This study investigates the influence of understanding the philosophy of science on students’ critical attitudes and academic ethics in the learning process. Philosophy of science is essential in shaping systematic and reflective scientific thinking, while also serving as a foundation for academic character development. Using a quantitative approach, the research involved 30 postgraduate management students at Universitas PGRI Palembang. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale to measure three constructs: understanding of the philosophy of science, critical attitude, and academic ethics. Analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results show that understanding the philosophy of science has a positive and significant effect on students' critical attitudes. Students with deeper understanding demonstrate better logical, analytical, and reflective thinking. Moreover, it significantly influences academic ethics—those with philosophical awareness tend to uphold academic integrity and originality. These findings affirm that the philosophy of science serves not only as a conceptual framework but also as a tool for shaping students’ intellectual and moral qualities. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating philosophy of science into higher education curricula to foster critical thinking and ethical academic behavior among students

The development of the education curriculum in Indonesia reflects a paradigm shift in strengthening scientific literacy, which plays an important role in shaping critical thinking patterns and student analysis to face the challenges of the 21st century. This study aims to examine the development of the concept of scientific literacy in the Indonesian national curriculum policy from the era of the School Level Curriculum (KTSP), the 2013 Curriculum, to the Merdeka Curriculum. The study was conducted through a literature study method on 20 relevant scientific articles published in the period 2013 to 2025. The results of the study show that scientific literacy in the KTSP is still implicit, limited to contextual learning approaches and direct experience. In the 2013 Curriculum, strengthening scientific literacy began to be realized through a scientific approach that encouraged students to develop critical thinking skills, understand scientific concepts, and carry out scientific processes systematically. Further transformation is seen in the Merdeka Curriculum, where scientific literacy is not only focused on cognitive aspects, but is also linked to character values ​​and contextual problem solving through strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile and project-based learning. In general, this study concludes that there is a paradigm shift from knowledge-oriented science literacy to holistic and applied science literacy. This finding emphasizes the importance of continuity between policy curriculum, teacher professional development, and implementation of strategies in the field to optimize students' achievement of science literacy.

This research aims to: 1) Examine the content of the Tanwirul Qori' book used in teaching tajwid science at Madrasah Diniyah Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ulum Gandusari, 2) Determine the implementation of tajwid learning in improving the fluency of first-grade students at Madrasah Diniyah Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ulum Gandusari, 3) Determine the level of fluency of first-grade students at Madrasah Diniyah Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ulum Gandusari in reading the Al-Qur'an, and 4) Identify the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of tajwid learning in improving the fluency of first-grade students at Madrasah Diniyah Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ulum Gandusari. This research uses a qualitative field approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study include the caretaker of Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ulum Gandusari and ustadz/ustadzah teaching the Tanwirul Qori' book. Data analysis was carried out through stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the implementation of learning the Tanwirul Qori' book at this Madrasah involves several methods, such as lecture methods, rotating book readings, direct practice, and evaluation through questions and practical exams. These methods have proven effective in improving students' fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an. Students who previously did not understand the laws of tajwid, and some who did not even know the hijaiyah letters, experienced significant improvement after participating in learning with this book. More than 75% of students showed improved ability to read the Al-Qur'an according to the rules of tajwid science.

Evaluation plays a crucial role in supporting the science learning process (IPA) in schools. Through evaluation, educators can assess the level of success achieved during the teaching and learning process. Although the implementation of science learning evaluations varies between schools, this diversity results in a range of evaluation outcomes. This study aims to provide an overview of the evaluation patterns used in science education at the school level. It employs a qualitative approach through a literature review (library research), utilizing techniques such as reading, note-taking, and analyzing relevant sources. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that greater attention needs to be given to the evaluation process in science learning. A well-structured and properly implemented evaluation can enhance the effectiveness of learning while encouraging teachers to continually improve the quality of their instruction. Moreover, evaluation serves to foster student motivation and engagement in learning. Therefore, considering the significant benefits of evaluation in science education, teachers are advised to optimize each stage of the evaluation process in a comprehensive and continuous manner.

