Adh-dhaman is an essential concept in Islamic law, particularly related to liability and obligations for damages or harm caused by an individual to the property or rights of others. The term originates from the Arabic word dhimmah, which means responsibility or obligation, and has broad applications in the context of muamalah (social and business interactions). The legal basis for Adh-dhaman in Islamic law is found in both the Qur'an and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). In the Qur'an, Allah says, "And do not consume one another’s wealth unjustly" (Surah Al-Baqarah: 188). This reflects the principle that no one should unlawfully take the rights of others, and if they do, they are obligated to make restitution. In the hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm" (Narrated by Ibn Majah). This hadith emphasizes that in Islam, any act that causes harm to others, whether directly or indirectly, must be accounted for. Adh-dhaman involves two primary elements: sabab (cause) and dhaman (compensation). In every case, Islamic law considers the intention and the degree of negligence to determine whether a person is obligated to compensate and the extent of that compensation.

Abstract, Fasting in Islam is not only an act of worship that brings one closer to Allah, but also offers physical and mental health benefits. In addition to increasing piety, fasting helps discipline oneself and supports the body's detoxification process. The biological processes that occur during fasting, such as rest for the digestive system and the use of energy reserves, demonstrate Allah's wisdom. Fasting also prevents diseases caused by overeating, such as hypertension, diabetes, and heart problems. Medical research reveals that moderate eating patterns and regular fasting improve overall health. Fasting, such as during Ramadan, also boosts metabolism, organ health, and psychological well-being by regulating emotions and behavior. Various types of fasting, both obligatory and voluntary, have different health impacts, and studies support the benefits of fasting in reducing inflammation, regulating blood glucose levels, and enhancing overall quality of life.

This article examines the narrative of human fall in Genesis chapter 3 and the manifestation of God's grace within it. Using qualitative and hermeneutical methods, this research analyzes how the disobedience of Adam and Eve brought universal consequences for humanity. This fall not only resulted in the breakdown of the relationship between humans and God but also brought consequences in the form of curses and suffering. However, in the midst of this tragedy, God showed His grace through the promise of salvation in Genesis 3:15 and the provision of animal skin clothing as a symbol of His care. This promise was later fulfilled through the coming of Jesus Christ who defeated the power of sin. This article also emphasizes the relevance of the story of human fall for today's life, especially in understanding the importance of maintaining integrity in relationship with God and appreciating the grace of salvation that has been given through Christ.

This study examines the virtues of knowledge and the classification of education based on the perspectives of two prominent Islamic scholars, Al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayyim, grounded in the framework of the Qur'an and Hadith. Islam assigns a distinguished position to knowledge, as reflected in Qur'anic verses such as Al-Mujadilah 11, which promises elevated ranks for those who believe and possess knowledge, and the supplication for increased knowledge in Thaha 114. In Hadith, knowledge is likened to beneficial milk that must be shared with others. Al-Ghazali emphasizes the importance of knowledge as a path to happiness in both this world and the hereafter, while Ibn Qayyim highlights the role of knowledge in drawing closer to Allah and shaping a complete human character. This research employs a literature review method to explore the concepts of the virtues of knowledge and education in Islam through the perspectives of Al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayyim. The findings reveal that both scholars present complementary views on the value of knowledge as an act of worship that brings one closer to Allah SWT, while categorizing knowledge based on its benefits for individuals and society. This study underscores that seeking knowledge is an obligation for every Muslim and a path to paradise, as affirmed in the Qur'an and Hadith. These findings provide valuable contributions to the development of Islamic education, particularly in instilling the virtues of knowledge in modern educational curricula.

This research aims to determine the benefits of assessing attitudes (affective) in Islamic religious education (PAI) lessons in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative method which aims to gain a deeper understanding of the use of attitude (affective) assessment in Islamic religious education (PAI) lessons in elementary schools. So, the data collection method used uses previous research data, then the data is analyzed using data obtained from relevant sources. After previous research has been analyzed, the conclusion of this research is that although behavioral assessment requires students to behave in accordance with Islamic values, their behavior often does not go well. Teachers tend to focus on skills assessment and face difficulties in creating clear and consistent assessment tools. To overcome this problem, more efforts need to be made to assess the importance of assessment by using assessment and testing tools. Additionally, behavioral assessments should be included in the report card and not just as a formality. In this way, it is hoped that the PAI learning process can be more meaningful and contribute to the formation of students' character as a whole.

