The research aims to find out how much influence the application of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) type cooperative learning model has on the active learning of Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence of the Student Teams Achievement (STAD) type cooperative learning model on the active learning of Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. Descriptive and inferential quantitative research methods. The population of all class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 109 people. The sample was random (random sampling) namely 50% of the total population, namely 55 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value of rcount=0.574>rtabel=0.226 and tcount=5.103>ttable=2.00575 shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) type cooperative learning model and active learning in Christian Religious Education and student character. b) Regression equation. c) The determination test shows that the magnitude of the effect is 32.95%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=25.751>Ftable=3.15 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) type cooperative learning model on the learning activity of Christian Religious Education and Characteristics for class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The purpose of this study is to determine the Effectiveness of Visual Learning Activity in Christian Religious Education through the Application of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition Learning Model for Grade XI Students of SMA Negeri 2 Pematang Siantar for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with the statistics of the Pre-Experimental The One Shot Case Study. The population is all students in grade XI of SMA Negeri 2 Pematang Siantar and a sample of 31 people with purposive sampling techniques or samples taken intentionally. Data was collected with a questionnaire of 26 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is an Effectiveness of Visual Learning Activity in Christian Religious Education through the Application of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition Learning Model for Grade XI Students of SMA Negeri 2 Pematang Siantar for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The analysis requirements test are –ttable = -2.042 > tcal = 9.856 > ttable = 2.042. It is known that the tcount value is at the area of rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the Effectiveness of Visual Learning Activity of Christian Religious Education through the implementation of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition Learning Model, which is 86.55 in the post-test and 69.32 in the pre-test in Grade XI Students of SMA Negeri 2 Pematang Siantar for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the demonstration method on students' active learning in the Christian Religious Education and Character Education subjects in class VII SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research uses a quantitative approach with inferential statistical analysis techniques. The population is all class VII students at SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians, totaling 123 people and a sample of 37 people was determined, namely 30% of the population using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 31 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the demonstration method on students' active learning in the Christian Religious Education and Character Education subjects in class VII SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test a positive relationship obtained rxy value = 0.503 > rtable(a=0.05,n=37) = 0.325, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable 0.05,dk=n-2=35)= 2.042, thus there is a significant relationship between variable "+0.46X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 25.3%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(a=0.05, dk numerator k=13, dk denominator=n-2=37-2=35) namely 11.84 > 2.09. Thus, Ha, that is, there is a positive and significant influence of the demonstration method on students' active learning in the Christian Religious Education and Character Education subjects for class VII SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the talking stick learning model on the active learning of Christian Religious Education for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research uses a quantitative approach with inferential descriptive data analysis. The population is all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year, 256 Protestant Christians and a sample of 48 people, namely 20%, was determined using random sampling. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the talking stick learning model on the learning activity of Christian Religious Education for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test a positive relationship with a value of rxy = 0.550 > rtable(α=0.05,n=48) = 0.284, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable dk=n-2=46)= 2.021, thus there is a significant relationship between variable b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 30.3%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(α=0.05, dk numerator k=24, dk denominator=n-2=48-2=46) namely 19.95 > 1.51. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence on the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year. Quantitative descriptive research method with inferential statistical data analysis. The population of all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 108 people. The sample was random (random sampling) namely 50% of the total population, namely 54 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value rcount=0.684>rtabel=0.226 and tcount=6.762>ttable=2.00665 shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers and students' interest in learning. b) Regression equation. c) The determination test revealed that the magnitude of the effect was 46.79%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=45.306>Ftable=3.15 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The purpose of this study was to determine the positive and significant influence between the Influence of the Problem Based Learning Model Based on the Independent Curriculum on Increasing Motivation to Learn Christian Religious Education and Character Education of Class X Students of SMA Negeri 1 Pematang Siantar in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The research method used is a quantitative method with descriptive inferential data analysis. The population is all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Pematang Siantar who are Protestant Christians, totaling 372 people and a sample of 52 people is determined using the sample random sampling technique. