Gestational surrogacy is a form of surrogacy in which a woman carries and gives birth to a child without any genetic relationship to the baby. In this process, the egg from the biological mother and the sperm from the biological father are combined through in vitro fertilization (IVF), and the resulting embryo is implanted into the surrogate mother's womb. After giving birth, the surrogate mother hands the baby over to the couple or individual who arranged the surrogacy, in exchange for financial compensation for her service. Although gestational surrogacy offers several benefits, this practice raises numerous questions from an Islamic perspective, such as its legality, the lineage of the child born, and the social and ethical impact it has on the Muslim community. This paper focuses on analyzing Islamic views on gestational surrogacy and the accompanying implications of Sharia law. The article employs a qualitative method with discussions covering the definition of surrogacy from an Islamic perspective, Sharia legal analysis of surrogacy practices, as well as the social and ethical impact that arises in the Muslim community.

Land and Building Tax (PBB) is one of the revenues for local governments which is very important for funding infrastructure development, health services, education and other public services. PBB has a very significant role in community compliance and awareness in paying PBB in various regions is still said to be low. This is usually caused by several factors such as a lack of socialization, minimal transparency in the use of PBB funds, and low public awareness of the use of PBB payments, which is the main cause of low taxpayer compliance. The aim of this research is to identify strategies to be implemented to increase public awareness and compliance in paying PBB. This research uses a qualitative approach using observation and documentation methods. This research shows that the results show that by having regular outreach campaigns or outreach, utilizing information technology in the payment process, as well as developing a compensation and public quality improvement system funded by PPB, it will be an effective step to increase public compliance in paying taxes. Apart from that, involving several community leaders and non-governmental organizations in tax awareness outreach or education is also able to strengthen community responsibility and participation in regional development. By implementing existing strategies, it is hoped that we will be able to overcome problems such as low awareness and low community compliance in PBB payments, which will then be able to support the sustainability of the ability to achieve goals in implementing regional development programs

Customer segmentation plays a pivotal role in driving marketing strategies and improving customer retention across various industries. This study explores the application of the RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) model for customer segmentation in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business, using Python for efficient data processing and analysis. By analyzing one year of customer purchase data, we segmented customers into key groups such as "Champions," "Loyal Customers," and "At Risk." The results highlight that targeted discount strategies significantly affect profitability, especially for high-value customer segments. Furthermore, the research builds upon existing methodologies, demonstrating how Python-based implementations streamline RFM analysis and allow for scalable solutions in business contexts, as illustrated in prior works by Hermawan et al. (2024). This study offers actionable recommendations, including tailored discounting, loyalty programs, and personalized engagement strategies, to enhance customer retention and business profitability. The findings underscore the importance of data-driven marketing approaches for customer segmentation and engagement, reinforcing the relevance of the RFM model in modern business environments.

This study discusses the application of translation methods and strategies in the subtitles of the film Ar Risalah from Arabic to Indonesian. The film Ar Risalah is a religious film that tells the story of the life of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, which has strong historical and cultural values. This study aims to identify the methods and strategies used in translating dialogue sentences in the film's subtitles. Using a qualitative descriptive research method, data were collected through direct observation of the film's dialogue. The researcher classified the translation methods based on Newmark's theory and translation strategies from Pamungkas and Akmaliyah. The results of the study showed that there were seven translation methods used, namely word-for-word, literal, faithful, semantic, adaptation, free, and idiomatic translation. In addition, there were four translation strategies, namely prioritizing and ending, reducing, adding, and replacing. These findings indicate that translators must consider lexical, contextual, and cultural aspects in producing translations that are communicative and in accordance with the target language. This study provides in-depth insight into the complexity of the film translation process, which is expected to be a reference for subtitle translators in the future.
