This article discusses social criticism in a short story entitled "Kemarau" by Andrea Hirata. This article will focus on mimetic approach research on things or events in short stories related to social criticism in the short story entitled "Kemarau", namely: (1) criticism of political issues, when people feel disappointed about government promises that are not implemented (2) ) criticism of the economy, where when a group of people who live on the outskirts cannot feel the development and progress of infrastructure like in big cities (3) criticism of the negligence factor of the government when it has occupied its position. The government seems to have forgotten the promises it made before taking up its post. From the short story, it can be understood that literary works do not only display positive impressions or messages but can contain absolute things such as criticizing or satirizing.

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of using picture series on students' speaking skill. The researcher had done at MTSS Nagari Binjai. The problems in this research was caused by several factors. Firstly, students paid less attention to the English teacher. Secondly, they were afraid of making mistake to express ideas. In this research a quasi-experimental design was used by the researcher. The researcher used pre-test and post-test to experimental and control class. The sample was 2A as experimental class and taught by using picture series and 2B as control class and taught without using picture series. To determine the sample, the experimental and control class, the researcher utilized SPSS 20 to examine the data and check for normality and homogeneity. The researcher utilized the t-test formula to test the hypothesis and consulted the results in a t-table with level of significance of 0.05. It was found that there was a significant effect of using picture series toward students speaking skill. Then there was a significant difference between students who were taught using picture series and those who were taught without them. The value of t-calculated in the post-test from the experimental and control classes was greater than the t-table (3.4 > 2.021). The last hypothesis was that teaching with picture series was superior than teaching without picture series in terms of improving students' speaking skill. In the post-test, the mean score of the experimental class was greater than the control class (8.10 > 2.54).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pemberian santunan ketika penumpang Transjakarta mengalami kecelakaan. Penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis empiris yaitu penelitian dengan membahas bagaimana pelaksanaan pemberian santunan PT. Jasa Raharja terhadap penumpang Transjakarta yang mengalami kecelakaan. Sumber bahan yang diperoleh berasal dari peraturan perundang-undangan, wawancara dengan pihak yang berkaitan untuk menjawab segala pertanyaan dalam pemenuhan penyusunan penelitian dan literatur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Melihat dari peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku serta hasil wawancara dengan staff maka dapat disimpulkan bawasannya pelaksanaan pemberian santunan PT. Jasa Raharja terhadap penumpang Transjakarta yang mengalami kecelakaan terlaksana dengan baik meskipun dalam pelaksanaannya terjadi beberapa kendala. Walaupun terdapat beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaan pemberian santunan PT. Jasa Raharja terhadap penumpang Transjakarta yang mengalami kecelakaan terdapat beberapa upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengatasi kendala yang dialami dalam pelaksanaan pemberian santunan PT. Jasa Raharja terhadap penumpang Transjakarta yang mengalami kecelakaan. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala yang dialami sudah cukup mengatasi kendala yang terjadi, tetapi harus ditingkatkan kembali.

Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) has a very high economic value because cucumbers are widely consumed by people, so the need for cucumbers continues to increase every year. The nutritional value of cucumbers is quite good because this vegetable or fruit is a source of minerals and vitamins.  The purpose of the study was to determine the application of cow dung bokashi fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer for household waste and its interaction with the growth and production of cucumber plants. This research method uses a Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK), which consists of 2 (two) factors. The first factor is the application of cow dung bokashi fertilizer which is divided into 4 levels, namely S0 = 0.00 kg/plot (control), S1 = 2.16 kg/plot S2 = 4.32 kg/plot, and S3 = 6.48 kg/plot.  The second factor is that liquid organic fertilizer household waste is divided into 4 levels, namely L0 = 0 cc/liter of water/plant (control), L1 = 100 cc/plant, L2 = 200 cc/plant, and L3 = 300 cc/plant. The parameters observed are plant length (cm), number of fruits per sample (fruit), number of fruits per plot (fruit), fruit diameter (cm), fruit length per plot (cm), fruit weight per sample (grams) and fruit weight per plot (grams). From the results of statistical analysis, it shows that the application of cow dung bokashi fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer from household waste does not affect plant length (cm), but has an influence on the number of fruits per sample (fruit), the number of fruits per plot (fruit), the diameter of the fruit (cm), the length of the fruit per plot (cm) the weight of the fruit per sample (grams, and the weight of the fruit per plot (grams). The interaction of the treatment of applying organic fertilizer bokashi cow dung and liquid organic fertilizer household waste has no effect on plant length (cm), number of fruits per sample (fruit), number of fruits per plot (fruit), fruit diameter (cm), fruit length per plot (cm), fruit weight per sample (grams) and fruit weight per plot (grams)
 
 

