Waste is a growing environmental issue, particularly in residential areas lacking effective waste management systems. This community service activity aims to improve environmental literacy through a waste management education program implemented in collaboration with the Ija Plastic Gang community. The methods used include outreach, participatory education, household-based waste management training, and ongoing mentoring. The results of the activity indicate an increase in community understanding regarding waste types, sorting methods, and simple recycling practices. Furthermore, the formation of new habits in waste management is an indicator of the program's success. The activity also fostered a sense of collective responsibility among community members toward maintaining a clean and healthy living environment. Through consistent mentoring and hands-on practice, participants demonstrated greater confidence in applying waste reduction strategies at the household level. The collaboration with the Ija Plastic Gang community proved instrumental in accelerating behavior change, as peer-to-peer engagement strengthened motivation and accountability. Ultimately, this initiative highlights the importance of integrating environmental education into community development programs to achieve long-term ecological sustainability.

This research examines how families and communities play a role in instilling the value of tolerance through multicultural education. As a country rich in ethnic, religious, cultural and linguistic diversity, Indonesia needs an attitude of mutual respect so that social life continues to run in peace and harmony. Therefore, it is important to introduce the value of tolerance from an early age through the child's closest environment, such as family, community and school. In everyday life, the family is the first place where children receive education about tolerance through providing understanding, habituating positive behavior, example from parents, and monitoring children's attitudes. On the other hand, society also has a contribution as a learning environment that introduces children to diversity through social interaction and various joint activities. Schools also play a role in forming a tolerant character by implementing multicultural education in a planned and sustainable manner. This research uses a literature study method by examining various scientific sources related to multicultural education and instilling the value of tolerance. Based on the results of the study, it is known that cooperation between family, school and community has a very important role in shaping children's character so that they are able to appreciate differences, live side by side in harmony, and maintain unity in the life of a diverse society.

Islamic education management in the contemporary era is no longer adequate if understood solely as an administrative activity, but must be built on a solid philosophical, ethical, and spiritual foundation. This article aims to analyze the concept of Islamic education management from the perspective of Al-Ghazali and Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and examine the relevance of its implementation for contemporary Islamic education management. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type. Data were obtained from the primary works of both figures and various relevant secondary sources, then analyzed through a comparative-conceptual approach with qualitative content analysis techniques and hermeneutic reading. The results show that Al-Ghazali emphasizes the ethical-spiritual dimension of education through the integration of knowledge, charity, morals, and purification of the soul, while al-Attas emphasizes the epistemological-philosophical dimension through the concepts of ta'dib, adab, and the Islamic worldview. Both have a common ground in the view that Islamic education must be directed at the formation of knowledgeable, civilized, and moral human beings, and should not be reduced to a technical process with neutral value. In terms of implementation, this study synthesizes the thoughts of both figures relevant to strengthening education, leadership, curriculum and learning management, institutional culture formation, and holistic educational evaluation. Therefore, Islamic educational management is ideally built on a foundation of ethical-spiritual and epistemological-philosophical integration to ensure effective, valuable, and transcendental-oriented educational governance.

This study aims to determine the effect of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning on students’ learning outcomes at SMA Muhammadiyah Bumiayu. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational (ex-post facto) approach. The subjects of this study were students of SMA Muhammadiyah Bumiayu selected through purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used were a closed-ended questionnaire to measure the PJOK learning implementation variable and report card documentation to measure students’ learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted using statistical techniques to identify the relationship between variables. The results of this study are expected to provide an empirical overview of the extent to which PJOK learning contributes to improving students’ overall learning outcomes, including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Furthermore, this study is expected to serve as a reference for improving the quality of PJOK learning in schools.

