Community service represents a tangible contribution of higher education institutions in improving the quality of learning at the elementary level. This service activity was carried out collaboratively by lecturers and students at MI Miftahul Huda 2 Palangka Raya with the aim of enhancing the quality of IPAS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial) learning through the development of interactive teaching materials based on Canva. The program applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which emphasizes the empowerment of existing assets within the school community. The implementation involved mentoring sessions, technical guidance, and direct classroom application of the developed materials. Effectiveness was evaluated through pretests and posttests, showing an increase in students' understanding from an average pretest score of 55.19 to a posttest score of 77.04, with an average N-Gain of 0.47 (moderate category). Validation results from subject matter experts (96%), design experts (97%), and classroom teachers (89%) confirmed that the developed media were appropriate in terms of content, visual quality, and language use. In addition to improving learning outcomes, the use of technology-based teaching media also increased student motivation and teacher engagement during the learning process. The outcomes of this program not only provided direct benefits to the partner school but also demonstrated the potential for broader application as a participatory and sustainable model for digital innovation in basic education.

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is a food safety management system designed to identify, analyze, and control physical, chemical, and biological hazards throughout the food production process. In the context of Small, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia, HACCP implementation is essential to ensure food safety, improve product quality, and enhance access to modern and export markets. This study is a literature review that analyzes 14 scientific articles published between 2000 and 2025, sourced from Scholar and Sinta databases. The analysis focused on abstract keywords to identify key concepts, findings, and research gaps regarding HACCP implementation in SMEs food businesses. The review findings indicate that HACCP offers positive impacts such as improved production efficiency, extended shelf life, and reduced contamination risks. The establishment of Critical Control Points (CCPs) in stages like grinding, packaging, and storage has proven effective in preventing potential hazards. However, several challenges hinder effective implementation, particularly in SMEs. Common obstacles include limited human resources, lack of technical knowledge, inadequate basic sanitation infrastructure, and weak documentation and monitoring systems. Several studies also emphasize that successful HACCP implementation relies heavily on intensive mentoring and strong support from government bodies, academia, and business partners. Therefore, a collaborative and strategic approach is essential to optimize HACCP implementation within the SMEs sector, contributing to an inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable national food safety system.

Article 1 point 5 of Law Number 6 of 2014 defines a village as a legal community unit with the right to its origin. In its implementation, the village government may facilitate the establishment of traditional village institutions (LAD), which function to preserve customs and serve as partners in village governance. Todo Village in Manggarai Regency continues to uphold its traditional values through a functioning customary institution that plays a role as a stakeholder. However, modernization often creates tension between traditional values and modern societal demands. This research is a normative legal study supported by empirical data. The data were analyzed using a juridical-descriptive qualitative method, obtained through field research and other sources. The findings show that the traditional institution in Todo Village has adopted a more modern and administrative structure without losing its core functions in preserving local customs. It maintains a constructive partnership with the village government while each operates independently. Strengthening efforts include providing infrastructure, allocating village funds for traditional house maintenance, and establishing customary organizations to support development. However, challenges remain, especially due to the lack of specific regulations and the fact that Todo has not yet been officially designated as a customary village.

This research investigates the factors contributing to low understanding of environmental degradation among sixth-grade students at SDN 12 Padang Koto Gadang. The study aims to identify internal and external factors affecting students' comprehension of environmental issues within the IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) curriculum. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with the class teacher, classroom observations, and document analysis of lesson plans and student assessment records. The findings reveal that internal factors include low learning motivation, where students perceive environmental materials as mere memorization tasks, and a significant mismatch between students' kinesthetic-visual learning styles (78%) and the predominantly auditory-lecture teaching methods. External factors encompass conventional teaching approaches dominating 85% of classroom time, limited technological infrastructure, and insufficient interactive learning resources. A paradoxical finding shows that while 70% of students claim environmental concern, only 23% consistently practice eco-friendly behaviors, indicating a substantial gap between cognitive knowledge and behavioral application. The study recommends implementing a hybrid learning model combining Problem-Based Learning with local contexts, utilizing simple nature-based media, and establishing strategic community partnerships. These findings contribute to developing more adaptive and contextual teaching methods aligned with Merdeka Curriculum principles for elementary environmental education.

Since the era of COVID-19 until now, maintaining personal hygiene has become a shared obligation globally. In Indonesia, soap is an essential item for both personal hygiene and environmental hygiene. Due to the great public interest in soap, especially facial soap, there are now more choices for businesses to make soap for the local market. Empowering the surrounding community, especially the PKK women's organization, to make facial soap can be done independently or in groups because the method of manufacture is quite simple. The general public's knowledge of the components and methods of making facial soap is still very minimal. This community service activity aims to teach PKK women’s how to make face soap and give them insight into home-based business options. PKK women in Cikageman Village, Setu, Bekasi Regency became a group of activity partners. This activity is expected to be able to improve people's welfare, especially in the economic sector, as well as increase knowledge and independence in entrepreneurship. This community service activity uses a strategy that includes partner coordination, counseling, assistance in making face soap, evaluation, and follow-up. This study aims to reconstruct the narrative of the establishment and struggle of the Aliansi Dosen ASN Kemdiktisaintek Seluruh Indonesia (ADAKSI), a collective movement advocating for the welfare of civil servant lecturers (ASN), particularly concerning the delayed disbursement of performance allowances (tukin). Using a narrative inquiry approach, this research traces digital records and real-world actions taken by ASN lecturers across Indonesia, including a symbolic flower board protest in January 2025, an audience with the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, and the organization of the first National Congress (MUNAS I ADAKSI) in May 2025. These narratives are analyzed as expressions of shared grievances, solidarity, and the formation of a collective identity among ASN lecturers who have long lacked institutional representation through official bodies like KORPRI. The findings reveal that ADAKSI functions not only as an advocacy platform for welfare but also as a socio-professional movement driven by intellectual ethics in demanding structural justice. Its actions, demands, and outcomes from MUNAS I mark a significant transition from fragmented protests to an organized national consolidation. The study recommends that policymakers create more inclusive spaces for dialogue with ASN lecturers and formally recognize independent professional organizations as strategic partners in the reform of Indonesia’s higher education system.

Mahr in Islamic marriage plays a significant role as a symbol of commitment, respect, and protection of women's rights. This study aims to analyze the urgency of mahr in Islamic marriage, from the perspectives of Islamic law, the responsibilities of men, and the protection of women. Using a literature review approach, this research explores relevant literature on mahr in the context of Islamic law, hadith, and the views of scholars regarding the meaning and purpose of mahr. The results show that mahr is not only a financial obligation but also a deep form of respect and commitment between partners. However, in contemporary social practices, there are deviations in the understanding of mahr, which is often viewed as a status symbol or materialistic transaction. This study concludes that to maintain the values of Islam in marriage, the understanding of mahr must return to the essence taught by Islam, which is as a form of responsibility, simplicity, and respect for women.
