The swift advancement of digital technology has introduced financial innovations like Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL). This payment method has become particularly popular among Generation Z, largely due to its promise of convenience and flexibility in online shopping. However, the widespread adoption of BNPL raises major concerns, especially regarding its implications for Generation Z's consumer behavior when viewed from an Islamic economic perspective. These concerns include impulse buying, the risk of excessive and unproductive debt accumulation, and potential conflicts with core Islamic principles such as the avoidance of waste and the prohibition of riba (interest). To mitigate these issues, it's crucial to improve financial literacy among Generation Z. We also need to ensure more transparency from BNPL providers, implement stricter regulations, and encourage responsible money management in line with Islamic principles. Keywords: Buy Now Pay Later, Generation Z, Islamic Economy

This study explores high school students' perceptions and awareness of human rights violations (HRV) on social media. Using a mixed-method approach involving interviews and questionnaires with 100 students from five schools in Pekanbaru, the research reveals that the majority of students recognize various HRV issues such as hate speech, cyberbullying, discrimination, and privacy violations, and understand their impacts. Approximately 75% of students feel responsible to report HRV incidents, though some hesitate due to fear or perceived helplessness. While most students are familiar with the term HR, only 60% can accurately define protected rights like privacy and freedom from bullying. The average awareness score is 7.5 out of 10, influenced by socio-economic background and parental education. Findings indicate that 70% have witnessed hate speech, 55% have experienced or observed cyberbullying, and 60% acknowledge that spreading hoaxes infringes on the right to information. A significant majority (85%) agree that HR education should be integrated into school curricula. Despite high awareness levels, students' understanding of the boundaries and consequences of digital expression remains limited, highlighting the need for ongoing educational interventions and curriculum development in digital ethics and human rights. The study emphasizes the importance of continuous literacy programs and recommends further research with broader geographic scope and qualitative methods to deepen understanding.

National defense is a concept regulated in a country's legislation, which refers to the patriotic attitude of individuals and groups in the context of citizenship. This study aims to explore the application of the concept of national defense, especially in the context of Pancasila education learning among elementary school students. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a literature study approach as a data collection technique. The results of the study indicate that Pancasila education learning has an important role in increasing awareness of national defense among elementary school students. Seeing the low level of public understanding, especially among students, regarding the importance of national defense, prevention efforts can be made by providing education through Pancasila Education subjects. In this lesson, students will be taught about the basic values ??of national defense, so that the threat of radicalism to the younger generation can be suppressed early on starting from elementary school level. Sustainable national defense can be carried out through education, training, and socialization in schools to strengthen the foundation of the Indonesian State.

The This research aims to determine and describe policy management strategies to improve public services, with a focus on community participation and policy evaluation. Increasing public expectations for fast, transparent and efficient services encourages the government to develop adaptive and innovative policies. This study uses qualitative methods to explore policy implementation in various regions. The research results show that the use of information technology has accelerated the service process and increased transparency, even though there are challenges with infrastructure gaps in several areas. In addition, active community participation in the policy-making process contributes to increasing the legitimacy and effectiveness of the policies implemented. However, unstructured policy evaluation is still an obstacle in assessing the success of public service programs. Therefore, it is important for the government to continue to innovate and adapt policies based on global changes, such as pandemics and environmental issues, to ensure more responsive and relevant public services in the future.

This study aims to analyze competency in improving accountability. This study uses the System Literature Review method using data sources from Mendeley, Publish or Perish 8 and Google Scholar with journal indexes Sinta 1, Sinta 2 and Sinta 3 as well as reputable international journals over a period of 5 years starting in 2019-2024. Article collection was carried out using the keywords competency and accountability. The results of this study indicate that competency formed by intellectual and physical abilities affects accountability and transparency, especially in village governance. Inadequate competency in village officials can hinder effective fund allocation, impact accountability and risk misallocation of funds due to weak monitoring and evaluation systems. Human resources are the main asset, and increasing competency in financial management among village officials is related to increasing accountability, in line with management theory, which emphasizes responsible and honest governance.