Transformasi digital menuntut tenaga pendidik menjadi fasilitator yang adaptif terhadap teknologi. Menghadapi tuntutan tersebut, guru di SMPIP Nihadul Qulub mengalami hambatan kompetensi dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Selain itu, kurangnya sumber referensi praktis yang dapat diakses secara mandiri membuat guru kesulitan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digitalnya di tengah padatnya aktivitas mengajar. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital melalui pelatihan Canva guna merancang media interaktif berbasis web. Diikuti sebanyak 20 guru, kegiatan pengabdian berupa pelatihan ini dilaksanakan secara langsung dan luar jaringan (luring) di SMPIP Nihadul Qulub, Ungaran. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi perencanaan, analisis kebutuhan mitra, implementasi workshop praktik langsung, serta evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, di mana 90% guru berhasil mempublikasikan modul ajar interaktif dalam format situs web tanpa keahlian pemrograman. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan peran guru menjadi desainer pengalaman belajar yang kreatif, sejalan dengan tuntutan pendidikan abad ke-21.

Kemampuan baca tulis Al-Qur’an (BTQ) merupakan kompetensi dasar dalam pendidikan Islam yang perlu dikembangkan secara sistematis sejak usia dini. Namun, dalam praktik pembelajaran di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ), masih ditemukan permasalahan berupa rendahnya kemampuan membaca, menulis huruf hijaiyah, serta ketidakseimbangan antara aspek tajwid, makhraj, dan kefasihan bacaan santri. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya inovasi metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan terstruktur. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan BTQ santri melalui pendampingan berbasis integrasi metode imla’ dan talaqqi di TPQ Nurul Huda Sentani Jayapura. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain library research yang didukung oleh data lapangan kegiatan pengabdian. Proses pelaksanaan dilakukan secara partisipatif dan aplikatif melalui tahapan pembelajaran membaca (talaqqi), menulis (imla’), serta penguatan melalui muroja’ah terjadwal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan santri pada berbagai aspek. Pada aspek kelancaran membaca dan hafalan, lima santri memperoleh nilai 5, empat santri nilai 4, dan enam santri nilai 3. Pada aspek tajwid, empat santri mencapai nilai 5, enam santri nilai 4, dan lima santri nilai 3. Sementara itu, pada aspek kefasihan bacaan, sembilan santri mencapai nilai 5. Secara umum, penerapan metode imla’ dan talaqqi memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca, menulis huruf hijaiyah, serta ketepatan makhraj dan tajwid santri. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi metode imla’ dan talaqqi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan BTQ santri, serta berdampak positif terhadap motivasi, kedisiplinan, dan keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran. Model ini dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran BTQ di TPQ, khususnya di wilayah dengan keterbatasan sumber belajar.

Character education has become a major topic in modern education due to technological advances, globalization, and lifestyle changes that influence the behavior and moral values ​​of the younger generation. This situation necessitates efforts to build strong character through education based on Islamic values. The family, as the primary educational institution, plays a key role in instilling faith, morals, and ethics in children from an early age. This study aims to examine the role of the family in Islamic character education and evaluate strategies that families can implement to build the foundation of children's morals in today's era. The method used was qualitative research with a library study, collecting data from various sources such as books, scientific journals, and related research findings. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative techniques through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that families play a significant role in shaping children's character through role models, the instillation of religious values, effective communication, and supervision of digital technology use. The implementation of Islamic character education within the family environment can create a strong moral foundation, enabling children to face the challenges of the times without losing their moral and spiritual values. This research provides implications that active participation of parents in family education is a major factor in building the character of a generation with noble morals in the modern era.

