This research aims to compare education in Salafi and modern Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Salafi Islamic boarding schools tend to maintain the teaching of the Yellow Book and traditional methods, while modern Islamic boarding schools integrate religious education with general education and technology. The library study method is used to collect and analyze data from various sources such as books, journals and related articles. The research results show that Salafi Islamic boarding schools remain focused on teaching the classical books of the Islamic religion without adopting a modern curriculum, while modern Islamic boarding schools offer more integrated education by combining religious and general curricula, as well as modern technology. These differences are reflected in the teaching methods, curriculum structures, and leadership approaches in both types of Islamic boarding schools, which is important for understanding their contribution to developing the character and knowledge of young people and supporting the formation of more inclusive education policies in Indonesia.

Mixed marriages and people of different religions cause differences in values and beliefs which give rise to domestic conflicts, especially regarding childcare. This research aims to determine the influence, obstacles, roles and efforts to develop the appreciation of Catholic faith and traditions. This marriage can increase understanding and tolerance towards other religions. However, if tolerance does not occur, conflict will emerge. Religious conflict creates tension in families and even leads to divorce. So efforts are needed to maintain family integrity and children's faith education. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Information was obtained by in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. From the results, it was found that Catholics maintained their faith and educated their children Catholicically with all their might. Efforts are visible in the testimony of faith when parents become examples and witnesses of faith in everyday life, whether at school, work, or social relationships, by practicing Catholic values in actions and words. Because it is considered dangerous, young people are advised not to choose to enter into mixed marriages or interfaith marriages because they are considered risky and endanger the Catholic faith, affecting the appreciation of the faith and the development of children's Catholic traditions in the family. Efforts to reduce this marriage are by being actively involved in activities in the Church, strengthening one's faith through prayer, practicing the praxis of Catholic life, believing that one's life partner is someone from God.

Nostra Aetate or the Declaration on the relation of the church with Non-Chrisian religions, is an official declaration of the Vatican II, an ecumenical council of the Catholic Church. Several attitudes that limit themselves in community activities and the community’s low understanding of local traditions are problems in research. One of the traditions that is maintained to build harmony between religious communities is the Nyadran tradition. To discuss this problem, researchers used qualitative methods with ethnographic studies. Research used data triangulation, purposive sampling techniques.1) The data results show, that the Nyadran tradistion does not deviate from Church teachings because it is interpreted as praying for deceased ancestors to obtain resurrection and eternal life with the Father in Heaven by expressing gratitude through a meal. Some parties restrict themselves due to religious teachings, locals uphold traditions without interpretation. 2) The Nostra Aetate declaration highlights Church acceptance of Nyadran tradition to promote societal well-being and environmental safety. 3)In social and pastoral life the Church has also implemented what is stated in the Nostra Aetate of declaration. Through the Nyadran tradition, people feel the negative impacts of modernization but also feel the positive impacts in the form of tolerance and spiritual connection.

A covenant establishes a structured accountability that allows all parties to act justly. The concept of a covenant in the Old Testament is used to describe the relationship between God and humans. This relationship forms a bond that involves the voluntary acceptance by the parties involved in the covenant, namely God and humans. The covenant between God and humans is not equal because it occurs within a special relationship where God accompanies, liberates, gives, and gathers humans to create order in life. God's regulations are intended for the behavior of Israel and include various norms and customs derived from local tribal regulations, tribal traditions, priestly teachings, and wisdom teachings.

The process of memorizing the Quran, a revered practice in the Muslim world, employs a variety of methods ranging from traditional oral repetition to contemporary technological aids. The research primarily seeks to identify which techniques yield the highest retention rates and the most profound understanding among students. This study employs a literature review methodology, analyzing a wide array of existing research, articles, and case studies that focus on Quranic memorization techniques. Sources include academic journals, educational reports, and empirical studies conducted in Indonesian madrasas and Quranic schools. By synthesizing findings from these sources, the study offers a comprehensive overview of the strengths and limitations of both traditional and modern memorization strategies. The results of this research indicate that while traditional methods such as rote learning and oral recitation continue to be highly effective in fostering deep memorization, modern techniques incorporating digital tools and interactive learning platforms significantly enhance engagement and accessibility for students. The activities of Al Hikmah Mosque Perumdim Jubung are not running optimally due to manual and traditional processes. Management of prayer schedules, event announcements, and donation tracking is still conventional, leading to inefficiency and lack of transparency. Congregants often struggle to get up-to-date information, limiting their participation in events. Additionally, the mosque's manual financial management often lacks transparency, causing distrust. This highlights the need for a modern, efficient information system to support mosque operations and improve services. This research aims to examine Hamka's views on neo-Sufism and understand how he views this phenomenon from a religious, social and intellectual perspective. Hamka, as one of the Islamic reformers in Indonesia, tried to harmonize the exoteric (natali) and esoteric (batini) aspects in his teachings. He offers a concept of Sufism that prioritizes cleanliness of the heart and seeks to synergize social and spiritual elements. This research uses a qualitative research design with a content analysis method. The data analyzed includes descriptions and opinions from books written by Hamka as well as discussions of thoughts written by them and others. Through this analysis, the researcher seeks to understand the complexity of the relationship between religious traditions and the challenges of modernity in Hamka's view of neo-Sufism. The results of the research show that Hamka criticizes certain aspects of neo-Sufism which he considers to be contrary to true Islamic teachings, such as mystical practices that have no basis in the Koran and Sunnah, as well as excessive emphasis on spiritual experiences without being based on solid religious knowledge. Hamka emphasized the importance of knowledge, education and spiritual guidance in achieving a correct understanding of Islam and the practice of Sufism in accordance with Islamic values. Hamka's views on neo-Sufism also reflect his concern about the social and cultural changes of his time. He offers active, dynamic and progressive Sufism as a solution to the spiritual crisis of modern humans. Hamka emphasized the need for stronger and more dynamic involvement in society, as well as maintaining a balance between worldly life and the afterlife. This research provides insight into the complexity of the relationship between religious traditions and the challenges of modernity within the framework of Hamka's thinking, as well as the importance of maintaining the integrity of Islamic teachings in facing the dynamics of changing times. The study of Hamka's views on neo-Sufism provides an important basis for understanding the religious and intellectual dynamics in contemporary Islam.

Arts and culture subjects play an important role in shaping students into creative individuals, maintaining and developing the nation's cultural heritage, while providing support in facing future challenges. The skills acquired through this subject are considered an integral part of the provision provided to students. In the current era, it can be seen that cultural heritage is increasingly fading because it is being eroded by time. Cultural performances and the number of traditional art performers continue to decline, especially guritan art, which has resulted in this cultural heritage becoming increasingly unknown to the public, and people's interest in enjoying traditional art performances from their ancestors is also decreasing. This condition is a serious concern for South Sumatra cultural observer, Vebri Alianti, who stated that cultural heritage is currently threatened with extinction and being eroded by the currents of time (Faldy, 2018). Guritan lahat often highlights local stories, regional legends, heroic stories, as well as the values of introducing and providing an understanding of the art of guritan in class IV of SD Negeri 7 Mulak Ulu, Lahat Regency using the demonstration method. Through this assessment, it is hoped that it can contribute to the development of arts education in Lahat in particular and in Indonesia in general. Thus, this research is entitled "Learning Guritan Art Using Demonstration Methods in Class IV Negeri 7 Mulak Ulu, Lahat Regency"
