Worm infestation due to Soil-Transmitted Helminths (STH) infection remains a public health problem, especially among elementary school children who frequently interact with contaminated soil. This condition is a major concern because it can cause long-term health problems, particularly in terms of physical growth and development of children. This study aims to identify the presence of STH worm eggs and larvae in soil and fecal samples of children in Bekoso Village, Pasir Belengkong District, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. This study used a descriptive approach with a cross-sectional design. The samples used consisted of 23 soil points taken from oil palm plantations with sandy and loose soil criteria, as well as 16 fecal samples from elementary school children. Fecal examination was carried out using the Kato-Katz method to detect worm eggs, while the soil was examined using the Baermann technique to detect worm larvae. The results showed that 25% of children's fecal samples were infected with worm eggs, with 12.5% containing hookworm eggs, 12.5% Taenia sp. eggs, and 6.25% Ascaris lumbricoides eggs. In soil samples, 60.87% tested positive for Strongyloides stercoralis larvae and 26.09% tested positive for Ascaris lumbricoides eggs. These findings indicate a high risk of STH infection in children in the area. Environmental factors such as soil moisture, soil texture suitable for worm breeding, and poor personal hygiene practices are suspected to be the main causes of the spread of infection. This study emphasizes the importance of education on clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) and improving environmental sanitation to reduce cases of worm infection, especially in endemic areas such as Bekoso Village. More comprehensive prevention efforts are urgently needed to address this problem and improve public health, especially among elementary school children.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the media-assisted differentiation method in improving the ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary in grade III students of MI Salamah. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of low student ability in memorizing vocabulary due to teaching techniques that tend to be monotonous and repetitive, thus less motivating students to learn actively. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach referring to the John Elliot model, which is implemented in two cycles, each including the planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 26 grade III students. Data were collected through oral examinations, interviews, and observations of teaching and learning activities. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' ability to memorize vocabulary after the application of the media-assisted differentiation method. In Cycle I, the average percentage of student and teacher activity achievement was 72%, with only 61.54% of students being able to reach the memory test passing standard. After the strategy improvement in Cycle II, the average student and teacher activity increased to 90%, while the percentage of students reaching the memory test passing standard jumped to 92.30%. This improvement demonstrates that the differentiation method, which utilizes learning media, provides more varied, engaging stimuli, and is tailored to each student's learning characteristics. The conclusion of this study is that the media-assisted differentiation method is effective in improving elementary school students' memorization of Arabic vocabulary. The implication of this finding is the importance of teachers implementing creative, adaptive, and media-based learning approaches to optimize Arabic language learning outcomes, particularly vocabulary mastery.

A 23-month-old female patient presented with red, itchy bumps, accompanied by intense itching, which caused the skin to peel from scratching. These symptoms began less than a month before the visit and worsened one week before seeking treatment. The fluid-filled bumps burst due to scratching, causing sores and peeling skin. The itching was constant and tended to worsen at night. The use of moisturizer by the patient's mother provided little relief. The onset of these symptoms coincided with a visit from the patient's mother's younger brother, a student at the Islamic boarding school (Santri), who was staying at the patient's home during the holidays. Less than a month later, similar symptoms began to be felt by the patient, her siblings, and both parents. The diagnosis was based on primary data obtained through a history taking with the patient's mother, a direct physical examination during a home visit, and completion of the family file and the patient's medical records. The patient, suspected of having scabies, was treated with 5% permethrin cream, applied as directed, and cetirizine to reduce the itching. Case assessments are conducted holistically, assessing the initial condition, process, and final outcome of each visit both quantitatively and qualitatively. Interventions include not only treatment but also comprehensive family education. This education includes an explanation of the etiology and transmission of scabies, the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene, and potential complications such as secondary skin infections due to scratching. The goal of this education is to improve patient and family compliance with therapy, prevent reinfection, and break the chain of disease transmission in the home environment. This approach is expected to not only reassure the patient but also raise family awareness of the importance of clean and healthy living practices as a long-term preventative measure.