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire of 44 items, namely 22 items for variable X and 22 items for variable Y. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence of the Problem Based Learning Model Based on the Independent Curriculum on Increasing Motivation to Learn Christian Religious Education and Character Education of Class X Students of SMA Negeri 1 Pematang Siantar in the 2023/2024 Academic Year, as evidenced by the following data analysis: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy value = 0.612> rtable (a=0,05,n=52) = 0.297. b) Significant relationship test obtained tcount value = 5.600> ttable (a=0,05,dk=n-2=50)= 2.000. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y ̂="36.60" + 0.45X. b) Test of regression determination coefficient (r2) = 38.5%. 3) Hypothesis test using F test obtained Fcount > Ftable = =(a=0,05,dk numerator k=33,dk denominator t=n-2=52-2=50) which is 31.29 > 1.51. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a difference in the learning activity of students who use the reciprocal teaching model compared to conventional ones in class VIII Christian Religious Education and Character education at SMP Negeri 2 Pollung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is: "The Reciprocal Teaching Model has a positive and significant effect on the Learning Activeness of Christian Religious Education and Character Education Students in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Pollung for the 2023/2024 Academic Year." The population is all students who are Protestant Christians in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Pollung which consists of 6 classes totaling 180 students. The research sample was determined using the Purposive Sampling technique, namely 30 students in class VIII5 as the experimental class which used the reciprocal teaching model and 30 students in class VIII4 as the control class which used ordinary treatment (conventional class). This research method is the Quasi Experimental Design method using a Nonequivalent Control Design. The instrument used in this research was a test with 30 items. Research data for the questionnaire was analyzed using the average difference test formula (N-Gain Score). It was found that the average value for the experimental class was 0.6370 in the medium category, while the average value for the control class was 0.2531. in the low category so it is known that increasing the Learning Activeness of Class VIII Christian Religious Education and Character Education students at SMP Negeri 2 Pollung for the 2023/2024 academic year is more effective using the Reciprocal Teaching model than using conventional treatment. Then carrying out an independent test using the t test obtained a value of t = 7.040 > t table (α = 0.05; df = 58) = 2,000. Thus, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a difference in the learning activity of students before and after learning with the Reciprocal Teaching Model in Learning Christian Religious Education and Character Education for Class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pollung for the 2023/2024 Academic Year and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of Religious Education Teachers' Communication Skills on the Effectiveness of Students' Learning in Religious Education and Character Subjects in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Balige for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The method used in this research is an inferential quantitative method. The population was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Balige who were Protestant Christians, totaling 227 people, and the research sample was determined to be 56 people, namely 25% of the total population. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 44 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence on the communication skills of PAK teachers on the effectiveness of students' learning in the PAK and Character subjects for Class VIII at SMP Negeri 2 Balige for the 2023/2024 academic year, proven through the following data analysis: 1) Requirement test analysis: a) a positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0.520 > ttable(a=0.05,n=56) = 0.226, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) A significant relationship test was obtained tcount= 4.479 > ttabel(a=0,05,dk=n-2=54))= 2.000, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Test the effect: a) Test the regression equation, obtain the regression equation Y ̂="21.41"+0.48X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 27.1%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable =(a=0.05, dk numerator k=29, dk denominator=n-2=56-2=54) namely 20.01 > 1.39. Thus it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The role of Christian religious education teachers is crucial in guiding teenagers to use gadgets wisely and in line with Christian teachings. Uncontrollable use of gadgets can lead to addiction, which in turn can damage the understanding of Christian values and moral behavior of adolescents. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Christian Religious Education Teachers in Preventing Gadget Addiction in Teenagers. The results of this study show that (1) Christian Religious Education teachers have a very important role in helping adolescents understand and overcome the problem of gadget addiction through moral and spiritual education based on biblical values. (2) Christian Religious Education teachers need to collaborate with parents in preventing and overcoming gadget addiction in adolescents (3) Christian Religious Education teachers, play a role in guiding adolescents in dealing with the use of gadgets wisely, as well as highlighting strategies that can be used to achieve this goal including effective communication. Thus, Christian Religious Education Teachers as a foundation in overcoming and building awareness of adolescents so that adolescents are not affected in the excessive use of gadgets.

