The tradition of planting Tembuni (ari-ari) and preserving babies in Lampung culture is a form of local wisdom that still survives today, with a deep symbolic meaning as a hope for safety and happiness for newborn babies. This research aims to understand the meaning, spiritual values ​​and symbolism in the procession of planting tembuni and baby salvation. Qualitative research methods with an ethnographic approach were used through in-depth interviews with the community, traditional leaders and traditional birth attendants, as well as direct observation and literature review. The results of the research show that this tradition has a spiritual meaning that reflects a harmonious relationship with ancestors and nature, and is believed to have a positive influence on the baby's character as it is hoped that he will be a child who is respectful, not fussy, and has good luck in life. It can be concluded that this tradition not only contains spiritual and moral values, but also functions as social learning that strengthens the cultural identity and togetherness of the ultramodern Lampung community.

This study examines efforts to strengthen Islamic traditions at Ma'had Putri Nurul Hasan MAN 2 Probolinggo as an important part of building the character of religious, disciplined, and noble students. The Islamic traditions implemented include various routine activities such as studying the yellow book, dhikr together, reading the maulid, praying in congregation, and other daily practices. These activities are designed not only to strengthen students' understanding of Islamic teachings but also to create a spiritual environment that supports character formation based on Islamic values. With a qualitative-descriptive approach, this study describes in depth the implementation of Islamic traditions, the challenges faced, and their impact on the formation of students' characters. The results of the study show that strengthening Islamic traditions at Ma'had Putri Nurul Hasan not only succeeded in forming the religious character of students but also had a positive influence on their social and emotional lives. Traditions such as studying the yellow book using the bandongan and sorogan methods, as well as the integration of Islamic-based activities in the education curriculum, have been proven to be able to improve the discipline, responsibility, and social awareness of students. On the other hand, this study also found significant challenges in the implementation of Islamic traditions, including the influence of modernization and globalization that bring popular cultural values ​​that are less in line with Islamic teachings, limited infrastructure, and lack of family involvement in supporting Islamic education. This study concluded that despite facing various challenges, Islamic traditions at Ma'had Putri Nurul Hasan can remain relevant by adopting an innovative and collaborative approach. The use of digital technology, increasing teacher capacity, and strengthening synergy with families and the community are strategic steps that can support the sustainability of this program. This study not only contributes to the development of Islamic education in Indonesia but also becomes a model for other Islamic educational institutions in maintaining Islamic traditions as the identity and strength of the people in the modern

The transformation of traditional architecture into modern architecture in urban environments reflects a shift in the values, functions, and aesthetics of buildings in response to the ever-growing needs of society. Traditional architecture that is strong with cultural elements and environmental adaptation now faces major challenges with the emergence of modern architecture that is more minimalist, efficient, and prioritizes technology. This study aims to examine how traditional architectural elements can be maintained and integrated into modern architectural designs in urban areas, especially in an effort to maintain cultural identity and answer the need for sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings. The transformation of traditional architecture into modern architecture in urban environments is a complex and interesting process. This change occurs in response to the development of the times and technology. Traditional architecture has important historical and cultural values, but with the presence of modern architecture, there are changes in the form, materials, and functions of buildings. With this transformation, there is a change in the order of the urban environment Modern buildings built around traditional buildings create an interesting contrast and reflect a blend of the past and the present. This research aims to analyze how traditional culinary MSMEs in Karang Rejo Village, Langkat Regency, adapt to global and digital competition. The focus is on the production and marketing strategy of sweet potato tape, pulut tape and lemang. This qualitative research uses in-depth interview methods with MSME owners to find the challenges they face, the marketing strategies used, product innovations carried out, and the use of digital technology. The research concluded that MSME entrepreneurs are experiencing various challenges, including reduced demand due to changes in consumer tastes, difficulties in obtaining supplies of raw materials, limited digital marketing strategies, and intense competition with modern culinary types. Even so, the unique taste of traditional dishes is still loved, especially when it comes to special religious celebrations. The strategy includes improving product quality, various interesting innovations, as well as utilizing digital marketing via social media and attending culinary events. The results of this research show that to maintain the sustainability of traditional culinary MSMEs, good cooperation is needed between product innovation, application of technology, and support from the community and government.

