This study traces the historical and intellectual processes that enabled Plato's ideas to enter the tradition of Islamic philosophy and subsequently influence Islamic boarding school education in Indonesia. Starting from the increasing openness of Islamic boarding schools to classical humanities, this study aims to understand how Plato's ideas were transferred from the context of Ancient Greece, reinterpreted by Muslim philosophers, and integrated into traditional learning practices. Using a library-based qualitative approach with hermeneutic, historical-intellectual, and thematic methods, this study analyzes the transmission pathways that include the Abbasid translation movement, the interpretive contributions of figures such as Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, and Ibn Sina, and the absorption of concepts through literature on ethics, logic, and adab. The findings show that Islamic boarding schools did not inherit Plato's ideas directly, but rather through the Islamic philosophical tradition that reshaped Platonic elements to fit the Islamic intellectual framework. Concepts related to spiritual education, character building, and ethical rationality are in line with the orientation of tazkiyah al-nafs, which is the foundation of Islamic boarding school pedagogy. This study confirms that the relationship between Plato's ideas and Islamic education emerged through a long creative process, not merely a transfer of texts. Practically, these findings highlight opportunities to develop a more reflective, critical, and virtue-centered pesantren curriculum, while encouraging further ethnographic research to explore how the classical philosophical heritage is reinterpreted in contemporary santri learning practices.

The flood disaster the struct Mauponggo, Flores, Est Nusa tenggara, not only caused infrastructural destruction, loss of life and social trauma, but also revealed a deeper philosophical dimension of human existence. From an ontological prespective, a disaster is not merely a natural occurrence but a moment of disclosure that unvieils the existential fragility of human beings in the faceof natural forces beyond rational, technological, and social control. Onology, as a branch of metaphysics that explores the nature of being, understands humans as beings whose existence is inseparable from space, time, and limitation. Trough a reflective and literature based approach, this study examines the Mauponggo flood as an existential event that exposes the ontological condition of humanity, drawing particularly on Martin Heidegger’s concepts of being toward death and being in the world. The finding show that disaster reveals humans as finite and vulnerable beings who remain open to relationships with nature, others, and the transcendent. This study affirms that an ontological prespective on disaster not only enriches academic discussions on the philosophy of disaster but also holds practical signifincace. The awareness of existential fragility encourages social solidarity, ecological ethics, and deeper transcendental reflection. Thus, this work contributes to developing more reflective and meaningful humanitarian and sustainability responses rooted in a philosophical understanding of human existence and its place in the world.

This study examines the ideas of Ziauddin Sardar and Azyumardi Azra in three major areas: Islamic education, digital religious authority, and religious moderation. Using a library research approach, this article analyzes how Sardar’s Postnormal Times (PNT) framework explains global complexity, chaos, and contradictions that shape the future of Islamic thought and education. Meanwhile, Azra’s concept of Islam Nusantara and wasathiyah provides a historical and cultural foundation for constructing moderate Islamic identity in Indonesia. Findings indicate that Sardar emphasizes adaptive education oriented toward future literacy, while Azra highlights the integration of tradition, modernity, and local culture. In the context of digital authority, Sardar views the transformation as a structural effect of postnormal conditions driven by algorithmic systems, while Azra stresses the need to strengthen scholarly legitimacy based on sanad, institutions, and ethical guidance. Both perspectives converge on the importance of moderation. Sardar presents moderation as a strategy to manage global complexity, whereas Azra positions wasathiyah as the inherent identity of Islam in the archipelago. This study concludes that synthesizing both frameworks can strengthen Islamic education, stabilize digital religious authority, and reinforce Indonesia’s moderate Islamic identity in responding to contemporary challenges.

This study explores the role of the Holy Spirit as the main actor in spreading the gospel according to the Book of Acts and its relevance to the church's current mission strategy. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach with literature review, this study examines biblical texts and theological literature that emphasize that since the events of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit has been the main initiator of the church's mission movement. In Luke's narrative, the Holy Spirit not only empowers the disciples to witness, but also leads the direction of ministry, selects and sends missionaries, opens and closes mission paths, and affirms the inclusiveness of the gospel for non-Jewish nations. The Holy Spirit acts as a catalyst that transforms a weak community of disciples into a church that boldly proclaims the gospel, as seen in Peter's sermon and the rapid growth of the congregation. In addition, the Holy Spirit preserves the purity of the church, unites the congregation, and gives spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ. The results of this study confirm that the success of the early church's mission did not depend on human strategies, but on obedience to the Holy Spirit's leadership. The implication for the church today is the need to depend on the work of the Holy Spirit in evangelism, fellowship, and the development of the congregation's gifts, so that the church is able to respond to the challenges of the times with divine power and wisdom.

