This study examines the philosophy of Islamic education in the thought of Imam Al-Ghazali, focusing on educational objectives, philosophical foundations, curriculum, educational methods, and their relevance to contemporary education. Al-Ghazali views education as an integral process that is not merely oriented toward intellectual development, but also toward moral formation and the purification of the soul in order to attain true happiness (Sa‘adah) in both worldly life and the hereafter. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through library research by analyzing Al-Ghazali’s major works, such as Ihya’ ‘Ulum al-Din, Ayyuha al-Walad, and Mizan al-‘Amal, as well as relevant supporting literature. The findings indicate that Al-Ghazali rejects the dichotomy between religious and worldly sciences, as reflected in his concept of fard ‘ain and fard kifayah, which are complementary and interconnected. His educational curriculum is integrative and oriented toward public benefit, while his educational methods emphasize habituation, exemplary conduct of educators, and the process of Tazkiyat Al-Nafs (self-purification). Al-Ghazali’s educational philosophy remains relevant in addressing contemporary moral crises by offering a philosophical foundation for forming the insan kamil a complete human being who is intellectually knowledgeable, morally upright, and spiritually grounded.

This study analyzes Muhammad Asad's Islamic political thought, which seeks to unite Islamic spiritual values with modern political thought. Asad rejects the limited view that considers Islam merely a ritualistic religion, and asserts that Islam is a value system that governs various aspects of life, including politics and government. Using a qualitative approach and library research methods, this study explores Asad's ideas on the Islamic state, democracy and shura, social justice, and the interaction between religion and the state. The findings of this study show that Asad views the Islamic state as an ethical entity that upholds justice, the rule of law, and moral responsibility. The concept of shura is understood as a type of moral democracy based on the values of justice and public participation. Asad also emphasizes that social justice is an important aspect of Islamic government that supports the welfare of society. Asad's thinking rejects both extreme secularism and absolute theocracy, and offers a model of Islamic politics that is rational, participatory, and based on morality. The relevance of this thinking lies in its ability to provide solutions to the crisis of ethics and justice in modern politics through a combination of spirituality and rationality in government.

The increasing number of malpractice cases in Indonesia, particularly those related to misdiagnosis by medical practitioners, highlights the urgency of law enforcement in the health sector. This study aims to analyze the legal provisions and forms of physician liability for misdiagnosis resulting in patient death. The research employs a normative juridical approach with a library research method, using primary legal materials such as Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health, the Criminal Code (KUHP), and the Civil Code (KUHPerdata), as well as secondary legal materials including literature and legal health journals. The findings indicate that misdiagnosis proven to constitute professional negligence (culpa) may give rise to legal liability in three areas—criminal, civil, and administrative. Criminally, Article 440 of Law Number 17 of 2023 stipulates sanctions for medical personnel whose negligence causes serious injury or death (Republic of Indonesia, 2023). Furthermore, hospitals also bear responsibility under the doctrines of vicarious liability and hospital liability for the actions of medical practitioners under their supervision (Balubun, Simanjuntak, & Ginting, 2018). This research implies the need for a balanced legal protection framework between patients’ rights and the professional rights of medical practitioners, as well as the strengthening of medical supervision systems within healthcare institutions.

Facilities and infrastructure are essential components in the provision of education, functioning to support the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes, student comfort, and the achievement of quality learning outcomes. In boarding-based Islamic schools (madrasah), facility needs become more complex due to the integration of formal academic curricula with religious instruction and a full residential system. The National Education Standards (SNP) serve as the national reference for the fulfillment of educational facilities in Indonesia; however, the standards do not specifically regulate boarding facilities, resulting in a gap in facility fulfillment among pesantren-based madrasah. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of educational facilities and infrastructure at MTsS Sunanul Husna, South Tangerang City, with the SNP and to identify inhibiting factors affecting the fulfillment of such standards. The research employed a qualitative case study design through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using interactive procedures, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that academic facilities are categorized as adequate, with classrooms, teacher rooms, administrative offices, computer laboratories, and a UKS room available and functioning, although the library and student sanitation facilities require improvement. Boarding facilities such as dormitories, worship areas, and kitchen facilities are categorized as good, despite not being covered in the SNP. The study reveals that financial limitations, centralized authority at the foundation level, and the absence of national standards for boarding education represent the main inhibiting factors. The study implies the need for the formulation of facility standards specifically for boarding madrasah and for strengthened collaboration among the government, foundations, and communities in fulfilling educational infrastructure.

