During the Covid-19 pandemic, almost all sectors were affected by the pandemic. Companies need strategies to be able to survive in the pandemic era. Public Relations is an important element in an institution and company, one of which is playing an important role in enhancing the company's positive image. This study aims to analyze and evaluate programs carried out by public relations at The Square Hotel in improving the company's good image in the pandemic era.Hotel The Square Surabaya is working with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) to carry out a vaccine package program and also a care tourism program. The purpose of this study is to analyze the two programs being undertaken by Hotel The Square Surabaya. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews.The results of the study show that the tourism care program and the vaccine package program are active strategies and apply stakeholder theory as a form of enhancing the company's positive image. Hotel The Square is also trying to carry out these activities in accordance with the program planning that has been done.

The main purpose of the hotel industry is as a means of accommodation for temporary accommodation for guests who come from various places and places to conduct business meetings, seminars, wedding receptions, workshops, national meetings and other activities. In addition, the role of the hospitality industry is very helpful for tourists who are visiting to travel with lodging services provided by hotels. To compete in the hotel industry requires a strong management structure, especially in terms of controlling operational costs. Therefore, the company needs a cost control. Cost Control is one component to support the running of business activities in hotel companies. The role played by the cost controller is inventory, supervision and control of hotel spending costs to achieve.

The main objective of the hospitality industry is as a means of accommodation for temporary accommodation for guests who come from various places. In competing in the hotel industry, a strong management structure is needed, especially in the human resources (HR) department. The implementation method is carried out through the dedication and assistance method in the Human Resource Development (HRD) and Engineering Administration departments. The results obtained show that the role of the Department of Human Resource Development (HRD) and the Department of Engineering in the hotel industry is an effort to improve the performance and quality of the performance of its employees because they play an important role in the hospitality industry, which aims to increase the productivity of the company's work, because a company can to develop and progress, of course, not only due to capital factors and a strong business strategy, but also great human resources (HR) and also fixing facilities if something is damaged or has an error.

This article reviews and attempts to confirm the marketing management strategy for sustainable tourism destinations. In the marketing management of tourism destinations, it is necessary to carry out good planning that involves the role of the central government, regional governments, the private sector, business actors and the surrounding community. In planning it is necessary to carry out an analysis, namely: (a) Analysis of the macro environment which includes the political, economic, social, legal and cultural environment;,(b) Analysis of the microenvironment including producers, supplier, competitors, tourists and community; (c) Competitor analysis including similar tourits destinations, and (d) Market analysis, namely the potential of tourists and the tourist market.  The marketing strategy consists of analysis, development, implementation and evaluation of activities in the development of tourist destinations. Likewise in the development of sustainable tourism management there are several aspects that need to be considered, namely; (a) Aspects of the attractiveness of tourist attractions; (b) Access to tourist spots; (c) Main and supporting facilities such as hotels, restaurants and others; and (d ) Institutions such as travel agents, travel agents, tours guides and others.

In business, companies compete with each other in their own way to get big profits. Companies in the tourism, restaurant and recreation sector are companies that have an impact on the company's financial performance and profitability. The variables used in this study are profitability ratios in the form of Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) as well as financial performance. This research uses quantitative methods. The sample used is 10 tourism, hotel and restaurant sector companies. The results of this study show that the ROA and ROE variables have a partial and significant effect on financial performance variables. The R-Square result is 0.3048 so that it can be interpreted that 30.48% of the ROA and ROE variables can explain the Financial Performance variable and the remaining 69.52% can be explained by other variables outside the research.

The increasing development of Ciater hot spring tourism in Subang Regency has encouraged the management to build resort hotel facilities. The design of this project refers to ecotourism principles. The design area is 47,000 m 2 consisting of 23 villa units, supporting facilities and recreational facilities. This project was designed by raising three main issues, namely environmental issues, privacy, and atmosphere. These three issues are then elaborated into the main concept, namely Tranquil Coexistence of Nature and Architecture which means harmony between architecture and its environment. The beautiful scenery of the mountains of West Java and the sloping contours of the land are a reference for laying out the mass composition and zoning on the site. The arrangement of masses in the eco-resort area is made natural by avoiding angles and symmetrical geometries. The concept of an open mass and roof form adapted from Sundanese architecture is a reference for spatial planning and building masses in villa facilities and public facilities using local materials. As an effort to reduce degradation of environmental quality in Ciater, the design of the site utility was made using a water sensitive landscape design approach in which the water element will be recycled and reused on the site. The results of this eco-resort design are expected to be able to contribute to environmental preservation, increase the tourism potential of Ciater hot springs, and increase the welfare of the surrounding community in line with the increasing number of visitors who come.

