This study aims to explore the role of art in Islam by revisiting various books and references that focus on three main aspects: values, aesthetics, and ethics. In Islamic perspective, art is not merely about expressing beauty, but also serves as a medium to enhance one’s faith and morality, guiding humans to draw closer to Allah SWT. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a literature review method based on relevant scholarly sources and academic documents. The findings indicate that Islamic art is built upon the principles of tawhid (monotheism), morality, and spirituality, which provide a profound meaning to every artistic creation. In terms of aesthetics, Islamic art emphasizes not only physical beauty but also harmony, balance, and the magnificence of Allah’s creation. The ethical aspect functions as a guideline for artists to ensure that their works remain within the boundaries of Islamic law and serve as instruments of da’wah, education, and moral development. Therefore, Islamic art represents the synthesis of beauty, truth, and goodness that guides humanity toward worship and devotion to Allah SWT. This study concludes that Islamic art plays a vital role in strengthening spirituality, character, and the advancement of an Islamic civilization that is cultured, beautiful, and meaningful.

The Qur’an is not only a source of law and moral guidance for Muslims but also a manifestation of harmony between aesthetics and ethics that shapes human spirituality. This study aims to explore the integration of aesthetic and ethical functions in Qur’anic recitation (tilawah), examining the relationship between the beauty of voice and the nobility of character in articulating the divine revelation. Using a descriptive qualitative method through a literature study, the research finds that the aesthetic aspect is reflected in the application of tajwid, melodic arrangement (maqamat), vocal beauty, and rhythmic harmony. Meanwhile, the ethical aspect is expressed through sincerity, humility, respectfulness in recitation, and the embodiment of Qur’anic values in daily life. The findings reveal that true beauty in Qur’anic recitation lies not merely in the pleasantness of the voice or technical mastery but in the purity of intention and spiritual depth of the reciter. The integration of aesthetics and ethics serves as a crucial foundation for nurturing spiritual depth, moral character, and cultural appreciation of the Qur’an, particularly in the context of Islamic education and da’wah. Thus, reading the Qur’an with both aesthetic and ethical awareness is not only an artistic expression but also an act of worship that unites beauty, morality, and devotion to Allah SWT in a holistic manner.

The use of the veil at the Ushuluddin Faculty is analyzed as a religious practice that involves factors such as religious teachings, environment, and personal motivation. The factor of religious teachings is the main driver, with female students viewing the veil as a religious commandment that must be obeyed as a form of devotion to Allah. The Koran instructs Muslim women to wear the hijab by wearing a headscarf that can cover their head and chest, but there are different opinions regarding this. the verse. The proposed research method involves interviews and literature searches with a qualitative approach. The aim of this research is to analyze the opinions of ulama regarding Surah Al-Ahzab verse 59 and analyze the community's views regarding the veil and hijab at the Ushuluddin Faculty. As for students' views regarding the veil and hijab , some of them can accept the existence of women who wear the veil, and there are several groups of people who cannot accept women who wear the veil, because those who wear the veil close themselves off from society and are reluctant to interact with the social environment.

Education plays a crucial role in shaping the personality, morals, and spiritual values of students. In the Islamic perspective, education is not solely focused on the mastery of knowledge but also includes the cultivation of noble character, the strengthening of faith, and the enhancement of religiosity as a form of devotion to Allah Swt. Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren), as traditional Islamic educational institutions, have a strategic role in instilling these values through religious activities, the teaching of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning), and the habituation of virtuous behavior. Pesantren serve not only as centers of learning but also as institutions for character formation and spiritual development. However, the forces of globalization and modernization bring new challenges in the form of cultural, technological, and informational influences that often conflict with Islamic values. Therefore, pesantren are required to develop adaptive, innovative, and relevant educational strategies that align with contemporary needs without losing their Islamic identity. One effective approach is the implementation of Islamic counseling, a process of psychological and spiritual guidance grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah. Through this counseling, students are expected to strengthen their faith, enhance their religiosity, and develop moral resilience in facing the dynamics of modern life based on strong Islamic values.