Since the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) at the end of 2015, it should encourage all economic actors, including SMEs and Micro Enterprises, to improve themselves in order to improve the quality of production of both goods and services. If this is not done, then Indonesia will be an "soft" market for other ASEAN countries because Indonesia has the largest population (population size) in ASEAN, namely no less than 270 million people. SMEs and Micro Enterprises, which are the embodiment of people's economic democracy, will be very hard hit if the heavy flow of goods and services from various ASEAN countries invades the Indonesian market. Realizing this, strengthening (empowering) SMEs and Micro Enterprises is a necessity and necessity to be able to find a national identity that has comparative advantage and competitive advantage. This activity begins with identifying existing problems and then finding a method for solving them. The method used is by providing training and mentoring. The results that have been achieved are the ability of the Traditional Cake business to optimize its sales by using local raw materials. In this way, the Traditional Cake Micro Business "Puji Letari" can improve its capabilities in the field of production and business management. These outcomes are an indication of increased business empowerment.

The dance work entitled Malungunjei’s is a new work that develops the mangunjei movement motif in one of the Manduda dance motif movements. Malungunje’si comes from one of the names of the Batak Simalungun dance motifs, namely mangunjei. Mangunjei is a movement of both hands crossed in front of the chest and both hands on the left and right sides by turning the palms of the hands. The theme of this dance work is non-literal, because the presentation of this dance work is a development or exploration of the essence of the Mangunjei motif by utilizing intensity, large volume, and wide space for movement. Malungunjei's work is a group choreography consisting of three female dancers and two male dancers, a total of five dancers who will be composed in a large group composition and a small group by paying attention to the arrangement of parts. The costumes in this choreography use hiou material and the choice of colors is more on red, black and white, all three are colors used in every Batak Simalungun traditional activity. The dance music is formatted in MIDI with patterns resulting from the development of the Batak Simalungun gonrang. This work uses the exploration method as an initial part in developing the creativity of the creation process, improvisation to find movements by chance or spontaneously, composition to arrange the movements that have been obtained, and periodic evaluation and correction of the process.

Pada saat ini jamu yang awalnya hanya sebagai obat tadisional kini mulai berubah menjadi sebuah usaha industri yang terus berkembang. Industri jamu bisa dikembangkan di Indonesia karena  salah satunya didukung dengan adanya fakta bahwa banyaknya tanaman obat yang ada di berbagai daerah di Indonesia kurang lebih sebanyak 30.000 spesies dari jumlah total keseluruhan 40.000 tanaman obat yang ada di dunia. Pulau Madura menjadi salah satu pulau yang cukup terkenal dengan jamu tradisionalnya. Salah satu daerah penghasil jamu di pulau Madura yaitu ada di Kabupaten Pamekasan. Berdasarkan studi literatur yang dilakukan oleh penulis diketahui bahwa saat ini terdapat penurunan dalam sektor industri jamu yang salah satunya disebabkan oleh kurangnya minat dan motivasi masyarakat untuk meneruskan usaha jamu tradisional, adanya peratuan menteri kesehatan (PERMENKES) nomor 06 tahun 2012, kebanyakan pemilik usaha jamu pada saat ini sudah berusia tua dan tidak paham mengenai perkembangan digitalisasi yang bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perencanaan SDM dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pembuat jamu pada industri jamu tradisional di Kabupaten Pamekasan. Sehingga diharapkan nantinya penelitian ini akan dapat membantu industri jamu yang ada di Kabupaten Pamekasan dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya dan mempertahankan eksistensinya.

This study aims to explore the ethnomathematics concepts embedded in the traditional musical instrument Gordang Sambilan from Mandailing culture and how these concepts can be integrated into mathematics education. Gordang Sambilan, which consists of nine drums of varying sizes, serves not only as a cultural symbol but also as a rich source of mathematical elements, including arithmetic sequences in drum sizes and geometric shapes such as cylinders and truncated cones. This research employs a literature study method to collect and analyze data from various relevant references. The results reveal that Gordang Sambilan offers contextual learning opportunities through geometric analysis, such as circumference, surface area, and volume of cylinders. Integrating Gordang Sambilan into mathematics learning not only helps students grasp mathematical concepts more concretely but also strengthens their appreciation of local culture. Hence, leveraging ethnomathematics from Gordang Sambilan can serve as an innovative strategy in mathematics education while preserving cultural heritage amidst globalization.

