Islamic boarding schools as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia have experienced various challenges and changes along with the times. One of the challenges faced is the emergence of a capitalistic economy which emphasizes aspects of competition, efficiency and profit orientation. This research aims to explore how Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions adapt to a capitalistic economy without sacrificing the values ​​and basic principles of Islamic teachings. Using a qualitative approach, this research involved participant observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies at several Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The research results show that Islamic boarding schools have implemented various adaptation strategies, such as diversifying funding sources, implementing modern management, and developing business units that are in line with Islamic values. However, Islamic boarding schools also face challenges in maintaining a balance between spiritual and economic aspects, as well as maintaining the distinctive identity and characteristics of Islamic boarding schools. This research contributes to the understanding of the dynamics of Islamic educational institutions in facing global economic changes and provides recommendations for future policy and practice.

Kemajuan teknologi informasi, sementara membawa banyak manfaat, juga membawa tantangan baru. Salah satu contohnya adalah munculnya ideologi Islam transnasional yang dapat memunculkan radikalisme dan ekstremisme di kalangan masyarakat. pesantren juga masih menghadapi tantangan dalam mengadaptasi diri terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Masalah infrastruktur yang kurang memadai, manajemen yang lemah, dan kurangnya SDM menjadi kendala utama, termasuk di Kabupaten Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI). permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam artikel ini adalah Bagaimana pengaturan penyelenggaraan pondok pesantern di Kabupaten Penukal Adab Lematang Ilir untuk mewujudkan  kepastian hukum. Metode yuridis normatif selain studi kepustakaan juga melibatkan wawancara dan focus group discussion (FGD). Peraturan tentang fasilitasi penyelenggaraan pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Penukal abad Lematang Ilir telah memenuhi tatacara penyusunan peraturan perundang-undangan sebagaimana diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2011 yang telah dirubah dua kali. Penyusunan naskah akademik sebagai langkah awal yang harus dilakukan sebelum dilakukannya pembahasan sampai pengesahan. Dengan pengaturan fasilitasi penyelenggaraan pondok pesantren ini, maka kepastian hukum  akan dapat diwujudkan, yang berujung terciptanya penyelenggaraan pondok pesantren yang berkualitas yang mendasarkan pada Pancasila dan Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945.

Effective communication is a crucial skill for educators, particularly in religious institutions like Pondok Pesantren. This community service project aimed to enhance the public speaking abilities of teachers and instructors at a Pondok Pesantren. Through interactive workshops and practical exercises, participants were trained in various aspects of public speaking, including voice modulation, body language, content organization, and audience engagement. The project emphasized the importance of clear and confident communication in imparting knowledge and religious teachings. Pre- and post-training evaluations showed significant improvements in the participants' public speaking skills, confidence levels, and teaching effectiveness. The project's success highlights the value of community service initiatives in promoting professional development and fostering a conducive learning environment within religious educational institutions

Pondok Pesantren, Islamic boarding schools, play a crucial role in shaping the character of young generations. Effective communication management is essential to ensure the smooth execution of various educational, religious, and social activities. This study aims to analyze the concepts, objectives, functions, strategies, and influencing factors of communication management in Pondok Pesantren. The research method used is library research, which involves reviewing relevant literature. The findings indicate that communication management in pesantren encompasses planning, organizing, executing, and supervising communication processes to ensure effective dissemination of religious and educational messages. The primary goals of communication management are to achieve understanding, build acceptance, and motivate action. The functions of communication management include planning, organizing, executing, and controlling. Communication strategies are divided into internal strategies, such as dialogic communication, sharing, counseling, and interviews between caregivers and students, and external strategies, such as interpersonal dialogue, religious lectures, visits, provision of business capital, and zakat to the community. Factors influencing communication management include interaction, motivation, ethics, internal communication within the pesantren, and religious relationships within the community. With effective communication management, Pondok Pesantren can enhance the quality of education and character building for students and provide positive impacts on the community.