This study presents a comparative analysis of the practice of talaqqi in the science of qira’at in Indonesia and Syria, two significant regions in the transmission of sanad-based Qur’anic recitation. Based on the premise that talaqqi is the primary method for preserving the authenticity of the Qur’an—yet its standards, patterns, and scholarly framework have developed differently across regions this research aims to identify the similarities and differences in requirements, implementation methods, stages, and reference texts used in talaqqi qira’at in both countries. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a multi-site design: in Indonesia at Pondok Pesantren Al-Munawwir Krapyak, Yanbu’ul Qur’an Kudus, Bustanu ‘Usysyaqil Qur’an Demak, and Al-Hikmah Semarang; and in Syria at Muhyiddin Ibn ‘Arabi Mosque, Mujamma’ Sheikh Ahmad Kuftaro, Maghribiyah Mosque, and the Qira’at Department of Bilad Syam University, Al-Fath al-Islamy branch. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, and then analyzed descriptively and analytically. The findings reveal that both countries require memorization of the Qur’an (30 juz), conduct talaqqi through face-to-face musyafahah, follow the sequential stages of ifrād jam‘ (including mufradat, jama‘ shughra, and jama‘ kubra), and refer to the Syāthibiyyah poem as a foundational text. However, Indonesia tends to focus on qira’at sab‘ah within the pesantren system, with simpler entry requirements and reliance on the practical manual Faidhul Barokat. In contrast, Syria emphasizes qira’at ‘asyrah with stricter selection standards, implementation in mosques and universities, recitations accompanied by evidence from Syāthibiyyah and ad-Durrah, and extensive support from various commentaries and jam‘ al-qirā’āt muṣḥafs. These findings reinforce the role of Indonesian pesantren in the global qira’at tradition and provide a basis for evaluating and developing a more integrative talaqqi qira’at curriculum that balances theoretical understanding and practical mastery.

This study examines the fundamental concepts of learning by emphasizing that learning is an active process that not only involves receiving information but also includes changes in students’ knowledge, attitudes, and skills. This research was conducted using a literature review method by exploring various relevant scholarly sources to understand the theories, principles, components, and factors that influence the success of learning. The findings indicate that learning theories such as behaviorism, cognitivism, constructivism, and humanistic theory provide an essential foundation for teachers in designing meaningful learning experiences. In addition, there has been a paradigm shift from teacher-centered learning to student-centered learning, which requires teachers to act as facilitators and designers of a conducive learning environment. The study further reveals that effective learning is determined by the alignment of objectives, materials, methods, media, learning activities, and evaluation. Internal factors such as students’ motivation and readiness to learn, as well as external factors such as teacher competence and the availability of learning facilities, also significantly influence learning outcomes. Overall, this study emphasizes that effective learning requires comprehensive planning, adaptive approaches, and classroom management that supports active student engagement.

This study aims to analyze in depth the moral values contained in Surah Luqman verses 14–15 based on M. Quraish Shihab's Tafsir Al-Mishbah and their relevance in shaping the character of adolescents in the modern era. The research method used is library research with the tafsir munasabah approach, namely examining the relationship between the meanings of verses contextually and thematically. The main data source comes from Tafsir Al-Mishbah, supported by relevant tafsir literature and character education studies. The results of the study show that in Tafsir Al-Mishbah, Surah Luqman verses 14–15 contain six main moral values, namely birrul wâlidayn (devotion to parents), an attitude of gratitude to Allah and both parents, proportional obedience and not violating the principle of monotheism, gentleness and ethics in responding to differences, orientation to the afterlife, and exemplary behavior. These values have strong relevance to efforts to shape the character of adolescents, especially in facing moral challenges in the digital era. The implementation of this teaching is considered strategic as a fundamental solution to overcome various youth problems, such as cyberbullying, ethical crises, and moral decadence, by instilling religious attitudes, empathy, and social responsibility.