The obligation to consume halal food is a fundamental right of Muslim consumers, guaranteed by Islamic principles and Indonesian positive law. However, in practice, many food business operators still distribute products that have not obtained halal certification, resulting in legal uncertainty and potential material and immaterial losses for Muslim consumers. This study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection available to Muslim consumers regarding food products that are not halal-certified and to examine the responsibility of business actors as well as the role of the government in ensuring halal food compliance in Indonesia, using Sushi Go Restaurant as a case study. This research applies a normative juridical method with a statutory and case approach, supported by library research of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The findings indicate that legal protection for Muslim consumers has been comprehensively regulated through Law Number 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection and Law Number 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Assurance. Nevertheless, the implementation of these regulations remains inadequate, particularly in terms of supervision and law enforcement against non-compliant business actors. The absence of halal certification and insufficient disclosure of halal information at Sushi Go Restaurant potentially violates Muslim consumers’ rights to legal certainty and accurate information. Therefore, stronger regulatory enforcement, improved supervision, and increased awareness among business actors and consumers are essential to ensure effective legal protection for Muslim consumers.

This research examines the disproportionate allocation of legal responsibility between doctors and nurses in Indonesia’s health care system and proposes measures to reorganize accountability in a more fair and proportional way. The issue addressed stems from shortcomings in existing regulations, which have not yet ensured legal certainty or balanced legal protection for both professions in clinical practice. The study uses a normative juridical method, applying both statutory and conceptual approaches. The statutory approach reviews laws and regulations that govern professional authority and legal liability of doctors and nurses, while the conceptual approach analyzes legal principles, doctrines, and concepts related to professional responsibility in health services. Legal materials are collected through library research, including primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources, and are analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The results show that although statutory provisions formally regulate the distribution of authority and responsibility between doctors and nurses, there are still normative uncertainties, overlapping regulations, and legal gaps. These issues may lead to an unequal burden of legal responsibility, particularly in cases involving medical errors or negligence. Such conditions weaken legal protection for nurses and can negatively affect the quality of health care delivery. The study concludes that regulatory reform is needed to clarify legal responsibility in accordance with professional authority and to implement a more just and proportional system of accountability. The findings are expected to enrich health law studies and provide guidance for policymakers in developing a fairer legal responsibility framework for health professionals.

This study analyzes the juridical implications of delegated authority in the context of business license signing by heads of regional offices acting on behalf of regents. Using a qualitative approach with library research, the paper explores the legal foundation, validity, and administrative consequences of delegation within local governance. The findings indicate that delegation of authority is a legitimate administrative mechanism recognized under Indonesian law, particularly within Law No. 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government. However, its implementation frequently lacks procedural clarity, leading to potential legal defects (ultra vires) in administrative decisions. The study emphasizes that the validity of business permits depends on both formal and substantive fulfillment of delegation requirements through explicit legal instruments such as regional head decrees. Improper delegation not only invalidates administrative acts but also undermines legal certainty and public trust in local governance. Theoretically, this research contributes to strengthening the doctrine of state administrative legality, while practically, it provides recommendations for standardizing delegation mechanisms to enhance transparency, accountability, and legal compliance in regional public service delivery.

The formation of spiritual maturity within Christian families is often misunderstood as a result of chronological age or the length of one’s Christian experience. This literature study emphasizes that spiritual maturity is not determined by age, but by a continuous process of faith formation through biblical knowledge, spiritual practices, lifestyle modeling, and character transformation. Using library research methods, this study analyzes primary and secondary literature related to the role of families, stages of faith development, and the collaborative role of the church in spiritual formation. The findings reveal that the family serves as the central foundation of faith formation, requiring the active involvement of parents in Bible reading, prayer, ethical guidance, and moral example. Furthermore, spiritual maturity is influenced by developmental stages that do not necessarily correspond to biological age. The church functions as a collaborative partner that supports family spiritual growth through teaching, ministry involvement, and pastoral guidance. This study concludes that spiritual maturity is reflected in character and actions rather than ritual participation alone, and it recommends strengthening family-based faith education and cooperation with the church as a foundation for authentic spiritual growth.