Muhammadiyah as one of the largest Islamic movements in Indonesia has an important role in empowering women, especially through education and programs that support economic independence. This empowerment aims to increase the role of women in the social and economic development of society. This study aims to analyze Muhammadiyah's efforts in empowering women through various programs, such as education, skills training, and advocacy, and to spread the impact of these programs on women and society as a whole. The study uses a qualitative approach with literature studies and interviews. Relevant literature sources are described, while interviews are conducted with figures in Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah who are involved in women's empowerment. Muhammadiyah, through the Aisyiyah organization, plays an important role in improving women's welfare through education and skills. Despite facing challenges such as social stigma and violence against women, collaboration with other institutions and the use of information technology show significant potential in increasing women's participation and independence.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: 1) Untuk mengetahui peran industri rumahan alkohol sebagai upaya penguatan identitas daerah serta untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di desa Bekonang kabupaten Sukoharjo; 2) Untuk menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghambat di industri rumahan alkohol sebagai upaya penguatan identitas daerah serta untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di desa Bekonang kabupaten Sukoharjo; 3) Untuk menganalisis upaya pelaksanaan industri rumahan alkohol sebagai upaya penguatan identitas daerah serta untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di desa Bekonang kabupaten Sukoharjo. Bentuk penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Strategi penelitian ini menggunakan strategi studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini antara lain pemilik industri rumahan alkohol, masyarakat Desa Bekonang, dan Kelurahan Desa Bekonang. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dengan model model analisis interaktif. Hasil Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Industri rumahan alkohol di Bekonang, Sukoharjo, memperkuat identitas daerah dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan melalui tradisi, lapangan kerja, dan ekonomi desa; 2) Faktor pendukungnya adalah warisan budaya, bahan baku, keahlian, dukungan pemerintah, dan akses pasar. Hambatannya termasuk regulasi, persaingan, pemasaran, perilaku konsumen, serta keterbatasan modal dan infrastruktur; 3) Upaya pelaksanaan industri rumahan alkohol yaitu Kolaborasi pemerintah, produsen, dan masyarakat meningkatkan kualitas produk, pelatihan, dan memanfaatkan pasar.

Through this research, it is hoped that it will be possible to reveal how sagata has become an integral part of the life of the Saibatin community, as well as how this oral literature reflects the worldview, value system and social norms that have developed in this community. With a deeper understanding of sagata, this research also aims to highlight the importance of efforts to preserve oral traditions amidst increasingly rapid global changes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method using library research, which involves collecting coverage and research based on literature, which involves collecting information and research through library references, such as books, scientific journals and other reliable sources related to Sagata as an oral tradition. This oral tradition includes several cultural aspects including folklore, folk tales, traditional songs, and other oral literature. Sagat can also contain stories about the origins of a place, heroic stories, myths or history. Oral tradition is a step that needs to be preserved and passed on the knowledge, cultural norms and identity of the Lampung people.

This research is motivated by the problem of the lack of community participation in developing marine ritual traditions, as well as the limited sources that prove the importance of the annual marine ritual. This type of research is historical research with a qualitative approach and descriptive narrative method. This research includes heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and writing stages. Data sources used include journals discussing marine ritual traditions in Pelanduk Village, Mandah District, as well as annual observations before the month of Muharram, in-depth interviews with people in charge of marine rituals, and literature studies. The marine ritual tradition in Pelanduk Village is a cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation by coastal communities in Mandah District, Riau Province. This ritual is carried out as an expression of gratitude to God Almighty and respect for the sea as a source of life. This study aims to explore the history, implementation process, meaning, and role of marine ritual traditions in the lives of local communities. The results show that marine rituals contain strong spiritual, social, and ecological values. This ritual involves various cultural symbols, such as offerings, collective prayers, and traditional ceremonies that reflect the harmonious relationship between humans and nature. This study concludes that sea rituals are a cultural heritage that strengthens the identity of coastal communities.

Traditional markets and supermarkets offer unique shopping experiences. Changes in shopping patternsreflect the complexity of social and economic dynamics. This study aims to understand the impact of consumerneeds and product quality on shopping preferences in the traditional market of Pesing Koneng, West Jakarta,benefiting academics, practitioners, and policymakers. The study employs an associative quantitative approachwith 96 respondents and questionnaires as research instruments. The analysis results indicate a positive influenceof consumer needs and product quality on shopping preferences. It is important to note that this analysis wasconducted solely in one traditional market without considering other variables or moderators that could affectshopping preferences more comprehensively.

This research aims to analyze one of the traditional arts, namely the Bongbang dance in the Ruwat Desa tradition. The problem raised in this research is the meaning of the Bongbang dance. This research uses a qualitative method with a semiotic approach, namely the researcher tries to find or analyze symbols or signs in the text systematically. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the Bongbang dance has four songs, namely Papalayon, Deungkleung, Jaging and Renggong Buyut. Each of these songs has meaning from the sources of everyday life. The meaning of the Bongbang dance can be seen from its movements, namely when the hand is raised with five fingers, indicating that there are five pillars of Islam and the hand is raised with one finger, indicating that God is One.