Akomodasi merupakan orientasi sosial yang bermakna keutuhan sosial demi menjauhi serta mendamaikan kegentingan, pertikaian yang saling berkaitan. Seumpama bentuk kegiatan akomodasi yang bermanfaat mempersiapkan perlengkapan guna melengkapi keperluan. provinsi jawa barat terdapat tempat wisata yang ramai dikunjungi oleh wisatawan nusantara dan mancanegara oleh sebab itu pengunjung menggunakan fasilitas akomodasi yang tersedia di setiap daerah, wisatawan nusantara ramai menginap di villa sedangkan wisatawan mancanegara lebih memilih hotel berbintang. Penelitian ini memfokuskan bagaimana pengelompokan wisatawan daerah wisata akomodasi dan jenis wisatawan terbanyak yang ramai berkunjung menggunakan algoritma k-means, analisis ini memakai metode Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD). Teknik pengumpulan data atau pengumpulan data bersumber dari Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Dengan tujuan kiranya menjadi pengetahuan untuk wisatawan serta mampu mempublikasikan wisata di media sosial dan diharapkan akan lebih meningkat jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung dan meningkatnya pembangunan sarana dan prasarana di setiap daerah akomodas.Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa daerah akomodasi yang ramai dikunjungi adalah Kota Bandung dengan jenis wisatawan yang datang yaitu pengunjung  dalam negeri (Nusantara).

The research as aims to determine the work motivation of employees of the Arborbiz Makassar Hotel.The type of reseach used is descriptive qualitative, that is, the author describes the results of direct observtions and interviews with employees of the Arborbiz Makassar Hotel. The writing of this final draft is the results of research conducted from June to July 2022. The results showed that the work motivation of employees of the Arborbiz Makassar Hotel was perceived from several factors that influenced work motivation of employees, such as promotions, job performance, the job itself, rewards, responsibilities and recognition from superiors. These things have an increasing impact on work motivation for employees who work at the Hotel Arborbiz Makassar, thereby encouraging employees to work better and more effectively.

Room Attendant adalah jabatan di dalam departemen housekeeping yang bertugas untuk membersihkan kamar dan memperhatikan kerapian dan kelengkapan kamar sebelum digunakan oleh tamu hotel. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peran Room Attendant dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kepada tamu di The Alana Hotel & Convention Center Solo. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 5 staf dan 5 tamu dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Data yang diperoleh menyatakan bahwa peran petugas kamar yang meliputi peran, peningkatan pelayanan serta kendala & solusi sudah baik, dibuktikan dengan wawancara bahwa sebagian besar tamu merasa puas. Dari hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran Room Attendant di The Alana Hotel & Convention Center Solo sudah cukup baik meliputi peran, peningkatan pelayanan, serta kendala & solusi.

Hotel tax is one of the regional taxes that contributes to PAD which has a fairly large contribution to PAD sources. The basis for imposing Hotel Tax is the amount paid or should be paid to the hotel. The Hotel Tax Rate is set at 10% (ten percent). The principal amount of Hotel Tax payable is calculated by multiplying the rate by the tax base. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the government to work more in tackling the disease outbreak and its effects. The policies taken by the government will certainly have a certain impact on the community and will also have an impact on several PAD sectors which result in a decrease in revenue. Increasing local tax revenue certainly requires effectiveness and efficiency efforts. The level of efficiency is also a necessary part of increasing local tax revenues. This efficiency can be related to the expenses that will be incurred, which need to be carried out to a minimum to achieve the target of local tax revenue within a period. This study uses a quantitative descriptive analysis method with a combined panel data regression analysis between cross section and time series, with the aim of analyzing the effect of the level of effectiveness, contibution, and the level of efficiency of hotel tax revenue on the Regional Original Income of the Province of Bali in 2016 - 2020. The results show that the variables of the level of effectiveness, contribution, and hotel tax efficiency together (simultaneously) have an effect on local revenue of  98.13% and 1.87% are contributions from other variables not discussed in this study.