Framing is understood as the process of how someone classifies, organizes, and interprets their social experiences to understand themselves and the reality outside themselves. The current situation of radicalism raises serious concerns and needs to be watched out for. In Indonesia, radicalism is generally related to religious extremism, especially in the Islamic context. Several Islamic extremist groups in Indonesia have emerged and caused tension in society. This research aims to define the problem, estimate the source of the problem, assess morals, and emphasize solving problems that occur at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School on the online media Kompas.com. The theory used in this research is Robert N. Entman's framing analysis theory. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use documentation and observation. Analyze data by means of data reduction, data presentation, and summary. The results of this research show the essence of the construction formed by the online media Kompas.com by looking at Robert N. Entman's dimensions, namely the selection of issues and highlighting aspects related to the selection of complex facts and realities and how the news is written. Overall, Kompas.com reports regarding the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School which is affiliated with the NII at this early stage, based on the author's observations, it tends to refer more to the MUI which is struggling to be able to prove clearly and in detail to prove that the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School is definitely affiliated with the NII. However, there are several things and several parties who are trying to prevent this from being revealed, but the MUI team does not want to explain this. In framing the news about the NII-affiliated Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School case, it emphasizes the extent to which the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School case has been handled and which parties are involved in this case.

Baitul Abidin Darussalam Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School is an Islamic boarding school based on Al-Qur'an tahfidz which is located in Sarimulyo Hamlet, Rt 01 Rw 10 Kalibeber Village, Mojotengah District, Wonosobo Regency.  The Baitul Abidin Darussalam Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School is adjacent to other Al-Qur'an Tahfidz Islamic Boarding Schools in Kalibeber Village, one of which is the Al-Asy'ariyyah Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. However, the Al-Qur'an learning strategy at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School is very different from other Islamic boarding schools which are both based on the Al-Qur'an. This research aims to determine the tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning strategy used by the Baitul Abidin Darussalam Wonosobo Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in teaching and training students to memorize the Al-Qur'an in its entirety. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative research methodology with a descriptive approach, namely by using research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data analysis technique goes through three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and verification. The research results show that the tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning strategy implemented at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School uses 3 strategies, namely, First, using a preparation strategy, a double repetition strategy, and a retention strategy.

Teachers must be able to synchronize their behavior according to what they teach, meaning what the teacher says is in accordance with actions that can be seen from their daily behavior. The role of the teacher really determines the implementation of a good learning process in school. Where religious character is one of the character values ​​that is developed in school. However, there needs to be an in-depth study of what causes them to still have this non-religious attitude or is it outside of the religious attitude that has been instilled in them. The problem of this research is how effective the teacher's personality competence is in forming the religious character of the students of the Nurulhuda Islamic Boarding School, Pakandangan, Sumenep, and what can support and hinder the implementation of teacher personality competence in forming the religious character of the students of the Nurulhuda Islamic Boarding School, Pakandangan, Sumenep, the 2022-2022 school year. 2023. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. There are three components to the data collection technique, namely observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, researchers used single case data analysis techniques (single case design) with the data analysis model introduced by Miles and Hiberman, namely the data analysis process was carried out simultaneously with data collection through several stages starting from the data collection process, presentation and verification or drawing conclusions . The research conclusion is that the effectiveness of teacher personality competence in forming the religious character of students at the Nurulhuda Islamic Boarding School in Pakandangan Sumenep for the 2022-2023 academic year is the involvement of teachers as motivators, mentors, educators, inspirers, evaluators and supervisors. Apart from that, the effectiveness of the teacher's personality competence is a role model for students, providing motivation and advice to students if they commit a violation and there is always time for students even outside class hours. Where these forms are gentle, disciplined, responsible and fair. Supporting factors for implementing teacher personality competence in forming the religious character of students at the Nurulhuda Pakandangan Islamic Boarding School, Sumenep for the 2022-2023 academic year are control and supervision as well as instructions from the boarding school leadership and cooperation and mutual assistance between teaching staff. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are inadequate infrastructure, insufficient financing, inadequate family support and supervision when students are at home.

