This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach, which aims to describe the phenomenon of slang use on TikTok. Data was collected through a closed questionnaire asking respondents' opinions, views and comments on the use of slang. The results show that the use of slang on TikTok influences daily language use, with respondents using slang more than good and correct Indonesian. This research provides an in-depth insight into how slang develops on digital platforms and how it affects adolescents' communication and social identity. The findings are expected to inform further discussions on the balance between the adoption of slang and standardized and correct Indonesian.

This research aims to examine the influence of the Mobile Legend game and social media on changes in the use of Indonesian among teenagers. Using an online survey method with a quantitative and qualitative approach, data was obtained from a survey of 34 teenagers aged 12-21 years. The research results showed that as many as 47.05% of respondents felt that playing Mobile Legends made them use harsh language more often, both when playing games and in daily interactions with friends or family. As many as 47.05% of respondents stated that they often used harsh language. slang and abbreviations in daily conversations, as many as 42.6% of respondents are aware of maintaining a balance between the use of slang and standard language. As many as 29.4% of respondents feel more comfortable and use slang more often due to the influence of social media. This research concludes that the Mobile Legend game and social media have a significant influence on the use of informal language and foreign terms among teenagers, which has an impact on their ability to speak formal language.

Globalization brings many influences and changes in human life. The rapid dissemination of information obtained through social media can cause change. X account @discountfess as a forum that favolitates the dissemination of information quickly and widely can influence a person's behavior, one of wich is consumprive behavior. This study aims to describe the consumptive behavior of folllwers account @discountfess at social media X, using a descriptive method of quantitative approach. Sampling was accidental sampling with 96 followers @discountfess account. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaire, documentation and literature study. The results show that the consumptive behavior of followers account @discountfess that causes impulsive purchases in the moderate category of 57%, irrational purchase in the moderate category with a percentage 60% and waste in the high category with a percentage 52%.

This article discusses the role of social media in catechesis to build faith in the digital age. The digital age has brought about major changes in the way we communicate and access information. Social media, as a product of the digital technology revolution, has become a highly efficient and effective means of communication, connecting individuals around the world quickly and easily. The Catholic Church views social media as an important tool for evangelization, faith formation, and spreading the values of love and truth. Through social media, the Church can influence more people to take the message of Christ to different corners of the world and offer new opportunities for catechesis to reach out to people and nurture their faith. Digital catechesis is a very effective tool in educating and deepening the faith of the people, creating a lively and dynamic atmosphere of faith. The church has an important role in guiding its people to integrate their faith in digital life, making technology a tool to strengthen faith and Christian values. This article provides some suggestions for the effective use of social media in catechesis, such as the development of innovative catechesis programs, digital education for parishioners, collaboration with communities and technologists, and evaluation of the impact of social media use. In this strategy, the Church can utilize social media to strengthen the faith of the people and create a more faithful and dignified community in the digital age.

especially among young people. However, the use of social media can also cause various problems, including the use of unethical language. This research discusses the influence of poor Indonesian language etiquette on social media on individuals. In this research, researchers used descriptive methods to identify language errors that occur on social media, especially on Instagram. The research results show that the use of Indonesian on social media often experiences errors in spelling, diction and grammatical structure. These mistakes can lead to misunderstandings and ineffective use of language. Apart from that, this research also found that the use of Indonesian on social media often experiences variations in Indonesian with English, slang and local regional languages. The conclusion of this research shows that the unethical use of Indonesian on social media can have a negative impact on individuals. Therefore, more awareness and attention is needed in using Indonesian on social media in order to communicate effectively and not cause misunderstandings.

Christian ethics is the moral code followed by Christians, rooted in the teachings of God's word. The Bible serves as the cornerstone of God's teachings, providing guidance for Christian individuals living according to the principles of God's Kingdom. The tragedy of Vina Cirebon, a 16 year old girl who was brutally murdered by eleven people in 2016. The media actually used framing to present the case, which led to the creation of a film entitled "Vina: Sebelum 7 Hari." This film attempts to raise awareness about violence and sexual exploitation, as well as to reopen the case, and look for three identified criminals. Anggy Umbara defended the depiction of the subject in the film. However, the film received criticism for its depiction of the subject, leading to a lack of moral support and a reversal of the issue. This research uses qualitative research methods, such as Robert N Entman's framing analysis, to investigate this problem. This research aims to explore the media portrayal of this case and its impact on public perceptions of this issue. This research also aims to understand the role of the media in shaping public perceptions of this issue.

