Umbilical cord care is an important part of newborn care because the umbilical cord that has not fallen off has the potential to become an entry point for germs if not cared for hygienically. In the community, traditional umbilical cord care practices are still widely practiced and often do not comply with medical standards. This study aims to determine the effect of umbilical cord care education on cleanliness and duration of umbilical cord detachment in newborns in the Bongo 2 Community Health Center, Boalemo Regency. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The study sample consisted of 24 newborns selected using a total sampling technique. The intervention in the form of umbilical cord care education was given to the parents of the babies, then measurements were taken of umbilical cord cleanliness and duration of umbilical cord detachment before and after education. Data analysis was performed using a paired t-test or Wilcoxon signed-rank test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed an increase in umbilical cord cleanliness after education, with a p value = 0.001. In addition, the average duration of umbilical cord detachment decreased significantly after education, with a p value = 0.000. This study concludes that umbilical cord care education has a significant effect on improving hygiene and optimizing the duration of umbilical cord removal in newborns.

Emesis gravidarum is a common condition experienced by pregnant women during the first trimester and can negatively affect maternal comfort, nutritional intake, and overall pregnancy well-being. Various biological and psychosocial factors are believed to influence its occurrence, including pregnancy interval and the level of family support. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between pregnancy interval and family support with the incidence emesis gravidarum among first-trimester pregnant women. A quantitative analytic study with cross-sectional design was conducted involving 30 pregnant women in their first trimester. Data were collected using structured questionnaires to assess pregnancy interval, family support (emotional, informational, instrumental, and appraisal support), and the incidence of emesis gravidarum. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS, including univariate analysis to describe respondent characteristics and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test to determine the relationships between variables, with a significance level set at p < 0.05. The results showed that short pregnancy intervals were significantly associated with a higher incidence of emesis gravidarum. In addition, pregnant women who reported low levels of family support were more likely experience moderate severe emesis gravidarum compared to those receiving adequate support. Statistical testing confirmed that both pregnancy interval and family support had significant relationship with the occurrence of emesis gravidarum. In conclusion, pregnancy interval and family support are important factors influencing the incidence of emesis gravidarum in the first trimester. Strengthening family involvement and promoting optimal pregnancy spacing are recommended as part of comprehensive antenatal care to reduce pregnancy discomforts and improve maternal health outcomes.

Despite global efforts, maternal mortality remains a critical public health challenge. A major contributing factor is the delay in recognizing and responding to obstetric emergencies. A pregnant woman's awareness of potential danger signs and her subsequent proactive attitude toward early detection are considered pivotal in facilitating timely and life-saving healthcare access. This study was undertaken to investigate the direct correlation between the level of knowledge pregnant women possess regarding pregnancy danger signs and their attitude toward the early identification of maternal emergencies. This research utilized an analytic survey design, a cross-sectional approach. The study sample was drawn using accidental sampling, comprising 110 pregnant women. Data were collected via structured questionnaires and analyzed statistically using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The descriptive analysis revealed a positive outcome regarding knowledge: the majority of participants (70) demonstrated a sufficient level of knowledge about pregnancy danger signs. However, this did not translate into a desired behavioral disposition, as a majority of participants (40) simultaneously displayed a poor attitude toward the early detection of maternal emergencies. The inferential statistical analysis confirmed this disconnect: the Spearman Rank test yielded a calculated ρ-value (pcount) of 0.068, which was less significant than the critical ρ-table value (ptable) of 0.364. Crucially, the significance level(p=0.72) exceeded the predetermined alpha (α=0.05).The study concludes that there is no significant relationship between a pregnant woman's knowledge of obstetric danger signs and her attitude toward seeking the early detection of maternal emergencies.

Family planning represents a community-based effort to promote awareness and participation through delaying the age of marriage, regulating births, strengthening family resilience, and improving family welfare to achieve small, joyful, and prosperous families (Suriana et al., 2021). The government targets Couples of Reproductive Age (CRA) to reduce population growth in Indonesia, as CRA consists of legally married couples who actively engage in sexual relations that may result in pregnancy. In addition to CRA, postpartum mothers also serve as a key target group in family planning programs. The “Four Too” components contribute to high-risk pregnancies that may lead to complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, and maternal and infant mortality. These include being too young (under 20 years), too old (over 35 years), too many children (more than four), and too close birth spacing (less than two years) (Oktarina, 2022). This study employed a quantitative research design, specifically an analytical quantitative approach with a correlational design using the cross-sectional method. The sample consisted of 40 participants. The results show that 45% of respondents had a satisfactory level of knowledge about IUD contraception, 32.5% had a moderate level, and 22.5% had a low level of knowledge. In nursing practice, increasing knowledge about contraception—particularly IUD family planning—can enhance interest in its use. Moreover, the study recommends that husbands provide support for mothers in using IUD contraception.

