The renewal of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) through the Draft Law (RUU) KUHAP opens up space for in-depth philosophical reflection on the relationship between law, justice, and humanity. This article examines the challenges of harmonizing the principle of due process of law, which emphasizes respect for individual rights in every legal process, with the criminal justice system, which is oriented towards efficiency and the purpose of punishment. This harmony is not only a technical and normative matter, but also a matter of shared understanding of what is meant by justice in the context of a more humane and human rights-based criminal justice system. Using a philosophical legal perspective, this article explores the potential for conflict and convergence between the two principles, and seeks common ground within the framework of Pancasila legal values and Islamic law that prioritize humanity, substantive justice, and a balance between individual rights and the public interest. The renewal of the RUU KUHAP, in this context, is not merely a structural change, but a journey towards a legal system that guarantees the depth of justice, which is not only seen from a procedural perspective, but also from the moral and social essence of the law itself.

This study explores the role of interreligious environmental ethics in shaping global cooperation to address the ongoing ecological crisis. By analyzing and comparing the teachings of Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism, the study identifies key environmental ethics principles that are shared across these religious traditions, such as non-violence, the sacredness of nature, and the principle of moderation in resource use. Despite theological and doctrinal differences, these shared values provide a strong philosophical and moral foundation for fostering cooperation among religious communities in addressing global environmental challenges. The study also examines the philosophical divergences within religious teachings, such as the varying interpretations of human dominion over nature and the role of humans as stewards or caretakers of the Earth. These theological differences present challenges in creating a unified environmental ethical framework, yet they also highlight the richness and diversity of religious perspectives on ecological responsibility. The practical applications of these teachings are discussed, focusing on how religious values have been integrated into real-world environmental movements, such as faith-based environmentalism and interfaith collaborations. The findings underscore the potential for interfaith dialogue to catalyze global environmental action and the creation of a unified global ethical system. Such a system, grounded in shared religious values, could provide a framework for sustainable practices and ecological justice, offering a moral guide for individuals, communities, and nations in their efforts to mitigate environmental degradation and promote sustainability.

The study examines the theological meaning of the symbols of water, wine, and blood in the Gospel of John and their interrelation within the perspective of Catholic theology. Grounded in John’s distinctive use of symbolism as a medium of revelation, the study treats these three symbols not as isolated narrative elements but as an integrated theological sequence. The study employs a qualitative method, utilizing a literature-based approach and biblical-theological exegesis of key texts. The findings indicate that water signifies the renewal of life originating from divine grace and is closely associated with Baptism; wine expresses joy and abundance within the new covenant, finding its resonance in the Eucharist; while blood marks the culmination of divine love manifested in Christ’s redemptive sacrifice. Together, these symbols form a progressive dynamic of revelation: from renewal, to communion, and ultimately to redemption. In the light of sacramental theology, these symbols not only reveal the identity of Jesus as the incarnate Word but also mediate a concrete experience of faith within the life of the Church. Thus, the Gospel of John demonstrates that God’s salvific work unfolds in an integral and continuous manner, remaining relevant for the contemporary practice of Christian faith.

The paradoxical phenomenon of domestic violence (KDRT) within the ideal construct of Islamic marriage, supported by the prevalence of violence against women in Indonesia, forms the empirical basis of this research. Fikih mubadalah, as an interpretative framework that emphasizes the principle of reciprocity in understanding religious texts, and the Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Sexual Violence Crimes (UU TPKS), as a juridical instrument providing comprehensive protection for victims of sexual violence, constitute the central conceptual elements of this study. This research focuses on the analysis of the implementation of UU TPKS and the fikih mubadalah paradigm within the pedagogical context of the Islamic Marriage Jurisprudence subject in the eleventh grade of Social Sciences at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Banjarmasin. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with students and educators, and documentary analysis of learning artifacts. The research findings indicate that the integration of the fikih mubadalah concept and the substance of UU TPKS in the learning process significantly enhances students' understanding of the essence of egalitarian marital relations and the urgency of legal protection against gender-based violence. Students are able to identify manifestations of gender inequality in marriage case studies and internalize the importance of equality and legal protection guarantees. Nevertheless, heterogeneity in the level of understanding is still identified in a small portion of the sample population. The conclusion of this research is that the internalization of fikih mubadalah and UU TPKS within the Islamic Marriage Jurisprudence curriculum effectively stimulates students' critical awareness of the importance of just marital relations and the imperative of preventing acts of violence. The application of a contextual and participatory pedagogical approach proves to be positively correlated with an increase in students' understanding. This research recommends the adoption of a similar integrative approach in the religious education curriculum as a strategic effort to shape a young generation that possesses legal awareness, a fair gender perspective, and the capacity to build harmonious and violence-free family institutions.

Character education consists of two words, namely education and character. The meaning of character education from an Islamic perspective is a conscious effort made by educators towards students which aims to shape the students' personalities and form morals, ethics and a sense of good culture and noble character. Character education is very important at this time because a character will show who we really are, character will determine how a person makes decisions, character determines a person's attitude, words and actions, someone who has good character, then his words and actions will also definitely be good, and all of this will become an identity that unites and personalizes itself, so that it is easy to distinguish it from other identities. The aim of character education in Islamic religious education is to form a person with noble character, because noble character is the basis of all goodness.

The construction sector is currently undergoing significant changes as a result of the adoption of digitaltechnologies. The utilisation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) has garnered considerable interest in recentyears from scholars and industry experts. The sector has seen major changes as a result of its rising success. Giventhese changes, the traditional knowledge and skills possessed by project specialists or managers seem insufficientin properly supervising the new information component of construction project management. As projects advance, the inclusion of new roles such as BIM managers, BIM coordinators, BIM modellers, and information managers isbecoming crucial to meet the demand for enhanced capabilities. Multiple studies have analysed these novel rolesfrom a theoretical perspective, but have not investigated their correlation with conventional roles in projectmanagement, nor have they explored how project managers and BIM specialists position themselves in relation tothe overall processes outlined in the BIM implementation guides. This case study illustrates that the duties of BIMspecialists varied among various fields and go beyond solely technical assignments. Moreover, the informationsub-process predominantly focuses on BIM managers, leading to the establishment of two distinct sources ofleadership within a project: BIM managers and project managers. According to the poll, professionals believe thatthe BIM collaboration methods described in the BIM implementation plan and project documents are too general. Moreover, there is always a difference between specified methods and the ones actually used in the project.