In order for students to achieve the best learning outcomes, they must be involved in their studies and confident. Combining the debate method and the Number Head method together is one of the useful strategies to increase self-confidence and activity. If the Number Head Together method encourages students to actively participate in their education, the debate method seeks to develop students' self-confidence in voicing their opinions. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the influence of the experimental class and the control class. The Independent T-Test and Test 3 (Hotteling's T2 Test) were used in experimental research and hypothesis testing. From the first hypothesis test, the Sig value was produced. 0.068> 0.05, which means that there is no effect of learning with a combination of the Number Head Together - Debate Method and learning without treatment on student learning activity. While the results of the second Hypothesis test show a Sig value. 0.416> 0.05, namely there is no effect of learning with a combination of the Number Head Together - Debate Method on student self-confidence. And the results of the Hotteling T2 test show that the ρ-value for learning activity is 0.342 > 0.05, meaning that there is no difference in the average learning activity between students from both classes. The ρ-value for self-confidence is 0.049 < 0.05, meaning that there is a difference in the average self-confidence between students from both classes.

Based on the observation, a problem was found regarding the lack of interest in learning Christian Religious Education and Character Education in class V of SD Negeri 174552 Tambunan. This is due to the difficulty of students in understanding the learning material. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning using visual media compared to learning using conventional media. The type of experimental research used is Quasi Experiment. Class V-A is the experimental class and class V-B is the control class. The dependent variable in this study is the interest in learning Christian Religious Education and Character Education and the independent variable is visual media. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The results of the study used data from the initial test scores (Pretest) and the final test (Posttest). The results of the study showed that the use of visual media in the experimental class was more effective than the use of conventional learning media in the control class. The results of the t-test in the experimental class showed tcount (7.74) > ttable (2.01) H0 was rejected. The results of the t-test in the control class showed tcount (0.52) < ttable (2.01) H0 was accepted. Then N-Gain obtained the average N-Gain in the experimental class 0.37, in the control class the average N-Gain 0.03. The results of the N-Gain t-test of the experimental and control classes showed t count (10.29) > t table (2.01) H0 was rejected. The conclusion of this study is that learning using visual media is more effective than learning using conventional media.

Tulisan ini membahas tentang konsep kelahiran baru dan kedewasaan rohani dalam pandangan pendidikan agama Kristen, dengan fokus pada ayat-ayat Alkitab seperti 1 Yohanes 3:9 dan 1 Timotius 4:12-14. Kelahiran baru dalam Kristus menandai transformasi spiritual yang mendalam, yang menciptakan identitas baru sebagai anak-anak Allah. Konsep ini memiliki implikasi signifikan dalam pendidikan agama Kristen, di mana transformasi ini harus tercermin dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seorang Kristen, termasuk dalam cara mereka bertindak dan berbicara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksegesis untuk memahami makna mendalam dari ayat-ayat Alkitab terkait. Analisis eksegetis menunjukkan bahwa kelahiran baru menuntut perubahan etis dan hidup yang mencerminkan sifat Allah yang kudus. Selain itu, kedewasaan rohani diartikan sebagai kemampuan untuk menjadi teladan dalam perkataan, tingkah laku, kasih, kesetiaan, dan kesucian, seperti yang diajarkan Paulus kepada Timotius. Hasil dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendidikan agama Kristen dalam membentuk individu yang tidak hanya memahami doktrin, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Pendidikan ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan generasi muda Kristen yang dewasa secara rohani, mampu menghadapi tantangan dunia dengan dasar iman yang kuat, dan berperan aktif dalam transformasi spiritual komunitas mereka.

Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebijakan Kementerian Agama tentang Kartu Indonesia Pintar afirmasi putra putri Papua untuk perguruan tinggi keagamaan Kristen swasta. Metode yang digunakan  adalah metode kepustakaan, yakni  mengkaji dari dokumen-dokumen serta artikel ilmiah yang terkait dengan arah kajian ini. Maka hasil analisis dari kajian ini adalah 1). Komitmen pemerintah. Program ini menunjukkan komitmen kuat pemerintah dalam memajukan pendidikan di Papua khususnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia; 2). Pentingnya peran pendidikan. Pendidikan tinggi merupakan salah satu kunci untuk memutus rantai kemiskinan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Papua; 3). Partisipasi aktif. Diperlukan partisipasi aktif semua pihak, baik pemerintah, swasta, dan masyarakat Papua, agar program ini berhasil; dan 4). Harapan untuk masa depan. Program ini diharapkan dapat melahirkan generasi muda Papua yang tangguh, mandiri dan mampu membawa perubahan positif bagi Papua dan Indonesia.

Era digital membawa perubahan signifikan dalam kehidupan remaja, termasuk bagaimana mereka memahami identitas diri. Pendidikan Kristen memiliki peran penting dalam membimbing dan mendampingi remaja untuk memahami identitas mereka berdasarkan nilai-nilai Kristen di tengah tantangan dan pengaruh kuat media sosial. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tantangan pendidikan Kristen dalam membantu para remaja Kristen menghadapi krisis identitas diri di era digital, dengan studi kasus di salah satu SMP Kristen di Gading Serpong. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus tunggal. Subjek penelitian ini ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang dibutuhkan dikumpulkan melalui proses wawancara, kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan proses trangulasi sumber. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya dampak krisis identitas diri yang dialami remaja, meliputi dampak pada kerpercayaan diri, kehidupan sosial dan prestasi akademik remaja. Jalinan kerjasama yang terikat secara disiplin dan konsisten dari pihak keluarga dan sekolah dapat membantu siswa menghadapi krisis identitas di era digital.

The purpose of this study was to determine the positive and significant influence of the Exemplary Christian Education Teacher on the Character of Class X Students of SMK Negeri 1 Raya, Simalungun Regency in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The research method used was a quantitative method with descriptive statistics. The population was 159 Protestant Christian students of class X of SMK Negeri 1 Raya, Simalungun Regency in the 2023/2024 Academic Year and a sample of 40 people was determined using a random sampling technique. Data were collected using a positive closed questionnaire of 39 items, namely 20 items for variable X and 19 items for variable Y. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence of the Exemplary Christian Religious Education Teachers on the Character of Class X Students of SMK Negeri 1 Raya, Simalungun Regency in the 2023/2024 Academic Year, as evidenced by the following data analysis: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) Positive relationship test obtained rxy value = 0.479> rtable ( = 0.05, n = 40) = 0.312. b) Significant relationship test obtained tcount = 3.364> ttable ( = 0.05, dk = n-2 = 38) = 2.021. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test Y ̂="2.85" + 0.79X. b) Regression determination coefficient test (r2) = 22.9%. 3) Hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable = ( = 0.05, df numerator k = 13, df denominator = n-2 = 40-2 = 38) which is 11.3 > 2.00. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Christian Religious Education and Ethics is the government's effort through education to have a good impact on students' personality ethics. However, in the development of today's times, the ethics of students' personalities are getting worse so that they cause deviations. That is what makes the author feel interested and encouraged to conduct research on the relationship between Christian Religious Education and Ethics with the personality ethics of SMP Negeri 4 Balige students in 2024. This study aims to determine the relationship between Christian Religious Education and Ethics with the personality ethics of students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Balige in 2024. The research method used is a quantitative approach with inferential statistical data analysis. The population in this study is all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Balige which totals 208 students consisting of seven classes. Sampling in this study uses the probability sampling technique, which provides the same opportunity for each population to be selected as a sample member. The sample of this study was 62 people. The results of the research obtained using the r test are r_(count) > r_(table), which is 0.658 > 0.254 and the t-test t_(count) > t_(table), which is 6.769 > 2,000, it shows that there is a strong, positive and significant relationship between Christian Religious Education and Ethics and the personality ethics of students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Balige in 2024. In the determination coefficient test, data results of 43.3% were obtained which could be explained by Christian Religious Education and Ethics, while 56.7% were explained by other variables that were not researched by the researcher. This study is a recommendation for future researchers to research other variables related to student personality ethics using research methods and data collection tools that are more optimal.