Financial management includes and effective practices in managing financial resources. Good financial management includes understanding financial goals, financial planning and budgeting to manage expenses and income. However, MSMEs still have low knowledge of managing financial. This service aims to distribute aid help assistance to street vendors so they can manage their finances efficiently and help determine financial goals.  Good financial management provides a strong foundation for achieving individual or family financial goals. The methods used are location surveys, socialization of financial management and evaluation. The impact from this devotion activity is to increase their understanding of how to effectively manage finances, including daily recording of expenses and income. Through this activity, MSME players' understanding and awareness of the importance of good financial management can be increased.

The thesis entitled, "Analysis of the Impact of Worship Based on John 4:23 on the Spiritual Growth of the GBI Patuha Bandung Congregation."John 4:23 can provide the teachings of the Lord Jesus about worship and the extent of its impact on the spiritual growth of the congregation. The research aims to explore how worship in the context of church services affects spiritual growth, including heart transformation, spiritual renewal, and character development in Christ. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze the impact of worship based on John 4:23 on the spiritual growth of the congregation at Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) Patuha, Bandung. Data were collected through interviews with leaders, activists, and church workers, as well as direct observations in the field. The results show that worship, as described in John 4:24, is a vital aspect of the spiritual life of the GBI Patuha congregation. The church has undergone significant transformation by shifting its focus from teaching to worship, with the aim of deepening a personal relationship with God. Worship is not only an emotional activity but also a means to strengthen faith, renew the spirit, and shape Christ-like character in the lives of the congregation. Worship grounded in the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit positively impacts the church community, encouraging active service and devotion to God and others. The congregation experiences heart transformation and spiritual renewal, which strengthens their relationship with God. Furthermore, worship focused on God encourages the congregation to live in humility, love, and obedience, as well as increasing their enthusiasm for serving. Innovations such as providing digital worship platforms also extend the church’s reach and enhance congregational involvement. This study also recommends the development of more structured worship training to deepen theological understanding and correct worship practices according to biblical principles.

The digital era has brought profound transformations in religious life, creating both opportunities and challenges for the younger generation of Christians in maintaining their faith. The Toraja Church Youth Fellowship (PPGT) of the Buntu Masakke Congregation is one such community struggling to maintain the steadfastness of its youth's faith amidst the tide of globalization, the temptations of materialism, worldly positions, and the increasingly prevalent dynamics of interfaith romance. This reality drives the need for a faith training strategy that is relevant, contextual, and utilizes the potential of digital technology wisely. This study aims to implement an effective faith training strategy for PPGT through the use of digital media to produce church youth who not only unleash strength in faith, but also grow spiritually and are able to serve in creative and impactful ways in the modern era. This study used a four-month practicum method involving 22 active participants. Three training modules were implemented in stages: (1) Rooted in God's Word in the Digital Age, which encourages the use of Bible applications and digital devotionals; (2) Growing in Christ's Character Amidst Worldly Temptations, which emphasizes the values of integrity, faithfulness, and holiness; and (3) Serving with Creativity and Relevance in the Digital Age, which invites young people to produce digital content with spiritual value. The results of the study showed significant success, with 95% achieving “rootedness,” 80% achieving “growth,” and 86% achieving “serving.” In fact, 63.6% of participants experienced spiritual transformation and are now active as digital ministry drivers. These findings confirm that digital media, when utilized strategically and in harmony with Christian values, can be an effective tool in fostering the faith of the younger generation. Therefore, the church needs to develop a sustainable and contextual digital training model to strengthen the role of young people in current and future ministry.

