This research looks into how well Duolingo and YouTube help people learn Japanese. A quantitative approach was taken, gathering information from 35 individuals through an online questionnaire. Participants were chosen based on whether they used Duolingo, YouTube, or both platforms. The questionnaire explored their past learning experiences, how they use these platforms, their preferences, how effective they think these tools are, and what challenges they encountered while learning. The findings reveal that most of the participants already had some background in Japanese and preferred online resources due to their accessibility, no cost, and fun features. Duolingo was liked for its organized, game-like approach, whereas YouTube was appreciated for its authentic, visual materials. A lot of people enjoyed learning at their own pace, finding listening and pronunciation to be useful strategies. Some individuals struggled with staying motivated and dealing with complicated grammar rules. To sum up, both Duolingo and YouTube are good resources for learning basic Japanese, especially for those studying on their own. However, they work best when used alongside other resources. It is suggested to combine digital tools with guidance from teachers for the best outcomes.

When someone enters old age, symptoms such as senility or difficulty remembering new information often appear. This condition is known as dementia, a syndrome characterized by decreased cognitive function, behavioral changes, memory impairment, disorientation, and difficulty communicating and making decisions. This community service program aims to provide information and understanding about how to handle dementia that can be done at home. Activities are carried out through a counseling method consisting of a pre-test, education, and post-test, using leaflets and questionnaires containing questions to measure the level of understanding of participants. The results of the counseling showed an increase in participant knowledge, as seen from the comparison of the graph between the pre-test and post-test results. Education accompanied by brain gymnastics practices has been shown to have a positive impact on increasing participants' understanding of dementia and how to handle it. It is hoped that this counseling will continue to provide benefits to participants and can be applied in everyday life.

This research aims to analyze the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning based on emotional intelligence (EQ) in elementary schools in order to increase the effectiveness of adaptive and characterful learning. This study focuses on the use of AI to personalize teaching materials, strengthen spiritual values, and develop students' empathy and social skills through an EQ-based approach. The method used is literature study by analyzing various sources such as journals, books and articles related to AI, PAI and EQ-based learning. The research results show that AI integration can facilitate interactive and enjoyable learning, while the EQ approach strengthens students' internalization of religious and emotional values. However, its success depends on collaboration between technology, teachers and a curriculum oriented towards the holistic development of children. 

Investigating and evaluating the effects of work discipline and motivation on employee performance at Karawang Regency's Department of Manpower and Transmigration is the aim of this study. The study was prompted by the urgent need to address the issue of low staff productivity. The methodology used is a descriptive research with a quantitative experimental approach. The saturation sampling technique, which uses the entire population as the sample, was used to select the 100 respondents in total. Data was collected by questionnaires, and the results were analyzed using descriptive interpretation and multiple linear regression tests in SPSS version 25. Based on the validity test results, 15 items for each variable motivation, work discipline, and employee performance were declared valid, and all items were found to be reliable. The data analysis results indicated that the significance values for motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) were both 0.000. Since these values are less than 0.05, it can be concluded that both factors have a considerable effect on employee performance. These findings support the notion that more employee motivation and discipline translate into improved performance. With the best motivation and discipline, the Department of Manpower and Transmigration at Karawang Regency will be more productive.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Drops app in improving Japanese vocabulary acquisition among beginners. Based on the theory of cognitivism, the study used a descriptive qualitative method with a sample of 21 subjects who answered 11 questions through a Google Form survey. Results showed that the use of Drops significantly increased the average vocabulary score by 43 % (from 28.5 to 40.7), which was influenced by the integration of gamification features and spaced repetition mechanism in the application. The majority of respondents (76 %) reported high satisfaction with ease of use, learning motivation, and effectiveness of visual illustrations, consistent with previous research on audiovisual and gamification-based mobile apps. However, about 24 % of respondents recorded medium to low scores on motivational aspects and interface appearance, indicating the need for UX/UI enhancements to expand adoption. Demographic statistics revealed the average age of respondents to be 18.38 years (Q1=17; median=18; Q3=20), confirming that teenagers and pre-adults are the main group of Drops users. The findings provide recommendations for both language education practitioners and app developers to optimize design and features to maximize vocabulary learning effectiveness.