The development of generative artificial intelligence has given rise to a new form of digital-based sexual violence through the spread of sexual deepfakes, non-consensual synthetic sexual representations that can attack the dignity, privacy, sexual autonomy, and sense of security of victims. This threat becomes even more serious when targeting students and educators because it not only harms individuals but also disrupts the integrity and security of educational spaces. This study aims to analyze the construction of Indonesian criminal law in ensnaring the spread of sexual deepfakes in educational environments, identify weaknesses in its regulations, and formulate a more ideal reconstruction of criminal liability. The method used is normative legal research with a qualitative descriptive approach, through a literature review of laws and regulations, scientific literature, and relevant documents related to deepfakes, electronic-based sexual violence, and legal protection in educational environments. The results of the discussion indicate that Indonesian positive laws, such as the ITE Law, the TPKS Law, the Pornography Law, the Personal Data Protection Law, and educational regulations, have essentially provided a normative basis for prosecuting such acts, but they are still partial, fragmented, and do not explicitly regulate sexual deepfakes as a separate crime. Therefore, a reconstruction of criminal liability is needed that explicitly recognizes non-consensual synthetic sexual representation as a crime, expands the forms of punishable acts, provides for greater severity in the context of educational relations, and comprehensively integrates criminal penalties with victim protection and recovery. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan dan gaya hidup dalam menunjang prestasi belajar mahasiswa penerima KIP Kuliah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan dan gaya hidup terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah Kota Makassar, yaitu Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar dan Politeknik Muhammadiyah Makassar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1.660 mahasiswa dengan sampel sebanyak 322 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik tertentu. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan didukung uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan dan gaya hidup secara parsial maupun simultan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang mampu mengelola keuangan dengan baik serta menerapkan gaya hidup yang terarah cenderung memiliki prestasi belajar yang lebih baik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan pengendalian gaya hidup sebagai upaya mendukung keberhasilan akademik mahasiswa penerima bantuan pendidikan.

The rapid development of information and communication technology in the digital era has brought massive disruptions to all aspects of human life, including the educational paradigm and societal morality. Generation Z, as digital natives who grow up alongside these technological advancements, faces significant vulnerabilities regarding character degradation and moral decadence due to boundless exposure to global information. This research aims to critically analyze the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education in shaping and fortifying the character of Generation Z amidst the complexities of the digital landscape. The method used in this study is a qualitative literature review, which systematically synthesizes and analyzes twenty relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education serves as an irreplaceable moral compass by internalizing the fundamental values of Tawhid and prophetic ethics. Furthermore, the integration of modern digital pedagogy with classical Islamic traditions, accompanied by the teacher's role as a moral exemplar (mu'addib), is crucial for effective character building. In conclusion, a collaborative educational ecosystem involving the family, school, and society is mandatory to ensure the continuous moral resilience of the younger generation in facing future technological disruptions.

The phenomenon of cyberbullying and the spread of hoaxes among students has posed a significant threat to the ethics of the younger generation. Consequently, the education sector must take prudent action. The purpose of this study is to examine how the integration of digital ethics into the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum serves as an effort to prevent and address online behavioral violations. This research was conducted qualitatively using a desk study. Data were collected through documentary research of educational literature, Islamic moral values, and curriculum policies. In this analysis, a content analysis method was used to examine how Islamic concepts relate to the ethics of modern digital communication. The research indicates that the current PAI curriculum requires strengthening digital transaction materials through internalizing the principles of tabayyun (religious conduct) to combat hoaxes and the principles of akhlaqul karimah (good character) to reduce cyberbullying. PAI should not be limited to theoretical literature; instead, it should develop into a practical guide that helps people improve their digital lives. To create a safe and secure internet environment, the PAI curriculum must be aligned with critical digital literacy and the strengthening of religious character. It is hoped that this integration will provide students with a strong spiritual foundation to face the challenges of future technological disruption.

