Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest levels of biodiversity in the world and possesses vast tropical forest areas that play a crucial role in maintaining the stability of global ecosystems. However, in recent decades, Indonesia’s forests have faced significant pressures due to deforestation and environmental degradation, which have broad impacts on ecological functions, climate balance, and the socio-economic lives of communities. This study aims to examine the role of biodiversity and ecological adaptation mechanisms in maintaining the stability of Indonesia’s forest ecosystems through a literature review approach. The findings show that deforestation directly affects biodiversity decline, habitat fragmentation, disruption of hydrological systems, increased erosion, and carbon emissions. Additionally, illegal activities such as logging and mining exacerbate environmental degradation. Biodiversity is proven to be an important factor in enhancing ecosystem resilience to disturbances, including climate change. Adaptation mechanisms such as the presence of bioindicator species, the formation of ecological corridors, and community participation in conservation can strengthen ecological resilience. Rehabilitation of degraded areas and the implementation of sustainable governance policies are necessary to restore the ecological functions of forests. This study emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach in conservation strategies, supported by strong scientific, social, and institutional frameworks to ensure the sustainability of Indonesia’s forest ecosystems in the future.

Desa Keji, Kecamatan Muntilan, Kabupaten Magelang termasuk desa lokus stunting.

Exploitation of mineral resources through mining activities in Indonesia provides significant economic benefits, but also causes various negative impacts on the environment and socio-economic life of local communities. This study aims to review the impacts of various types of mining activities such as sand, coal, and gold. Common environmental damages include deforestation, soil erosion, water, soil, and air pollution, and decreased biodiversity. Socio-economically, mining increases social conflict, health problems, and changes in people's livelihoods. Effective management efforts include law enforcement against illegal activities, implementation of reclamation and rehabilitation, application of impact mitigation technology, and active involvement of local communities in environmental management. Consistent implementation of policies and mitigation measures is key to achieving a balance between economic benefits and environmental sustainability.

Abstrak:
The rapid advancement of information technology has had a significant impact in various fields, particularly in pattern recognition and image processing. One of the ongoing challenges is accurately recognizing handwritten digits, which plays a crucial role in document digitization, automated form reading, and other intelligent systems. This study aims to implement and evaluate the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm, a simple yet effective classification technique, in recognizing handwritten digit images. The data used comes from the public dataset load_digits from Scikit-learn, which contains 1,797 grayscale images of handwritten digits sized 8x8 pixels. Each image is represented as a 64-dimensional feature vector. The dataset is split into training and testing data with an 80:20 ratio, and the model is trained using KNN with k=3. The experimental results show a classification accuracy of 96.94%, with minimal prediction errors that typically occur in digits with similar visual shapes, such as 5 and 9. This study demonstrates that KNN, despite its simplicity, can provide high accuracy in handwritten digit recognition when supported by proper preprocessing and parameter selection. The implications of this research highlight the potential for developing intelligent applications in education, data entry automation, and identity verification.

Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksplanatori ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Personal Life Interference with Work (PLIW), Work Enhancement of Personal Life (WEPL), dan Personal Life Enhancement of Work (PLEW) terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan wanita di PT Inimedia Kreatif Indonesia.