The spread of hoaxes on social media has become a serious problem in society. This research aims to analyze the factors that cause the spread of hoaxes, the characteristics of hoax content, a well as their impact on society. The research method used is the study of literature and content analysis from various online news sources. The results showed that the main factors of the spread of hoaxes were lack of digital literacy., economic motivation, and political polarization. Hoax content generally spreads quickly, has sensational titles, and contains inaccurate information. The impact of hoaxes on society includes confusion, social conflict, and a decline in public trust. This research concludes that comprehensive efforts from the government, media, and the public are needed to overcome the hoax problem. This research aims to analyze the causes, patterns of spread, and the impact of hoaxes on social media on the community. The research methods used are literature studies and content analysis from various trusted sources. Patterns of spreading hoaxes generally utilize sicial media algorithms to achieve a wide reach quickly. The negative impact of  hoaxes on society is very diverse, ranging from triggering social confilcts, affecting public opinion, to threatening political stability and national security. This shows the urgency of handing hoaxes comprehensively, involving the role of government, social media platforms, and the public.

This research was motivated by the discovery of problems related to promotion via social media Instagram and electric word of mouth (ewom) on the decision to visit the documentation center. The aim of this research is to find out and describe the influence of promotion via social media Instagram and electric word of mouth (ewom) on the decision to visit the documentation center. The type of research used is quantitative with a causal associative approach. The type of data used in this research is primary and secondary data. The population of this research is visitors to the Minangkabau culture of PDIKM Padang City. The research sample consisted of 103 consumers with a sampling technique using non-probability sampling using purposive sampling. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data from this research were processed using SPSS 25.00. The results of this research show that promotion via social media Instagram is in the sufficient category with a value of 3.40, then the electric word of mouth (ewom) variable is in the sufficient category with a value of 3.40, and the decision variable to visit the documentation center is in the sufficient category with a value of 3.40. value of 3.40. The influence of promotion via social media, Instagram and electric word of mouth (ewom) on the decision to visit the documentation center with an adjusted R Square of 49.3% and 50.7% influenced by other factors.

The use of social media does provide many positive benefits, especially Instagram, but it does not rule out the possibility that there are also a number of negative impacts such as ethical violations by using this platform to spread hoaxes, slander, insults, insults and so on. other harsh language, even to the point of being used for free advertising. . For this reason, all advertisers must uphold the Advertising Ethics that have been established in a guideline, namely the Indonesian Advertising Ethics (EPI). Indonesian Advertising Ethics (EPI) functions as a guideline for advertising in Indonesia, as well as a guideline in discussing these issues. One of the Instagram posts made by Holywings was the subject of qualitative research using content analysis techniques this time. The aim of this research is to determine the form of advertising for Holywings free drinks, what violations Holywings has committed, and the impact caused by Holywings' violations of advertising ethics on Instagram. The results obtained from this research are that there are ethical violations in advertising on Instagram social media carried out by Holywings, including violations involving content that offends SARA and illegal content. So that the impact of advertising ethics violations committed by Holywings can be studied.

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of TikTok social media on student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects at UPT SDN 12 Arungkeke, Jeneponto Regency. This type of research is quantitative survey/expost facto research. Research procedures include the conceptual phase, design and planning phase, creating instruments and collecting research data, empirical phase, analytical phase (analyzing data and calculating research data results), and dissemination phase (designing research results). The research results show that the T test Judging from the value of Tcount (89.584) > Ttable (1.713) or the significant probability value of 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that social media Tik Tok (X) has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes (Y). Based on student learning results and tests carried out by researchers, it can be seen that social media Tik Tok has an influence on student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects at UPT SDN 12 Arungkeke, Jeneponto Regency.

The remaining food waste in Indonesia reaches around 46.35 million tons, with economic losses reaching 23 million to 48 million tons per year. This condition has led to various campaigns to reduce food waste from people concerned about the problem of food waste. However, the increase in food waste campaigns has yet to be accompanied by a decrease in the volume of food waste in Indonesia. This research aims to determine public sentiment toward food waste campaigns on Instagram social media and determine the accuracy of the methods used in data classification. The method used is the Naïve Bayes Classifier method. The results obtained were from a total of 118 data regarding the food waste campaign; 79% data showed that the public had a positive sentiment, and 21% other data had a negative sentiment. The accuracy results of using sentiment analysis were 78.94%; this shows that the performance of the Naïve Bayes method in classifying data is quite good.

The school environment requires each other to interact and communicate every day. The problem in research is that deaf students who have hearing impairments need knowledge to be able to coexist with society. Teachers really need the right communication approach so that students can understand what is being conveyed so that there will be a reciprocal relationship between the two. The purpose of this research is to determine teachers' communication approaches in social interactions with deaf students. This research explains how a communication approach is important in the social interactions of deaf students through interactions in classroom learning and also in the school environment. This research uses qualitative research methods using Burgoon's interaction adaptation theory which discusses nine principles in adaptation. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of this research are that adaptation in the communication approach in social interaction of deaf students requires adapting interaction patterns, varying distance patterns and strategies as well as the importance of behavior in adaptation. Apart from that, in the communication approach the teacher determines communication media in the learning process in the classroom and provides direction to students to increase social interaction. Learning to develop sound and rhythm perception as well as speech development, these activities are efforts made by the school to increase social interaction for deaf students. Communication patterns in teaching at SLB B YPAC Palembang are two-way communication.