This study was conducted to determine how issue management was carried out by Bakso A Fung after the pork skin cracker incident. This study uses a qualitative research method with literature study techniques. From this incident, of course, Bakso A Fung requires several management strategies in managing this problem. This issue management strategy aims for the company to be able to know, observe, carry out, and resolve existing problems. The Bakso A Fung company identified the problem because this incident caused many concerns among consumers, especially consumers who are very concerned about the halal aspect of food products. The Bakso A Fung company responded quickly to the problem that occurred at one of its outlets in Bali.

This paper explores the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy adopted by PT Garuda Indonesia following its restructuring phase, with reference to the GRI Standards 2021 and SDG Compass framework. Initiated in 2020, the restructuring was a strategic response to the escalating financial and operational challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of its recovery strategy, Garuda Indonesia has embraced ESG as a foundational approach to promote long-term sustainability and contribute to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Employing a qualitative-descriptive method, the study analyzes the company’s 2023 Sustainability Report. The findings reveal that the airline has demonstrated a tangible commitment to lowering carbon emissions, enhancing employee well-being, and reinforcing governance structures. Nonetheless, there remains a need for greater transparency in reporting and better integration of ESG metrics into the company’s core operations. The study suggests that Garuda Indonesia should enhance the alignment of its ESG initiatives with SDG indicators and adopt the GRI Standards in a more holistic manner.

Indonesia sebagai negara tropis memiliki sumber daya alam yang melimpah, salah satunya yaitu tanaman kelapa (Cocos nucifera L.). Sabut kelapa merupakan produk samping dari tanaman kelapa yang memiliki berbagai manfaat. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh rendemen selulosa dari sabut kelapa sebesar 58,72%. Keberhasilan isolasi selulosa ditunjukan dengan munculnya puncak gugus fungsi O-H, C-H, dan C-O pada spektrum FTIR. Sintesis selulosa asetat telah dilakukan dengan memvariasikan perbandingan antara berat selulosa dan volume anhidrida asetat (1:10 dan 1:20) (b/v). Rendemen selulosa asetat hasil sintesis berturut-turut yaitu 30,44% dan 28,22%. Hasil sintesis menunjukan bahwa jenis selulosa asetat yang dihasilkan adalah selulosa monoasetat dengan derajat substitusi (DS) berturut-turut yaitu 0,48 dan 0,44. Keberhasilan sintesis selulosa asetat ditunjukan dengan munculnya puncak gugus fungsi O-H, C-H, C=O, dan C-O pada spektrum FTIR. Pada penelitian ini, selulosa asetat diaplikasikan dalam bioplastik dengan variasi konsentrasi 0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, dan 25% (b/b) dari berat tepung nasi aking. Aplikasi tersebut bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi selulosa asetat terhadap sifat mekanik dan fisik bioplastik. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa penambahan konsentrasi selulosa asetat menghasilkan nilai tertinggi untuk kuat tarik sebesar 13,58 MPa, persen elongasi sebesar 3,66%, modulus elastisitas sebesar 9,64 MPa, dan mampu menahan air sebesar 49,90%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sifat mekanik, bioplastik berbasis selulosa asetat belum memenuhi standar bioplastik pada SNI-7188.7:2016.

The development of technology and freedom of the press in the digital era has brought great changes in the form and manner of news delivery by the mass media. However, in reality, the media often becomes a means of spreading hate speech that has a negative impact on society and the democratic order. This article aims to examine how media coverage can contribute to the dissemination of hate speech and its impact on the application of Law No. 40/1999 on the Press. Through a qualitative research method approach with a descriptive and inductive approach, this article evaluates the media's responsibility to deliver information objectively and identifies elements in the news that can accelerate the spread of hate speech, such as provocative elements, lack of verification, and excessive news presentation. In this context, the active role of supervisory institutions such as the Press Council is needed so that press freedom continues to run in line with journalistic ethics and applicable laws, in order to maintain social cohesion and uphold democratic values in Indonesia.
