This study aims to examine the role of community participation in supporting cleanliness programs to create a clean and healthy residential environment in Baru Village, Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving local residents and the neighborhood head (RT). The collected data were analyzed descriptively to identify the forms of community participation and the factors influencing it. The findings indicate that community participation plays an important role in supporting the success of environmental cleanliness programs. Such participation is reflected in regular community service activities, drainage cleaning, household waste management, proper waste disposal, environmental greening, and maintaining the cleanliness of homes and surrounding areas. Factors influencing community participation include residents’ awareness, support from neighborhood heads and community leaders, cooperation among residents, the availability of sanitation facilities, and the regular implementation of cleanliness activities. Community participation also provides positive impacts, including a cleaner and healthier environment, reduced risk of water stagnation, improved environmental comfort, and stronger social relationships among residents. Therefore, community participation needs to be continuously enhanced to ensure the sustainability of cleanliness programs and the ongoing realization of a clean and healthy residential environment.

This study aimed to determine the effect of Geoboard learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in plane geometry. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The participants were 29 fourth-grade students of SDN Pejagan 1 Bangkalan selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected through observation and multiple-choice achievement tests administered before and after the implementation of Geoboard media. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and the Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes after using Geoboard. The mean pretest score increased from 67.21 to 87.10 on the posttest, indicating an average gain of 19.90 points. The normality test confirmed that the data were normally distributed, while the Paired Sample t-Test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that Geoboard learning media significantly improves students’ mathematics learning outcomes in plane geometry. Therefore, Geoboard can be used as an effective learning medium to support mathematics instruction in elementary schools.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed various aspects of human life, including the education sector. In the Society 5.0 era, educational institutions are expected to integrate digital technologies into learning processes to develop adaptive, innovative, and globally competitive human resources. This study aims to analyze digital technology-based learning innovations in improving educational quality, identify their potential benefits, and examine the challenges and strategies for optimizing their implementation. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review by analyzing relevant academic sources, including scholarly journals, books, conference proceedings, and other scientific publications. The findings indicate that digital learning innovations are implemented through the utilization of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), interactive learning media, blended learning, and flipped classroom models. These technologies contribute to enhancing learning effectiveness, expanding educational accessibility, increasing student motivation and engagement, and fostering essential twenty-first-century competencies. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including digital inequality, inadequate technological infrastructure, limited digital competencies among educators, and concerns related to digital ethics and cybersecurity. Therefore, effective implementation requires comprehensive strategies, such as strengthening teachers' digital competencies, improving educational infrastructure, developing adaptive curricula, integrating innovative learning media, and promoting digital literacy and ethical awareness. These efforts are expected to support the development of a more adaptive, inclusive, and high-quality education system that aligns with the demands of the Society 5.0 era.

This study aims to analyze environmentally based science learning as an effort to enhance ecological awareness among elementary/Islamic elementary school (SD/MI) students through a literature review approach. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining reputable scientific articles published between 2020 and 2026. Data were collected through documentation, with literature selected using purposive sampling based on topic relevance, while data analysis utilized content analysis techniques to identify patterns, characteristics, and key findings across studies. The results indicate that environmentally based science learning is characterized by the integration of scientific concepts with real environmental contexts, the use of contextual approaches, and the application of active learning models such as problem-based learning, project-based learning, and inquiry learning. This approach has been proven to play a significant role in enhancing students’ ecological awareness, including knowledge, attitudes, and environmentally responsible behaviors. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, such as limited facilities, teacher competencies, and suboptimal integration into the curriculum. Additionally, research gaps remain, particularly regarding the lack of studies examining long-term impacts on students’ ecological behavior. Therefore, more innovative learning strategies and more comprehensive future research are needed.

This research is designed to portray the use of YouTube as an instructional medium, measure student learning outcomes before and after its implementation, and examine how YouTube media impacts the academic performance of fourth-grade students at SDN Socah 1. The study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest pattern. A total of 22 fourth-grade students at SDN Socah 1 were designated as research participants through purposive sampling. A written multiple-choice test consisting of 10 items was used as the data collection instrument. Data were analyzed using the normalized N-Gain formula and the Paired Sample T-Test at a significance threshold of α = 0.05. Findings showed a rise in the students' mean score from 40.9 on the pretest to 78.6 on the posttest, producing an average N-Gain of 0.67, which is classified as moderate. The Paired Sample T-Test produced a t-count of 8.751 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, resulting in the rejection of H₀ and confirming that YouTube media exerted a meaningful and constructive effect on students' learning achievement. Therefore, YouTube media is worthy of consideration as an innovative and effective digital technology-based instructional alternative for fostering comprehension and academic performance among elementary school students.

