Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a crucial role in shaping the moral character of students at the elementary school level. However, learning methods used in IRE classrooms often remain conventional and teacher-centered, resulting in low student engagement and limited understanding of religious material. In response to the educational demands of the 21st century, a transformation in learning strategies is necessary. This study explores the implementation of active learning methods Card Sort, The Power of Two, and Snowballing as innovative approaches to revitalize IRE instruction. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and supporting documentation. The findings reveal that Card Sort enhances students’ ability to visually organize and connect religious concepts, The Power of Two facilitates deeper comprehension through peer discussion, and Snowballing promotes collaborative knowledge construction in stages. These methods contribute to a more interactive, student-centered, and meaningful learning process. Moreover, the integration of these strategies helps improve students' critical thinking, communication, and social-emotional skills while strengthening their internalization of Islamic values. Despite challenges such as instructional planning and classroom management, active learning techniques offer promising potential to transform IRE learning into a dynamic and participatory experience. The study provides practical recommendations for educators and school administrators to develop more effective and engaging IRE strategies.

Assessment of early childhood social-emotional development plays a crucial role in preparing children for the next stage of education. However, many early childhood institutions still rely on simple and unsystematic assessment methods. This study aims to implement a rating scale as an assessment tool for the social-emotional development of children aged 5–6 years in the context of a transportation-themed play activity. A descriptive quantitative approach was used, involving 9 children assessed with a validated observation instrument. The results indicate that most children exhibited very good social-emotional development. For the indicator of willingness to join group play, 6 children were in the Very Well Developed (BSB) category. For the ability to play cooperatively, 7 children were rated BSB. Regarding the expression of joy when sharing experiences, 6 children were also categorized as BSB. The rating scale proved effective in systematically and objectively documenting children's social-emotional behaviors and served as a foundation for designing follow-up learning strategies. This study recommends integrating social-emotional assessments into daily practice and fostering collaboration between teachers and parents to optimize children's development.

This study aims to examine the effect of interaction frequency among 2023 cohort Sharia Accounting students on the effectiveness of online learning. The research was motivated by the increasing implementation of online classes, especially during lecturer absences or national holidays. A quantitative approach was applied through a questionnaire distributed to students. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and One Way ANOVA tests. The results indicate that although students showed a reasonable frequency of interaction, there was no significant effect on learning effectiveness. This suggests that interaction alone may not be the key factor in successful online learning. Other elements such as motivation, teaching methods, and learning environment may also play an important role. The study recommends that students engage more consistently in class and that lecturers develop more engaging and interactive online learning strategies.