This study aims to uncover the meaning of loyalty and sacrifice in the lyrics of the song "Sumpah dan Cinta Matiku" by Nidji through Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The analysis is conducted at three levels of meaning, namely denotative, connotative, and myth, to understand how song lyrics form emotional messages as well as ideologies in Indonesian popular culture. At the denotative level, a literal meaning is found regarding the pledge of loyalty and commitment of love between two people who are emotionally bound to each other. The connotative level displays emotional and cultural meanings in the form of a willingness to sacrifice and steadfastness in maintaining love, which is often depicted as a heroic and struggle-filled act. Meanwhile, at the mythical level, this song brings up the ideology of romantic love that is absolute, eternal, and demands unconditional sacrifice, as often found in love narratives in other popular media. Lyrics such as "Sumpah mati hanya kau yang kucinta" and "Meski badanku has become one with the ground, cintaku tetap hidup bagi bagi" reflect the cultural construction that true love must be proven by suffering, extreme loyalty, and even sacrifice of life. This meaning emphasizes that love is not merely an emotional connection, but a form of total devotion that cannot be shaken by any circumstances. This song indirectly instills the idea that love means being willing to lose everything, including one's life, to maintain that love. The results of this study indicate that these songs not only convey personal messages of love but also play a role in shaping and perpetuating the myth of love in society. This finding is reinforced by various previous studies that state that popular music plays a role as a medium for reproducing cultural values, particularly regarding idealized, sacrificial, and irrational love.

Moral education is the main pillar in shaping the character of children who have integrity, empathy, and have high moral awareness, especially in terms of filial devotion to parents. In the midst of the advancement of the times and the rapid development of technology, children face great challenges in maintaining noble moral values. The unstoppable flow of digital information often presents content that is contrary to family and religious values. Therefore, moral education is present as a systematic effort to instill good values in a sustainable and contextual manner with the development of the times. This study uses a library research approach to explore the role of moral education in shaping the character of children who are devoted to their parents. Data sources are collected from scientific journals, textbooks, and current academic articles relevant to the theme. The results of the study show that the formation of filial character is greatly influenced by the example of parents and teachers, habituation of positive behaviors such as good manners, worship together, and affectionate communication. In addition, the integration of moral values in the school environment, explicit curriculum policy support for character education, and the wise use of digital media are important factors in supporting the success of moral education. Furthermore, strengthening the school culture and the active involvement of the community in internalizing moral values also strengthen the moral education process. This study concludes that moral education cannot run in isolation, but must be the result of synergy between family, school, and community. Thus, children not only grow up as intellectually intelligent individuals, but also have emotional and spiritual intelligence that reflects an attitude of respect and love for parents. Strong moral education from an early age is a long-term investment for the formation of a generation with noble character.

The purpose of this study is to reveal the character education values of the superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, which have not been studied in depth before. The character research was selected with literature sources, and analyzed qualitatively. The discussion and analysis resulted in findings that Cristiano Ronaldo has several superior characters, namely: religious, honest, competitive, self-confident, professional, high work ethic, disciplined, love for the country, appreciate achievement, communicative, care for the environment, care for society, and responsibility. These character values make him a superstar who stands out both on and off the field. His religious devotion, honesty, and sense of responsibility reflect strong moral foundations, setting him as a role model for aspiring athletes and individuals seeking success. Ronaldo's competitive spirit and high self-confidence have helped him achieve excellence on the field, while his professional attitude and exceptional work ethic highlight the importance of dedication and perseverance in achieving success. Furthermore, his discipline in training and love for his country portray a deep commitment not only to his career but also to his community and country. Additionally, Ronaldo's appreciation for achievement, communicative nature, and care for the environment demonstrate that his character extends beyond personal success, as he values teamwork and the well-being of others. His contribution to various charitable causes and societal issues further establishes his role as a responsible individual who uses his fame and fortune for the betterment of society. These character values make him an ideal role model, both in the world of sports and in broader society. We recommend Cristiano Ronaldo's character values as a role model for those who hope for a successful career, and inspiration for the practice of Islamic education values, as they encompass integrity, hard work, and social responsibility.

Children in orphanages often face unique challenges in character formation due to limited educational stimulation and diverse social interactions, despite their basic needs being met. The interactive education model applied in the "Devotion in Action, Love in Education: Weaving Character with the Nation's Children" project focuses on a participatory approach through activities such as Story Telling, "Tree of Goodness," Ball Relay, and Water Balloon Volleyball. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing an interactive education model in the character development of children at Sabilul Muhtadien Orphanage in Plosokerep, Sananwetan District, Blitar City. The research method employed is a case study with a qualitative approach, reinforced by participatory observation and informal interviews with caregivers and children from the orphanage. The results indicate high enthusiasm from the children and positive responses from caregivers, signifying the program's success in instilling character values such as critical thinking, mutual cooperation, creativity, independence, and solidarity. The implications of this research highlight the importance of adopting dynamic and activity-based education models in efforts to shape children's character in orphanages, focusing not only on knowledge transfer but also on direct experience and holistic potential development. holistik.

