Islam Nusantara is a religious concept in Indonesia characterized by moderation, inclusiveness, adaptability to local culture, and emphasizing tolerance. The implementation of these values in school religious practices has been inconsistent due to differing perspectives and rejection of local traditions. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of school religious traditions, analyze the implementation of Islam Nusantara values in these traditions, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and explain their impact on student character. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research location was Qurrota A'yun Elementary School in Purwakarta. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the Principal and Islamic Religious Education Teachers understand the concept of Islam Nusantara as a harmonious integration of Islam with local culture within the corridors of faith and sharia. Its implementation is realized through structured religious traditions (the culture of greetings, dhuha prayer, murojaah, etc.) that successfully integrate local wisdom. A significant impact is an increase in politeness, tolerance, religiosity, and respect for local culture among students. Supporting factors include school leadership and teacher-parent collaboration, while differences in understanding become obstacles that are overcome through intensive communication. The implementation of Nusantara Islamic values in school religious traditions has proven effective in shaping students' character to be moderate, tolerant, and respectful of tradition. Schools are advised to strengthen program planning with written guidelines and a measurable evaluation system to monitor character development on an ongoing basis.

This study aims to analyze various obstacles in Social Sciences (IPS) learning related to global issues that are increasingly influenced by technological advances, through literature study methods. Social studies has a strategic role in shaping students' understanding of social, economic, cultural, and political aspects, as well as fostering global awareness in the digital era. However, the effectiveness of social studies learning still faces a number of obstacles, especially low student interest because the material is considered boring, too theoretical, and less interesting than digital entertainment. In addition, less interactive learning methods, limited facilities, unconducive classroom environment, and lack of parental support also worsen the quality of learning. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study identifies several relevant learning strategies to overcome these constraints, including ProjectBased Learning, technology integration, and contextual approaches. These three strategies allow students to learn actively, critically, and collaboratively by relating social studies materials to global issues and real phenomena. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of social studies learning models that are adaptive to technological developments, as well as practical benefits for teachers, schools, and policymakers in creating social studies learning that is more interesting, meaningful, and relevant to the global challenges of the 21st century.

Early childhood education is a fundamental phase in the formation of children's character, literacy skills, and social skills. However, children's basic literacy skills in various regions of Indonesia, including Aisyiyah 2 Aimas Kindergarten, Southwest Papua, are still relatively low, exacerbated by limited learning media, conventional teaching approaches, and teachers' lack of understanding of inclusive education and positive discipline. This study aims to analyze the implementation of basic literacy training with inclusive education and its impact on improving teacher competence. The method used is a one group pretest in the context of community service, involving six teachers as subjects. The program is carried out through three stages: pre-training (observation, interview, and pretest), training (literacy materials based on the DUBT model—Listen, Speak, Read, Write; inclusive education; and positive discipline), and post-training (posttest, classroom observation, reflection, and mentoring). The results showed a significant increase in teacher competence, as shown by the increase in the average pretest score from 57.5 to 84.8 in the posttest. In addition, 83% of teachers are able to implement literacy practices such as reading picture stories, letter cards, reading corners, and dialogue interactions with children. Teachers also began to show acceptance of children's diversity and applied positive discipline without punishment. These findings show that inclusion-based literacy training is effective in improving teachers' pedagogical knowledge and practices. This research has a crucial objective to facilitate primary school (SD) teachers so they are able to effectively and efficiently integrate and present Social Studies (IPS) material enriched with the content of local wisdom. Local wisdom is defined as a treasure inherited through generations, encompassing in-depth knowledge, real practices, and fundamental values that have developed and been firmly held within the local community. This foundation makes the learning process not only informative but also highly relevant and meaningful for students’ lives. This article specifically highlights that the integration of values, culture, and knowledge sourced from the local area can produce significant positive impacts. These impacts include improving students' conceptual understanding of Social Studies material, fostering their active participation in the classroom, and honing essential critical thinking skills. Teachers are encouraged to use a contextual approach or a real-life-based approach, so the material taught feels close to the students' experiences and is easier to grasp. The values embedded in local wisdom will function as a strong bridge in understanding every material concept. Thus, the knowledge acquired by students does not only stop at the cognitive level (merely theoretical knowledge), but can also be implemented concretely in the form of real actions and behavior outside the school environment. This local wisdom-based learning approach will ultimately become an important connection that guides students to act appropriately, ethically, and solution-oriented in responding to various problems they face in their daily lives.