This research aims to analyze the strategic role of management psychology in enhancing the performance and effectiveness of educational organizations through a systematic literature review. The development of modern educational organizations demands human resource management that is not only oriented toward administrative aspects but also considers the psychological dynamics of individuals, including behavior, motivation, and interpersonal relationships. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review approach, analyzing relevant scientific articles from the Google Scholar database. The results of the study indicate that management psychology contributes significantly to organizational productivity through three main aspects: effective organizational communication to build trust, psychology-based leadership that increases work motivation and satisfaction through recognition and fairness, and constructive conflict management that transforms tension into opportunities for innovation. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the integration of various psychological dimensions, such as organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and self-efficacy, is a key element in creating a conducive work environment. Therefore, leaders of educational institutions are advised to adopt a humanistic leadership style to optimize the potential of human resources and achieve superior educational quality in a sustainable and effective manner within the modern era.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Reconnecting active learning method in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Sentani and to examine its role in enhancing students’ learning interest and engagement. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design to gain an in-depth understanding of the learning process. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three PAI teachers, the school principal, and three students, and were further supported by classroom observations and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Reconnecting method has a positive impact on students’ learning experiences, particularly in increasing their interest, active participation, and ability to relate learning materials to real-life contexts. Students become more responsive and motivated during the learning process. However, several challenges were identified, including limited instructional time and varying levels of teacher readiness in applying the method effectively. Therefore, continuous teacher training and better time management are recommended to optimize the use of this method in PAI learning

Background: The Quran is a guide for Muslims, so the ability to read the Quran correctly according to the rules of tajweed (tahsin) is a crucial basic competency. At the Ar Royyan Pacitan Quranic Education Center (TPQ), several students still have weaknesses in the pronunciation of the letters and the accuracy of the length of the recitation (mad). Objective: This community service activity aims to educate and improve the students' mastery of tahsin in order to achieve a quality Quran recitation that meets the standards of tajweed. Method: The talaqqi and musyafahah methods are used, in which students listen directly to examples of recitation from the teacher and then practice them repeatedly. The stages of the activity include a placement test, the provision of practical theoretical material, and intensive recitation guidance (setoran). Results: The educational results show a significant increase in the fluency of letter pronunciation (makharijul huruf) and the accuracy of basic tajweed rules among the students. Furthermore, students' motivation to learn increased along with their understanding of the importance of reading the Quran with tartil. Conclusion: Tahsin education through interactive and intensive methods has proven effective in improving the reading quality of students at TPQ Ar Royyan. Ongoing mentoring is recommended to maintain and develop these skills.

The development of globalization, digital technology, and social change has influenced the way young people understand and live out their faith. Secularism tends to place religion in the private sphere, so that religious values do not always become the basis for decision-making in daily life. This study aims to analyze the challenges of secularism to the formation of the identity of Catholic youth in the modern era and to formulate relevant religious education responses in addressing these dynamics. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method that examines various scientific literature, Church documents, and research findings related to the phenomenon of secularism and the formation of the religious identity of Catholic youth. The results of the study indicate that secularism has a complex impact on the faith life of young people, including decreased participation in Church activities, the emergence of individualistic attitudes, and the tendency to view religion merely as a formal identity. However, on the other hand, the modern era also opens opportunities for young people to develop their faith creatively through the use of digital technology and involvement in faith communities. Therefore, Catholic religious education and pastoral accompaniment that are dialogical, contextual, and participatory are very important in helping Catholic youth integrate their faith into daily life. This study is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions for educators and pastoral ministers in fostering the faith identity of Catholic youth in modern society.

This study aims to analyze and formulate strategic approaches to restructuring educational management in Islamic secondary schools in response to digital disruption, with a specific focus on the local context of Pesawaran. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving school principals, teachers, and administrative staff as participants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that educational management practices remain largely administrative and conventional, with limited and non-systemic integration of digital technologies. Key challenges include inadequate infrastructure, low digital competence among educators, and organizational resistance to change. In response, this study proposes a strategic framework for restructuring educational management, encompassing digital transformational leadership, human resource capacity building, integrated digital management systems, and the incorporation of Islamic values into the digital ecosystem. The main contribution of this research lies in the development of the Islamic Digital-Based Educational Management Model, which integrates leadership, human resources, technology, and Islamic values as an adaptive conceptual framework for addressing digital disruption.

