This research aims to evaluate the grand parenting approach and its influence on the character development of elementary school children. Grand parenting, which involves grandparents in the caregiving process, plays a crucial role in shaping children's values and attitudes. The methodology employed in this study is a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and observations to assess the interactions between grandparents and their grandchildren. The findings reveal that the parenting styles implemented by grandparents significantly contribute to the character development of children, which includes aspects such as moral values, discipline, responsibility, and social skills. Furthermore, the strong emotional bonds between grandparents and grandchildren provide a sense of security and support essential for character development. This indicates the vital role of older generations in supporting children's character education and the need for increased attention to intergenerational relationships within families. This study aims to optimize transportation costs at CV Herba Sedunia by applying the Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM). The research data include shipping costs, supply, and demand from two warehouses to five distribution regions: East Java, Central Java, West Java, DIY & Banten, and Outside Java. VAM was employed to determine an efficient initial solution for distributing 1,250 product units, resulting in a total transportation cost of IDR 18,150,000. The shipping allocation was designed based on a combination of the lowest shipping costs and warehouse supply capacity, maximizing distribution efficiency. This study demonstrates that mathematical approaches like VAM can significantly reduce operational costs while providing strategic flexibility to adapt to changes in costs or demand.

The aim of this research is to determine the level of public awareness Indonesian people regarding the importance of sharia insurance. Even though there is an increase in public interest in sharia insurance, with data showing a about 39% increase in comprehension between 2016 and 2020, the level of awareness is still relatively low. This results from a failure to comprehend the basic principles of sharia insurance, lack of access to effective education and outreach, and distrust of sharia financial institutions. This research found that the millennial generation shows greater interest in sharia insurance, However, many people still do not know the distinction between conventional and sharia law insurance. Therefore, more intensive efforts are needed to increase sharia financial literacy and inclusion through comprehensive education programs. This research recommends stakeholders to develop more effective strategies in increasing sharia insurance penetration and building public awareness about the importance of insurance in everyday life. Thus, increasing public awareness and understanding of sharia insurance is expected to expand sharia financial inclusion and provide broader benefits for society and the Indonesian economy.

The purpose of this study is to examine the elements that contribute to the Indonesian population's poor insurance knowledge. Even though insurance plays a significant role in offering financial security, public involvement is still minimal. This study highlights a number of important elements, such as a strong sense of communal solidarity, limitations in commercial communication, and inadequate financial literacy. People often rely on unofficial social assistance, which makes them believe that insurance is not necessary. Misunderstandings about the advantages of insurance are also a result of insurance firms' poor marketing strategies and lack of socialization. Data was gathered from a variety of pertinent literature sources using a literature review and qualitative analysis process. The results show that more successful teaching approaches that are appropriate for the local cultural context are required to improve public awareness and involvement in insurance. It is anticipated that this research will aid in the creation of programs and policies that will raise insurance literacy in Indonesia.

Stunting is a condition of impaired child growth due to chronic malnutrition during the 1,000 First Days of Life (HPK), affecting physical, cognitive, and social development. In Indonesia, stunting remains a major challenge, particularly among toddlers. Providing appropriate Complementary Feeding (MP-ASI) for children aged 6-24 months is key to prevention. This article discusses an educational program for stunting prevention through the development of MP-ASI menus in Saringembat Village. The program aims to increase community awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition through three main stages: determining MP-ASI menus, preparing educational materials, and conducting socialization and MP-ASI-making practices. The menus are divided into three age groups (6-8 months, 9-12 months, and over 12 months) using local ingredients such as catfish, spinach, and potatoes. The results show increased community understanding, the effectiveness of using local ingredients, and the success of hands-on practice. A final evaluation quiz indicated that most participants understood the concept of MP-ASI and stunting prevention. This program is expected to continue to help reduce stunting rates and create a healthier generation.

The maritime industry is facing a critical shift toward sustainability, particularly through the green shipping transition. This research was conducted to explore how maritime vocational programs are developing leadership competencies necessary to manage sustainable maritime practices. Previous studies have largely focused on technical skills, with limited attention to leadership development in the context of sustainability. This research aims to fill this gap by addressing the preparedness of maritime education in cultivating leaders who can drive the green transition. The study sought to answer key questions about how leadership competencies are integrated into vocational training and the extent to which sustainability is incorporated into maritime curricula. The analysis utilized a combination of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and qualitative interviews with 10 maritime professionals, lecturers, and graduates. The SLR identified key competencies and frameworks in sustainable leadership, while the interviews provided insights into the current state of maritime education. The results indicate that while sustainability is increasingly recognized, there are gaps in leadership training, practical exposure to green technologies, and industry collaboration. The findings suggest that maritime vocational programs must adopt a more integrated approach to leadership development and sustainability. By embedding sustainability across curricula and providing hands-on learning opportunities, educational institutions can better prepare future maritime leaders. This research contributes to improving maritime education by addressing the intersection of leadership and sustainability.