This study aims to explore Christology in the Gospel of John, specifically the identity of Jesus as the pre-existent Word (Logos), His incarnation, the claim to divinity through the statement "ego eimi," unity with the Father, and its relevance for the early church and the contemporary church. The method used is a qualitative approach through literature study, with the primary source being the Gospel of John (especially John 1:1-18 and the statement "ego eimi"), supported by commentaries, theological journals, and the works of scholars such as Culpepper, Bauckham, and Dunn, analyzed in historical and theological contexts. The results show that John presents an explicit high Christology, depicting Jesus as the true God who became man, with theological essences such as the basis of worship, the certainty of salvation, and the resilience of faith for the congregation facing exclusion and polemics, while also being relevant for the foundation of faith, pastoral comfort, and missionary motivation in the current era of pluralism.

This study examines the intellectual footprint of Nusantara scholars in the tradition of Qur'anic interpretation from classical to contemporary times. This study is motivated by the importance of understanding the role and contribution of Nusantara scholars in building a distinctive and contextual style of interpretation with local culture. The purpose of this study is to trace the development of methods, styles, and approaches to interpretation used by scholars from time to time. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach through analysis of exegetical works such as Tarjuman al-Mustafid by Abdur Rauf as-Singkili, Tafsir Al-Munir by Nawawi al-Bantani, Tafsir Al-Furqon by Al-Hasan, Tafsir Al-Qur'an Karim by Prof. Dr. H. Mahmud Yunus, Tafsir Al-Azhar by Hamka, to Tafsir al-Mishbah by M. Quraish Shihab. The research results show that during the classical period, interpretation focused on spirituality and spirituality, while in the modern and contemporary eras, interpretations have developed that emphasize the maqasid al-shari'ah (purpose of law). They focus not only on literal meaning but also on universal wisdom and objectives. This development reflects the continuity between the global Islamic scholarly tradition and the local socio-cultural realities of the Indonesian archipelago. Interpretations of the Quran by Indonesian scholars not only enrich the global Islamic heritage but also demonstrate that Islam is capable of dialogue with cultural and contemporary contexts without losing its universal values.

This study discusses the learning process of Christian Religious Education (CRE) for early childhood based on a hermeneutical approach as a pedagogical strategy for fostering children’s faith from an early age. Early childhood is a critical stage in faith development; therefore, learning methods must be not only informative but also transformative and meaningful. This study employs a qualitative method through a literature review, analyzing hermeneutical theories, early childhood development studies, and CRE teaching practices in the Indonesian educational context. The findings indicate that the application of child-centered hermeneutics enables teachers to connect biblical messages with children’s concrete experiences through storytelling, visual media, role-playing, and multisensory activities appropriate to children’s world. Contextual, simple, and creative interpretation of biblical texts helps children internalize faith values more deeply and practically. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening teachers’ competencies through practical hermeneutics training and implementing developmentally appropriate learning approaches. Thus, hermeneutics functions not only as a tool for interpreting biblical texts but also as a pedagogical process that holistically shapes children’s faith development.

Many churches face great challenges in carrying out the mission of the gospel effectively in the midst of their limited resources, one of which is the Evangelical Kalimantan Church (GKE), especially in the Calon Resort (Cares) of GKE Bulik Timur. This study uses a qualitative approach by examining the condition of objects naturally, where the researcher plays the role of a key instrument and the sampling technique is carried out by purposive sampling. The results of the study show that limited funds caused by the lack of spiritual health of congregation members are the main obstacle to service, especially in PKB mission activities and congregation formation. The low financial support of the congregation is influenced by the weak theological understanding of giving and the limited economic income of the congregation. To overcome this, the church implements various theological and responsible efforts and strategies, including through strengthening preaching, spiritual formation, and the development of productive investment in the form of oil palm plantations. This plantation business has proven to be able to be a sustainable solution in supporting church finances so that services can run more optimally.

This study examines the implementation of the Manak Salah tradition in Padang Bulia Customary Village from the perspectives of legal certainty and human rights protection. Manak Salah is a customary practice associated with the birth of opposite-sex twins, which in Balinese Hindu cosmology is considered a sacred event that may disrupt the balance between the sekala and niskala realms, thereby requiring purification rituals. Although the contemporary practice of this tradition has become more humane and no longer involves social exclusion, its regulation remains unwritten and has not been formally codified in the village’s Awig-awig (customary law). This condition creates the risk of multiple interpretations, legal uncertainty, and insufficient protection of the rights of children and affected families. This research employs an empirical juridical method with a qualitative approach, using interviews with customary leaders, field observations, and document analysis of statutory regulations and customary legal sources. The findings reveal that the absence of written norms causes the implementation of Manak Salah to rely heavily on the discretion of customary authorities, leading to potential inconsistency and normative vulnerability. This study emphasizes the urgency of codifying the Manak Salah tradition into the Awig-awig as a form of customary law reform aimed at ensuring legal certainty, strengthening institutional accountability within customary villages, and harmonizing customary law with Bali Provincial Regulation No. 4 of 2019 and fundamental human rights principles.