Numerical literacy is a fundamental skill that plays a crucial role in the learning process, particularly in the field of science, especially physics. However, the reality is that many freshmen struggle with numerical literacy. This significantly impacts their foundational mathematical skills, which can hinder the academic learning process. This community service activity aims to enhance the numerical literacy of freshmen in the Physics Department at the University of Lampung by utilizing interactive visual modules. The activity was conducted over two sessions in January 2025, involving 28 new students. The students were divided into heterogeneous groups to support collaborative learning. Pre-test and post-test assessments were conducted to measure the effectiveness of the modules. The results showed an average score improvement from 36.25% to 56.6%. Addionally, the satisfaction survey results showed positive responses regarding the module’s appearance, clarity and benefits. Based on this activity, it was concluded that collaborative learning supported by interactive visual media can enhance students numerical literacy skills.

Economics is a science that can be identified as an interactive process that equips students with knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to economic phenomena that occur in everyday life in society. However, in this economics learning does not always run smoothly there are also factors that cause student boredom that they feel, one of which is often sleepy and looks bored when the teacher teaches this lesson, Because the teaching methods applied by the teacher are not interesting enough for students, they become bored and have difficulty understanding the material presented. Therefore, teachers must develop appropriate methods so that students do not feel bored. This study aims to determine 1) The reasons behind the physical and mental conditions of class X students at MA Al Ma'arif Tulungagung during economics learning. 2) The approach taken by teachers to overcome student boredom in learning economics in class X MA Al Ma'arif Tulungagung. 3) The level of effectiveness of the teacher's approach in dealing with boredom in learning economics to improve student learning outcomes at MA Al Ma'arif Tulungagung. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. To collect data, this study applies observation, interview, and documentation techniques.

The low learning outcomes of students in Biology learning at SMA Negeri 1 Tutuyan is the background for the need for learning innovations that are able to increase active participation and conceptual understanding. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Group Investigation learning model in improving student learning outcomes in Cell materials. The research used a pseudo-experiment method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample amounted to 35 students from class XI Science who were selected purposefully. The instruments used were multiple-choice tests, pre-tests and post-tests of 25 questions for each test. The results showed an increase in the average score from 23.14 in the pre-test to 83.14 in the post-test. Inferential data analysis using the t-test showed a t-calculated value of 89.55, far above the t-table at a significance level of 5%. The category of student learning outcomes has also undergone significant changes, from a very low majority to a high and very high majority. The application of the Group Investigation model encourages students to be active in investigation, group discussions, and independent learning, which strengthens their collective and individual mastery of the material. These findings prove that the Group Investigation model is effective in improving learning outcomes, and can be implemented as a learning strategy in the Independent Learning Curriculum. This study contributes to the development of cooperative learning models in the context of Biology learning at the high school level, and can be replicated in other materials and levels to strengthen its effectiveness.

The low activity of students in biology learning is the main challenge in efforts to improve the quality of science learning in secondary schools. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the Project Based Learning learning model in increasing student activity and learning outcomes in respiratory system materials at SMA Negeri 2 Langowan. This research is a Class Action Research that is carried out in two cycles, each of which includes stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 13 students in grade XI. The instruments used include student activity observation sheets and the final test of the cycle based on description questions. The results showed that in the first cycle, only 38.46% of students achieved learning completeness with an average score of 60. However, after improving the strategy in cycle II through active mentoring, learning motivation, and strengthening group work, completeness increased to 92.30% with an average score of 84.69. These findings indicate that the Project Based Learning learning model is able to build student activeness through contextual, collaborative, and hands-on experience-based learning. The increase in activeness is reflected not only in test results, but also in students' active participation in discussions, group presentations, and project completion. The implications of this study show that Project Based Learning is feasible to be implemented as an innovative learning strategy to improve the quality of student interaction and engagement in biology learning on an ongoing basis.

The school actively participates in coaching and monitoring all student activities to avoid bullying, especially against educators. All student activities can also be reviewed in the coaching process, and parents are expected to provide guidance to prevent bullying that ultimately harms them. Ideally, this community service activity is to provide material about bullying. The purpose of this socialization activity is to help children at GKPS Elementary School in accordance with the character of a noble generation. In addition, this activity has the aim of being a synergy between teacher partners and schools in developing learning, and encouraging creativity and innovation in Hinaa. So that increased literacy and numeracy are achieved and bullying can not occur in elementary schools.

