This study aims to analyze the process of affixation, which is the addition of elements to the basic form of a word, in three languages: Indonesian, English, and Javanese. Affixation is one of the important morphological processes in the formation of words that reflects the structure and characteristics of each language. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by utilizing speech from the three languages as comparative data. Data was collected through the listening method, which is by observing the use of language in various contexts, both oral and written, including excerpts from texts that contain language errors. The analysis was carried out on the basic forms of words that undergo the process of affixation, focusing on four types of affixes: prefixes (prefixes), infixes (inserts), suffixes (suffixes), and confixes (a combination of prefixes and suffixes). The results show that the three languages have a distinctive affixation pattern, although there are some similarities in the function and purpose of word formation. Indonesian and Javanese tend to have a more complex and productive attribution structure than English, which is more dominant in using suffixes in the formation of new words. This study also found that language errors in writing are often related to the use of affixes that are not in accordance with the morphological rules of each language. These findings show the importance of understanding the process of affixation in language learning and language competence development. By understanding the differences and similarities in the process of interlingual affixation, it is hoped that language learners and practitioners can improve the accuracy of word use and enrich cross-cultural linguistic insights.

This research explores the use of inflectional affixes in Book #88 Love Life 03 by Diana Rikasari, using Victoria Fromkin’s morphological framework. Inflectional affixes are suffixes added to words to express grammatical features such as tense, number, possession, aspect, and degree, without changing the word’s original class or core meaning. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the types and functions of these affixes within the selected text. The research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through documentation and analyzed using note-taking and cross-checking techniques to ensure accuracy. The results show that all eight standard English inflectional affixes were found in the book: -s (plural and third-person-singular), -ed (past-tense), -ing-(progressive), -en (past participle),--’s (possessive), -er (comparative), and -est (superlative). Each affix was used to mark specific grammatical functions and was essential in maintaining proper sentence structure. The analysis highlights that inflectional affixes play a key role in creating clear and grammatically correct sentences. Understanding their use helps readers and language learners grasp how meaning and structure are expressed in written English. This research supports the importance of morphological analysis in understanding how language functions at the word level and contributes to effective communication.

The selection of group counseling interventions in addressing learners' problems shows high effectiveness because it utilizes group dynamics that support the development of emotional aspects, cognition, and communication skills. Group counseling has an important role in the preventive, curative, and developmental functions of learners, both in terms of mental health, social skills, academics, and career planning. Group counseling is a relevant form of counseling service to deal with learners' problems that are urgent and have similarities, and serves as a means of holistic self-development. The effectiveness of this service depends not only on productivity, but also the perspectives of counseling teachers, students, and the efficiency of implementation, all of which are influenced by the professional competence of counselors according to national standards. Effectiveness itself is understood as success in achieving service goals, which includes internal and external factors of service implementers. In its implementation, different group counseling approaches and techniques can still achieve optimal results when adjusted to the problems and needs of students. The use of the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy approach in group counseling is proven to increase participants' understanding of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and strengthen group interaction in depth. Strategies and innovations in counseling techniques or methods need to be adjusted to strengthen the effectiveness of the service, while participant activeness and the dynamics of social interaction are important factors in supporting the success of group counseling. Therefore, collaboration between group members is needed so that the counseling process runs smoothly and service goals can be achieved optimally.

This article explores the nature of the philosophy of Islamic education and its integration with the philosophy of mathematics in the learning process. The philosophy of Islamic education is rooted in the Qur’an and As-Sunnah and is further reinforced by the thoughts of Muslim philosophers. It encompasses three main aspects: ontology (the nature of existence), epistemology (the sources and methods of acquiring knowledge), and axiology (values and purposes). Islamic education aims not only to shape individual character but also to build a holistic educational system based on Islamic values. In this context, education is not merely a process of knowledge transfer but a means of fostering moral and spiritual development in learners. On the other hand, the philosophy of mathematics from the perspective of Islamic education emphasizes that mathematics is not solely an exact science of arithmetic, but also a discipline closely related to ethical and moral values in Islam. Mathematics is viewed as part of the divine order of Allah’s creation, reflecting His greatness. Therefore, the integration of Islamic educational philosophy and mathematical philosophy in learning offers a deeper approach to mathematical concepts. This approach not only enhances students’ cognitive understanding of the material but also instills spiritual awareness and values of faith and piety. By combining scientific and religious aspects, the learning process becomes more systematic, meaningful, and aligned with the comprehensive goals of Islamic education.

Learning German at level A1 is designed for beginners, with the aim of introducing the basics of vocabulary and sentence structure used in everyday life. The material taught includes work and daily activities. Grammar, as a fundamental aspect of learning, is very important to help learners understand sentence structure, verb usage, as well as case systems in German. German Grammar Learning Books that use linguistic approaches such as Error Analysis and Contrastive Analysis aim to make it easier for learners to understand the differences between German and Indonesian grammar. The study analyzed the book with reference  to the Profile Deutsch standard  issued by the Goethe-Institut, which assesses the suitability of the material with the German language learning objectives at A1 level. The focus of the analysis is on the material  of Der Adjective and Modal Verben, with results that show the shortcomings and advantages in the presentation of the material. Some example sentences use more complex structures, such as comparisons that don't correspond to beginner levels. The use of complete conjugation for Modalverben is also considered too heavy, and negation sentences with Modalverben are often confusing for A1 learners. In addition, the vocabulary used in this book is not very well known at the A1 level, so it needs to be adjusted to more basic vocabulary.
