Dinamika Pembelajaran : Jurnal Pendidikan dan bahasa 2025 Lembaga Pengembangan Kinerja Dosen

This study aims to determine the extent to which learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education and Character Education can be improved through the application of the scientific learning method among second-grade students at SD Santa Maria Cirebon. The learning materials focused on the topics “My Parents,” “The Role of Family Members,” and “Playing with Friends.” The research subjects consisted of 20 second-grade students, while the object of the study was their learning outcomes following the implementation of the scientific learning method. This method encourages students to actively observe, question, experiment, reason, and communicate their learning outcomes independently and responsibly. The research was conducted over three cycles, each including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the average student achievement was 75%, which increased to 85% in the second cycle and reached 100% in the third cycle. In addition to cognitive development, there was also notable improvement in social aspects such as independence, responsibility, and discipline. The number of students showing positive development increased from 75% in the first cycle to 95% in the second cycle, and further to 98% in the third cycle. These findings suggest that the scientific learning method is effective in enhancing both academic performance and social character in Catholic Religious Education and Character Education. Therefore, it is recommended that this method be more widely applied in similar learning contexts.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning process. Based on observations of teacher activities during Cycle I, teacher engagement increased from 65% in the first meeting to 81% in the second meeting. This improvement indicates that teacher activity falls within the "good" category. However, not all observed indicators were fully met in each session. In contrast, student activity during the learning process was categorized as "fair," with 61% in the first meeting and 75% in the second meeting. The results of the action test in Cycle I showed that classical learning mastery reached only 36%, which did not meet the predetermined target of 85%. The classical absorption rate was 63%, also falling short of the expected 65%. Out of all students, 8 achieved learning mastery, while 14 did not. This was primarily due to a lack of motivation and limited understanding of the concepts being taught. Based on the observations of both teacher and student activities and the Cycle I test results, the researcher proceeded with Cycle II in an effort to make the learning process more effective and efficient. The teacher made efforts to reflect on and address the shortcomings from Cycle I.

JUREKSI (Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance) 2025 STIKes Ibnu Sina Ajibarang

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic economics in regulating online gambling which is increasingly popular among Indonesian people, even Muslims. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to analyze the impact of online gambling and offers solutions based on Islamic economic principles. The data collected in this study were analyzed by reading, reviewing, and summarizing the results of previous studies that have been conducted on the influence of learning motivation on academic achievement in economics subjects. The results of the study indicate that online gambling damages five main aspects of the maqashid sharia, namely religion, soul, mind, property, and descendants. To overcome this problem, Islamic economics offers an approach to Islamic financial literacy education, economic empowerment through Islamic microfinance institutions such as Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT), and strengthening government regulations in prohibiting and supervising online gambling practices. This study recommends collaboration between the government, financial institutions, and Islamic organizations to increase public awareness, strengthen spiritual values, and create halal economic opportunities as a more productive alternative. Thus, the application of Islamic economic principles is expected to be able to create a just, prosperous, and free society from online gambling practices.

Delays in filling in the School and Student Data Base (PDSS) by teachers at several schools in Indonesia, such as SMAN 1 Mempawah and SMK 2 Surakarta, have caused hundreds of students to risk losing the opportunity to take part in the National Achievement Based Selection (SNBP) in 2025. PDSS is an important database containing student and school information, including academic grades and other information required for SNBP. Filling in the PDSS is the responsibility of teachers, especially Dapodik operators and BK counselors, as well as school principals. This delay was caused by negligence in entering data before the specified time limit. As a result, students feel stressed and frustrated because they are threatened with not being able to continue their education to college. The delay in filling out the PDSS reflects a larger problem in the Indonesian education system, where adaptation to technology and development of the skills of teaching staff are urgently needed.

The ability to speak Indonesian is a crucial aspect of children's development, as it plays a significant role in learning, communication, and social interaction both in school and in the wider community. This study aims to analyze the impact of local language use on students’ Indonesian language proficiency, focusing on fourth-grade students at SDN 03 Kelabu. All 20 students in the class were selected as the research sample. This research employs a qualitative approach using observation and interviews to gather in-depth data regarding students’ daily language habits and their effects on classroom learning. The findings reveal that the dominant use of local languages at home and in the surrounding environment limits the students' ability to use Indonesian actively, particularly in formal learning contexts. This negatively affects their communication skills—both spoken and written—and hinders academic achievement. The study is analyzed through social learning theory and ecological systems theory, which explain that language development is influenced by interactions between individuals and their immediate environments, such as family, peers, and school. Based on these findings, it is recommended that teachers and parents actively encourage the use of Indonesian in daily activities, especially in educational settings. The study also provides suggestions for further research on strategies to improve Indonesian language proficiency in areas where local languages are predominantly spoken.

The school's fifth-grade kids receive jumputan batik instruction with the goal of enhancing both their creative abilities and extracurricular accomplishments. One batik-making technique that makes use of the tie-dye procedure is jumputan batik. Jumputan batik is made by tying thread in specific areas of the material and then dipping it in dye to create a unique design. In order to ensure that activities may be carried out efficiently and have the greatest possible influence on students' development, the process of carrying out this community service is structured from planning to evaluation. As a result, kids are able to freely and creatively express themselves through art-related activities. Students can make their own designs and patterns when making jumputan batik, which promotes original and creative thinking. The ability to create original designs is made possible by the jumputan batik process, which incorporates tie-dye elements. Pupils can use their imagination to create motifs, patterns, and color combinations that represent their own personalities and concepts. Students' critical and creative thinking abilities are greatly enhanced by this creative process. According to the findings, students now possess much greater creativity, self-confidence, discipline, and teamwork. In addition to teaching pupils traditional batik techniques, this instruction aids in the development of social and character traits that will benefit them greatly throughout their life. It is anticipated that by exposing more students to Indonesian art and culture, this instruction would be expanded and perpetuated. It is anticipated that by exposing more students to Indonesian art and culture, this instruction would be expanded and perpetuated.

Learning motivation is a key factor in students' academic success. This study aims to analyze the effect of intrinsic rewards, extrinsic rewards, and punishments on elementary school students' learning motivation. Using the literature review method, this research examines various literatures related to the application of reward and punishment strategies in education. The results show that appropriately given rewards can enhance both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in students. Intrinsic rewards, such as a sense of achievement and self-pride, encourage students to continue learning and develop independently, while extrinsic rewards, such as praise or gifts, provide external incentives that reinforce student motivation. On the other hand, punishments applied wisely can instill discipline and improve students' learning focus. However, rewards are found to be more effective in increasing student motivation compared to punishments, as rewards create a positive and enjoyable learning environment. Punishments, if overused or applied inappropriately, can negatively affect student motivation and lead to stress or fear. This study also shows that a combination of both approaches—rewards and punishments—when applied in the right balance, can produce optimal results in supporting students' academic development. These findings provide important implications for educators in designing effective learning strategies to enhance students' learning motivation, as well as the importance of a balanced and thoughtful approach to students' needs and characteristics.