Leadership in the Islamic perspective is a sacred trust given by Allah to humans as His vicegerents on earth to prosper the world and safeguard the well-being of the community. Leaders are required to possess key qualities such as honesty, trustworthiness, intelligence, and the ability to convey the truth, as well as being faithful, pious, just, professional, and responsible. The stories of Prophet Adam and Prophet David in the Qur'an illustrate the immense responsibility and the risks of succumbing to desires, which can be overcome through introspection and repentance. An ideal leader should use the Qur'an and hadith as guidance to achieve justice, welfare, and blessings for themselves and their communities, serving as a foundation for happiness in this world and the hereafter.

Interpretation of the Qur'an is an effort to understand Allah's verses through various methods, including tafsir bil-ma'tsur, tafsir bil-ra'yi, and tafsir Isyari. Tafsir bil-ma'tsur relies on the Qur'an, hadith, and the understanding of the companions and the tabi'in, carrying strong authority but not without critique regarding the authenticity of its chains of narration and the potential inclusion of Israiliyat. Tafsir bil-ra'yi employs reason and logic, divided into commendable interpretations that adhere to the principles of Quranic exegesis and blameworthy interpretations that often deviate from Islamic law. Meanwhile, tafsir Isyari offers a symbolic and esoteric approach, requiring strict conditions to ensure relevance and alignment with the apparent meaning of the verses. Although scholars have differing opinions regarding the validity of these interpretative methods, they collectively reflect the intellectual richness of Islam in interpreting the Qur'an to meet the spiritual and intellectual needs of the community across different contexts and eras.

This study discusses the concept of dress ethics in Islam, focusing on the dress code for both men and women as well as the ethics that should be applied when dressing. In Islam, dressing is not merely a matter of appearance, but also related to religious teachings that emphasize the importance of covering the aurat, maintaining modesty, and preserving honor. For men, the dress code is strictly regulated by Sharia, including the aurat limitation between the navel and the knee, the prohibition of wearing gold and silk, and the prohibition of imitating women's or non-Muslims' clothing. Meanwhile, for women, the dress code is more complex with specific requirements such as covering the aurat, wearing non-transparent clothing, not accentuating body contours, and avoiding imitation of men's or non-Muslim clothing. This study also highlights the concept of tabarruj, which refers to the act of displaying jewelry and beauty to men who are not mahram, considered a violation of Islamic dress ethics. Additionally, this research explains the meaning of jilbab in the Qur'an, which is understood as an outer garment that covers the entire body, serving as protection and a means of distinguishing believing women. Overall, dress ethics in Islam encompasses not only physical aspects but also spiritual ones, reflecting devotion to Allah through sincere intentions in accordance with religious teachings. This study provides a deeper understanding of the significance of dress ethics as part of a Muslim's identity in faith.

This research investigates the connection between faith and knowledge as outlined in Surah Al-Mujadalah, particularly focusing on the two key conditions for attaining higher ranks in the sight of Allah SWT: tafassuh fil majlis (creating space in gatherings) and bersegera dalam melakukan kebaikan (rushing to do good deeds). These principles emphasize that faith and knowledge should not be mere theoretical concepts but must be reflected in practical actions that benefit society and align with Islamic values. The analysis uses a tafsir approach and social context to elucidate how these conditions serve as indicators of true faith and knowledge. By examining relevant scholarly opinions and historical contexts, this paper explains the significance of these conditions in fostering social harmony and personal development, ultimately leading to spiritual elevation. The application of these principles in daily life results in a positive societal impact and the elevation of one's status in the eyes of Allah SWT. Thus, the study reinforces that faith and knowledge, when paired with humble
