The 2020–2024 period is a crucial time for the Indonesian economy, which is facing severe pressure due to the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic dynamics. This study aims to analyze the development of the national economic condition over the past five years through key macroeconomic indicators, such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), forest area, industrial sector contribution, high-tech exports, domestic credit, trade in goods, and gross national income per capita (GNI per capita). The method used is descriptive quantitative based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and secondary sources from national and international institutions. The results show that despite a contraction in 2020 due to the pandemic, the recovery process has been rapid since 2021, with stable economic growth in the range of 5% until 2024. Increased GNI per capita, improved foreign investment flows, and the expansion of economic digitalization are key factors strengthening national resilience. However, challenges remain, such as a decline in the industrial sector's contribution and a reduction in forest area. These findings confirm that Indonesia's economic development is moving toward a structural transformation oriented toward sustainability, sector diversification, and social inclusiveness. Overall, the 2020–2024 period reflects a phase of recovery and restructuring of the economic foundations toward achieving the Vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045 with global competitiveness.

This study aims to describe the use of Word Search media in enhancing students’ active participation in Indonesian language learning. The background of this research lies in the low level of student engagement during classroom activities, which often tend to be passive, thus requiring innovative learning media to increase activeness. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method with 21 third-grade students of SD Negeri 184 Pekanbaru as the subjects. The research instrument was a student engagement questionnaire consisting of 10 indicators based on the dimensions of behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by calculating the mean score of each indicator, which was then categorized into Very Good, Good, Fair, and Poor. The findings showed that most indicators were in the Good to Very Good categories, while only two indicators were categorized as Fair. These results indicate that the use of Word Search media can enhance students’ engagement in behavioral, emotional, and cognitive aspects. Therefore, it can be concluded that Word Search is an effective, innovative, and enjoyable learning medium to foster students’ active participation in Indonesian language learning.

Pandemic-fueled global crises, geopolitical tensions, and supply chain halt have rendered a cry for resilient community-based economies. Traditional business models have proved to be weak, and context-sensitive and inclusive innovations are required. The purpose of this study is to investigate the ways in which community-based business model innovation contributes to economic resilience after crises through the identification of key features such as collective ownership, digital integration, diversification of distribution, community networks, and microfinance access. Convergent parallel mixed-method design was employed involving 300 community-based MSME respondents and 20 key informants. Surveys and interviews were employed to collect the primary data, while secondary data were obtained from national statistics, international organizations, and academic journals. By regression analysis, digital integration (β=0.352) and collective ownership (β=0.321) are significant factors in enhancing economic resilience, followed by diversification of distribution, social networking, and access to finance. The Resilience Capacity Score (RCS) further reveals that digitalization received the highest RCS, and microfinance access was lowest among the variables. Conceptually, this research takes the concept of community-based Business Model Innovation to the next level and practically recommends stronger digital infrastructure, available microfinance schemes, and capacity building at the community level.

Shallots are one of the most strategic horticultural commodities in Indonesia, with high demand and varying production levels across regions. Differences in productivity between areas often create challenges in managing distribution and formulating national food policies. This study aims to analyze shallot production data in Indonesia by applying the K-Means Clustering algorithm using Python. The production data were collected from official agricultural statistics publications, followed by preprocessing, normalization, and determination of the optimal number of clusters using the Elbow method and Silhouette Score. The clustering results show the formation of several groups representing regions with high, medium, and low production levels. Visualization of the clustering results reveals the distribution patterns of shallot production, which can serve as a basis for supporting policy formulation in the development of shallot production centers in Indonesia. Thus, the application of K-Means Clustering with Python proves to be an effective approach to provide clearer insights into regional production variations and can be utilized as an analytical tool to support decision-making in the agricultural sector.

