Abstrak:
Facial recognition, a branch of image processing, is widely used in attendance systems to improve efficiency and security. This study develops an employee attendance monitoring system that integrates facial recognition using the Eigenface algorithm in OpenCV. The system records each individual's facial data alongside a password, enabling automated attendance tracking. Testing results indicate that with a database of 10 facial entries, the system achieved 100% accuracy in recognizing individuals. However, as the database expanded beyond 10 entries, accuracy declined to 80%, influenced by factors such as lighting variations, differences in facial structures, and increased data volume. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, with expert validation yielding a score of 3.4, categorizing the system as "Highly Valid." User testing with 11 participants resulted in an overall score of 36, classifying the system as "Very Good (Valid)." The findings highlight the potential of facial recognition in improving attendance management while minimizing fraudulent entries. Future research should focus on optimizing recognition accuracy in larger databases through refined preprocessing techniques, image quality adjustments, and deep learning models.

Dengan kemajuan teknologi saat ini, bisnis harus lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam menjalankan operasi mereka. Sistem penjualan adalah salah satu contoh teknologi ini, yang dapat mengatur produksi dan mencatat transaksi penjualan. Usaha UMKM Nata Nugros Singkong memproduksi dan menjual produk olahan singkong seperti Gethuk Crispy, Gemblong Cotot, dan Singkong Keju. Lokasi bisnis ini adalah di Dusun Krajan, Desa Doplang, Kecamatan Bawen, Kabupaten Semarang. UMKM Nata Nugros Singkong menghadapi masalah dalam mengelola transaksi penjualan produk, memantau stok dan ketersediaan produk, dan membuat laporan dengan cara yang lebih konvensional atau berbasis kertas. Menurut pendapat kami, penerapan sistem informasi penjualan adalah langkah yang tepat untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang ada. Sistem informasi ini berbasis web menggunakan PHP dan MySQL.

Abstrak:
Scam threats on digital platforms continue to rise alongside the rapid adoption of technology in Indonesia. The unique characteristics of Indonesian digital users, such as low digital literacy and high social media usage, make them particularly vulnerable to various forms of scams, including phishing, impersonation, and emotional manipulation. This study aims to develop a machine learning-based model for predicting and detecting scams by identifying threat patterns within a local context. The methodology involves collecting a survey-based dataset from Indonesian digital users, capturing language patterns and user interaction behaviors. The dataset was processed through text-cleaning techniques, tokenization, normalization, and representation using TF-IDF and Word Embeddings. The machine learning models employed in this study are Random Forest and Support Vector Machine (SVM), evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. Hyperparameter tuning was conducted to optimize model performance, while k-fold cross-validation was utilized to minimize the risk of overfitting. The results indicate that the Random Forest model achieved the best performance, with an accuracy of 92.5%, precision of 90.7%, recall of 94.1%, and F1-score of 92.4%. The use of local datasets improved detection accuracy by 7.8% compared to global datasets, highlighting the critical importance of contextual representation in identifying scam patterns specific to Indonesia. The model was also effective in recognizing unique threat patterns, such as the use of informal language and manipulative phrases in scam messages. This study makes a significant contribution to the field of digital security by providing an effective machine learning-based approach to detecting scam threats in Indonesia. Moreover, the findings underscore the importance of developing local datasets and educating users as part of a holistic solution to enhance digital security. These insights emphasize the necessity of incorporating cultural and contextual factors into technology-driven approaches for combating scams in developing countries like Indonesia

