The development of an increasingly integrated capital market calls for effective regulations to prevent insider trading practices that can undermine price formation mechanisms and erode investor confidence. This study aims to analyze a comparison of insider trading regulations in Indonesia and Singapore, particularly regarding the construction of legal norms, the scope of legal subjects, and enforcement mechanisms. This study employs a normative legal approach using comparative law methodology through a literature review of relevant legislation, academic literature, and policy documents. The findings indicate that Indonesia has established insider trading regulations based on fiduciary relationships, placing the relationship between the perpetrator and the issuer as the primary element of legal liability. This approach results in limitations in reaching parties who obtain information indirectly. Meanwhile, Singapore adopts a broader approach by focusing on the misuse of material non-public information, thereby making the scope of legal subjects more comprehensive. In terms of law enforcement, Indonesia relies on supervision by the OJK with a predominance of administrative sanctions, whereas Singapore integrates administrative, criminal, and civil sanctions simultaneously through the Monetary Authority of Singapore. This comparison reveals differences in regulatory paradigms that have implications for the effectiveness of law enforcement and investor protection. Singapore’s more flexible and substance-based approach is considered more adaptable to the dynamics of modern markets, whereas Indonesia still faces challenges in expanding the scope and optimizing the effectiveness of law enforcement.

The rapid development of modern science and technology has brought major transformations to various aspects of human life, including education, communication, economics, health, and social interaction. Nevertheless, this progress often creates a gap between scientific advancement and spiritual or moral values, particularly when viewed from an Islamic perspective. This study aims to analyze the relationship between modern science and Islamic teachings, while also exploring relevant forms of integration between the two in responding to contemporary life challenges. The research employs a qualitative approach through a comprehensive literature review of books, scientific journals, and other academic sources related to science and Islam. The findings indicate that Islam is fundamentally not opposed to science; instead, Islamic teachings encourage critical thinking, intellectual development, and the pursuit of knowledge for the benefit of humanity. Furthermore, the integration of scientific knowledge and Islamic values is considered essential in maintaining balance between technological progress, ethical responsibility, and human morality. Therefore, continuous and contextual efforts are needed to harmonize science and religion so that both can contribute optimally to the development of a more humane, ethical, and spiritually grounded civilization.

This study aims to analyze the financial distress condition of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk during the period 2015–2024 using the Springate and Grover models. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach with secondary data obtained from the company’s annual financial statements. Financial distress analysis is conducted by calculating financial ratios included in each model to describe the company’s financial condition over the observation period. The results indicate that PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk experienced financial distress during several periods, particularly before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was reflected in weakened liquidity, declining profitability, and reduced efficiency in asset utilization. However, following the financial restructuring process after 2021, both the Springate and Grover models show an improvement in the company’s financial condition, indicating a transition toward a more stable non-distress status. Although the Springate and Grover models use different financial indicators and classification approaches, both are able to descriptively capture the dynamics of financial distress experienced by the company. The differences in classification results reflect the distinct focus of each model, where the Springate model is more sensitive to liquidity and operational performance, while the Grover model emphasizes asset profitability. Therefore, the combined use of both models provides a more comprehensive overview of the financial distress condition of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk during the research period.

This study aims to examine the differences in stock prices before and after the Palestine-Israel ceasefire event in fast-food restaurant companies,  Pizza Hut and KFC. International-scale events may influence investor perceptions, as reflected in stock price movements in the capital market. This study employs a comparative quantitative approach using stock price data collected over 30 days before and 30 days after the ceasefire event. The analyzed data consist of secondary data processed through descriptive statistics, normality tests, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that the average stock price of PZZA increased after the event, whereas FAST experienced a decline in its average stock price. These results reveal differences in stock prices between the periods before and after the ceasefire event in both companies. The findings further suggest that geopolitical events are associated with changes in stock prices in the fast-food restaurant industry, although market responses differ across companies. Therefore, future studies are recommended to expand the scope of research objects and extend the observation period to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of market responses to international events.

Chronic Coronary Syndrome (CCS) is a contemporary term that replaces stable coronary artery disease (CAD) and describes a spectrum of clinical conditions resulting from chronic abnormalities of the coronary arteries. This condition is characterized by a mismatch between myocardial oxygen supply and demand that is transient and reversible, commonly presenting as stable angina pectoris. CCS contributes significantly to global cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, including in Indonesia. The underlying pathophysiology primarily involves atherosclerosis and microvascular dysfunction leading to myocardial ischemia. Diagnosis is established through comprehensive history taking, physical examination, and both invasive and non-invasive investigations such as electrocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac imaging. Risk stratification using pre-test probability plays a crucial role in guiding further diagnostic evaluation. The management of CCS aims to relieve symptoms and prevent adverse cardiovascular events through pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches, as well as revascularization when indicated. Pharmacological therapy includes antianginal agents, antiplatelet drugs, and lipid-lowering agents, while lifestyle modifications such as smoking cessation, healthy diet, and regular physical activity are essential in preventing disease progression. With accurate diagnosis and comprehensive management, the morbidity and mortality associated with CCS can be reduced.