The curriculum is one of the important elements in education which functions as a guide for carrying out learning activities at school. The success of education really depends on the teacher's ability to understand and describe the existing curriculum system. This research aims to reveal the importance of teacher accuracy in describing the curriculum system during the learning process at SDN Sumbertlaseh 2 Sumbertlaseh Village. The method applied in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that teachers' accuracy in understanding and explaining the curriculum system can help the learning process take place more efficiently, increase students' understanding of the material being taught, and support the achievement of educational goals more optimally. Therefore, teachers need to improve their understanding of the structure and implementation of the curriculum so that the learning process becomes better.

This study aims to analyze the actualization of administrative service quality in managing school administration at MTs Darussalam Parigi Baru, Pondok Aren District, South Tangerang City, including service implementation, challenges encountered, and improvement efforts. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of administration, administrative staff, teachers, and students. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that administrative services have been implemented reasonably well through the application of excellent service principles, including reliability, responsiveness, responsibility, and effective communication in correspondence and student administration services. However, several challenges remain, such as limited human resources, partially manual filing systems, inadequate administrative facilities, and the absence of well-established standard operating procedures (SOPs). Improvement efforts have been carried out through strengthening work coordination, enhancing staff discipline, and developing a more structured administrative system. This study concludes that the quality of administrative services plays a strategic role in supporting administrative effectiveness and improving the quality of educational services in madrasahs.

This study aims to determine the effect of Field Work Practice (PKL) and Career Planning on the Job Readiness of grade XII students at SMKN 31 Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population consisted of all grade XII students of SMKN 31 Jakarta, and a saturated sampling technique was applied so that the entire population became the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination with the assistance of IBM SPSS. The results indicate that Field Work Practice has a positive and significant effect on Job Readiness, with a t-value of 9.967 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Career Planning also has a positive and significant effect on Job Readiness, with a t-value of 8.318 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Simultaneously, Field Work Practice and Career Planning significantly influence Job Readiness, as indicated by an F-value of 88.543 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The regression equation obtained was Y = -1.782 + 0.638X₁ + 0.450X₂. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.571 shows that both variables contribute 57.1% to Job Readiness, while 42.9% is influenced by other factors. The findings suggest that better implementation of PKL and more mature Career Planning are associated with higher levels of student Job Readiness.

Critical thinking skills are considered a fundamental skill essential for facing the challenges and complex issues of the 21st century. One teaching strategy considered effective in fostering these skills is the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method. This study aims to describe the application of PBL in the teaching and learning process and its impact on strengthening students' critical thinking skills. The approach used in this research is classroom action research (CAR) with descriptive qualitative methods. The study results revealed that the use of PBL can improve students' critical thinking skills, particularly in the aspects of interpretation, analysis, and assessment. In addition, the implementation of PBL also has a positive impact on increasing student activeness, collaboration skills, and independence in the learning process. Obstacles encountered during the learning process can be minimized through the application of appropriate strategies, such as providing scaffolding and optimizing the use of digital-based learning resources. These findings make an important contribution to the development of more effective teaching methods in improving the quality of students' critical thinking in schools, as well as offering practical solutions for teachers to increase student engagement in problem-based learning.

This study explores the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model combined with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach through the utilization of various forms of digital content to optimally enhance students’ learning outcomes. The research employs a descriptive qualitative design aimed at gaining an in-depth understanding of the learning process being implemented. The primary data were obtained from an analysis of the Grade VIII Indonesian language teaching module, while supporting data were collected through interviews with students of the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program involved in the learning process. The findings indicate that the design and implementation of learning activities followed the stages of PBL systematically, thereby encouraging collaboration, active discussion, and problem-solving activities in the classroom. CRT principles were clearly reflected in the selection of learning materials related to students’ cultural backgrounds, such as speech texts representing Banjar and Javanese cultures. The integration of digital media, including Google Sites, instructional videos, and interactive quizzes, was proven to increase students’ engagement, motivation, and participation during the learning process. Overall, the synergy between PBL, CRT, and digital content created a more relevant, inclusive, and contextual learning environment and had a positive impact on improving students’ learning outcomes.

Educational quality is a strategic issue that plays a crucial role in determining the competitiveness of human resources in the global era. The main factors influencing its achievement include effective leadership and the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM). However, previous studies reveal diverse approaches and findings that require a more comprehensive synthesis. Therefore, this article aims to systematically examine the role of leadership and quality management strategies in improving educational quality and to address the following questions: (1) how leadership contributes to the improvement of educational quality, and (2) how quality management strategies can be implemented to address global challenges. The method employed is a literature review through a systematic search of articles using Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP). The keywords “conflict resolution” and “quality leadership” were used to identify relevant literature. Out of 50 articles identified, 19 articles were selected based on publication year criteria (2022–2025), open-access availability, and topic relevance. The selected articles were then coded and categorized into thematic groups. The main findings reveal three dominant patterns: (1) visionary, transformational, and authentic leadership significantly influence educational quality; (2) TQM strategies serve as an innovative framework for quality improvement; and (3) a quality-oriented culture is essential in addressing global challenges. In conclusion, this synthesis emphasizes the importance of quality-based leadership and provides directions for future research related to the implementation of TQM in the digital era.

