The uneven distribution of guidance on the Pancasila Student Profile (P3) material as part of the Independent Curriculum at all levels of education and regions in Indonesia has caused some teachers who take the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) to have minimal knowledge in designing indicators for the Pancasila Student Profile (P3). This classroom action research aims to determine the independence of PPG participants for Catholic religious teachers and the concept of critical reasoning in designing indicators for the P3 dimension. The research was carried out in four stages of planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection in the Lokakarya 1 Batch 1 class in 2024 totalling 17 people. The results of the study showed that learning for Catholic religious teachers who implemented professional teacher education (PPG) with the problem based on learning method was proven to be able to increase independence from 68% in cycle 1 to 87% in cycle 2. In the process, it was also proven that there was an increase in critical reasoning skills in designing P3 dimension observation indicators according to the final development path in phases A, B, and C of Elementary School (SD) education from 55 to 88 in cycle 2. Suggestion: the learning process needs to be always reflected by educators so that learners are able to improve their learning outcomes from the affective, psychomotor, and cognitive aspects.

Teacher 4.0 is a concept of future educators created to explain the characteristics of educators who can handle various technologies with effective teaching in parallel with the transformation of Education 4.0. Readiness and acceptance of the use of various smart technologies, better known as Technology 4.0 experienced a large-scale shift in the national education system, especially in teaching and learning methods. This includes all levels from primer to higher education institutions. The transformation of 4.0 requires improvement in teachers' competency to enhance teaching and to ensure it is in line with the country’s objective in producing highly competitive, innovative educators and students in the era of 4.0. The need for a measurement tool is important due to the lack of research conducted to test the competence of Teacher 4.0. Thus, this study was conducted to measure the competence of Teacher 4.0 by creating a new instrument adapted from the DigCompEdu model. Appropriate constructs were validated and hypotheses were tested using PLS-SEM approach to evaluate the contribution of each construct towards Teacher 4.0 competency. The sample used in this study involves 274 among MARA teachers’ pre-university institutions across Malaysia. A total of three formative constructs were identified, namely teaching and learning, assessment and facilitating students' Technology 4.0 competence. Questionnaires were distributed to respondents using purposive sampling and the data obtained was analyzed using SEM-PLS software. The results of the analysis show that all constructs have passed sufficient convergent validity. Hypothesis verification analysis shows that all constructs have a positive contribution towards Teacher 4.0 competency. Overall, this study has created a new measurement instrument that can measure the competence of Teacher 4.0 and improvised the DigCompEdu model. Findings can be a reflection indicator for teachers to improve teaching methods and strategies in addition to developing existing competencies. The problems arising from this study can be indicators for educational institutions to ensure that the facilities and infrastructure required for Technology 4.0 can be expanded in line with their needs as an educational support tool.

This research analyzes teachers' perceptions and practices regarding technology integration in English language teaching within the Indonesian educational context. Using a mixed methods approach, this study involved 120 English teachers from various educational levels (primary, junior high, senior high, and higher education) through an online survey, with 15 teachers selected for in-depth interviews and classroom observations. The findings reveal a gap between teachers' positive perceptions of technology (M=4.21 on a 5-point scale) and actual implementation in teaching practices (M=3.15). Statistical analysis identified four main factors influencing technology integration: teachers' digital competence (β=0.43, p<0.01), institutional support (β=0.38, p<0.01), teachers' pedagogical beliefs (β=0.35, p<0.01), and infrastructure accessibility (β=0.32, p<0.01). Qualitative data revealed that while teachers acknowledge the potential of technology to increase student motivation and create authentic language learning environments, they face challenges in aligning technology use with learning objectives, classroom management, and learning assessment. This research provides recommendations for teacher professional development and educational policies that support effective technology integration in English language teaching.