Corruption is an extraordinary crime that significantly affects state stability, particularly when it involves civil servants (Aparatur Sipil Negara/ASN). Collective corruption reflects a structured pattern of organized crime within the bureaucratic system. This study aims to analyze the causative factors, modus operandi, and law enforcement constraints related to corruption committed collectively by civil servants. This research employs a normative legal method using conceptual and case approaches through the analysis of the Corruption Court Decision Number 25/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PN Mdn. The analysis is based on judicial considerations and legal facts revealed in the decision, which are examined through a criminological perspective. The results indicate that collective corruption by civil servants is influenced by internal and external factors reflected in judicial reasoning, including structural opportunities, weak supervision, and a permissive bureaucratic culture. The modus operandi involves hierarchical collaboration through budget manipulation, price mark-ups, and procurement fraud within the framework of participation (deelneming). Law enforcement constraints include aspects of legal substance, structure, and culture. Therefore, comprehensive legal policies are required through regulatory reform, institutional strengthening, and modernization of supervisory systems.

Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) is one of the most common arrhythmias in the pediatric population, often resulting from re-entry mechanisms involving accessory pathways or dual atrioventricular nodal physiology. Although generally well tolerated in children with structurally normal hearts, its management can be challenging, particularly in recurrent or persistent cases. This study is a case report describing a pediatric patient with hemodynamically stable SVT treated at Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital. Data were collected retrospectively from medical records, including history taking, physical examination, and supporting investigations such as serial electrocardiography (ECG), laboratory tests, chest radiography, and transthoracic echocardiography. Management was conducted according to current clinical guidelines, including vagal maneuvers, pharmacological therapy with beta-blockers and antiarrhythmic agents (amiodarone), and monitoring of treatment response based on clinical evaluation and ECG, along with identification and treatment of underlying triggers. We report a case of a 10-year-old female presenting with suspected SVT and pericarditis, who experienced episodes of narrow QRS complex tachycardia that were successfully converted to sinus rhythm following amiodarone administration. Echocardiographic evaluation revealed mild to moderate tricuspid regurgitation with preserved ventricular function. Laboratory and radiological findings suggested an underlying inflammatory process, which was considered a triggering factor. This case highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach in the diagnosis and management of pediatric SVT, including addressing underlying conditions and ensuring continuous monitoring to prevent recurrence.

This article aims to analyze the strengthening of the enforcement of the advocate's code of ethics as an instrument in enhancing the professionalism of the legal profession in Indonesia. The main issue examined is how the regulation of the advocate's code of ethics within the Indonesian legal system and the effectiveness of its enforcement in realizing professional standards. This research uses a normative juridical method with a legislative and conceptual approach, based on the analysis of Law Number 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates, the Indonesian Advocate Code of Ethics, and relevant legal doctrines. The research results show that normatively, the regulation of the advocate's code of ethics has a strong and comprehensive legal foundation, encompassing the principles of independence, integrity, confidentiality, and professional responsibility. However, in practice, the enforcement of the code of ethics still faces various obstacles, such as weak supervision, fragmentation of the lawyer organizations, and the suboptimal role of the Honorary Council in upholding professional discipline. This condition creates a gap between norms and implementation, which affects the professionalism of lawyers and public trust. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the enforcement of the code of ethics thru regulatory harmonization, increased transparency and accountability, and the strengthening of an ethical culture within the profession. With effective and consistent enforcement, the advocate's code of ethics is expected to function optimally as an instrument for enhancing professionalism and supporting an integrity-based judicial system.

This research is driven by Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments (HKPD), which reclassifies several taxes, including entertainment tax, into the Category of Goods and Services Tax (PBJT). This policy is further regulated by Surabaya City Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2023. This study aims to analyze the contribution of entertainment tax within the PBJT framework toward Surabaya's Local Generated Revenue (PAD) from 2021 to 2023. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected from the Surabaya City Budget Realization Report (LRA) and other official documents, then processed using RStudio. The results indicate that while entertainment tax realization increases annually, its contribution to Surabaya's PAD remains significantly low, averaging below 2%. This suggests that entertainment tax is not yet a primary source of revenue for the city. Based on these findings, the Surabaya City Government is expected to tighten supervision over entertainment transactions through digital systems to minimize fraud risks and conduct comprehensive data updates on new entertainment venues to maximize tax collection.