The purpose of writing this article is to find out the policy for strengthening Islamic boarding schools with the mu'ilah program. This research uses a type of library research. Library research is research carried out by reviewing various journals and related reference books. The results of his research show that the implementation of Mu'ilah is an effort to advance and equalize Islamic boarding school education and can also be used to improve the quality of Islamic boarding schools. The Mu'ilah (equalization) curriculum is applied to Salaf or modern Islamic boarding schools with certain criteria and requirements. The curriculum of salaf Islamic boarding schools that obtain Mu'ilah or equalization is the yellow book curriculum plus the general education curriculum which includes the general education curriculum as referred to in paragraph (1) (article 10 paragraph 3 PMA no. 18 of 2014) containing at least: a) education citizenship (al-tarbiyah al-wathaniyah); b) Indonesian (al-lughah al-indunisiyah); c) mathematics (al-ri.yadhiyat); and d) Natural sciences (al-ulum al-thabi'iyah). The mu'ada curriculum regulations are contained in the Islamic Boarding School Law no. 18 of 2019 concerning Islamic Boarding Schools. The Mudalam education curriculum standards listed in PMA Number 31 of 2020 concerning Islamic boarding school education CHAPTER III Mudalam Education include: curriculum, educators and education staff, assessment and graduation, facilities and infrastructure. If it is related to the National Education Standards listed in the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 57 of 2021 Article 3 concerning National Education Standards, namely with 8 standards, then Islamic boarding schools only apply 5 standards, namely: (1) Content Standards; (2) Process Standards; (3) Standards for Educators and Education Personnel; (4) Graduate Competency Standards;  and (5) Facilities and Infrastructure Standards.

This study aims to determine how the management of admission of new students at Busra Chalid Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya. The research method used is descriptive method using a qualitative approach. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interview, and documentation. Data were obtained from observations and interviews with the subjects of this study, namely the head of the boarding school, the chairman of the new student admission committee, and several new student admission committee members at Busra Chalid Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya. The results of this study indicate that, the management activities of new santri admission include the admission planning process and the implementation of santri admission. The process of implementing new student admission activities at Busra Chalid Islamic Boarding School Palangka Raya includes: 1) Formation of the New Santri Admission Committee. 2) Meeting of the New Student Admission Committee. 3) Making and installing admission announcements. 4) Registration. 5) Selection. 6) Determination of accepted students. 7) Announcement of accepted students. 8) Re-registration and the last process, namely; 9) Student Orientation.

Islamic boarding schools are institutions where students usually live in huts (dormitories) using classical and general books as teaching materials, as well as studying Islamic religious knowledge in detail and practicing them. This research uses a qualitative method where researchers get answers from sources who have been interviewed, located in one of the modern Islamic boarding schools in Bogor, namely the An-Nawawi Al-Bantani Modern Islamic Boarding School. This research aims to analyze the relationship between menu management and budget savings at the An Nawawi Al Bantani Islamic Boarding School and explain the factors that can influence menu management in an effort to save logistics budgets. An Nawawi Al Bantani Islamic boarding school implements a policy of cooperation with vendors or suppliers as well as checking market prices directly to ensure quality and prices are appropriate. Apart from that, the lodge also manages food waste well, reduces waste, and ensures that leftover food that is suitable for consumption is reused.

Scabies is a worldwide disease with varying prevalence as it can affect all socioeconomic classes, ages, races, and genders, scabies is a significant disease for public health as it is a major cause of global morbidity and mortality. Objective: Identify scabies prevention behavior in students. Research method: descriptive research using a cross sectional approach.  The sample in this study was 44 respondents, Data collection method using questionnaires. Results: most scabies prevention behavior in students was in the less category, namely 86.3% (38 students). Conclusion: There is still a large percentage of scabies prevention behavior in students so that appropriate interventions are needed to increase student knowledge.

This study discusses the empowerment of Islamic boarding schools in optimizing communication activities through socialization of bullying behavior prevention among students of Al-Bunyan Islamic Boarding School. The focus of research is the role of pesantren as educational institutions that can significantly influence the character and behavior of students. Through the implementation of structured socialization programs, pesantren seeks to raise awareness of the negative impact of bullying and create a supportive and respectful environment. Qualitative methods were used in the study, including interviews, observation, and documentation, to evaluate the effectiveness of the initiative. The research findings show that targeted communication and socialization activities in the context of pesantren can effectively reduce the incidence of bullying, encourage positive interactions between students, and improve the overall welfare of students. This study emphasizes the importance of active involvement and tailored interventions in the educational environment to overcome and reduce bullying behavior as well as the use of digital media as an innovation in curriculum development.