The purpose of this study was to improve the understanding of fourth grade students of SDN Kaliwates 2 Jember about the form of substances and their changes by using snakes and ladders educational game. The background of this research is the lack of interest, motivation, and learning outcomes of students on abstract science materials. The teaching model used integrates the snakes and ladders game with the question mechanics of the lesson, where students who land on a box labeled "boom" are required to answer questions from the material being taught.By integrating the snakes and ladders game with questions about the form of substances and their changes, students can learn actively. Advances in science and technology drive innovation in learning, especially through the optimization of learning media to foster students' interest in learning. This study aims to explore how the use of learning media can foster students' interest in learning at SMP Negeri 17 Batang Hari. The research approach is qualitative research with a case study approach, involving teachers and students as the main contributors. Information was collected through observation and in-depth interviews that focused on student engagement, material appeal, content clarity, learning motivation, digital interactivity, and changes in attitudes and values. The findings of this study indicate that learning media such as videos, images, animations, and digital applications can significantly increase student engagement and interest in learning. Visual aids enable students to understand abstract ideas in a more tangible way and facilitate the dissemination of content. Digital aids create an interactive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to be actively involved. Teachers also find these materials useful for clarifying exchanges, reducing words, and encouraging students to engage in structured reasoning. Learning Media not only improves academic achievement but also contributes to the emergence of values ​​such as collaboration, creativity, and digital ethics. This study concludes that optimizing learning media can produce a dynamic and relevant learning process, even though there are technical constraints in selecting learning tools that are tailored to student characteristics.

This study seeks to explore how the surrounding environment is utilized as a learning resource in science education at elementary schools and madrasah ibtidaiyah (SD/MI). A descriptive qualitative approach is applied, with data gathered through methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process involves stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that utilizing the surrounding environment enhances students' understanding of science concepts, improves learning motivation, and encourages scientific inquiry. Teachers use various natural objects such as plants, water sources, and weather phenomena as learning media. However, the research also identifies several challenges, including limited time allocation and lack of teacher creativity in optimizing environmental resources. Overall, the study concludes that integrating local environmental elements into science learning makes learning experiences more contextual, meaningful, and effective for elementary students.

Low motivation to learn and limited conceptual understanding are significant challenges in learning biology at the junior high school level, especially in abstract material on the classification of living things. This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of animated videos on student learning motivation and learning outcomes. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of one group pre-test and post-test was used in this study. The research sample consisted of 25 students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 East Likupang. Data was collected through observation sheets to assess learning motivation and pre-test and post-test tests to evaluate learning outcomes. The results of the observation showed that the average motivation of students reached 86.32% in the outstanding category. The average pre-test score of 59.57 increased to 81.09 on the post-test, indicating a significant improvement in concept comprehension. The t-test corroborates these findings with a significant value at a 95% confidence level. These results show that animated videos can present a visualization of complex concepts in an engaging and contextual way, thereby increasing students' focus, active participation, and absorption of the material. In addition, the use of this media also supports the development of students' collaborative skills and critical thinking. This research confirms that animated videos are a strategic alternative in effective science learning, especially in school environments with limitations of conventional visual media. It is suggested that the application of this media be expanded to various materials and levels of education.

The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of learning examples of the cooperative script learning model on students' social science, shows the impact on the learning achievement of  SMPN 32 Pekanbaru students.This is because students' lack of success in learning Social Studies. did not achieve who have not yet reached the KKTP score of 75 applied by the school. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method was used in this research. The population of this study was all the seventh-grade students, totaling 179 students. The sample size was 70 students: 35 of which were from class VII-2 (experimental group) and 35 of which were from class VII-4 (control group). The students were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data was collected using observation, testing, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques included normality tests, homogeneity tests, linearity tests, hypothesis tests, effect size tests, and N-gain score tests. It can be proven through and data analysis, learning methods nalysis, the cooperative script learning model could affect student achievement. The hypothesis test results proved this, as fobserved was higher than the critical value, 3.202 > 1.691, and the significance level was 0.05 or 5%.which explains that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) can be accepted and the conventional hypothesis (Ho) is rejected.