The informal trading of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang game accounts through social networking platforms has expanded rapidly alongside the acceleration of digital technology and the growing integration of online gaming into contemporary lifestyles, particularly among younger demographics. Game accounts characterized by high competitive rankings, exclusive virtual assets, and accumulated in-game achievements have increasingly been commodified and exchanged through social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, predominantly utilizing electronic payment instruments, including digital wallets. Despite its widespread practice, this form of transaction frequently generates legal complications, most notably in relation to consumer protection. Buyers are often exposed to substantial risks, including fraudulent representations, discrepancies between promised and actual account specifications, unauthorized resale, and the revocation of account access after payment completion. This study seeks to critically examine the legal framework governing the trading of Mobile Legends accounts and to assess the extent to which consumer protection mechanisms are afforded under Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions and Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. Employing a normative juridical research design, this study applies statutory and conceptual approaches supported by the analysis of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The findings indicate that consumer protection within online game account transactions remains structurally insufficient, primarily due to the absence of explicit legal recognition of digital game accounts as legally protected objects. Consequently, the study underscores the necessity of adopting progressive legal interpretation and formulating specific regulatory instruments to enhance legal certainty and ensure more effective consumer protection within the evolving landscape of digital transactions.

This study aims to describe the forms of emotional trauma experienced by adolescent victims of verbal violence in Tuntungan Village 1. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method on three adolescents who were purposively selected based on their experiences of verbal violence in their family environment. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation to obtain a comprehensive picture of the psychological condition of the research subjects. The obtained data were then analyzed descriptively qualitatively through the processes of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that verbal violence has a significant impact on the emotional health of adolescents, including decreased learning motivation, the emergence of withdrawal behavior from social environments, and the loss of a sense of security and comfort within the family. In addition, harsh, demeaning, and repetitive family communication patterns form a negative self-concept in adolescents, which has the potential to affect personality development and social relationships in the future. The findings of this study emphasize the important role of families, schools, and communities in creating a supportive environment, as well as the need for preventive efforts and psychosocial interventions to prevent and address emotional trauma in adolescents on an ongoing basis.

Investment is one of the key drivers of national economic growth as it contributes to capital formation, job creation, and the expansion of production capacity. However, investment realization is dynamic and inherently uncertain, influenced by both domestic and global economic conditions. This study aims to analyze the probability of investment growth in Indonesia based on investment realization data for the first quarter of 2025. The research employs a quantitative approach using descriptive statistical analysis and probability analysis. The data used are secondary data obtained from official publications of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), including national investment realization, Domestic Investment (PMDN), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI/PMA), and regional distribution of investment. The results indicate that investment realization in the first quarter of 2025 reached Rp465.2 trillion, equivalent to 24.4% of the national investment target for 2025. Investment probability is relatively balanced between PMDN and PMA, as well as between Java and non-Java regions, reflecting a stable investment climate and early progress in regional development equity. Overall, the probability of investment growth in Indonesia in 2025 remains favorable; however, achieving the annual investment target largely depends on the consistency of investment realization and the effectiveness of government policies in the subsequent quarters.

This study aims to construct a comprehensive concept of Quranic Andragogy based on the profound educational interaction between Prophet Musa a.s. and Prophet Khidir a.s. as narrated in Surah Al-Kahfi. Employing systematic library research with a thematic exegesis approach and rigorous content analysis, this research synthesizes Malcolm Knowles’ andragogy theory with core Islamic values and principles. The findings reveal that Quranic Andragogy transcends conventional Western pragmatism by effectively integrating intellectual autonomy with deep spiritual humility (tawadhu). The narrative illustrates three fundamental pillars of this pedagogical model: the urgency of cultivating internal motivation (the need to know), which is driven by a conscious willingness to 'unlearn' ego and preconceptions; the careful management of cognitive conflict within experiential learning processes; and the consistent implementation of a disciplined, ethically guided learning contract. It is concluded that adult education in Islam requires a careful balance between critical reasoning, reflective practice, and spiritual obedience in order to achieve holistic self-transformation that extends beyond the mere transfer of knowledge and information, fostering both intellectual and moral development in learners.