Penelitian yang dilakukan akan dilakukan terhadap petugas receptionist Hyndham Opi hotel ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang berawal dari sebuah gagasan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang utuh dan menyeluruh dalam mengungkap fakta, situasi, fenomena, kemampuan secara individu bagi petugas receptionist yang bersinggungan langsung dengan tamu dalam meningkatkan layanan utamanya kemampuan berkomunikasi atau speaking ability yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing pertugas receptionist hotel Wyndham kabupaten Banyu Asin Sumatera Selatan. Penilian kemampuan individu mengacu pada tingkatan kemampuan berbicara secara individu berdasarkan tiga tingkatan, yakni basic, intermediate dan advanced (tingkat kemampuan pemula, cakap dan mahir) berdasarkan standar CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference. Hotel Wyndham, yang merupakan hotel berbintang 5, tentu harapannya memiliki petugas receptionist dengan kemampuan minimal pada level cakap atau intermediate yang dapat merespon permintaan tamu atau menangani keluhan tamu secara langsung sehingga dapat melayani tamu dengan kemampuan berkomunikasi yang baik bagi semua petugas receptionist yang berada dalam sebuah departemen Front Office dalam manajemen hotel, khususnya hotel berbintang.

Kemampuan untuk memberikan pelayanan prima, konsep suasana yang nyaman dan menarik serta upayamenciptakan kepuasan absolut dari pengunjung adalah bagian penting yang harus direalisasikan dalam bisnis hotel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kesenjangan antara kepentingan dan kinerja dari atribut-atribut kualitas layanan, kepuasan pengunjung pada Wing Hotel Kualanamu. Responden dalam penelitian ini 98 orang karyawan Wing Hotel Kualanamu. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data berupa importance performance analysis. Pada analisis IPA untuk penilaian berdasarkan kualitas pelayanan, penilaian harapan dilakukan oleh tamu yang menginap di Wing Hotel Kualanamu sedangkan penilaian kinerja karyawan dilakukan oleh General Manager Wing Hotel Kualanamu dengan merujuk pada 8 indikator, yaitu attitude, dicipline, loyalitas, inisiatif, speedity, work quality, responsible, dan skill and knowledge. Untuk penilaian berdasarkan posisi jabatan, penilaian harapan dilakukan oleh General Manager Wing Hotel Kualanamu sedangkan penilaian kinerja karyawan dilakukan oleh Head of Department. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Karyawan yang memerlukan penanganan yang perlu diprioritaskan oleh pihak Wing Hotel Kualanamu dalam hal peningkatan kualitas pelayanan di tahun 2020 ada 6 profesi dan pada tahun 2021 ada 9 profesi; (2) Karyawan yang perlu mempertahankan kinerjanya pada tahun 2020 ada 9 profesi Executive Chef, Steward, Security Crew, Chief Accounting, IT, HRD, HRGA, General Adm, Leader Gardener dan pada tahun 2021 ada 11 profesi; (3)Karyawan dengan kinerja rendah dan tingkat prioritas pekerjaan rendah pada tahun 2020 ada 7 profesi dan pada tahun 2021 ada 6 profesi; (4) Karyawan dengan tingkat kepentingan yang rendah, namun tingkat kinerja tinggi pada tahun 2020 ada 9 profesi dan pada tahun 2021 ada 10 profesi.