This study aims to improve the understanding of grade 5 MI Al-Barokah students about the learning media of the human digestive system through the application of visual media innovation. A qualitative approach was used in this study with observation techniques and analysis of the teaching and learning process. The results showed that the utilization of visual media was able to help students understand the interactive media learning of the human digestive system more optimally. Students can visually imagine the course of the digestive process and understand various related concepts more clearly. The findings also show that visual media can foster interest and increase student learning motivation. The implication of this study suggests that teachers consider using visual media as an alternative learning strategy in con veying scientific concepts. The purpose of this study is to examine how fourth-grade students at MI Al Barokah An Nur Jember use teaching aids to learn about the excretory system. A qualitative descriptive method was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that teaching aids are crucial in helping students understand the components of the excretory system in more detail. The tools used include replicas of human excretory organs, such as the kidneys and lungs. Teaching aids serve as visual media used by teachers to attract students' attention and enhance their engagement in the learning process. They also stimulate students' motivation to learn and assist them in retaining the concepts being taught. Therefore, teaching aids have proven to be beneficial in supporting science learning in the fourth grade at MI Al Barokah An Nur Jember.

This research is motivated by the discovery of several problems in learning Social Sciences at MTs Asy-Syafiiyah Gondang Tulungagung. This greatly influences the learning process for both teachers and students in the subject of Social Sciences. The purpose of this study is: To determine the problems faced in the process of learning Social Studies at MTs Asy-Syafiiyah Gondang Tulungagung in the 2024/2025 Academic Year along with efforts to overcome problems in the process of learning Social Studies at MTs Asy-Syafiiyah Gondang Tulungagung. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method using in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation as a form of data collection, data sources in the study. The problems faced in the Social Studies learning process include learning methods that are less interesting and interactive, lack of learning motivation from students, lack of training or workshops for teachers, limited supporting facilities in the learning process, and less than optimal learning evaluation.

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of parenting patterns on student learning outcomes, especially in terms of increasing students' enthusiasm, independence, and interest in learning activities. This study focuses on parental involvement in supporting student learning activities at home and its impact on academic achievement. By identifying the types of parenting patterns and their impacts, it is hoped that this study can provide useful understanding for parents, educators, and schools to build constructive cooperation between families and educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative method through a literature review approach. The data used comes from trusted databases such as Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus which are sources of information in the form of articles, journals, books, and other scientific publications. The literature reviewed was selected based on the following criteria: published in the last 10 years and discusses the impact of parenting patterns on student learning outcomes. The findings of this study reveal that parenting patterns are a key factor in determining learning outcomes. Supportive and participatory parenting patterns shape positive attitudes, high motivation, and learning responsibilities in children. Active parental involvement is a major element in students' academic success.

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Sula Islands, an educational institution located in the archipelago with its own geographical characteristics and challenges. The focus of this study is to assess the effectiveness of curriculum implementation in shaping a flexible, participatory, and contextual learning experience. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data was collected through questionnaires of school principals, vice principals for curriculum and student affairs, and grade XI science and social studies students. The results of the study showed that all respondents from school management gave an assessment of the "Very Good" category to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. Meanwhile, students in grade XI Science gave 92% of responses in the "Very Good" category, and students in grade XI Social Studies recorded 74% in the same category, with a small percentage being in the "Poor" category. These findings indicate that the Independent Curriculum approach that emphasizes project-based learning, learning differentiation, and formative assessment has been successfully adapted effectively by teachers and students. Teacher training support, availability of facilities, and adaptation to the local context have all contributed to this success. The implications of this study show that the Independent Curriculum can be effectively implemented in the archipelago if supported by visionary school leadership and continuous training. This study makes an empirical contribution to the national education reform literature and opens further research opportunities on curriculum adaptation in the 3T region.

  This study aims to analyze student activities and learning outcomes in the learning of Spermatophyta sub-material through practicum activities based on Exploring the Environment at SMP Negeri 4 Manado. The background of this study is based on the need for a contextual approach to biology learning and being able to increase student engagement actively. The method used was quantitative descriptive research with survey techniques, involving 20 grade VII students and 2 science teachers as respondents. The research instrument consisted of a closed questionnaire, an open interview, and an observation sheet. The questionnaire results showed that students responded very well to this learning method, with an average score of 83.4%. At the same time, teachers rated this approach as effective, with an average of 88%. Observations showed that students were active in practicum activities, enthusiastic in making observations, and involved in group discussions. The interview revealed that this environment-based learning strengthens students' understanding of biological concepts and increases scientific curiosity. The obstacles found include the accuracy of recording and the inequality of roles in group work. However, overall, exploring the Surroundings-based learning has been proven to positively impact student engagement and understanding, especially in connecting theory with real objects in the surrounding environment. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of applying contextual approaches in biology learning and suggest improving guidance strategies and recording of observations in the field for more optimal learning effectiveness.