Femoral fractures resulting from road traffic accidents (RTAs) are a major cause of morbidity in developing countries, particularly among economically active young adults. Despite the increasing rate of RTAs in Nigeria, there is a lack of localized data concerning the radiographic distribution and epidemiological characteristics of femoral fractures. This study provides region-specific baseline data for clinical decision-making and public health interventions. A retrospective descriptive study was conducted using patient case notes and radiographic records of 141 individuals with femoral fractures resulting from RTAs, presented at Erichris Diagnostic Centre, Benin City, between January 2019 and December 2022. Radiographs were evaluated to determine fracture location (proximal, middle, or distal third). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 20, and results were presented using descriptive and inferential statistics. Associations between fracture type, age, and gender were examined using Chi-square tests with significance set at p < 0.05. The majority of patients were males (87.2%) and within the 16–30-year age group (72.3%), with a mean age of 31.6 years. The right femur was affected in 55.3% of cases. Middle third femoral shaft fractures were the most prevalent (63.8%), followed by proximal (26.3%) and distal fractures (9.9%). There was no statistically significant association between gender and fracture type (p > 0.05) or between age group and fracture type (p > 0.05). This study demonstrates a high incidence of middle shaft femoral fractures among young adult males due to RTAs in Benin City. These findings highlight the urgent need for targeted road safety policies, improved trauma care infrastructure, and preventive strategies directed at high-risk groups. The data provided serve as a critical reference for orthopedic management and public health planning.

This study aims to examine the role of life cycle and bio-accounting in achieving sustainable broiler chicken production and to analyze whether environmental intelligence moderates these relationships. The life cycle approach is viewed as a comprehensive method for assessing resource efficiency, waste management, and environmental impacts throughout each stage of broiler production. Bio-accounting serves as a tool to measure and record biological aspects affecting livestock performance, feed consumption, emissions, and production efficiency. A quantitative method was employed through surveys distributed to small- and medium-scale broiler farmers. The results indicate that both life cycle and bio-accounting have a positive and significant effect on sustainable broiler production. Moreover, smart environmental strengthens these effects, as farmers with higher levels of environmental intelligence are better able to utilize bio-accounting information and life cycle assessments to manage resources efficiently and reduce environmental impacts. These findings highlight the importance of integrating life cycle analysis, bio-accounting practices, and environmental intelligence to enhance the sustainability of broiler production.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of internal control in the receivables audit process and evaluate its effectiveness in minimizing the risk of bad debts in a health center environment. Receivables, especially those originating from health services to JKN participants and general patients, can cause problematic receivables if not managed effectively. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation review during the audit by a public accounting firm. The results of the study indicate that there are still weaknesses in the internal control structure such as suboptimal separation of duties, an unintegrated receivables information system and a weak bad debt reserve policy. In addition, late payments by third parties and poor patient administration knowledge are also external factors that influence the high risk of bad debts. Therefore, improving the internal control system, implementing information technology and strengthening coordination with the guarantor are very important to reduce the risk of bad debts and increase accountability for financial management in the health center environment.

This study explores key antecedents of turnover intention among employees in the warehouse industry, with a focus on workload, work stress, and job satisfaction. Conducted at CV. Sejati Pati, the research involved 102 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. The study applied a quantitative approach, using a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed through multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS 27, including classical assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The results showed that workload and work stress have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, while job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect. In contrast, compensation and work environment were found to be statistically insignificant. Simultaneously, all variables jointly contribute to explaining 64.9% of the variation in turnover intention. These findings underscore the critical role of managing job demands and psychological pressure while enhancing employee satisfaction to reduce the likelihood of resignation. The research provides empirical insights for human resource management in high-pressure sectors, particularly warehouses, where operational continuity and labor stability are crucial. It also offers practical implications for developing targeted strategies to improve employee retention and foster a more resilient workforce in logistics operations.

This study investigates the impact of liquidity and profitability on firm value at PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk over the 2017–2024 period. Liquidity is measured using the Current Ratio, while profitability is represented by Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). Firm value is proxied by the Price to Book Value (PBV). A multiple linear regression model is employed, complemented by univariate and bivariate analyses to mitigate potential multicollinearity between ROA and ROE. The findings reveal that neither the Current Ratio nor ROA significantly affects PBV, with an R-squared value of 0.175 and an F-statistic of 0.5315 (p = 0.618). An alternative model incorporating ROE yields similar results. While the model satisfies the assumptions of residual normality (Jarque-Bera p = 0.654) and shows no indication of significant autocorrelation (Durbin-Watson = 1.458), its explanatory power remains limited. These results suggest that external factors—such as market sentiment and long-term growth expectations—may have a more substantial influence on firm value than internal financial indicators.
