This community service activity aimed to foster financial literacy awareness and develop wise financial behavior from an early age through the “Early Saving Movement” socialization program for fifth-grade students of SDN Antasan Besar 7 Banjarmasin. The activity was conducted face-to-face using an interactive approach that included the delivery of educational materials, group discussions, question-and-answer sessions, simple simulations of money management, and the administration of pre- and post-activity questionnaires to measure changes in students’ knowledge and attitudes. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in students’ motivation to save by 93% and an improvement in their understanding of the benefits of saving by 58%. These findings indicate that direct socialization methods accompanied by active student engagement are effective in enhancing elementary school students’ financial literacy and interest in simple and practical financial management. However, challenges were still found in controlling students’ consumptive behavior, which is influenced by the family environment and daily social interactions. Therefore, follow-up efforts are needed in the form of regular saving habit programs and the involvement of parents and teachers in supervising students’ financial behavior. Overall, this activity had a positive impact on shaping students’ discipline, responsibility, and financial independence from an early age.

This community service program aims to enhance the English communication skills of strawberry farmers in Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, as an effort to strengthen tourism competitiveness through agrotourism. The activity was carried out through practical English training using a participatory and context-based approach that reflects the farmers’ real communication needs. The training consisted of two main stages: a classroom session employing the role-play method and a field practice session held directly at the strawberry farm with the involvement of local tourists and student assistants. The training materials covered daily expressions commonly used in interactions with visitors, including greetings, product explanation, offering activities, and basic transaction language. The primary learning media were a bilingual communication booklet and situational training modules, both developed from the results of a prior needs analysis. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in the participants’ English communication abilities. Based on the pre-test and post-test results, the average improvement reached 43%, particularly in speaking confidence, vocabulary mastery, and fluency. Participants also demonstrated increased enthusiasm and professionalism when interacting with tourists in English. This program proves that practical and role-play–based training is effective in developing both linguistic competence and communicative confidence among local farmers. It also strengthens their role as tourism actors who contribute to the sustainable development of the Pancasari agrotourism area.

This research aims to analyze the challenges and solutions of Islamic education in the digital era in an effort to maintain religious values in the midst of the rapid flow of modernization and technological development. This research uses the library research method by examining various relevant literature sources, such as books, journals, and previous research results. The results of the study show that technological advances have a great influence on students' learning patterns, behaviors, and moral values. However, with the right strategy, technology can also be used as a means of da'wah and strengthening Islamic character. Efforts that need to be made include the integration of Islamic values in digital-based learning, improving teachers' competence in technological literacy, and collaboration between schools, families, and communities. This research emphasizes that Islamic education must be adaptive to the development of the times, but still adhere to religious values in order to produce a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, faithful, and noble. In addition, curriculum innovation that is responsive to the needs of the times and the use of safe and directed digital media is needed to support the formation of students' character comprehensively.

This study compares the educational evaluation systems in Indonesia and Finland and their implications for learning quality. The method used is a library study, collecting data from literature related to educational evaluation policies in both countries. The educational evaluation system in Indonesia is quite complex, implementing various forms of assessment, such as homework (PR), daily tests, mid-semester assessments (PTS), final semester assessments (PAS), and school exams (US). Indonesia also implements the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) as a requirement for student graduation. In contrast, Finland implements a simpler evaluation system with an emphasis on formative evaluation, a reduced number of exams, and the absence of the KKM or National Exam (UN). In the Finnish system, students are not held back from a grade, and evaluation is conducted throughout the learning process, focusing on students' continuous development. The results of this study indicate that differences in evaluation systems have a significant impact on learning methods and the development of educational quality in each country. The implication is the need to adapt evaluation policies that integrate holistic and formative aspects to improve learning quality, particularly in Indonesia.

Early Childhood Education is a fundamental phase in the formation of a child's character and basic skills. This period, known as the golden age, is crucial for providing appropriate stimulation so that all aspects of a child's development can develop optimally. The limited learning resources at the Bajo Sayang Early Childhood Education on Boleng Island, West Manggarai Regency, drove the need for innovative, simple yet meaningful learning media. This community service activity aims to implement interactive storytelling as a learning medium that can stimulate the cognitive and social-emotional aspects of early childhood. The implementation method used a participatory and interactive approach, where children are actively involved through questions and answers, emotional expression, and supporting activities such as singing and dancing. This community service activity aims to foster children’s independence in worship through mentoring on the practice of ablution (wudhu) and prayer (sholat) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Jihad. The activity was motivated by preliminary observations showing that most first and second-grade students already recognized the basic procedures of wudhu and sholat but still needed guidance in mastering the correct order of movements and recitations. Therefore, this mentoring program was carried out as an effort to develop students’ religious character from an early age through direct practice and habituation in the school environment. The implementation method used a participatory and educative approach consisting of several stages, including initial observation, collaborative planning with teachers, mentoring in wudhu and sholat practices, and final evaluation. The activity was carried out collaboratively among students, teachers, and university mentors, creating an active, interactive, and joyful learning atmosphere. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ independence and understanding in performing wudhu and sholat correctly. Students were able to memorize the sequence of wudhu, perform prayer movements more accurately, and worship with greater focus and discipline without constant supervision. Teachers also reported increased student awareness and consistency in performing daily prayers after the mentoring sessions. Overall, this program had a positive impact on fostering the habit of worship in the school environment and demonstrated that hands-on practice combined with exemplary guidance is an effective approach to instill religious values and build independent character in young learners