Regional Disaster Management Agency (RDMA) workers must be on standby and respond for 24 hours, especially if there are emergency. This causes demands on workers and workers become fatigue. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors that influence work fatigue in Tuban Regency’s RDMA workers. This research includes analytical and observational with a cross sectional design. The study was conducted on 56 workers with a simple random sampling system. The dependent variable studied was physical and mental fatigue, while the independent variables consisted of work factors (working hours and workload), emotional demands (responsibility), and organizational demands (work shifts). Data collection was carried out by direct measurement, questionnaires, interviews, documentation and observation then processed with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The factors that affect work fatigue are work factors (t statistics = 3.643 and p-values = 0.000) and organizational demands (t statistics = 3.086 and p-values = 0.002), while emotional demands have no effect (t statistics = 0.950 and p-values = 0.342). Loading factors of physical work fatigue (0.917) and mental work fatigue (0.916) are almost the same, so they have the same contribution as a measure of fatigue. Workers who experience work fatigue should conduct regular medical examinations, know the workload limit for one day, organize sufficient work time, regularly rotate work time, stretch in the middle of work activities, prepare work music and videos during breaks.

This study aimed to better understand how factors like price, taste, and location affect how much consumers want to buy Elo Pia Kediri products. The research used a quantitative method because it helps collect objective and measurable information that can be analyzed using statistics to make clear conclusions. The data came from two main places: primary and secondary sources. Primary data was gathered directly from consumers through questionnaires that asked about price, taste, location, and how much they wanted to buy the product. Secondary data was collected from books, articles, and other documents related to the topic. The study included all consumers who had bought Elo Pia Kediri products. However, since the total number of people wasn’t known and was quite large, the researcher selected a representative group. The sample size was 96 people. The method used to choose participants was accidental sampling, which means people were selected randomly or by chance as they were met at the research location and agreed to take part. The results showed that price has a big effect on how much consumers want to buy the product. This means the prices set by Elo Pia Kediri match what consumers can afford and what they think is fair, which helps them decide to buy. When prices are seen as fair, affordable, and matching the quality of the product, it encourages people to make purchases. Taste also strongly influences buying interest. When a product has a tasty and unique flavor that fits what people like, it makes them interested in buying it. Taste is an emotional factor that affects how happy consumers are with the product and makes them want to buy it again. Location also plays a big role in how much people want to buy. A location that is easy to reach and close to where people usually go out makes it easier for them to buy Elo Pia Kediri products. The F test showed that together, price, taste, and location all have a significant impact on how much consumers want to buy the product.

This study aims to analyze the influence of profitability, capital structure, and firm size on firm value in the food and beverage sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019–2023. Profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), capital structure using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), firm size using total assets, and firm value using the Price to Book Value (PBV). The sample was selected through a purposive sampling method based on specific criteria, resulting in 160 firm observations. The study uses secondary data obtained from the companies’ annual financial reports published by the IDX. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS software, including descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value, meaning that companies with higher profitability tend to have higher firm value. Firm size also shows a positive and significant effect on firm value, suggesting that larger companies with greater total assets tend to achieve higher market valuation. However, capital structure does not have a significant effect on firm value, implying that the balance between debt and equity is not necessarily a key determinant of market value for companies in this sector.

This study investigates the relationship between business ethics and VAT implementation with the aim of assessing the combined effect of both on the financial performance of B2B companies. The main theories underlying this study are the Ability to Pay Theory, Stakeholder Theory, and Ratio Analysis Theory. The study uses a positive research philosophy approach and a quantitative case study design with a structured questionnaire involving 30 respondents from PT Bhinneka Mentari Dimensi or Bhinneka.Com, the oldest B2B e-Commerce company in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show that VAT implementation indirectly affects financial performance through business morality. This mediating role is associated with stakeholder theory and the ability to pay. The low direct effect of VAT is related to an efficient company structure, company size, and reliance on self-reported data. B2B companies should embed business ethics principles in their operations, with management implementing a framework to ensure accountability in tax reporting and practices. The originality of this study contributes to the literature by emphasizing the distinctive role of business ethics as a bridge in the relationship between VAT implementation and financial performance of B2B companies, shifting attention from general tax compliance to specific VAT mechanisms and incorporating ethical dimensions in financial analysis.