This study discusses the role of the school principal in building the discipline character of students at SD Negeri 51/1 Simpang Kubu Kandang. The issue at hand is the low level of discipline and the underdeveloped character of the students, which hinders the teaching and learning process. This study aims to analyze the principal's role, the challenges faced, and the efforts made in shaping the students' discipline character. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, and data analysis techniques include reduction, presentation, and verification. The findings show that the principal plays a role as a leader who provides direction, a supervisor who monitors the implementation of policies, and a motivator who encourages students to improve their discipline. The challenges faced include the lack of control over students' discipline outside the school and the low awareness of students in applying disciplined behavior. The solutions implemented by the principal include providing role models, guidance, reprimands, and carrying out habituation activities to instill discipline. This study provides an overview of the important role of the school principal in creating a discipline culture that supports the teaching and learning process.

The Selected Topics in Secondary School Mathematics course is a strategic subject in the mathematics education program, as it plays a crucial role in connecting mathematical theory with its application in secondary school teaching. However, various studies indicate that students often face difficulties in understanding this subject, particularly in mastering fundamental concepts, maintaining learning motivation, and applying concepts in instructional contexts. This study aims to identify effective learning strategies to overcome these challenges through a literature review approach. Data were collected from national and international journals published within the last five years, focusing on learning strategies and students’ learning difficulties. The findings reveal that the implementation of Project-Based Learning can enhance conceptual understanding and higher-order thinking skills, metacognitive-based strategies promote independent learning, the integration of character values strengthens motivation and academic ethics, and the use of interactive digital media facilitates the visualization of abstract concepts. This review concludes that the development of holistic, adaptive, and contextual learning strategies serves as an effective solution to address students’ difficulties in the Selected Topics in Secondary School Mathematics course while preparing them to become competent and character-driven future educators.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic character education through the integration of the Qur’an memorization program (Tahfiz al-Qur’an) and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at MA An Nur Prima, Medan, North Sumatra. The institution adopts a unique curriculum model in which students participate in Tahfiz activities every morning from 08:00 to 11:00, followed by formal learning, including PAI subjects, from 11:00 to 15:00. This design reflects a systematic effort to instill Islamic values through intensive interaction with the Qur’an while ensuring the achievement of academic competencies. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation during a four-week Professional Capacity Development (PKP) program. The findings show that Islamic character values such as discipline, responsibility, patience, perseverance, and love for the Qur’an were successfully cultivated through the synergy between the Tahfiz program and PAI instruction. Supporting factors included structured school discipline, strong collaboration between Tahfiz supervisors and PAI teachers, as well as high levels of students’ spiritual motivation. However, several challenges emerged, such as student fatigue, reduced concentration in afternoon classes, and differences in self-regulation skills. To address these issues, the school and teachers applied strategies such as providing an ISHOMA break, have lunch (rest, prayer, and meal), encouraging congregational Zuhur prayer, supplying meals to restore energy, incorporating ice-breaking activities, and designing interactive and engaging learning sessions. In conclusion, the integration of Tahfiz al-Qur’an and PAI proved effective in developing Islamic character values while maintaining a balance between students’ spiritual formation and academic performance.

This research is motivated by the problems faced by students in understanding fictional texts. Many students struggle to connect literary content with their personal experiences or real-life contexts, resulting in low reading interest, poor comprehension, and limited participation in literature learning. To address this issue, this study aims to develop an electronic module on fictional works based on Bogor’s local wisdom, to be integrated into Indonesian language learning at the secondary school level. The module is designed using local folk stories from the Bogor region—such as legends, myths, and traditional tales—which are rich in cultural and moral values. This approach seeks to make literary material more relatable, contextual, and meaningful for students, thus enhancing their engagement and understanding. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews with teachers and students, expert validation (media, content, and language), and questionnaires to assess students’ responses to the developed module. The results indicate that the module received a very high level of validation from experts: 94.4% from media experts, 96.6% from content experts, and the Sundanese translation was reviewed and verified by language experts. Student responses during both initial and main trials showed that the module was categorized as highly feasible and effective. These findings demonstrate that the electronic module meets technical, pedagogical, and cultural standards. In conclusion, this study contributes to the development of culturally responsive teaching materials and offers an innovative and engaging alternative for literature instruction. It also supports students in deepening their appreciation for local culture while improving their ability to understand and analyze fictional texts more effectively.

