The purpose of this research is to find out a review of the compilation of Islamic law regarding interfaith marriages from a sharia perspective. The method used in this research is qualitative, with a comparative approach by conducting literature studies related to studies of theories relevant to the problem of interfaith marriages. In the view of Islamic law, marriage between different religions is strictly prohibited because it is contrary to the rules of Islamic law in maintaining the existence of religion. The goal of marriage is to create a sakinanh, mawaddah wa Rahmah household, but this goal is very difficult to realize if the marriage is built on the basis of different religions. Based on Marriage Law Number 1 of 1974 which is implemented in the compilation of Islamic law, it states that it does not accommodate interfaith marriages to strengthen the arguments put forward in the Koran.

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has significantly influenced guidance and counseling services, particularly through the use of chatbots, e-counseling, and digital-based psychological analysis systems. This study aims to analyze the collaboration between AI technology and counselors’ interpersonal skills within the context of Islamic counseling. The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data sources were obtained from various relevant journals and scientific articles accessed through Google Scholar. Documentation techniques were applied for data collection, while the data were analyzed using descriptive-analytical and thematic approaches. The findings reveal that AI can enhance counseling services through greater efficiency, effectiveness, and accessibility without limitations of time and place. In addition, AI assists counselors in managing data, identifying clients’ problems, and providing quick initial responses. Nevertheless, AI cannot fully replace the role of counselors because it still lacks the ability to deeply understand empathy, build interpersonal relationships, provide emotional support, and comprehend spiritual values that are essential in Islamic counseling. Therefore, the implementation of hybrid counseling, which combines AI technology with human counselors, is considered more appropriate. In this model, AI functions as a supporting tool or co-counselor, while counselors continue to play the primary role in establishing therapeutic, humanistic, and religious relationships with clients. This study emphasizes that the integration of AI technology and counselors’ interpersonal skills is an important strategy in creating modern, effective, and human-oriented counseling services.

Differences in religious views that often trigger conflict do not only occur between religious communities, but also occur within Muslims. One of the causes is the narrow interpretation and understanding of religious teachings. This research uses literature and conceptual studies. The values of moderation in fiqh thinking include always trying to minimize differences of opinion, being tolerant amidst differences of opinion, being careful ( ihtiyath ) in enforcing laws, and not being fanatical in madhhab. Religious moderation in practical fiqh refers to efforts to: 1. Find a balance between religious principles and the needs of society in solving practical problems in life; 2. Finding a balance between fiqh principles and the social and cultural context of society; and 3. Finding solutions that are in accordance with the principles of fiqh (Islamic law) in contemporary situations and conditions.

This article examines the semantic meaning in the Prajñāpāramitā Hṛdaya Sūtra (Heart Sūtra), one of the important sūtras in the Mahāyāna Buddhist tradition. Using a qualitative approach, this article integrates semantic and hermeneutical theories to understand the structure of meaning, symbolism, and interpretation contained in the text. The analysis focuses on key words such as śūnyatā (emptiness), negation structures, and closing mantras as symbolic forms towards enlightenment. The study employs close reading methodology combined with semantic field theory, polysemy analysis, and apophatic language frameworks. The results show that a semantic approach deepens the understanding of Buddha's teachings and their relevance in spiritual practice. This article also highlights how meaning in the text is not only linguistic, but also existential and contemplative, demonstrating that religious language in Mahāyāna functions as metalanguage pointing beyond conceptual understanding.

This study critically examines the semantic and symbolic depth of khanti (patience or forbearance) as expressed in Dhammapada verse 184: “Forbearance is the supreme ascetic practice (khanti parama tapo titikkhā), Nibbāna is supreme.” Through a qualitative hermeneutic approach that integrates classical semantics, modern linguistics, and Gadamerian interpretation, khanti is reinterpreted not merely as passive tolerance, but as an active moral and spiritual strategy within Buddhist ethical thought. The findings show that khanti functions as a multi-layered sign linguistically rich, symbolically resonant, and culturally embedded supporting inner transformation and ethical agency. In the Indonesian Buddhist context, khanti is reframed as a pedagogical and communicative tool for cultivating resilience, conflict resolution, and ethical leadership. This research contributes to interdisciplinary discourse on moral education and religious communication by emphasizing the strategic potential of Buddhist ethical concepts in contemporary society.

This research aims to explore theological views on apostasy in the context of Christianity. Apostasy is defined as an act of rejection of one's faith and religious teachings, with a focus on serious spiritual consequences. The main source of insight is the Bible, which provides strong warnings against apostasy, highlighting specific passages such as Hebrews 6:4-6. This verse reflects the theological view that for those who consciously abandon the Christian faith, repentance may no longer be possible. This view reflects the serious spiritual consequences that can separate an individual from the presence of God. Although the Bible provides a strong warning against apostasy, the theological perspective also highlights God's grace and forgiveness. The Bible shows that repentance is always open to those who sincerely desire to return to God. In Luke 15:7, Jesus emphasizes the joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, providing hope that despite the seriousness of the apostasy, God always provides a way for repentance and restoration of a spiritual relationship with Him. Overall, the theological view of apostasy reflects a balance between stern warnings about the spiritual consequences and God's gracious mercy that is always open to those who return to Him.

Islamic trade in Indonesia from pre-independence to contemporary times reflects various features, including nationalist missions, religious solidarity and Islamization. The pre-independence period was marked by nationalist and religious sentiments as a response to discriminatory Dutch colonialism. Religious solidarity is used to inspire unity and independence. After independence, the Islamic trade movement focused more on capitalizing religious organizations for the welfare of the people and da'wah. In the 1990s, the spirit of Islamization strengthened, influenced by the difficulty of access to trade resources and the search for Islamic identity amidst foreign domination. The BMT Movement, Islamic Banks, and Islamic philanthropic institutions responded to this phenomenon, prioritizing empowerment and community education. The phenomenon of the Indonesian trade movement is related to socio-political factors, such as the Dutch East Indies political system and the strength of non-indigenous trade. Islamic trade movements can be classified into two types: the pre-independence period, characterized by religious nationalism in business competition with non-indigenous groups; and post-independence, involving the consolidation of religious groups such as Muhammadiyah and NU, as well as the establishment of BMT and ZISWAF institutions. Islamic trade routes in the archipelago in the past included coastal areas, especially via sea routes which influenced the archipelago as an international trade center. The research method used is a qualitative Library Research approach with a historical-descriptive method. The research results show that the Islamic trade movement is developing in line with social and political dynamics in Indonesia.