Preeclampsia is a life-threatening obstetric complication and a major contributor to maternal mortality worldwide, accounting for 10–15% of all maternal deaths. In Indonesia, postpartum hemorrhage remains the leading cause of maternal death, contributing to approximately 30% of cases. Hypertension during pregnancy accompanied by proteinuria not only endangers maternal health but also increases the risk of postpartum hemorrhage. Therefore, understanding the relationship between the severity of preeclampsia and the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage is crucial for developing effective prevention and management strategies, especially at the primary healthcare level. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the gradation of preeclampsia severity and the occurrence of postpartum hemorrhage among mothers giving birth at the Tepeleo Inpatient Health Center UPTD. The research used a quantitative cross-sectional design involving 30 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data collected included demographic characteristics, severity of preeclampsia, clinical parameters such as blood pressure and proteinuria, mode of delivery, and types of postpartum hemorrhage. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Chi-Square test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that most respondents were aged 20–35 years (63.3%), had secondary education, and were multiparous (43.3%). Mild preeclampsia accounted for 73.3%, while severe cases were 26.7%. Uterine atony was the most common cause of hemorrhage (56.7%). Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship between preeclampsia severity and postpartum hemorrhage (p = 0.007).

Poverty, according to the World Bank (2000), is defined as "poverty is pronounced deprivation in well-being," meaning that poverty is the loss of well-being. This study aims to analyze the impact of income distribution inequality and the Human Development Index (HDI) on poverty in Indonesia. The research utilizes data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) report. The study focuses on 34 provinces in Indonesia between 2022 and 2024, examining income inequality and human development quality. The data analysis method used is panel data regression, which allows for analyzing the effects of these variables simultaneously. The findings of this study are: (1) income distribution inequality has a significant impact on poverty levels, indicating that the higher the income inequality, the higher the poverty rate in Indonesia; and (2) the Human Development Index (HDI) also affects poverty levels. The higher the HDI, the lower the poverty rate, suggesting that improvements in education, health, and well-being can reduce poverty. These findings emphasize the importance of reducing income inequality and improving human development quality as effective strategies to decrease poverty in Indonesia. Policies focused on equitable development and improving the quality of life for communities are essential for achieving more widespread well-being across all provinces.

This study analyzes the dynamics of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) in the Indonesian banking sector by examining both internal and external factors affecting financial stability. The variables included in the research are NPL, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), lending interest rate, inflation, Household Debt to Income (HDTI), fintech lending, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Using annual secondary data from 2005 to 2024, sourced from the World Bank and Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the study employs a Vector Autoregression (VAR) method. This method includes stationarity tests, optimal lag selection, cointegration tests, Impulse Response Function (IRF), and Forecast Error Variance Decomposition (FEVD). The results show that most variables demonstrate a dominant contribution from their own shocks, although interactions between variables remain significant. The IRF analysis reveals that CAR and HDTI are relatively stable and quickly return to equilibrium, while fintech lending, inflation, and NPLs show more volatile responses, making them more susceptible to external shocks. LDR and lending interest rates are sensitive in the short term but tend to stabilize over the long run. FEVD further indicates that inflation plays a significant role in driving NPL variations, while fintech lending is closely associated with CAR in the long term. The study concludes that the stability of Indonesia’s banking sector is influenced by both internal factors like CAR and LDR, as well as external factors such as inflation, fintech lending, and household debt. Thus, a coordinated approach involving monetary policy, macroprudential measures, and financial supervision is crucial to enhance the resilience of the banking sector against global and domestic economic shifts.

Febrile illnesses can be caused by a wide variety of viruses, bacteria, and other pathogenic microbes, and their production originates from outside the body. These substances, known as exogenous pyrogens, can enter the human system through contaminated water, food, or direct human-to-human transmission. Once inside the body, exogenous pyrogens stimulate the immune system by triggering the release of endogenous pyrogens such as cytokines, which in turn act on the hypothalamus to increase body temperature as a defense mechanism. This physiological response, while protective, can also indicate an underlying infection that may need prompt medical treatment. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020, the number of fever cases worldwide reached approximately 11–20 million people annually, with an estimated 128,000–161,000 deaths each year due to complications from febrile illnesses (Meirita et al., 2024). The global burden of fever varies by region; for example, in the United States, South America, and Western Europe, the incidence of fever is estimated to reach 4–5% of the population. In contrast, several Asian countries report higher prevalence rates, such as Japan with 6–9%, India with 5–10%, and Guam with 14% (Ulum et al., 2024). These statistics highlight the ongoing public health challenge posed by febrile illnesses, emphasizing the need for improved surveillance, prevention strategies, and treatment protocols worldwide.