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra pengabdian remaja masjid antara lain: banyak remaja masjid tidak memahami perangkat lunak grafis atau prinsip desain grafis, dan desain acara masjid harus sesuai dengan nilai-nilai dan kebutuhan komunitas. Remaja masjid mungkin memerlukan waktu untuk memahami dan menerapkan elemen desain yang tepat, serta mengatur waktu mereka antara kegiatan masjid, sekolah, dan aktivitas lain. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di masjid remaja di Kecamatan Gajah Mungkur, khususnya di masjid MTA Gajah Mungkur. Para remaja menerima pelatihan langsung dan mendapatkan pendampingan langsung secara bertahap. Dalam waktu satu hari, kegiatan ini diikuti oleh sepuluh remaja dari masjid MTA Gajahmungkur, dan dipandu oleh lima pemateri atau dosen dari Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer dan Stikes Telogorejo. Ada berbagai metode pembelajaran, seperti ceramah, praktik, dan tanya jawab, untuk melakukan kegiatan ini. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di MTA Kecamatan Gajahmungkur, yang terdiri dari ceramah dan pelatihan di bidang pelatihan bagi para peserta (remaja masjid), dapat disimpulkan bahwa para peserta mengikuti pelatihan keterampilan komputer grafis. Mereka memperhatikan materi pelatihan seperti desain grafis untuk pemberdayaan komunitas dan desain grafis untuk mendukung produktivitas.

Problems faced by mosque youth service partners include: Not all MSMEs have good access to stable internet. This can hinder their ability to manage their online store, update inventory, or interact with customers efficiently. Many MSMEs have limitations in terms of human resources, technical expertise and technological infrastructure. This makes it difficult for them to manage the e-commerce platform effectively. Packaging and labels must match the product itself, both in terms of size, shape and other physical characteristics. Finding practical and attractive packaging that also protects the product well can be a challenge. Good packaging design can sometimes involve additional costs, such as graphic designer fees or custom packaging production. For MSMEs with limited budgets, this can be an obstacle.
This service activity was carried out in the Gunungpati Village hall on Jalan Magersari Gunungpati, Gunungpati District, Semarang, which included lectures, training and direct mentoring and step-by-step direct assistance. This activity was carried out over 2 days and was attended by 17 participants from MSME actors in the Gunungpati Village area in Gunungpati District, Semarang City and guided by 7 presenters/lecturers from the University of Computer Science and Technology.
Training activities along with assistance on product packaging labeling received a good response from partners and participants. Partners, in this case, the Gunungpati Village, appreciates this activity because it can help in developing the MSMEs of its fostered partners in increasing their knowledge and skills regarding labeling. Product labeling will be more perfect if it can be completed with halal legality and a production permit, so education needs to be carried out through training and mentoring regarding this matter, especially for MSMEs in business. Increased understanding of MSME business actors regarding the importance of packaging and label design on products sold, increased quality of product packaging through brands and labels printed on the packaging, and increased income from MSME business actors in Gunungpati Subdistrict.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Widya Praja Ungaran. Setiap tahun SMK Widya Praja Ungaran mengadakan Pendaftaran Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) untuk melakukan seleksicalon siswa. Pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 396 orang yang mendaftar dan 298 orangyang diterima. Proses PPDB dimulai dari calon siswa mengisi formulir pendaftaran dandiakhiri dengan pembayaran dana daftar ulang bagi siswa yang diterima. Sistem yangdigunakan dalam pelaksanaan PPDB masih berbasis kertas sehingga kinerja panitia PPDBkurang efektif.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem pendaftaran peserta didik barubarbasis komputer yang terstruktur pada sebuah database untuk membantu panitia PPDBdalam memproses data peserta pendaftaran, mengurangi biaya pembelian kertas,meminimalisir resiko kehilangan data, kerusakan data, kesalahan pencatatan danpenghitungan. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner danstudi literatur. Sistem ini dibuat menggunakan web dinamis dengan bahasa pemrogramanPHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dan database MySQL. Perancangan sistem ini menggunakanUML (Unified Modeling Language). Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah metodeR&D (Research and Development).Penelitian ini mengahasilkan sistem administrasi pendafataran peserta didik baruberbasis cash basis menggunakan web dinamis untuk memberikan kemudahan bagi panitiadalam mengolah data peserta PPDB dari proses pendaftaran hingga transaksi daftar ulangpeserta didik baru, serta menyajikan laporan dengan cepat dan akurat. Berdasarkan penelitianyang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil pengujian skor kevalidan sistem baru dari validator internaldan eksternal. Validator internal dengan 20 pernyataan diperoleh presentase kelayakansebesar 94%. Validator eksternal dengan 20 pernyataan diperoleh presentase kelayakansebesar 97%. Dari hasil pengujian tersebut dapat disimpulkkan bahwa sistem administrasipendafataran peserta didik baru dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan yang ditemukan dandapat diimplementasikan di objek penelitian.

