Public service is a key aspect of government performance that directly affects community satisfaction. This study examines the quality of public service at the Bumi Ayu Subdistrict Office in Dumai Selatan, Dumai City, using five dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, empathy, tangibles, and assurance. Data were collected through observation, interviews with two informants (one official and one service user), and document review. The findings indicate that public services are generally effective. Staff demonstrate adequate reliability and responsiveness, show empathy in serving the community, provide sufficient facilities to support service activities, and foster public trust through professional conduct. Supporting factors include well-organized service procedures, adequate infrastructure, and attentive staff, while limitations involve dependency on the subdistrict head for document approval, limited staff during peak hours, and some facility constraints. The study highlights the need to improve service timeliness, increase staff availability, and improve facilities to optimize public service delivery. Enhancing training programs for staff and implementing technology solutions for document processing could contribute to further improving service quality. Future research could focus on expanding the scope of public service assessments to include citizen satisfaction and feedback, providing insights into the areas requiring attention for continuous improvement.

This study comprehensively investigates the empirical impact of capital structure, profitability, and asset growth on the value of companies in the retail sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the post-pandemic economic recovery phase (2021–2024). Adopting a quantitative methodology with purposive sampling of 12 entities (N=48), parameters were estimated using multiple linear regression after passing a rigorous classical assumption test including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. By proxiesizing the capital structure through Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), profitability through Return on Assets (ROA), and total asset growth to Price to Book Value (PBV), this study reveals the phenomenon of  market undervaluation with an average PBV of 0.17. The results of statistical tests confirm that these financial determinants partially and simultaneously have a significant influence on shaping the firm value. These findings provide a theoretical contribution regarding the relevance of funding policy and operational efficiency as crucial signals for investors in a volatile market landscape. The practical implications emphasize the importance of optimizing financial structure and operational performance to strengthen market confidence during the global economic transition period.

This paper discusses in depth the role of accounting in business decision-making in the digital era, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by the accounting profession in the context of rapid and complex technological developments. In the modern business world, accounting information plays a crucial role, not only as a financial reporting tool but also as a foundation for strategic analysis that can influence the direction and policies of an organization. The issues raised pertain to the importance of timely and accurate accounting information in supporting managerial decision-making, as well as how this information can be used to enhance the performance and competitiveness of companies. The main objective of this research is to explore how digitalization and technological innovations, such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, and cloud-based information systems, affect accounting practices and their impact on business decision-making. This research also aims to identify the challenges arising from technological changes, including data security issues, the necessary technological skills, and regulatory changes that accountants must face. The methodology employed in this research is a normative approach with descriptive analysis, which includes literature studies and analysis of various relevant secondary data sources. Additionally, this research presents several case studies to demonstrate the application of theory in real practice and its impact on decision-making. The findings indicate that although digitalization brings many benefits in terms of efficiency and accuracy, there are serious challenges to be faced, such as the increased risk of data breaches and the need for higher technological skills among accounting professionals. The conclusion drawn from this research is that to optimally leverage the potential of accounting in supporting business decision-making, companies must invest in training and skill development for their accountants. Furthermore, the importance of implementing sustainable accounting practices is increasingly gaining attention, especially in the context of social and environmental responsibility. Thus, accounting not only functions as a supporting tool but also as a strategic element that adds value to companies in facing the complexities and uncertainties of the future.

Pay close attention to financial performance. An organization's success is shown by its consistent improvement in financial performance compared to the prior period. Audit quality, independence of auditors, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) implementation, regulatory compliance, and the organization's board of directors and supervisory board all have an impact on financial performance. The objective of this research is to corroborate and analyze prior studies that have focused on Islamic audit quality, Islamic audit independence, Islamic audit boards and supervisory boards, sharia compliance, good corporate governance (gcg), and auditor independence as they pertain to Islamic banking's financial performance. Using data gathered from articles published in national journals to back up claims, this study integrates qualitative methodologies with a literature review approach. The researcher procured ten samples of sinta indexed and non-indexed publications from Google Scholar. The study's findings suggest that financial performance is influenced by factors such as the quality of sharia audits, the independence of auditors, the degree of sharia compliance, the application of good corporate governance (gcg), and the board of directors and supervisory board. In the digital business environment, web-based Point of Sale (POS) systems play a vital role in supporting transaction processing, inventory management, and operational decision-making. Ensuring the functional reliability of such systems is essential, particularly in critical authentication features that regulate user access. However, undetected functional errors within login and registration modules may disrupt operations, compromise data integrity, and reduce user experience quality. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the functionality of the Wingpos website, focusing specifically on the login and registration features. The research applies the Black Box Testing approach using the Equivalence Partitioning technique, which enables systematic functional validation by classifying input data into representative valid and invalid partitions without requiring access to source code. The testing process involved designing structured test cases, executing input scenarios, and comparing actual system outputs with expected results. The findings reveal that most authentication processes function in accordance with system specifications, as seven out of ten test scenarios produced expected outcomes. Nevertheless, three discrepancies were identified, including inconsistent error message validation in the login feature and the system’s inability to properly verify invalid email domains during registration. These results indicate that while the system demonstrates general functional reliability, certain validation mechanisms require refinement. In conclusion, the application of Black Box Testing with the Equivalence Partitioning technique proves effective in identifying functional gaps and supporting quality assurance processes in web-based POS systems, particularly in strengthening authentication feature reliability and improving overall system performance

This research is a quantitative descriptive study with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out in two ways, quantitative data was analyzed by non-parametric statistics and qualitative data was classified through coding. The population and sample of this study were all 12 teachers. The results showed that (1) all teachers at SDN Kepanjen 01 Kepanjen District, Malang Regency carried out WFH according to the Government Circular Letter, namely the learning planning stage: using it for making lesson plans and discussing with fellow teachers; stages of the learning process: using google forms and WA for student attendance, zoom for delivering material, WA for giving and collecting assignments, youtube and the web for learning media; and the learning evaluation stage: using google forms for PH or PTS and gadgets to correct student evaluation results. (2) The implementation of WFH at SDN Kepanjen 01 encountered various obstacles. (3) Obstacles during WFH are categorized into obstacles in gadgets, internet, material understanding, finance, communication, and level of focus. (4) The solution to the problems experienced is adjusted to the situation and condition of teachers and students' families at SDN Kepanjen 01 so that WFH and BDR can still run optimally. (5) WFH has a positive impact, namely creating a feeling of security because it avoids the spread of covid-19, has more free time, is free to determine work schedules, and automatically reduces transportation costs. While the negative impact is that teachers experience boredom, reduced interaction with colleagues, lowers the quality of performance results, and is addicted to social media. The researcher's suggestions for teachers are that teachers should (1) implement whatever policies have been set by the Principal with full responsibility and enthusiasm; (2) discuss all the obstacles that arise during WFH with the Principal and fellow teachers in order to obtain the most appropriate solution; (3) always teach students to apply health protocols at home; and (4) although WFH has a negative impact, teachers must be able to overcome it in various ways so as not to affect the quality of learning for students.
