This qualitative literature review examines auditor adaptability in the digital age by synthesizing prior research on the interplay between professional expertise, IT literacy, and dynamic capabilities. Drawing on multidisciplinary studies in auditing, accounting information systems, and organizational theory, the review explores how digital technologies—such as data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automated audit tools—reshape auditors’ roles and competence requirements. The findings indicate that traditional audit expertise remains essential but is increasingly complemented by IT literacy, which enables auditors to effectively interpret technology-enabled evidence and reduce uncertainty in digital audit environments. Moreover, the dynamic capabilities framework explains how auditors continuously sense technological change, seize learning opportunities, and reconfigure audit practices to sustain audit quality. This review contributes to the auditing literature by conceptualizing auditor adaptability as a multidimensional and evolving capability, offering insights for audit firms, professional bodies, and educators in designing future-oriented competency development strategies.

This study conducts a systematic qualitative literature review to examine the transformation of banking from basic digitisation to full digital banking through the multilevel integration of Industry 4.0 technologies. Synthesising peer-reviewed research across information systems, banking, and innovation studies, the review analyses how technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, blockchain, and platform architectures reshape banking at the micro (customer), meso (organisational), and macro (industry ecosystem) levels. The findings show that digital banking transformation is a non-linear, socio-technical process in which technological adoption generates value only when complemented by dynamic organisational capabilities, governance mechanisms, and supportive regulatory frameworks. The review further highlights the growing importance of platformisation, open banking, and fintech collaboration in redefining competitive boundaries and value creation in the banking sector. By integrating multilevel perspectives and established conceptual frameworks, this study advances theoretical understanding of digital banking transformation and offers insights for managers and policymakers navigating the transition toward full digital banking.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Village Information System (SID) in Pematang Gajah Village based on Article 86 of Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, as well as identify inhibiting and supporting factors in its implementation. Pematang Gajah Village has been developing the Village Website since 2022 as a form of SID implementation. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that even though SID has been equipped with hardware, software, and networks, access to information to the public has not been optimal due to uneven socialization. In addition, SID does not contain data on the development of villages and rural areas, and has not been supported by planning information from local governments. The main inhibiting factors include limited understanding of the community and village apparatus towards technology, incomplete socialization, and unstable internet networks. On the other hand, the existence of village websites, budget allocation, and the availability of technological devices are significant supporting factors. The commitment of village officials in gradually increasing the use of SID is also an important capital in system sustainability. This study recommends increasing human resource capacity, equitable distribution of socialization, and strengthening infrastructure support as strategic steps in optimizing SID at the village level.

Water is a basic, irreplaceable human need, so its management must be effective, efficient, and sustainable. The Tanarawa Village Government, through the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes), manages the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) to meet the community's clean water needs. However, various obstacles remain, ranging from suboptimal water quality, uneven distribution, and customer complaints. This situation raises questions about the extent to which service quality and complaints influence customer satisfaction at the Tanarawa Village PDAM, Waiblama District, Sikka Regency. This study aims to: (1) describe the service quality of the Tanarawa Village PDAM, (2) identify the types of complaints submitted by customers, and (3) analyze the influence of service quality and complaints on customer satisfaction. The research method used was a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey technique. Data were collected through questionnaires from 30 respondents who were customers of the Tanarawa Village PDAM. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination. The results of the study, based on descriptive analysis, indicate that service quality, complaints, and satisfaction are categorized as "Good," although there are still shortcomings in response speed, consistency of water distribution, and staff reliability. Customer complaints predominantly concern frequent interruptions in water flow, poor water quality, and slow response times, requiring improvement to Very Good. Statistical analysis of the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction shows a t_(count) > t_table = 3.325 > 1.99, concluding that service quality significantly influences customer satisfaction. Furthermore, statistical analysis of the effect of complaints on customer satisfaction also yielded a t_(count) > t_table = 3.917 > 1.99, concluding that customer complaints have a significant impact on satisfaction levels. Thus, this study confirms that consistent improvements in service quality and prompt and resolute complaint handling are important factors in increasing customer satisfaction. The results are expected to provide strategic input for the Tanarawa Village Water Company (PDAM) in improving its service system and strengthening relationships with the community.