This study aims to analyze exegetically and socio-historically the text of Deuteronomy 21:10–14 concerning the treatment of female war captives in ancient Israel. This passage has often been debated as it is perceived to reflect a patriarchal system, thus requiring a comprehensive interpretation to understand its original intent. This research employs a qualitative approach based on library research, utilizing textual exegesis, historical-critical, and literary analysis of the Hebrew text, as well as an examination of the Ancient Near Eastern context. The findings reveal that the legal structure of the text is progressive and regulatory in nature, not legitimizing exploitation but rather restricting male behavior through specific procedures, including a mourning period and a process of social transition for the captive woman. The analysis of Hebrew terminology highlights symbolic meanings related to status transformation, purification, and recognition of the woman's humanity. In its socio-historical context, this law differs significantly from common practices in the Ancient Near East, which often exploited war captives, by imposing limitations on economic and social exploitation and providing a degree of protection. Theologically, the text reflects the function of the Mosaic law as a regulatory framework that introduces justice and humanity within a complex social reality. Therefore, Deuteronomy 21:10–14 is best understood as an ethical effort to limit inhumane practices rather than to endorse them.

Restorative Justice in the Perspective of Modern Criminal Law: Challenges and Regulatory Reforms in Indonesia by a retributive approach that emphasizes punishing the offender as a form of retribution. However, this approach is considered unable to provide comprehensive justice, especially for the victims, and is not effective in resolving the social conflicts caused by criminal acts. Therefore, the concept of restorative justice has emerged as a new paradigm that emphasizes the restoration of victim losses, the responsibility of the perpetrator, and community involvement in the resolution of cases. This research aims to analyze the concept and theoretical foundations of restorative justice, its implementation in the criminal justice system in Indonesia, as well as the challenges and the need for regulatory renewal. The research method used is normative legal research with a legislative and conceptual approach, supported by secondary data as the main source. The research results show that restorative justice has been regulated in various sectoral regulations, such as Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021, Attorney General Regulation Number 15 of 2020, Law Number 11 of 2012, and Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2024. However, the regulations are still partial and not integrated into a comprehensive legal framework, leading to differences in understanding and application among law enforcement officials. Therefore, the establishment of a specific law on restorative justice is necessary to ensure legal certainty, uniform application, and to create a more humane, just, and recovery-oriented criminal justice system.

This qualitative literature review explores how multinational enterprises (MNEs) utilize strategic trade cost allocation and internal pricing autonomy to engage in tax avoidance through transfer pricing. Drawing on recent academic studies, the review synthesizes insights on how firms manipulate Incoterms, delegate pricing rights, and align managerial incentives to shift profits across jurisdictions. It highlights the dual role of transfer pricing as both a tax planning instrument and a corporate governance challenge. The review also examines the interaction between tax regulations—such as the OECD’s BEPS framework—and managerial decision-making authority within MNEs. By comparing findings across multiple empirical and theoretical studies, this paper provides a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms and limitations of current transfer pricing practices. The results emphasize the need for stronger alignment between regulatory enforcement, internal control structures, and global transparency standards.

The development of generative artificial intelligence has given rise to a new form of digital-based sexual violence through the spread of sexual deepfakes, non-consensual synthetic sexual representations that can attack the dignity, privacy, sexual autonomy, and sense of security of victims. This threat becomes even more serious when targeting students and educators because it not only harms individuals but also disrupts the integrity and security of educational spaces. This study aims to analyze the construction of Indonesian criminal law in ensnaring the spread of sexual deepfakes in educational environments, identify weaknesses in its regulations, and formulate a more ideal reconstruction of criminal liability. The method used is normative legal research with a qualitative descriptive approach, through a literature review of laws and regulations, scientific literature, and relevant documents related to deepfakes, electronic-based sexual violence, and legal protection in educational environments. The results of the discussion indicate that Indonesian positive laws, such as the ITE Law, the TPKS Law, the Pornography Law, the Personal Data Protection Law, and educational regulations, have essentially provided a normative basis for prosecuting such acts, but they are still partial, fragmented, and do not explicitly regulate sexual deepfakes as a separate crime. Therefore, a reconstruction of criminal liability is needed that explicitly recognizes non-consensual synthetic sexual representation as a crime, expands the forms of punishable acts, provides for greater severity in the context of educational relations, and comprehensively integrates criminal penalties with victim protection and recovery. Keywords: sexual deepfakes, criminal liability, students, educators, digital-based sexual violence.
