The shortage of availability and increasing prices of Liquefied Natural Gas (LPG) encourage some people to use firewood as an alternative to traditional cooking fuel. The utilization of conventional stoves for combustion results in the generation of carbon monoxide (CO) emissions which can be dangerous to human health. Gasification stoves produce less CO emissions than conventional stoves and produce thermal efficiencies up to 35%. The shortage and high expense of LPG can be avoided by using biomass waste, such as twigs, wood chips, and palm fronds, as fuel for gasification stoves instead of kerosene or LPG. The gasification stove used in the socialization was designed based on the dimensions of the Champion Stove Top-Lit Up Draft. Wood logs that have been cut to a size of 6–9 cm and a width of 1 cm are utilized as fuel. 1.5 liters of water were successfully boiled for nine minutes by KOMAS gasification stoves. This socialization activities attracted the attention community of Batu Belah Village and at the end of this socialization, the team gave gasification stoves to the local community as an effort to apply the technology.

Routine health checkups are simple and easy to do. Health checks can include physical examinations, laboratory tests, and followed by consultations. The purpose of this service activity is to be able to provide counseling to residents regarding the prevention of non-communicable diseases (PTM) and conduct examinations such as blood pressure checks and cholesterol checks. The purpose of these tests is to detect previously unknown diseases or health problems. This way, you can improve your health early on, before the condition gets worse. There are many health problems that can be detected through regular health checks. These diseases are the main diseases that are commonly suffered by citizens, especially in Indonesia. Residents of KM 14 neighborhood in Palembang City mostly consist of working age residents, who have more opportunities to work and have less time to undergo health checks and when residents are on vacation, health services are also closed.  Most of the residents of KM 14 Palembang City do not know the importance of health checks and do not have the right time to visit health services. So the PKM team began to offer solutions by conducting physical examinations and education about systemic diseases such as high blood pressure, gout, and diabetes.

HIS has a major role in managing health data and information applied through Electronic Medical Records (EMR). EMR facilitates the analysis of health data in patients, decision-making by health care providers, disease mapping, helps identify disease patterns, and maps the spread of the disease. HIS supports the creation of telemedicine services through the concept of telemedicine.  This study uses the Narrative Literature Review (NLR) method on the concepts of Health Information Systems (HIS) and Telemedicine. Integrating HIS and Telemedicine provides promising opportunities for healthcare improvement, offering data accessibility, and efficient remote consultation. However, addressing privacy, security, infrastructure, and regulatory challenges is critical to the successful implementation of such integrations. Collaborative efforts between healthcare providers, policymakers, and technology developers are critical to ensuring the ethical and effective implementation of integrated systems.