Sepakbola sangat digandurungi seantero dunia, terlebih saat ada Piala Dunia, jutaan pasang mata siap menikmatinya. Melalui kajian filosofis, penelitian menyimpulkan : turnamen Piala Dunia FIFA 2022 di Qatar merupakan ekspresi ruang bagi tuan rumah untuk mempresentasikan wajah Islam yang penuh kesejukan. Posisi tawar sebagai penyelenggara dimanfaantkan untuk mengklarifikasi bahwa Islam yang selama ini dipersepsikan dunia Barat melekat dengan berbagai aksi kekerasan dan terorisme, dibantah dengan realitas melalui wajah sejuk Islam, meliputi : Opening Ceremony nuansa Islami, standart kesopanan suporter, mural hadis wajah sejuk Islam, area shalat dekat stadion, Quick response Code Islam di hotel, layanan informasi Islam, pameran benuansa Islam, muazin bersuara merdu, berbagi makanan gratis, memakaikan jilbab turis wanita, larangan minuman beralkohol, larangan simbol LGBT, dan larangan aktifitas perjudian. Lewat Piala Dunia, Qatar memperjuangkan posisi tawar dihadapan FIFA, membuktikan keindahan agama Islam dan sekaligus meruntuhkan stigma Barat. Implikasi penelitian, bahwa umat Islam mesti mempunyai posisi tawar didepan dunia Barat, agar tidak disalah pahami tentang ajarannya yang menentramkan dan damai. Promosi kesejukan Islam bisa melalui banyak pintu seperti telah dilakukan oleh Qatar.

PT A reduced the amount of garbage that accumulates in the final disposal site (TPA) by reprocessing the waste produced by the community. The existence of waste banks, government agencies, hotels, zoos, and Islamic boarding schools is one of the sources of waste that is processed for waste products. This paper seeks to develop the concept of a digital supply chain by adopting the supply chain model run by PT A. The initial identification presented in this paper can result in several technology identifications that need to be prioritized in implementing relevant technologies in the industry. The expected impact of this implementation is an increase in supply chain performance

JW Marriott hotel Surabaya is one five star hotel to give product and quality service excellence to customer. The price is to give JW Marriot hotel Surabaya suitable product and service customer. JW Marriott hotel Surabaya to give special rate promotion and member facilities to customer and repeater guest hotel too. JW Marriott hotel have strategic location because there are centre of city to business, shopping centre, office centre and transportation. The expected outcome of this research is the known of the factors variable product, service, price, and location that affect customer satisfaction on JW Marriot hotel is simultan and parcial.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis “Pengaruh Kompetensi, Kompensasi, dan Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada Hotel Wimarion Semarang.” Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kusioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sensus. Sampel sebanyak 54 responden merupakan Karyawan Pada Hotel Wimarion Semarang. Berdasarka hasil penelitian, dihasilkan bahwa variabel kompetensi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini ditunjukan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t table yaitu 2,250 > 1,675, dengan nilai sig. Sebesar 0,029 > 0,05 serta koefisien regresi (β1) bertanda positif sebesar 0,218 dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi kompetensi yang dimiliki maka akan semakin tinggi kinerja karyawan. Jadi hipotesis terbukti. Variabel kompensasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini ditunjukan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t table yaitu 2,264 > 1,675, dengan nilai sig. sebesar 0,011 < 0,05 serta koefisien regresi (β2) bertanda positif sebesar 0,280 dapat diartikan bahwa semakin memuaskan kompensasi yang diberikan maka akan semakin tinggi kinerja karyawan. Jadi hipotesis terbukti. Sedangkan variabel lingkungan kerja non fisik berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini ditunjukan nilai t hitung lebih besar t tabel yaitu 4,437 > 1,675, dengan nilai sig. Sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 serta koefisien regresi (β3) bertanda positif sebesar 0,471 dapat diartikan bahwa semakin baik lingkungan kerja non fisik karyawan maka akan semakin tinggi kinerja karyawan. Jadi hipotesis terbukti.

Pajak daerah dan Retribusi daerah merupakan sumber terbesar dalam Pendapatan Asli Daerah. Pada saat pandemi Covid-19 terjadi di Indonesia, Pajak daerah dan Retribusi daerah mengalami penurunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19 pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah terhadap pendapatan asli daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 145 Kabupaten/ Kota. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa beberapa data laporan keuangan daerah di tahun 2018 sampai tahun 2021. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji asumsi klasik. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis uji komparatif atau uji T. Sedangkan untuk  mengetahui pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah terhadap PAD dilakukan analisis kontribusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara pajak hotel, pajak restoran, pajak hiburan dan retribusi daerah terhadap PAD, sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,016; 0,008; 0,000 dan 0,000. Sedangkan pada pajak reklame terhadap PAD tidak memilik perbedaan sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19. Analisis ini hanya dilakukan di beberapa Kabupaten/ Kota di Pulau Jawa.