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between the Project Based Learning learning model in increasing the learning creativity of Christian Religious Education for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Purba. The method used in this research is an inferential descriptive quantitative method. The population was all class VIII students from class VIII-1 to VIII-6 who were Protestant Christians, totaling 155 people and a sample of 39 people was determined using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 34 items, namely 16 items for variable proven by data analysis as follows: 1) positive relationship test obtained value rxy = 0.488 > r table(a=0.05,n=39) = 0.316 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y, and the value rxy 0.488 if classified into the correlation coefficient is in the medium category. 2) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of tcount= 3.397 > t table(a=0.05,dk=n-2=37)=2.021, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. So Ha says there is a positive relationship and the significance of the Project Based Learning model in increasing the Learning Creativity of Christian Religious Education for Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Purba was accepted and H0 which said there was no relationship was rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of students' interest in learning using the demonstration method. The research hypothesis is: "There is a difference in students' interest in learning in class VIII SMP N 4 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year before and after learning using the demonstration method. The population is all class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Siborongborong, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year with 206 Protestant Christians consisting of 7 classes. The research sample was determined using the Purposive Sampling technique, namely 35 students in class VIII 3 as the experimental class using the demonstration method and class VIII 5 totaling 35 students as the control class using ordinary treatment (conventional class). This research method is the Quasy Experimental Design method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The instrument used in this research was a 30-item questionnaire. Research data for the questionnaire was analyzed using the average difference test formula (N-Gain Score). It was found that the average value for the experimental class was 0.7454 in the high category. And the average value for the control class is 0.1481, which is in the low category. Then carrying out an independent test using the t test obtained a value of t = 15.168 > t table (α = 0.05; df = 68) = 2,000. Thus, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a difference in students' interest in learning in class VIII of SMP N 4 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year before and after learning using the demonstration method.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the Problem Posing cooperative learning model on active learning in Christian Religious Education for class XI students at SMAN 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is a quantitative method with inferential statistics. The population is all class students. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 38 items, namely 20 items for the 2023/2024 school year variables, proven through data analysis as follows: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) Positive relationship test obtained with rxy = 0.529 > rtable (α=0.05; CI=95%; n=63) = 0.24. b) the significant relationship test obtained tcount = 4.865 > ttable(α=0.05, dk=n-2=61) = 1.9996. 2) Influence test: a) regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="26.24"+0.46X. b) regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 27.9%. 3) hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable (α=0.05, dk numerator k-28, dk denominator=n-2=63-2=61) namely 23.73 > 1.66. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence between the Personality Competencies of Christian Religious Education Teachers on the Learning Interest of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Porsea, Toba Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive inferential type. The population is all 194 students of SMP Negeri 2 Porsea, Toba Regency, 2023/2024 academic year and a sample of 58 people was determined using random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items, namely 23 items for variable Toba for the 2023/2024 Academic Year is shown through: 1) Test of analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained by rxy = 0.802 > rtable (α=0.05; IK=95%; n=58) = 0.254. b) a significant relationship test is obtained from the value of tcount = 10.037 > ttable = 2.000. 2) influence test: a) regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Ŷ = 24.713 (α) + 0.456 (X). b) regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 64.3%. 3) hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable=(α=0.05, dk numerator n-1=57, dk denominator=n-2=58-2=56) namely 100.739 > 1.555. Thus, H0 which states there is no influence is rejected and Ha which states there is an influence is accepted.