Leadership in Islam, highlighting its ethical and pragmatic foundations. Good governance in Islam is deeply rooted in the principles of al-amanah (trustworthiness) and al-'adalah (justice), which are not only administrative norms but also moral and spiritual obligations. Leadership in Islam is understood as a sacred mandate carried out by the caliph, imam, and ulil amri, each of which has spiritual, moral, and executive dimensions. Prophetic qualities in the form of shidq (honesty), amanah (trustworthiness), fathonah (intelligence/wisdom), and tabligh (accurate delivery/communication) are ethical foundations that are inseparable from effective leadership. The qualifications of a Muslim leader are very diverse, ranging from faith, noble morals, justice, knowledge, courage, and devotion in public service. The way of government of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was inclusive and tolerant. The period of the Khulafaur Rasyidin (Abu Bakar, Umar, Uthman, and Ali) shows how government administration developed, even though it was full of challenges. This history proves that the principles of good governance in Islam remain strong, even in difficult times.

This devotions aims to assist small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) Dimsum Nyoo in determining pricing strategies based on market demand. The methodology used is a qualitative descriptive approach, based on observations and interviews with business leaders. The results of the study indicate that pricing strategies based on cost of goods sold (COGS) and market analysis can build customer loyalty. Despite fluctuating raw material prices, Dimsum Nyoo managed to maintain stable quality and prices, thus contributing to its growth. These results highlight the importance of adaptive pricing to support the sustainability of MSMEs in a competitive market.

This study examines the implementation of the Sigalovada Sutta as a form of ancestral devotion within the Nyadran Dauwang tradition practiced by the Buddhist community in Depok Hamlet, Java. Grounded in the understanding that religion and culture are deeply intertwined, the research aims to explore how Buddhist doctrinal values are actualized through local communal rituals and how these practices contribute to social cohesion, environmental stewardship, and cultural continuity. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with religious leaders, elders, and community members, and analysis of ritual documentation. Triangulation of methods and sources was applied to enhance the credibility and depth of interpretation. The findings reveal that Nyadran Dauwang consists of four interrelated components: communal cleaning of irrigation canals (Susuk Wangang), ritual journeys accompanied by offerings and food sharing, interfaith prayer gatherings, and Wayang Kulit performances. These practices embody key Buddhist values such as spiritual friendship, loving-kindness, compassion, ethical reciprocity, and collective merit-making, as articulated in the Sigalovada Sutta. The tradition also reinforces respect for ancestors, strengthens intergenerational bonds, promotes ecological awareness, and fosters harmony in a pluralistic religious setting. Rather than functioning as a rigid doctrinal text, the Sigalovada Sutta operates as a living ethical framework that guides communal life through culturally resonant forms. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that Nyadran Dauwang represents a contextualized enactment of Buddhist ethics that integrates religious teachings with local cultural heritage. This integration offers an important model for Buddhist religious education, cultural preservation, and community-based approaches to social and environmental sustainability.

