was employed in the composition of this work. The sources for this article's collection included books and a number of earlier publications, the titles of which were created using bibliometric techniques. Thus, it is believed that the development of technological knowledge can proceed without hiccups with the involvement of algorithmic programming so that students can enhance the caliber of the amalgamation of technological information in the industrial revolution.

Education plays a central role in community development and the enhancement of human resources. In the rapidly evolving digital era, information and communication technology has significantly transformed the education landscape. Technology has become an integral part of the teaching and learning process in schools, bringing both challenges and significant opportunities. Particularly at the Junior High School (SMP) level, subjects like Mathematics, Natural Sciences (IPA), Physics, and Chemistry play a central role in shaping students' foundational knowledge. However, students often have varying levels of understanding and different learning styles. This poses a challenge for teachers trying to meet the diverse learning needs of their students. The use of the same linear teaching methods for all students is often ineffective in such a context. In this research, we employed a literature review methodology. This approach helps summarize and synthesize existing knowledge on the role of technology in enhancing student motivation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. By analyzing trends, findings, and patterns emerging from related literature, we can establish a strong knowledge base for this research. The adaptive learning approach, leveraging technology, has emerged as an intriguing solution. This approach allows for real-time analysis of student learning data and the adjustment of content, material, or teaching methods to suit individual needs. The research highlights the primary benefits of adaptive learning, such as personalized content adjustment, enhanced student motivation, more efficient monitoring and evaluation, and time savings in achieving better understanding. However, the research also acknowledges several challenges, including uneven technology infrastructure, the need for teacher training, and student data protection. Nevertheless, this research emphasizes the importance of adaptive learning in the context of STEM education at the SMP level in the digital era, while recognizing the need for further research to explore the potential of technology in enhancing the quality of education at this level.

The aim of this research is to describe what factors cause students' anxiety about learning Mathematics. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were class X students majoring in Culinary and Office Management at Tunas Pembangunan Vocational School, South Jakarta. Research data was collected using questionnaires and interviews. The results of the research show that the anxiety of studying Mathematics experienced by class and anxious. Factors that cause moderate level anxiety are that learning Mathematics is too monotonous so that students quickly feel bored and causes students to feel afraid if their Mathematics grades do not match expectations. Meanwhile, the factors that cause low levels of anxiety are not feeling afraid when studying Mathematics and considering Mathematics as a fun subject so that students like Mathematics.

The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type cooperative learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes in class VII algebra form material at UPTD SMP Negeri12 Pematang Siantar. The approach taken in this study is a quantitative approach. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires (questionnaires) and learning outcome tests. Data analysis techniques use prerequisite tests, namely normality tests and linearity tests. To test whether Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type cooperative learning models affect learning outcomes, a simple linear regression test was used. From the simple linear regression test performed, the regression equation Y = 8.804 + 0175.X which can be interpreted as every addition of 1% of the questionnaire value will cause an increase in learning outcome test scores of 0.175. It can be seen that the value of the regression coefficient is greater than 0 (positive value), so there is a positive influence between variable 50,8%.

The importance of character education in learning is to improve the quality of implementation and educational outcomes in schools which leads to the achievement of student character formation. In this case, the teacher is not only tasked with delivering learning material, but is also tasked with instilling character values in students (Fatmawati, 2017: 8). This type of research is qualitative research and the method used is a descriptive method. Sugiyono (2017:9) qualitative research is a research method used to examine natural objects. The main aim of qualitative research is to understand social phenomena or symptoms by providing an explanation in the form of a clear description of the social phenomenon or symptom in the form of a series of words which will ultimately produce a theory, which is explained (Sujardewi, 2014: 110). Based on the description that has been presented, this research is defined as a research process that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and behavior that is observed and carried out naturally. This research uses a qualitative research method with the hope of being able to describe the analysis of character education in mathematics learning material on absolute values for students at SMA class X Harapan Bangsa Samalantan. absolutely at SMA Harapan Bangsa Samalantan class X. In chapter IV, the results of the research that has been carried out and the discussion are presented. Therefore, (1) Results, (2) Discussion are successively put forward.1. Analysis of character education in mathematics learning with absolute value material in class X has been carried out by the teacher through planning, implementation and evaluation carried out by the teacher. Mathematics teachers in planning mathematics learning material have absolute values for the character values listed in the RPP, namely the character values of discipline, honesty, responsibility and skills. In implementing learning, mathematics teachers also apply character education through methods, strategies and learning media. Analysis of character education in mathematics learning with absolute value material is based on lesson plans that have been created and adapted to learning conditions. The teacher's learning implementation uses the case study method, so that students always think critically in their efforts to solve problem formulation in mathematics learning with absolute value material. Assessment of the achievement of character education in mathematics learning absolute value material in class X using test questions and observation sheets of student behavior in learning.

The branch of mathematics that studies history is usually known as ethnomathematics, and the concept of ethnomathematics has made a major contribution to improving mathematics learning. It turns out that many cultures cannot be separated from mathematical calculations, including historical buildings that are simple but have many meanings and meanings. So this research was conducted to describe and identify mathematical concepts in Betawi Warehouses in the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The results of the research show that there is a mathematical concept in the Gudang Betawi house building in the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village, namely the shape of the Gudang Betawi house which has a rectangular pattern from front to back, there are many philosophies in ornaments that have sizes and shapes, and there are geometric elements found in the building. Betawi Warehouse Houses are like whole numbers in measuring activities, equivalent comparisons in calculating the length of time to build a Warehouse House, there are corners in the building, there are flat geometric elements found in the length, area and perimeter of the building, there is also space geometry which has content and volume , there is a geometric transformation in the ornamental part of the Gudang Betawi house, and there is a congruence of flat shapes that can be seen on the door of the Gudang Betawi house.

The aim of this research is to develop learning media using  that are valid, practical, and effective to improve students' ability to understand flat Derivative topics. The study was carried out at SMA NEGERI 10 MEDAN. The subjects of this research were students of class XI IPA-1. This research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE Model. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire assessment sheet for material experts, teaching material experts, learning practitioners and student responses. The results showed that learning media using Android Studio obtained an average percentage of 91.8% with the criteria of "very valid" according to the assessment of teaching materials experts and based on media material experts obtained an average percentage of 86.5% with the criteria " very valid". Based on the practice of learning carried out by the mathematics teacher getting 91,8% with the "very practical" criteria. Based on the effectiveness assessment of the 35 students, they got an average percentage of 86.5% with the criteria of "very effective". Thus, based on the results of the assessment of material experts, teaching materials experts, learning practitioners, and student effectiveness it can be said that learning media using Android Studiohave been tested as valid, practical and effective for use in learning.

This research aims to: (1) improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities by applying the problem based learning model assisted by the Geogebra application in mathematics learning for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Sunggal; (2) describe the process of completing student answers related to students' mathematical reasoning by applying the problem based learning model assisted by the Geogebra application. This research is Class Action Research. The subjects in this research were 28 students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Sunggal. The results of the research show that: (1) students' mathematical reasoning can improve after learning by applying the problem based learning model assisted by the Geogebra application where the average student score in the cycle I reasoning ability test was 65.85, increasing to 85.39 in cycle II and classical completeness in the reasoning ability test in cycle I was 16 students (57.14%) increasing to 26 students (87.88%) in cycle II; (2) the process of students' answers in completing the mathematical reasoning ability test is in the good category, this can be seen from the students' answers which have been able to meet the indicators of mathematical reasoning ability. So it is concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by the Geogebra application can improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities.
