Tourism stands as a pivotal sector influencing social and cultural development, extending beyond its economic contributions to impact various facets of society. Efforts by governments to revitalize this sector include initiatives such as forming Community-Based Tourism Groups (Pokdarwis), entrusted with managing and promoting local tourism potential. Consequently, Pokdarwis are expected to assume a significant role in fostering social entrepreneurship. This research aims to delve into Pokdarwis' role in advancing social entrepreneurship to bolster tourism resilience within a region. By exploring how Pokdarwis act as catalysts in fostering a conducive ecosystem for social entrepreneurship, this study seeks to uncover effective strategies for enhancing tourism resilience and empowering local communities. Integrating Pokdarwis into the educational perspective strengthens their role in social entrepreneurship in the tourism sector. Education plays a crucial role in empowering communities and promoting sustainable development. Through collaboration with schools, universities, and educational institutions, Pokdarwis can integrate tourism-related topics into the curriculum, provide educational programs and workshops, and encourage research and knowledge sharing. These steps can enhance awareness, skills, and sustainable practices among local communities and tourists. Thus, this collaboration supports the holistic development of individuals and tourism destinations

Tourism is an open sector, characterized by low barriers to entry and influenced by various political, social, environmental, and technological trends. The concept of governance in the tourism industry has gained significant attention in recent years, as it plays a crucial role in ensuring the sustainable development and competitiveness of tourist destinations. This study presents the findings of an exploratory research study on a good governance model for Vanaprastha Tourism. The research revealed that Vanaprastha Tourism encompasses seven risk factors as a destination concept. These include nature engagement, the experience of silence and contemplation, engagement with traditional practices, a holistic approach to well-being, sustainability and environmental consciousness, cultural immersion and authentic experiences, community empowerment, and socio-economic impact. Assessing the seven factors and overall visitor perception is essential for effective governance in Vanaprastha Tourism. The framework includes eight assessment elements, with 30 indicators and 49 sub-indicators, offering a comprehensive evaluation of various aspects such as environmental sustainability, community engagement, and visitor satisfaction. Vanaprastha Tourism should advocate for responsible tourism practices and foster stakeholder collaboration to address critical challenges. This will allow Vanaprastha Tourism to emerge as a model for sustainable and responsible tourism and safeguard its distinctive cultural and environmental heritage.

With the choice of tourists increasing and giving each other the concept of trust, with almost similar values, this makes tourists more curious and confused. The influence of quality, quality, price and persuasive persuasion will influence tourists continuously in weighing which one is the best, which is more in his heart. However, on the other hand, this condition actually shows the weakness of the Tourism Office that tourists are a determining factor for the future of one of the tourist attractions, with the confidence of tourists supporting the economy of the people in tourist sites, especially under the Semarang Regency Tourism Office.
Currently the Semarang Regency Tourism Office uses posters and advertises through yellowpages as a medium for delivering information, from the promotional methods carried out there are still obstacles, including the use of posters and through yellowpages advertising, which is very limited in terms of size and information to be conveyed. Therefore, it requires a promotional media that is able to provide complete information about tourism profiles to potential tourists