This research is motivated by the difficulties experienced by students in imagining and composing fantasy stories. To overcome this, a Flipbook-based e-module was developed for the Indonesian Language subject with fantasy story text material containing elements of critical reasoning to train students' critical reasoning skills. The purpose of this research is to develop digital learning media that facilitates the learning process. The research uses the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). This research was conducted at Puspita Middle School with 39 students of class VII-G as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires to students, educators, media experts and material experts to assess the feasibility of the e-module. The results showed that the e-module was declared valid and practical to use, with an assessment from media experts of 86.67%, material experts 98.67%, indicating a statement that it was very appropriate without revision, and an assessment from Indonesian Language teachers of 94.67%, and student responses of 96.14%. Thus, the e-module of fantasy story texts containing critical reasoning based on flipbooks gets a very good and very decent category.

This study aims to analyze the impact of Distance Learning (PJJ) on the learning outcomes of elementary school students during the COVID-19 pandemic. In its implementation, PJJ presents various challenges, including decreased learning outcomes (learning loss), lack of student involvement, low concentration, and limited learning facilities. Inhibiting factors such as access to technology, minimal parental guidance, and lack of motivation for independent learning also worsen the condition. However, various strategies have been implemented by teachers and parents to overcome these obstacles, ranging from variations in learning methods, strengthening communication, to creating a conducive learning environment. The results of the analysis show that collaboration between teachers and parents is very important in maintaining the quality of learning. This study also found a significant difference between learning outcomes before and during PJJ, where face-to-face learning tends to provide better results. This study recommends the need to strengthen educational infrastructure and increase the digital capacity of all elements of education as an effort to face similar challenges in the future.

This study aims to describe the application of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) learning model in improving the understanding of the concept of changes in the state of matter in Elementary School students. The background of this study is based on the low understanding of students on the material of changes in the state of matter, which can have an impact on the weak mastery of scientific concepts as a whole. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach, where data is collected through analysis of various scientific literature, journals, and relevant academic sources. The results of the study indicate that PJBL is a learning model that emphasizes the active involvement of students in real projects, from designing, implementing, to presenting the results. The application of PJBL in the topic of changes in the state of matter encourages students to experience scientific processes such as melting, evaporating, freezing, and condensing directly through simple experiments. PJBL not only improves students' conceptual understanding, but also develops science process skills, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and responsibility. In its implementation, PJBL follows certain stages starting from determining essential questions to reflection. Despite facing several challenges such as limited time, facilities, and teacher readiness, solutions can be sought through effective planning and professional training. Thus, PJBL has proven to be the right approach in improving the quality of science learning in elementary schools, especially in strengthening students' understanding of the concept of changes in the state of objects in a comprehensive and meaningful manner.

Instilling the value of unity from an early age is essential in shaping a young generation with tolerance and the ability to live harmoniously in diversity. However, the teaching of Pancasila in elementary schools is still largely carried out through conventional approaches that inadequately address students’ affective development. Instruction often remains teacher-centered and lacks interaction, making it difficult for students to internalize national values in their daily lives. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing the Think Pair Share (TPS) model in enhancing students’ understanding of the value of unity in sixth-grade Pancasila education. The research employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method. Data were collected from scholarly journals, books, and relevant studies published between 2020 and 2025. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to explore the patterns of TPS implementation and its impact on students’ comprehension of unity. The findings reveal that the TPS model fosters a collaborative, inclusive, and participatory learning environment, enabling students to grasp and internalize the value of unity more deeply. The stages of TPS—thinking, pairing, and sharing—provide students with opportunities to express opinions, listen to others' perspectives, and reach shared understanding. In addition to improving academic outcomes, this model also significantly contributes to the development of character and social attitudes. In conclusion, the TPS model is an effective and relevant teaching strategy for instilling Pancasila values, particularly unity, within the context of 21st-century learning and the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes active, contextual, and character-based education.

This study aims to examine the application of interactive multimedia in improving students' understanding of the concept of science and natural sciences on living things in grade III of elementary school. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various scientific journals, articles, and related documents. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that interactive multimedia makes a significant contribution in helping students understand abstract living things. This media presents information visually and verbally through images, sound, video, and animation, thereby increasing student involvement both cognitively and emotionally. The use of interactive multimedia also encourages active and scientific learning approaches such as observing, asking, and trying, which are in accordance with the cognitive development stage of elementary school students. Various studies have shown that the use of interactive multimedia improves learning outcomes by up to 25% compared to conventional methods. The main obstacle in its implementation is the limited facilities and ability of teachers to operate technology, but this can be overcome with training and support from various parties. In conclusion, interactive multimedia is effective as a learning aid to strengthen the understanding of science and natural sciences concepts, and is very relevant to the demands of 21st century learning which requires innovation, collaboration, and optimal use of technology in the classroom.