The number of domestic violence in Serang Regency in 2019 was 102 cases. Around 60.6% of pregnant women are at risk of experiencing violence compared to women who are not pregnant (Ministry of Health, 2019). Preliminary data for pregnant women from the As-Soheh Medika clinic in 2022 reached 360 and the average patient for pregnant women was 30 people  in 2022. Data for September - December  2022 for pregnant women at the As-Soheh Medika clinic, 100 pregnant women.The method used in this study is to use a quantitative correlation approach. The sample for this study was 30 samples of pregnant women who experienced domestic violence during September - December 2022. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate with chi-square. Results: The incidence of physical violence was 4%, economic violence was 31.33%, psychological violence was 30.67% and psychological impact was 21%. The method used is univariate analysis in the form of a frequency distribution. There is a significant relationship between the psychological impact and the incidence of domestic violence in pregnant women with a P value of 0.00001 for physical violence, a P value of 0.01 for economic violence, and a P value of 0.003 for psychological violence. Conclusion: The most dominant incidence of domestic violence among pregnant women at the As-Soheh Medika Clinic in 2022 is economic violence at 31.33%. Psychological violence is 30.67% and physical violence is 4%. The number of events that experience psychological impact on pregnant women at the As-Soheh Medika Clinic in 2022 is 21%. There is a significant relationship between psychological impact and physical violence (p value 0.00001), economic violence (p value 0.01) and psychological violence (p value 0.003) for pregnant women at the As-Soheh Medika Clinic in 2022.

Which means... come to happiness. Happiness is the right of all human whatever religion. Similarly, as muslims with kalimah Adzan a can be drawn to an instructive conclusion. It includes bastion, unto esaan, confidence or tauhid, communication and happiness.

This study aims to analyze the accountability of subsidy spending to the Yogyakarta city government. This research is a qualitative research with an exploratory approach. The data were obtained through in-depth interviews from the literature study. It was concluded that there were bottlenecks for all six grant expenditure management processes. These obstacles arise in the accountability and reporting processes. These problems are (1) compliance problems that occur in the process of implementing accountability for grant spending, (2) regulatory constraints where regulations have not been conveyed to grant managers, especially those related to regional apparatus, (3) constraints in budget implementation. grant spending which takes a longer process because it has to go through several stages, (4) constraints in terms of lack of human resource competence and accountability and reporting capabilities, and (5) limited supporting facilities in realizing accountability for grant spending.This study reveals that coordination between grant-making institutions, information and communication between grant managers and grantees is critical in achieving accountability. Dissemination of regulations regarding grant issuance, sanctions, and assistance to the community or grant funders will contribute to better accountability for grant spending. Various efforts have been made to minimize delays in submitting accountability reports for grant funds, including imposition of penalties, ensuring accountability between grant managers, request in-depth reporting to grantees and the preparation of standardized accountability reports to facilitate the preparation of accountability reports by grantees. easier and helps reviewers verify reports.

This research is based on the many types of student writing errors and the inability to distinguish letters in 1st grade at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Ikhsan in Baleraja Village, Pilangsari Kasun.  The purpose of this research was to improve children's ability to recognize letters of the alphabet by employing the use of media. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) involving 13 students from Madrasah Ibtaaiyah Nurul Ikhsan, Class I. This study's instrument is an observation guide, and its technique is a descriptive quantitative approach. Using the KARSUN (arrangement-based cartoon) medium appears to improve the capacity to recognize alphabetic letters, as demonstrated by the study's findings. The results of the observation activity (pre-cycle) yielded a percentage of 7.7%, the results of the first cycle (pretest) yielded a percentage of 23.1%, and the results of the second cycle (posttest) yielded a larger percentage that met the criteria for developing as expected and exceedingly well, namely 53.8%. The ability of grade I (one) students of Madrasah Ibtaiyah Nurul Ikhsan to recognize the letters of the alphabet can thus be enhanced by employing KARSUN (arrangement-based cartoon) media.

Kabupaten Bulungan sebelumnya termasuk wilayah administrasi Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Namun, setelah mekarnya Provinsi Kalimantan Utara pada Tahun 2012, dilakukan revisi RTRW Kabupaten Bulungan yang mengacu pada RTRW Provinsi Kalimantan Utara Tahun 2017-2037. Perubahan kebijakan RTRW provinsi tersebut menjadi pertimbangan dilakukannya langkah Peninjauan Kembali (PK) terhadap RTRW Kabupaten Bulungan Tahun 2012-2032. Hasil PK yang dilakukan tahun 2018 ini akan menjadi masukkan substansi bagi penyusunan RTRW Kabupaten Bulungan 2018-2038. Studi bertujuan untuk mengkomparasikan penentuan pusat kegiatan dalam rencana struktur ruang wilayah dalam dokumen RTRW Kabupaten Bulungan Tahun 2012-2032, hasil Peninjauan Kembali (PK) RTRW Kabupaten Bulungan Tahun 2018, dan hasil analisis Skalogram Guttman serta Indeks Sentralitas Marshall. Studi dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Studi menunjukkan bahwa perubahan wilayah administrasi yang berimplikasi pada perubahan RTRW Kabupaten Bulungan menyebabkan perubahan pusat-pusat kegiatan, yaitu fungsi Pusat Pelayanan Kawasan (PPK) dan Pusat Pelayanan Lingkungan (PPL). Sedangkan fungsi Pusat Kegiatan Wilayah (PKW) dan Pusat Kegiatan Lingkungan (PKL) tetap mengacu pada arahan RTRW provinsi dan nasional. </em><em></em></p>
