The Book of Psalms is an important part of the Old Testament worship and theology tradition, reflecting the dynamics of human emotions in their relationship with God. Psalms 146-150 specifically highlight aspects of prayer and praise as expressions of joyful and hopeful faith. This study aims to interpret theologically how these five psalms describe the emotional response of believers to the work and character of God. With an exegetical and biblical theological approach, this study finds that Psalms 146-150 form a climax in the structure of the Book of Psalms, emphasizing the supremacy of praise as the primary form of worship. In addition, this study highlights how the emotional aspects of these psalms function not only as a reflection of individual faith experiences but also as a collective appeal for the community of believers. Thus, Psalms 146-150 emphasize that prayer and praise are the primary means of expressing the relationship between humans and God, while inspiring a spiritual life centered on worship.

This article explains about Deborah's leadership as reflected in the narrative with Barak in the Book of Judges chapter 4 verses 1 to 24. Deborah was a woman chosen by God to lead the Israelites against the oppression carried out by King Jabin and the army under the leadership of Sisera. In this story, Deborah shows that a true leader must have strong faith, courage in making decisions, and wisdom in giving guidance. Although Barak had doubts at first, he eventually obeyed Deborah's orders with the belief that God would give him victory. Deborah's leadership teaches us that a leader does not only depend on their strength or position, but also on obedience to God and the ability to collaborate with others. This article also discusses how Deborah's leadership principles can be applied in our lives today, both in the church, society, and the workplace. The main message is that good leaders are those who have faith, courage, wisdom, and the ability to build solid cooperation.

This study aims to examine the theological concept of Imago Dei (Image of God) and its implications for the lives of believers. The formulation of the problem includes three aspects: general understanding of Imago Dei, theological review of the concept, and its application in the context of contemporary Christianity. Using qualitative methods and descriptive analysis approaches, data were collected through a literature study of relevant theological sources. The results of the study indicate that humans, as creatures created in the image and likeness of God, have intrinsic value, dignity, and responsibility as representations of God in the world. Although this image has been damaged by sin, through the redemptive work of Christ as the perfect Imago Dei, the image can be restored. This restoration occurs gradually through the process of justification, sanctification, and glorification, which leads believers towards Christlikeness. This study emphasizes the importance of a theological understanding of Imago Dei as the basis for ethics, spirituality, and identity of Christians in a complex and pluralistic world.

This article aims to explain the theological relationship between Israel and the Church as God's people, as discussed in biblical studies, and to relate it to the history and development of the Church in Indonesia. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, this paper explores key theological concepts regarding Israel and the Church, examining how these understandings shape the Church’s mission, identity, and role. The study spans from the colonial era to the digital age, highlighting how historical and cultural contexts influence ecclesial expressions. The article argues that while the Church does not replace Israel as God's covenant people, it participates in God's redemptive plan through Christ. In the Indonesian context, the Church manifests its identity as God's chosen people by embracing local wisdom, cultural diversity, and a contextual mission. This dynamic relationship reflects the Church’s calling to live out its faith in Christ within a pluralistic society, contributing to nation-building and bearing witness to the Gospel in relevant and transformative ways.

This article examines the relationship between the Old Testament (OT) and the New Testament (NT) through a qualitative approach with a literature review method. The study aims to identify theological continuities and discontinuities between the two parts of the Bible as well as outline how the narrative of God's salvation develops from the OT to the NT. The analysis was conducted by examining various primary and secondary literature from theological scholars, biblical historians and commentators. The results show that despite differences in historical context and theological development, the OT and NT have an integral and complementary relationship, especially in terms of the fulfilment of prophecy, Messianic conception, and the unfolding of God's plan of salvation. The findings are expected to enrich the understanding of contemporary Christian theology and contribute to the dialogue between the OT and NT exegetical traditions.

Suffering is a condition where a person experiences pain or difficulty in living their life. Paul's words about "fulfilling what was lacking in Christ's suffering" raise the question that whether Christ's suffering on the cross was incomplete? And it is as if Christ's suffering was ineffective and limited so that redemption had to be completed or completed through Paul's suffering. However, Christ's suffering on the Cross was perfect, sufficient to atone for human sins and did not need to be fulfilled again. The thing that needs to be accomplished or fulfilled is suffering for the sake of preaching the Gospel, about Christ who was incarnated as a human, died as a ransom sacrifice and was resurrected from the dead. So everyone can know God through His power and resurrection. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The purpose of this study is first to "deliver a theological answer regarding the meaning of "filling up in my flesh what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ" Second, to provide an important meaning that every believer must truly live in Christ, because the perfect redemption of Jesus Christ has been done to save mankind. The final result of the study on Colossians 1:24 provides the meaning that every believer is called to fill up what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ, namely, the suffering related to the challenges of preaching the gospel. Like Paul who was never free from suffering when preaching the gospel, but Paul remained joyful, and continued to preach the gospel. Likewise, we as believers should follow Paul's example so that the gospel can be spread throughout the face of the earth.

It is essential to have a correct understanding of the true meaning of worship, according to Psalm 95:6-7. The concept of worship in the book of Psalms is more related to the closeness of the people's hearts to God than just rituals or outward ways. In this text, all people are invited to come with sincere respect and worship to God, as a recognition of His power and sovereignty. Understanding that worship is not just a task or routine is part of kuni in applying the correct understanding of the meaning of worship. In the book of Psalms, God is described as a shepherd who cares for His people. This shows that people perform worship in response to God's love and providence. As a result, a transformational approach must involve a change of mind and heart. In the context of Psalm 95:6-7, the transformational strategy in question involves fostering the spiritual character of the people through in-depth teaching and the application of spiritual principles in daily life. This strategy includes understanding the importance of sincerity in worship, not just following established forms of worship. In this regard, spiritual leaders and church leaders have an important role in providing guidance, teaching the faithful to understand the meaning of true worship, and helping them avoid the bonds of worship formalities. In addition, transformational strategies in worship also include the participation of the faithful in social life that reflects values such as love, justice, and sacrifice, which are at the core of worship itself.

This article explores theological perspectives on the resurrection of Christ that still feature wounds as a meaningful way to understand and heal trauma. The wounds of Christ that remain after his resurrection are a sign of hope, healing, and reconciliation. In a digital age filled with violence and trauma, the meaning of the resurrection of the body conveys the message that wounds are not the end of everything, but rather part of a holistic healing process both physically, mentally, and spiritually. The incarnation and solidarity of God through the suffering of Christ show that God is present in human grief. The community of faith and pastoral care also have a crucial role in addressing those who have experienced trauma. With a holistic approach that combines body, soul, and spirit, the resurrected body of Christ becomes an example of healing and a source of strength for wounded individuals.