The approach method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The data collected by researchers is more focused on several research objectives, namely: 1) describing modern Islamic boarding schools based on the times. 2) describe Islamic boarding school institutions in character education 3) analyze more deeply the issues of violence in Islamic boarding schools, Islamic boarding schools are places where education about the Islamic religion focuses on Islamic religious studies and does not eliminate contemporary elements in the current era. more modern, especially in modern-based Islamic boarding schools.

The role of Islamic boarding schools has created interesting dynamics related to economic, educational, political and social relations. The better the economic status, the quality of education, and the wider the influence of power, the better the culture and traditions that are born and developed through Islamic boarding schools. The aim of this thesis is to determine the management of the economic development strategy of the Dalailul Khoirot Islamic boarding school, Muntialo Village, West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This thesis uses the economic development strategy theory of the Dalailul Khoirot Islamic boarding school, Muntialo Village, West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This thesis uses a qualitative approach, data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation and analysis methods carried out by data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The research results show that economic development strategy for the Dalailul Khoirot Islamic boarding school, Muntialo Village, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, is carried out by developing the entrepreneurial spirit of students, practical methods, implementing a partnership pattern, sustainable business units, creating independence and inviting community participation. Constraints in the economic development strategy of the Dalailul Kh Islamic boarding school. Obstacles in the economic development strategy of the Dalailul Khoirot Islamic boarding school, Muntialo Village, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, include low public buying interest and limited facilities and infrastructure. Introduction and use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology is increasingly widespread in various aspects of human life. In the context of community service, AI has great potential to improve the quality of life of people through a variety of innovative applications. This article discusses how AI can be used in community service, including practical applications in the field of education. Student Data Management: Al Ihsan Foundation can use AI to manage orphan student data such as personal data, academic data, and health data. AI-supported data management systems can integrate this information better, thus enabling more personalized and customized services. Learning and Development: AI can be used to develop online learning platforms that are tailored to individual student learning needs. AI systems analyze student learning preferences and progress and recommend the most effective learning materials and methods. By leveraging AI, younger generations can create exciting, high-quality content without having to have specialized expertise in graphic design or video editing. For example, technologies such as Canva Magic Studio leverage artificial intelligence to make it easier to make exciting designs.The training aims to provide a better understanding to the younger generation of the basic concepts of AI and its applications in everyday life, including in the creation of creative digital content. Hopefully, with a better understanding of AI, the younger generation will be able to develop their creative potential and use it for a variety of positive purposes in their lives.

This study aims to develop a better reward and punishment system in the learning process at the Az-Zikra Islamic Boarding School, Bogor. This study used a qualitative method with descriptive data collection. The aim is to increase discipline, reduce bullying, increase learning motivation, and provide rewards to students. Achievement stars per semester, awards from the homeroom teacher, praise, and prizes as a form of reward. The form of punishment implemented at the Az-Zikra Islamic Boarding School in Bogor for students is in the form of warnings and advice, memorizing lessons and the Sunnah Prayers of the Prophet, writing astaghfirullah as specified, calling parents, notes on report cards and black lists for the heaviest offenders.

This research aims to assess the impact of the implementation of measured marketing strategies in Pesantren Modern An Nahdliyah, particularly in increasing the number of male and female students (santri) and enhancing public awareness nationwide. The research methodology involves both quantitative and qualitative analyses, incorporating data collection from marketing campaigns, feedback from prospective students, and the evaluation of public responses. The findings indicate that the implementation of marketing strategies at Pesantren Modern An Nahdliyah has successfully achieved its objectives, leading to a significant increase in student enrollments and heightened awareness among the public. Digital media, including the official website, social media, and online advertising campaigns, proved to be effective tools in reaching the target audience. The success factors involve strong collaboration between the marketing team and the pesantren management, along with active involvement of the pesantren officials in promotional activities. However, challenges were identified in adapting to changing trends in digital marketing and increasing competition within the pesantren sector. Future opportunities lie in the development of creative content, collaboration with influencers, and the utilization of emerging technologies. Recommendations include enhancing collaboration with media outlets, optimizing online advertising campaigns, and continuous monitoring of digital marketing trends. This research contributes to a better understanding of the effectiveness of marketing strategies in religious educational institutions, with the hope that Pesantren Modern An Nahdliyah continues to thrive and becomes a nationally recognized center for education.
