Organizational psychology plays an important role in understanding individual and group behavior within organizations, particularly in educational contexts. Its application can help improve the effectiveness of educational institution management by strengthening key aspects such as work motivation, leadership, communication, and a conducive work environment. By understanding these aspects, educational organizations can develop more effective work systems, enhance the performance of educators, and create a positive and productive organizational culture. However, research on organizational psychology in educational settings remains fragmented and often focuses on specific variables separately. This limits a comprehensive understanding of how these factors interact to influence overall organizational performance. Therefore, a more integrative and comprehensive review is needed to synthesize previous findings. This study aims to review and synthesize existing literature on organizational psychology in educational organizations, with a particular focus on the roles of motivation, leadership, and work environment in improving organizational effectiveness. The findings are expected to provide a more holistic understanding and serve as a basis for developing strategies to enhance the performance of educational organizations in the future.

Multicultural competence refers to an individual's capacity to navigate and value the diversity within their environment. This skill is essential for all strata of Indonesian society, given Indonesia's diversity in ethnicities, cultures, languages, and faiths. Teachers occupy a pivotal role in fostering multicultural competency within society, as they engage directly with pupils on a regular basis. Teacher intercultural competency has three primary dimensions: knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Multicultural knowledge can be acquired through multiple avenues, including formal education, specialised training, or firsthand experience with varied populations. Multicultural education seeks to equip students with an awareness of the complexities of variety in society, enabling them to coexist amicably. The fundamental principles of multicultural education encompass equality, democracy, pluralism, and tolerance. Educators, as pivotal participants in the educational process, are anticipated to comprehend multicultural values conceptually and to incorporate them into everyday instructional activities. Consequently, the multicultural competency of educators may cultivate students who are not only academically proficient but also possess an inclusive mindset, value diversity, and are prepared to engage in a pluralistic society.

Islamic religious education at the Madrasah Diniyah level often relies on passive, one-directional teaching methods that reduce madrasah student engagement and long-term retention. This community service study aimed to improve the quality of Fiqh instruction at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Ishlah Kalirejo, Pasuruan, by implementing kinesthetic games, Small Group Discussion (SGD), and visual teaching aids within the framework of Kitab Mabadi’ Fiqhiyyah. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed through four participatory observation sessions, with visual documentation serving as primary data. The program was implemented in four thematic meetings covering funeral prayer procedures, tayammum, hajj simulation (tawaf), and najis classification. Findings indicate that kinesthetic games effectively reduced affective barriers and increased student focus, while the SGD model with a 1:8 mentor-to-student ratio enabled precise procedural correction for motor-based worship practices. The use of concrete teaching aids successfully transformed abstract Fiqh concepts into tangible, memorable knowledge. This study concludes that the integration of active learning methods, small-group mentoring, and visual media within traditional Islamic education settings can significantly enhance student engagement and comprehension. These findings offer a replicable pedagogical model for Madrasah Diniyah educators seeking to modernize instruction while preserving classical curriculum integrity.

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic educational philosophy in shaping religious moderation among the younger generation and to identify challenges in its implementation. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method through content analysis of relevant literature and academic sources. The findings reveal that Islamic educational philosophy has a significant role in promoting the values of tawazun (balance), tasamuh (tolerance), i’tidal (justice), and wasathiyah (moderation) as the foundation of moderate religious attitudes and behaviors. The implementation of these values is reflected through curriculum integration, inclusive learning processes, and the development of a supportive school culture that encourages mutual respect and diversity. Nevertheless, several obstacles still hinder its effectiveness, including narrow religious understanding, low levels of digital literacy, the spread of radical narratives in social media, and limited teacher competence in implementing moderation-based education. Therefore, strengthening religious moderation requires synergy among philosophical concepts, educators, families, communities, and the national education system.

Islamic education emphasizes the formation of disciplined character, which can be developed through habituation from an early age. This study aims to describe the process of forming students’ disciplined character through daily worship habituation at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Guppi Pagerlor 2. The school was selected due to its relatively small number of students and its structured and intensive worship programs. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the consistent and routine practice of daily worship contributes to the development of students’ discipline, particularly in terms of punctuality, compliance with rules, and responsibility. A structured guidance system, the role of teachers as educators, and the implementation of rewards and educational sanctions were identified as the main supporting factors. However, limitations in facilities and lack of family support remain challenges. Therefore, daily worship habituation plays a significant role in fostering students’ disciplined character and strengthening character education in the madrasah.

This study examines the dominance of mother tongue use in junior high school environments and its implications for the use of Indonesian as the language of instruction. The research is grounded in the sociolinguistic reality of multilingual Indonesian society, where students tend to rely on their first language in daily communication. The objective of this study is to analyze the factors influencing the dominance of mother tongue, its impacts on students’ Indonesian language proficiency, and its pedagogical implications. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review design, analyzing relevant scholarly sources published in recent years. The findings indicate that the dominance of mother tongue is influenced by linguistic, social, and psychological factors, including family environment, peer interaction, and limited Indonesian vocabulary mastery. The study reveals dual impacts: while mother tongue use facilitates comprehension and increases students’ confidence, it also potentially hinders formal Indonesian language development and leads to language interference. The study concludes that mother tongue should not be viewed solely as a barrier but as a potential pedagogical resource. The implications suggest that educators should adopt contextual bilingual strategies to optimize Indonesian language learning in multilingual classrooms.

Young people often respond to stress through maladaptive patterns such as self-blame, avoidance, emotional withdrawal, and catastrophic thinking. These responses may provide temporary psychological protection, but they can also weaken emotional regulation, resilience, and interpersonal functioning over time. This study examines how Plato’s concept of eudaimonia and Jung’s analytical psychology can be integrated to interpret and address maladaptive responses in youth. Using a qualitative conceptual design supported by exploratory survey data, the study develops an interpretive framework that connects Jungian self-awareness with Platonic virtue-based self-regulation. The survey findings indicate that self-critical and avoidant tendencies were common among respondents, suggesting that many participants struggled to manage stress in reflective and constructive ways. In response, the article argues that Jung’s emphasis on recognizing hidden emotions and inner conflict can deepen psychological insight, while Plato’s emphasis on reason, virtue, and moral formation can guide individuals toward more balanced coping. The study contributes a humanistic framework for youth stress management that links emotional awareness, ethical self-governance, and personal flourishing. It also offers practical implications for educators, counselors, and families seeking more integrative approaches to youth well-being.