The digital transformation in education has encouraged the adoption of computer-based tests (CBT) using video content, which demands stable and efficient network performance. This study aims to evaluate the performance of two queue management algorithms, namely Random Early Detection (RED) and Per Connection Queue (PCQ), in maintaining the quality of service (QoS) of school networks during online video-based examinations. A case study approach was applied using a real network topology in a school environment, and QoS parameters such as throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter were measured. The implementation was conducted using a MikroTik RB450Gx4 router configured with simple queue settings for each algorithm. The results show that PCQ provides more consistent performance under high user loads, achieving an average throughput of 56,482 bps and lower delay compared to RED. Conversely, RED performs better in scenarios with a small number of users. The study recommends using PCQ for networks with dynamic and dense user environments, while RED is more suitable for low-traffic conditions where latency stability is crucial. These findings offer practical guidance for managing bandwidth and improving the quality of CBT delivery in educational settings.

The study looks at fiscal federalism, which is the distribution of resources between federating entities so that they can carry out their constitutional duties. The goal of this study was to identify the fundamental imperatives of fiscal federalism for the advancement of the country. In Nigeria's new democratic environment, the relative roles of the federal government, state governments, and local government authority (LGAs) in providing public services have become one of the most crucial subjects of candid and heated discussion. Federalism, fiscal federalism, and development were conceptually explained from the outset, and it became clear that the principles of fiscal autonomy and integrity are critical to the survival and ongoing existence of a properly federating form of government. In order to ascertain how the federal arrangements affect the provision of basic services in four crucial areas, the analysis will make use of fieldwork conducted in six states and twelve LGAs. primary health care, primary education, clean water and sanitation, and local roads that connect communities to marketplaces, schools, and medical facilities. The paper, which was based on Buchan Fiscal Residuum Theory, attempted to accomplish the study's goal by balancing the value of the public services returned to individuals with the payments paid. According to the article, the conflicting problems and difficulties of fiscal federalism may manifest as a misalignment between the functions of the different levels of government and the sources of money. According to the paper's conclusion and recommendations, it is important to make sure that revenue allocation encourages state and local governments to increase internal revenue generation rather than relying only on funding from In order to clearly define the duties to be carried out by each level of government, the federation account and intergovernmental relations issues should be examined and respected.

The transformation of Indonesia’s educational evaluation system from the National Examination (UN) to the National Assessment (AN) is intended to improve education quality through a more comprehensive approach. This study examines the implementation of the National Assessment at SMA Negeri 21 Medan, with a focus on the disparity between the theoretical framework of formative assessment and its practical execution in the field. The research utilizes the discrepancy evaluation model with a qualitative methodology. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that although the National Assessment is designed as a formative evaluation, in practice, it is still regarded as a summative assessment disconnected from the learning process. The execution of the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) continues to be dominated by multiple-choice questions, restricting the comprehensive evaluation of competencies. Moreover, the use of assessment results for educational enhancement remains suboptimal due to reporting delays and the insufficiently diagnostic format of the reports. Key supporting factors for implementation include strong school leadership, adequate infrastructure, and collaboration among schools. However, several obstacles persist, such as a limited conceptual grasp, inadequate teacher training, and administrative and curricular constraints. This study suggests reinforcing teachers’ conceptual understanding, enhancing the feedback system for assessment outcomes, and fostering deeper integration of formative assessment principles into school learning strategies. By doing so, the National Assessment can be more effectively leveraged to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

Worm infections are a health concern in Indonesia and all other tropical nations. A number of species, including roundworms (Ascaris lumbricoides), whipworms (Trichuris trichiura), hookworms (Hookworms), Necator americanus, Ancylostoma duodenale, and Strongyloides stercoralis, are members of the Soil Transmitted Helminth nematodes. Children in elementary school are among the age groups most vulnerable to Ascaris lumbricoides. Without a clean and healthy lifestyle, an Ascaris lumbricoides infection might have major repercussions. Research on the correlation between Ascaris lumbricoides infection and total immunoglobulin E levels in primary school students is therefore required. This study uses a cross-sectional, observational analytical design. Children at Lifuleo Village's elementary schools served as the research subjects. The ECLIA method was used to assess total immunoglobulin E levels, and the Kato-Katz method was used to diagnose Ascaris lumbricoides infection under a microscope.
