This study explores the integration of digital technology in English language learning in primary schools, focusing on the trends, challenges, and opportunities it presents. The primary objective is to identify the current trends in the use of digital technology in English language instruction, examine the challenges faced by educators and students in its implementation, and assess the potential opportunities for enhancing the quality of learning. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method was used to gather and analyze relevant studies published over the last decade. The findings reveal that digital technology has significantly impacted teaching and learning by providing broader access to educational resources and enabling more interactive, engaging, and student-centered learning experiences. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, access gaps, and technical skills remain barriers to effective implementation. The study also identifies key opportunities for improving teacher training, expanding access to materials, and leveraging interactive platforms to enhance English language acquisition. The implications of these findings suggest that digital technology, when appropriately integrated, can greatly improve the quality of English education in primary schools. Future research should focus on addressing the identified challenges and exploring more inclusive technological solutions.

The development of self-reliance among correctional inmates faces challenges in terms of surveillance effectiveness and order within correctional institutions. One of the main issues encountered is the lack of an optimal surveillance system, which can hinder the rehabilitation process and increase the risk of rule violations. To address this issue, a socialization program for the installation of additional CCTV cameras in the Self-Reliance Development Room at Banyuwangi Class IIA Correctional Facility was conducted. The program aimed to enhance surveillance effectiveness, create a safer rehabilitation environment, and encourage behavioral changes among inmates. The methods used in this community service project included needs analysis, coordination with correctional authorities, conducting socialization sessions for officers and inmates, and evaluating the impact of CCTV installation. The results indicate that the installation of CCTV contributes to improving inmate discipline, reducing rule violations, and strengthening transparency and accountability in the rehabilitation process. Additionally, this program fosters the emergence of local leaders among inmates who play a role in maintaining order. These findings align with social control and social learning theories, which emphasize that effective surveillance can shape individual behavior and promote compliance with established norms. In conclusion, the implementation of surveillance technology in the correctional system can serve as a strategic step in supporting inmate rehabilitation and social reintegration.

Food security and community economic empowerment are major challenges in many rural areas, including Sukolilo Village. This research aims to develop and analyze the effectiveness of an aquaponic system, a combination of hydroponics and fish farming, as an innovative sustainable solution. The methods used include observation, experimentation, and interviews with the local community. The results showed that the aquaponic system is able to increase agricultural productivity with better water use efficiency and provide economic benefits through crop diversification, namely vegetables and fish. In addition, the system is proven to be environmentally friendly as it utilizes organic waste from fish as plant nutrients, reduces the use of chemical fertilizers, and optimizes local resources. The implementation of the aquaponic system in Sukolilo Village not only improves food security but also opens up new business opportunities for the community, thus contributing to the improvement of local economic welfare. It is hoped that this model can be replicated in other areas as part of a sustainable agriculture-based economic development strategy.

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly transformed the shipping logistics and supply chain management sectors. This study explores the impact of digitalization on these industries, focusing on the integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT). The primary objective of this research is to analyze how digital tools enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve decision-making in logistics and supply chain operations. Through qualitative and quantitative methods, including case studies and surveys, the study identifies key trends and challenges faced by organizations adopting these technologies. Findings reveal that digitalization leads to improved transparency, real-time tracking, and enhanced collaboration across the supply chain. However, challenges such as cybersecurity risks, high implementation costs, and the need for skilled labor remain significant. The implications of these findings suggest that while digital transformation offers considerable benefits, organizations must carefully manage the transition to ensure sustainability and long-term success.