Dewasa ini kondisi jalan sangat memprihatinkan, dimana banyak ruas jalan yang sudah rusak dan mengakibatkan banyak kemacetan, dikutip dari data Dinas Bina Marga Jawa Tengah, terdapat 286.650 km jalan rusak di wilayah Semarang. Banyak sekali masalah yang mengakibatkan kerusakan jalan, mulai dari kondisi curah hujan yang tinggi, banjir, jalan yang tergenang air, hingga menyebabkan jalan banyak yang berlubang. Sistem ini akan dibangun menggunakan eParticipation dengan menggunakan Pavement Condition Index (PCI) untuk melakukan penilaian kondisi jalan. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan PHP, database server MySQL dengan menggunakan Mapbox Javascript API (Application Programming Interfaces) Kriteria yang digunakan dalam pembobotan adalah Hasil dari PCI, panjang, lebar, kedalaman dan luas kerusakan jalan. Dari hasil uji validasi yang dilakukan oleh pakar materi menunjukkan nilai akhir adalah 35 maka sistem dinyatakan ‘Sangat Baik’, sedangkan hasil dari uji validasi pakar sistem menunjukkan nilai 35 dan pakar sistem menyatakan ‘Sangat Baik’, dari uji validasi yang dilakukan oleh sepuluh pengguna menunjukkan nilai lebih dari 31 dan kurang dari sama dengan 40 maka sistem dinyatakan ‘Sangat Bagus’ dan dapat digunakan untuk memberikan informasi kerusakan jalan kepada pemerintah dan masyarakat yang belum mengetahui kondisi jalan seutuhnya. Dari kesimpulan pakar sistem dan pakar materi maka perancangan sistem informasi informasi geografis pemetaan kerusakan jalan menggunakan eParticipation dengan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dinyatakan valid. Dari hasil uji validasi pengguna disimpulkan bahwa implementasi sistem informasi informasi geografis pemetaan kerusakan jalan menggunakan eParticipation dengan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dinyatakan efektif dan efisien.

Company XYZ in twelve months always has a program for selecting outstanding employees. . This selection process requires accuracy and time, because employee data will be compared with the criteria set by company XYZ. The criteria set by XYZ company are work discipline, employee attendance, obedience, teamwork, work period, work spirit, and work loyalty. The selection of outstanding employees is not right on target, because it is not based on weighting. In accordance with the regulations set by the XYZ company in the selection of outstanding employees, criteria are needed to determine who will be selected to receive the outstanding employee award.The simple additive weighting (SAW) method is often also known as the weighted addition method. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. The SAW method requires the process of normalizing the decision matrix (X) to a scale that can be compared with all existing alternative ratings. By using the SAW method can solve problems in the selection of outstanding employees.

Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) which are one of the top ten strategic technology trends for 2019 and continue to be developed massively in this 2020, have been widely applied in various mobile applications by many companies in this industrial revolution era 4.0. AR can be applied to help the promotion for housing developers where users can see the 3-dimensional shape of the types of houses offered, while VR allows users to explore each part of the house in a virtual 3D. Pre-existing brochures are used as markers for this application to work, so that AR and VR applications can be a complement to promotional media. The design method used in this paper is Research and Development (RnD). Salespeople can offer types of houses to prospective customers without having to print multiple brochures, but with just one brochure and one android smartphone to present, so the promotion costs are more efficient.

Abstract The development of technology has entered the digital era of mobile, which required information media is more than just print brochures and official website, because it offered a solution for the design of a medium that can be run through mobile devices based on Android that are engaging, interactive, and follow the latest technology that augmented reality and virtual reality. The method used in this design is the System Development Life Cycle or SDLC, while supporting software used is Unity3D and Vuforia. Results from this study is the successful mobile AR and 3D-VR Walkthrough to implement and complete the on-campus media STEKOM information which has been used.