The role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in schools is very strategic. The implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools with the independent learning curriculum requires service components that are accompanied by plans and implementations that have been integrated with strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. Quantitative research type with descriptive methods. Descriptive research is a study that tries to answer existing problems based on data. The population in this study were all classes VIII A to VIII F with a total of 265 students. The results of the study showed that the profile of Pancasila students at SMP Negeri 002 Jambi City was 83.33 or a good category. The description of the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character in the profile of Pancasila students at SMP Negeri 002 Jambi City was 84.64% or a good category. The description of the global diversity dimension in the profile of Pancasila students at SMP Negeri 002 Jambi City was 87.09% or a good category. The description of the mutual cooperation dimension in the profile of Pancasila students at SMP Negeri 002 Jambi City is 84.12% or a good category. The description of the independent dimension in the profile of Pancasila students at SMP Negeri 002 Jambi City is 75.79% or a good category. The description of the critical reasoning dimension in the profile of Pancasila students at SMP Negeri 002 Jambi City is 82.71% or a good category. Service-based leadership is a leadership approach that prioritizes devotion to others as the center of a leader's function. In the Christian view, this model is rooted in the example set by Jesus Christ who came to serve, not to be served (Mark 10:45). The concept of servant leadership emphasizes values such as simplicity, love, sacrifice, and moral responsibility towards those being led. This study aims to explore how servant leadership influences and shapes the formulation of vision and mission in the context of Christian organizations or ministries. Vision and mission not only function as strategic guidelines, but also reflect the calling and obedience to God's will. A Christian leader who adopts the principle of servant leadership will create a vision that focuses on the common good, spiritual growth, and empowerment of community members. Meanwhile, the mission is designed to manifest the love of Christ in real terms through actions and programs that have a broad impact. In this context, sensitivity to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, integrity in leadership, and the ability to motivate and support the development of others are needed. This study concludes that servant leadership from a Christian perspective not only functions well in organizations, but also strengthens the spirituality and unity of the body of Christ. Therefore, the formulation of the vision and mission resulting from the principle of serving not only reflects the direction, but also becomes a testimony of faith that lives in the community. Thus, servant leadership becomes a strong foundation in building a Christian organization that is relevant, impactful, and oriented towards the values of the kingdom of God, and is able to answer the challenges of the times with love, exemplary behavior, and sincere devotion and glorify God in service.

This devotion discusses the implementation of the Spatial Planning Policy (RTRW) in West Sumbawa Regency to support the development of strategic areas from an economic perspective. The RTRW policy serves as the foundation for the formulation of development programs, aiming to create efficient, effective, and sustainable land use. Using a descriptive qualitative research approach, this study highlights key factors in policy implementation, including communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The Results of dedication that although the RTRW policy has been implemented, various challenges remain, such as low public participation, limited human resources and budget constraints, and legal uncertainties in land use. Additionally, the complexity of the bureaucratic structure influences the effectiveness of RTRW policy implementation. This study emphasizes the need for improved communication between the government and the public, capacity building for human resources, and more balanced regulations to achieve sustainable development in West Sumbawa Regency.

Community service on financial literacy with the aim of changing the mindset and behavior of business actors in managing their businesses has been carried out. The community service method used is based on lectures and training on financial management; both in planning programs based on financial capabilities, implementing programs and evaluating programs that have been created. The results of the community service show that business actors, especially BUMDes Zansibar managers, have understood how to utilize the capital they have to plan superior BUMDes programs. In addition, with this community service they can make simple financial reports in reporting organizational performance as a form of transparency in organizational management.

This article discusses the transformation of the meaning of the altar from Hebrew tradition to modern spiritual life, highlighting the important role of the altar as a symbol of the relationship between humans and God. In Hebrew tradition, the altar serves as a physical altar for offering sacrifices, reflecting the sacrifice, purification, and spiritual commitment of the people of Israel. However, as time has progressed, the meaning of the altar has evolved into a deeper symbol that encompasses spiritual and emotional aspects. In a modern context, the altar is interpreted as a symbol of the human heart, a place where worship and devotion to God are performed wholeheartedly. This article also explores the application of altar values, such as devotion, humility, and service, in everyday life. Additionally, the concept of the altar is connected to universal interpretations that are relevant to various spiritual traditions. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a literature study approach, involving the collection and analysis of literature and biblical verses related to the altar. Thus, this article aims to provide a deep understanding of the essence of the altar as a spiritual element that remains relevant, universal, and applicable in daily life, while inviting readers to reflect on the application of the altar concept in their lives.

Based on the results of initial observations at SDQ Amirul Mukminin, there were 4 classrooms that had not been installed with electrical installations according to standards. The community service activity consisted of 3 stages, namely: (1) Preparation Stage; ((2) Implementation Stage; and (3) Evaluation Stage. This activity lasted for 6 days, from 6–27 July 2024.