This study examines the implementation of the Batar Manaik tradition, a corn-honoring ritual performed annually by indigenous communities, particularly during the corn harvest season. This tradition is not only a form of gratitude for the harvest but also embodies cultural values that strengthen social bonds within the community. The ritual process involves various parties, including farmers, clan leaders (fukun), and community figures, each with important roles and responsibilities. The execution of the tradition begins with a series of stages involving the use of cultural symbols, such as tied corn, chicken blood, and the traditional house (ai lotuk laran) as the center of the ritual. Every tool and material used in the ritual, such as torches and mats, holds deep symbolic meaning. Through this tradition, the community not only celebrates the harvest but also reinforces their cultural identity and spiritual connection with their ancestors and the surrounding environment. This research aims to uncover the significance of each element involved in the BatarManaik ritual and how community participation affects the preservation of this tradition in the modern era.

The community empowerment program through traditional panyaram cake-making training in Barbaran Village, Panyabungan Barat District, Mandailing Natal Regency, aims to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of housewives and strengthen community-based economics. Despite its potential, Barbaran Village faces challenges due to limited skills and access to training. The program is carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and mentoring. The preparation stage involves identifying targets, forming groups, and planning activities. The implementation phase includes practical training in making panyaram cakes, guided by experienced instructors. Finally, the mentoring stage provides participants with business tools and support in managing business administration. This program significantly improved participants' skills in producing high-quality panyaram cakes, attractive packaging, and understanding entrepreneurship, including business legality. It also boosted participants’ self-confidence and social solidarity, paving the way for new business opportunities and enhancing family welfare. By optimizing local resources, the program enables the women of Barbaran Village to establish panyaram cakes as a flagship product and compete in the local market. The program’s sustainability is expected to create local job opportunities, foster independent economic growth, and support the community's long-term development. This initiative highlights the potential of traditional culinary products to drive community empowerment and economic resilience.

Learning media are tools that assist in teaching and learning activities, helping teachers represent concepts that cannot be conveyed through words or sentences alone. Through a playful approach, this article proposes visual-based learning media in the form of a traditional game (cublak-cublak suweng) in an engaging and enjoyable manner for students. The article discusses the benefits of the traditional game (cublak-cublak suweng) as a learning resource. By combining conventional learning with elements of play, this method is expected to increase students' interest in learning media and deepen their understanding of fundamental scientific concepts. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The methodology aims to gain a deeper understanding of visual-based learning media in the form of the traditional game (cublak-cublak suweng). In this study, the researcher used several data collection techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation.

Tarawangsa is a traditional musical instrument from West Java that has distinctive sound characteristics and is often used in various traditional ritual ceremonies. However, in the modern era, the younger generation's interest in this cultural heritage has begun to fade due to the dominating influence of contemporary music. The purpose of writing this report is to explain the application of L Cut and J Cut editing techniques in the video feature Merangkai Tradisi dan Eksplorasi Modern Tarawangsa Sumedang and to introduce and preserve Tarawangsa music through collaboration with modern music that can attract the attention of the younger generation without losing its traditional essence. The method of creating this video feature includes three stages, namely the pre-production stage or designing and planning the work, the production stage or recording visual and narrative elements, and the post-production stage or editing and finalizing the work. The result of the application of these techniques is a video that is not only visually appealing, but also able to convey messages effectively about the preservation of Tarawangsa music. In conclusion, the use of L Cut and J Cut in the video feature Merangkai Tradisi dan Eksplorasi Modern Tarawangsa Sumedang can convey the message of culture, history, and preservation of the Tarawangsa Arts in a more dynamic and fun way.

Traditional Indonesian architecture is a cultural heritage that includes deep aesthetic, social and functional values. Limasan houses, as a form of traditional Javanese architecture, have become a symbol of cultural wealth and ancestral heritage that is rich in historical and philosophical values. Limasan houses can still be found in several rural areas, one of which is in Sojomerto Village, Kendal Regency, Central Java. Even though modern architecture has developed rapidly amidst rapid modernization, preserving Limasan houses faces various challenges, both from an economic, cultural and environmental perspective. The research used field observation methods, interviews with local residents, and literature study. The research results show that despite facing the challenges of contemporary developments, Rumah Limasan in Sojomerto still shows its existence as a cultural identity and reflects a balance between ancestral heritage and modern needs.

History learning based on local history makes a significant contribution to students' learning development because the learning process becomes more varied and enjoyable. The Tama Maus tradition among the Bana Bikomi people can be a part of local history used in the history learning process at school. In this study the author analyzes the Tama Maus tradition as learning material based on local history, which can introduce various knowledge about life during the kingdoms in Indonesia as depicted in the process of implementing the Tama Maus tradition.