Social media has become a crucial platform for Generation Z to stay updated on the latest trends and access information. The influence of influencers and celebrities on social media often encourages Generation Z to participate in these trends, even if it means compromising their financial stability. This study aimed to investigate the extent to which the fear of missing out (FoMO) affects Generation Z's financial well-being. Using a quantitative approach and comparative causal research method, 101 Generation Z respondents were involved in the study. The analysis revealed that FoMO has a significant impact on Generation Z's financial health, including the use of debt to keep up with the latest trends, which can ultimately lead to serious financial problems. The results showed that the fear of missing out on social media significantly contributes to the financial health of Generation Z, with a regression equation of Y = 39.220 - 0.572 X and a significance value (p) of 0.000 (less than 0.05), indicating that the hypothesis is accepted. In other words, the fear of missing out on social media has a significant negative impact on the financial health of Generation Z, accounting for 48.3% of the financial health of Generation Z

The use of a well-known and respected individual in the realms of art, entertainment, athletics, or public relations to promote a product or service is known as a celebrity endorsement. Finding out how much of an impact Blackpink endorsers and Instagram ads have on consumers' propensity to buy is the driving force behind this study. Dark-skinned Oreos. Descriptive quantitative research using survey methodologies is used. One hundred students from UPN Surabaya made up the group surveyed for this study. Probability sampling using a simple random sample approach is used in the sampling process. Primary data is used in this study data gathering approach. Based on the study findings, the celebrity endorser variable is statistically significant (p < 0.05) with a t-value of 2.993 > 0.05. With a sig value of 0.015 < 0.05 and a computed t value of 2.483 > t table 1.985, the advertising attractiveness variable is statistically significant (t table 1.985). The findings indicate that the significance level is less than 0.05, with a F value of 26,720, which is more than the number in the F table, which is 3.09. The R-squared value is 0.355 and the multiple correlation result is 0.596. Celebrity endorsements, the beauty of Instagram ads, and the attractiveness of Instagram ads all had a role in influencing consumers' choices to buy Blackpink Oreos.

This study discusses the empowerment of Islamic boarding schools in optimizing communication activities through socialization of bullying behavior prevention among students of Al-Bunyan Islamic Boarding School. The focus of research is the role of pesantren as educational institutions that can significantly influence the character and behavior of students. Through the implementation of structured socialization programs, pesantren seeks to raise awareness of the negative impact of bullying and create a supportive and respectful environment. Qualitative methods were used in the study, including interviews, observation, and documentation, to evaluate the effectiveness of the initiative. The research findings show that targeted communication and socialization activities in the context of pesantren can effectively reduce the incidence of bullying, encourage positive interactions between students, and improve the overall welfare of students. This study emphasizes the importance of active involvement and tailored interventions in the educational environment to overcome and reduce bullying behavior as well as the use of digital media as an innovation in curriculum development.

The use of social media is already powerful and difficult to avoid. Social media users are not only limited to the general public, but also public figures and even economic actors who use social media as a means of marketing. In every post from the account owner, there will always be followers who can give likes and comments. Unfortunately, not all comments are related to the uploaded post. One of the most annoying comments is spam comments. Spam comments are comments that are not clear and contain about business (promos / selling), links or various other things that are promoting something. Using the Naive Bayes algorithm, this study wants to identify spam comments, especially on Instagram social media. Where the data is retrieved using the tools provided by Google. Which is then processed with the Rapidminer application to get the Naive Bayes calculation results.

This study discusses the influence of social media in raising awareness among coastal communities regarding natural disasters. The rapid development of information and digital technology, which benefits all individuals, has now extended its benefits to various societal elements such as urban, mountainous, and coastal communities. The openness of information implemented by the government exemplifies the role of social media in enhancing the awareness of coastal communities towards natural disasters. Through qualitative analysis and interviews or discussions with members of coastal communities to obtain qualitative information about their experiences regarding disaster information received through social media, this research explores how social media can influence the understanding and responses of communities to disasters in coastal areas. The results of this study are expected to provide knowledge and insight into the role of social media in disaster risk mitigation and increasing awareness among coastal communities of impending natural disasters.

This research aims to increase public awareness regarding how to avoid threats that often occur in society, especially online fraud which is currently on the rise, it is important to understand that online fraud crimes are a serious threat to society in the current digital era. The negative impact of the development of information technology, especially on social media, has led to an increase in online crime cases. In this discussion, the large number of crime victims is caused by low awareness in society. This crime has detrimental social and economic impacts on its victims. Including financial and psychological losses that disturb the victim's mental health. Therefore, appropriate steps are needed to increase public awareness of the risks of online fraud tactics.
