The urgency to strengthen the pedagogical competence of Islamic Elementary Teacher Education (PGMI) teachers has increased in line with 21st-century learning demands, which emphasize critical thinking, collaboration, and meaningful learning. However, in practice, many PGMI teachers still face significant gaps in understanding and applying constructivist approaches effectively. This article aims to analyze these gaps and evaluate the potential for developing pedagogical competencies within the framework of constructivist theory. This study adopts a qualitative approach using library research methods, gathering secondary data from scholarly literature, educational policies, and previous relevant studies. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis, applying the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal a persistent reliance on conventional teaching methods, limited pedagogical literacy regarding constructivism, and insufficient integration of theory into teacher education curricula and training. The study concludes that systemic reforms are required in curriculum design, teacher training, and institutional partnerships to bridge these pedagogical gaps. This article contributes both conceptually and practically to the development of constructivist-based learning models in Islamic elementary education. Field-based follow-up research is recommended to empirically strengthen these findings.

The problem in this study is the importance of understanding the nature of the object of education from the perspective of Islamic education. In general, the object of education is often understood as just a human who needs learning. But in Islamic education, the object of education is not just individual humans, but more than that. Humans as objects of education have very broad dimensions. Islamic education has indicated this in its main source, namely the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. To answer this research problem, the approach used is library research. The results of this study are the object of education in Islam refers to several words. First, the word ahl means family, wife, relatives, or people who live in the same place. the word ahl can also refer to various groups that are formed and formed in the reality of human life. Second, the word 'asyirah has varied meanings. The emphasis on the meaning of the most dominant is the family in a larger scope when compared to the family in terms of ahl. So that the term 'asyirah is not only limited to a relationship because of kinship, but also a relationship because of similarities both geographically or in terms of place of residence, ethnicity, tribe, or because of the intense interactive communication between existing community groups. Third, the term al-qurbu refers more to a family bound bybrotherhood, perhaps the brotherhood is the result of a lineage or brotherhood which is only limited to common perception. Thus, in Islamic education, education does not only focus on how to teach humans as individuals, but humans in various communities also receive serious attention in order to realize the goals of Islamic education, namely the actualization of faith and piety to Allah SWT in human’s soul.

The purpose of this paper is to find out about the hadiths about faith and the immoral actions of believers. The method used in this research is Content Analysis, with data collection techniques using library research. So far, many people have assumed that faith lies in the realm of theology alone. Whereas on the other hand the individual and sociological domains have an important role as a form of implementation of faith. If we examine more deeply about the Qur'an and Hadith, there are many verses and texts that state that faith is closely related to charity and morals. Morals can of course be seen from the way or attitudes of  humans in their daily lives, not only attitudes but can also be seen and become the human character itself. Having clear and strong faith means that our lives are directed towards one rule that we believe in and implement in life.
