This study aims to enhance the social skills and learning interest of fourth-grade students through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Model of the Jigsaw Type in the subject of Catholic Religious Education at Santo Daniel Elementary School in Batu Mbelin. Based on the classroom action research approach, this study was conducted in two cycles involving 13 students as the main subjects. The first cycle involved planning, action, observation, and reflection, followed by evaluation and improvement for the second cycle. The results of the first cycle indicated that the average percentage of students' social skills and learning interest had not yet reached the established success standards. However, after implementing improvements in the second cycle, the results showed a significant increase in students' social skills and learning interest. The average percentage of social skills reached 92.1%, while learning interest reached 94.0%, both categorized as "Very Good." The implications of this study are that the cooperative learning model of the jigsaw type can effectively enhance students' social skills and learning interest, providing a positive contribution to curriculum development and learning strategies at the elementary school level.

Student learning engagement plays a crucial role in character development, especially at the elementary school level. To foster a positive learning environment and encourage active participation, active learning approaches based on games are considered effective. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the active learning model using word-building games and the learning engagement of third-grade students at SDN 3 Jepang, Kudus Regency. The research was motivated by the low level of student participation, which is still dominated by conventional teaching methods. A correlational quantitative approach was used, with a population consisting of all 20 third-grade students, who were also taken as the sample through total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire to measure learning engagement and observation of the implementation of the word-building game model. The Shapiro-Wilk test was used for normality testing, and since one of the variables was not normally distributed, the data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed a correlation coefficient of r = -0.097 with a significance value of 0.686 (> 0.05), indicating no significant relationship between the word-building game model and student engagement. Other factors such as individual learning styles or classroom atmosphere may influence student engagement. Nonetheless, this model still holds potential and should be further developed to align with elementary students' characteristics.

The selection of learning media and resources is an important aspect of the learning process. Learning media helps to convey material in a more engaging and effective way, while learning resources include a variety of references that support learning activities, such as human, print, visual, and audio-visual materials. The selection of media must be adjusted to the learning objectives, student characteristics, and availability of facilities. Learning resources, on the other hand, must meet the criteria of economy, practical, easy to obtain, flexible, and can motivate and support the learning process. By choosing the right learning media and resources, learning becomes more effective, engaging, and relevant for students. The method used by the researcher is qualitative research. And the data obtained were analyzed using the literature study method.

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in Social Sciences (IPS) through the implementation of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning model. The background of this study is based on the low learning outcomes of IPS in class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Jakarta, as well as the lack of variations in innovative learning models. The study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method of the Kemmis and McTaggart model which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 36 class VII-B students. Data collection techniques used learning outcome tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the percentage of students who achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) was 77.77%, increasing to 91.6% in the second cycle. In addition, student activity in learning activities also increased. These results prove that the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning model is able to integrate social studies concepts with real situations, thus facilitating students' understanding and improving the quality of learning.

This study aims to describe the strategies implemented by Rumah Belajar Merah Putih in addressing the educational needs of children of commercial sex workers who are not enrolled in formal schooling. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that Rumah Belajar Merah Putih faces several challenges, including limited facilities and infrastructure, insufficient funding, low public awareness of the importance of education, a shortage of qualified teaching staff, and difficulties in establishing external partnerships. To overcome these obstacles, the organization has developed strategies encompassing four key aspects: (1) Corporate strategy, which emphasizes the formulation of a vision, mission, and goals in response to the community’s lack of attention to education; (2) Program strategy, designed based on the background of the learners to raise awareness of the importance of education; (3) Resource support strategy, aimed at addressing the limitations in teaching staff, funding, and facilities; and (4) Institutional strategy, focused on strengthening internal communication and expanding external partnerships to tackle collaboration challenges. These four strategies have proven effective in addressing the identified challenges and serve as a crucial foundation for providing inclusive education for children of commercial sex workers, although continuous improvement and reinforcement are still needed.

This research aims to analyze the impact of family socio-economic conditions on the interest in learning of preschool children (ages 3-6) at KB Darussalam Sidoarjo. Interest in learning at an early age is an important foundation for children's cognitive and socio-emotional development in the future. However, this interest does not exist in isolation but is greatly influenced by the child's immediate environment, namely the family and its socio-economic conditions. Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs theory is used as a conceptual framework to understand how the fulfillment of children's basic needs, which is often related to socio-economic conditions, affects their motivation and interest in learning. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, focusing on KB Darussalam Sidoarjo. Data is collected through in-depth interviews with parents/guardians and teachers, as well as participatory observation of children in the learning environment. The research results show that the socio-economic conditions of families have a significant and multifaceted impact on the learning interest of preschool children. Economic limitations can hinder the fulfillment of children's physiological needs and their sense of safety, which directly reduces their energy and focus on learning. In addition, socio-economic conditions affect the quality of parent-child interactions and the availability of learning stimulation at home, which are crucial to fostering a sense of love, belonging, and appreciation in children. An environment that inadequately supports basic needs tends to result in lower levels of interest in learning.

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how social media use affects grade IX students' academic performance at SMP Negeri 2 Batang Peranap.  Out of 90 pupils, 27 respondents participated in this quantitative study that took a correlational approach.  A 4-point Likert scale (Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree) was used in the questionnaire to examine the dependent variable (academic accomplishment) and the independent variable (social media use). A straightforward linear regression analysis revealed a strong inverse relationship between students' assessments of their academic performance and the amount of time they spend on social media.  Therefore, students tend to perform worse academically the more they use social media.  In order to increase productivity and facilitate learning activities, it is recommended that parents and teachers supervise and guide their children's use of social media.