The increasingly sophisticated development of technology in the current digital era has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, particularly in education. The integration of digital technology has become essential to improving the quality of education and adapting teaching methods to contemporary advancements. This study aims to explore the perceptions of sixth-grade students regarding the use of digital media in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) subjects at Gambiranom State Elementary School. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing interviews and questionnaires to collect data from both students and IRE teachers. The results revealed that most students shared a common view, stating that the use of digital media in IRE made lessons more engaging, interactive, and easier to understand. Digital media’s potential to enhance the learning experience was widely acknowledged. However, the study also identified several challenges, including limited access to facilities and technical difficulties in effectively utilizing digital media. These findings suggest that while digital media has the potential to enrich the learning experience, addressing technical and infrastructural barriers is crucial for its successful implementation in education.

This study was conducted at Istiqlal Delitua Private Vocational School entitled "Islamic Religious Education Teachers' Strategies in Improving Students' Spiritual Intelligence at Istiqlal Delitua Private Vocational School" which was motivated by the spiritual attitudes of students at Istiqlal Delitua Private Vocational School which were not good enough. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the spiritual intelligence of students at Istiqlal Delitua Private Vocational School. This study used qualitative research, with a phenomenological methodology and used several data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation, data analysis stages, namely Data Reduction, Data Display, Conclusion Drawing/Verification. The results of the study showed that the strategies applied by teachers in educating students' spiritual attitudes were by habituating students such as getting them used to discipline, getting them used to caring for the environment, getting them used to reading prayers before starting learning, getting them used to greeting teachers, and getting them used to reading the Qur'an. In addition, teachers employ strategies for providing advice and reprimands, such as instilling good values, providing advice and guidance, and administering punishments to students. All of the educational methods employed by Islamic Religious Education teachers at the school are beneficial and are expected to instill spiritual values ​​in students during the learning process, both inside and outside the school environment.

The routine prayer recitation activity with teenagers in Jatikalang Village, Krian, Sidoarjo, essentially arose from the need for moral development among teenagers amidst today's increasingly complex and externally influenced lives. Through this activity, it is hoped that teenagers can become closer to religious values ​​without feeling patronized, as the activities are simple and relevant to their daily lives. Furthermore, a sense of community among teenagers is fostered, becoming more than just a form of worship but also a positive gathering space. The implementation itself uses an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, emphasizing existing community potential, such as the role of administrators, youth involvement, and available village facilities. The activity is relatively simple, starting with an opening and reciting prayers, rowi Diba' (the prayer of the Prophet), mahalul qiyam (the prayer of the Prophet), and closing with a short sermon (kultum) usually containing light but impactful messages. These activities are beginning to show changes: teenagers are becoming more active, a sense of togetherness is growing, and good habits such as discipline, mutual respect, and responsibility are gradually emerging. Furthermore, this activity serves as an alternative to prevent teenagers from getting caught up in less beneficial activities. There are still challenges, particularly with fluctuating attendance and the strong influence of the external environment. However, if maintained and developed consistently, this activity has great potential to become a platform for social and spiritual development for youth. Overall, this sholawat routine is quite effective in developing religious character and strengthening social ties within the community.

This study aims to examine the contributions of A.M. Sangaji to the field of education during the period of 1922–1949 within the broader context of anti-colonial struggle. This research employs a qualitative method with a historical approach, involving the stages of heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Data sources are derived from library research, including books, scholarly articles, and relevant historical documents. The findings reveal that A.M. Sangaji’s contributions to education were closely intertwined with his political and social activism within Sarekat Islam. He actively established Qur’anic teaching centers and educational institutions, particularly in East Kalimantan, aimed at enhancing intellectual and religious awareness among indigenous communities. Furthermore, his role as a writer and orator significantly influenced the development of national consciousness and resistance against colonial rule. His integrity, ideas, and commitment to education highlight his substantial role in the history of Indonesian education. This study concludes that A.M. Sangaji’s contributions extended beyond formal education to encompass social, political, and religious education oriented toward the liberation of society from colonial oppression. Therefore, A.M. Sangaji deserves recognition as both an educational figure and a national hero, with enduring relevance for contemporary educational development.
