Background: The rapid development of financial technology and the increasing volume of cross-border transactions have led to the emergence of increasingly complex digital financial crimes, involving anonymous actors and exploiting regulatory gaps and jurisdictional differences. This condition poses serious challenges to legal systems, particularly in terms of digital evidence, the attribution of legal liability, and the effectiveness of cross-border law enforcement. Objective: This study aims to reconstruct the framework of civil and criminal liability in digital fraud cases to make it more adaptive, integrated, and responsive to technological developments. Method: The research employs a qualitative socio-legal approach, combining normative analysis of cybercrime regulations, case studies of international digital fraud, comparative analysis of legal systems across countries, and interviews with legal practitioners and fintech regulators. Results: The findings reveal significant legal gaps, regulatory fragmentation across jurisdictions, and weaknesses in electronic evidence systems that hinder effective law enforcement. Additionally, the complexity of actors and technologies within digital ecosystems complicates the accurate attribution of legal responsibility. Therefore, an integrated legal framework is required, incorporating both civil and criminal liability, international regulatory harmonization, and the utilization of technology to enhance law enforcement effectiveness.

Background: Criminal justice reform has become a crucial global issue in maintaining the balance between the protection of individual rights and state authority, particularly amid the increasing complexity of law enforcement and the risk of abuse of power. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between the principles of due process of law, legal accountability, and the rule of law within criminal justice systems, as well as to compare their implementation in common law and civil law systems. Methods: This research employs a normative and comparative approach through the analysis of legal regulations, criminal justice practices, case studies of procedural violations, and cross-country comparisons, supported by interviews with academics and legal practitioners. Results: The findings indicate that although the principles of due process, legal accountability, and the rule of law are widely recognized, their implementation still faces significant challenges, including weak oversight, procedural inconsistencies, and limited institutional capacity. The comparative analysis also reveals a growing convergence between common law and civil law systems in adopting human rights-based standards, despite differences in procedural approaches. This study concludes that the holistic integration of these three principles is essential to establish a fair, transparent, and accountable criminal justice system.

This study aims to analyze the role and effectiveness of Islamic monetary policy in Indonesia in facing digital transformation, particularly through the instruments of Sertifikat Bank Indonesia Syariah (SBIS) and Sukuk Bank Indonesia (SukBI). The digital transformation of the national financial system demands an adaptive monetary policy that remains grounded in the principles of maqashid shariah. In the context of Islamic economics, monetary policy not only functions to regulate the money supply and maintain price stability but also ensures the realization of justice and economic welfare. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using literature-based data collection from official publications of Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and relevant academic references on Islamic monetary policy. The analysis adopts an inductive approach by examining the roles of SBIS and Sukuk BI in supporting the stability of the Islamic financial system and their alignment with maqashid shariah values such as al-‘adl (justice), al-wudhuh (transparency), and ar-rawaj (circulation of wealth). The findings indicate that digitalization has positively impacted the efficiency and transparency of Islamic monetary instruments, where SBIS plays a role in regulating the liquidity of Islamic banks in a non-usurious manner, while Sukuk BI serves as an essential instrument in maintaining national economic stability. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including the limited digital infrastructure for Islamic finance and the need to strengthen regulations to ensure that digital monetary systems remain consistent with sharia principles.

This study analyzes the legal framework and social implications of the modification licensing process in customary buildings. Modifications are often carried out in response to modernization, material changes, and contemporary functional needs, which have the potential to clash with efforts to preserve cultural values and local wisdom. Using a qualitative approach with case studies in several indigenous villages in Indonesia, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and review of licensing documents and related policies. The results of the study show that there is a tension between formal licensing laws (such as Building Permits/IMB) and customary laws that apply in local communities. An effective licensing process requires intensive dialogue and collaboration between local government authorities, customary institutions, and building owners to ensure modifications still respect the values contained in cultural heritage. The study recommends a flexible and consultation-based licensing framework that harmoniously integrates positive legal aspects and customary norms, while promoting community awareness and participation in heritage conservation.

The normal flora of chickens refers to the microbial communities that naturally inhabit the gastrointestinal tract and body surfaces of chickens, playing a crucial role in health, digestion, and immunity. This community consists of beneficial bacteria such as Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, and Bacillus, which assist in feed fermentation, vitamin synthesis, and inhibition of pathogenic growth. Additionally, the normal flora may include potential pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., and Campylobacter, which can cause diseases if microbial balance is disrupted. The diversity and balance of the microbiota are influenced by various abiotic factors, including feed quality, access to clean water, ambient temperature, humidity, and environmental hygiene. Biotic factors, such as microbial interactions, rearing systems, and contact with other animals, also play a significant role in determining microbial composition. Several studies have shown that the use of feed additives, such as probiotics and phytogenics, can enhance populations of beneficial bacteria while suppressing pathogenic bacteria. Extensive rearing systems, which provide chickens with more space and exposure to natural environments, tend to increase microbiota diversity compared to semi-intensive systems with more restricted conditions. Understanding these factors is essential for developing effective health management strategies and optimizing safe and sustainable poultry production.

Suicide among adolescents is a serious mental health problem; however, not all adolescents with suicidal ideation progress to suicide attempts. Understanding the psychological factors that influence the transition from intention to actual behavior is essential for effective prevention efforts. This study aims to examine the role of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) in understanding the transition from suicidal intention to suicide attempt behavior, as well as protective behaviors such as mental health help-seeking among adolescents. This study employs a literature review method with a quantitative correlational approach based on the TPB framework, using secondary data from scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025 and obtained through Google Scholar and PubMed. The findings indicate that suicidal ideation is the strongest predictor of suicidal intention but does not always lead to suicide attempts. TPB constructs, particularly perceived behavioral control (PBC), play a crucial role in determining whether intention develops into risky behavior or is redirected toward protective behaviors. In addition, positive attitudes toward mental health services and supportive social norms were found to strengthen adolescents’ intentions to seek help. In conclusion, TPB is a relevant theoretical framework for explaining both risk pathways and prevention pathways of adolescent suicide and has the potential to serve as a foundation for developing more effective prevention interventions.

Traditional food is a national asset. It not only serves as a source of energy for the community, but also serves as a form of food security, an economic driver, a source of healthy food, and a culture steeped in noble values. The widespread consumption of unhealthy foods by students, especially elementary school students, is one of the reasons for this outreach activity. The health issues surrounding junk food must be addressed by offering healthy alternatives, such as traditional foods. Traditional food is not only related to food, but can also be linked to ethnomathematics, where culture in the form of food is studied from a mathematical perspective. Elementary school students not only consume traditional foods but also interpret these foods in mathematical contexts, such as geometry and numbers. In this way, students will be able to visualize mathematical elements not only when reading math textbooks but also when consuming traditional foods that are part of their daily environment. Despite their traditional nature, students actually enjoy some traditional foods. This is a frequent conflict between the current generation and traditional culture. They better understand how to prepare traditional foods, appreciate the richness of local culture, and develop a love for their culture and homeland.

Background: Transnational crime has become increasingly complex and has wide-ranging impacts on victims, while existing legal systems still demonstrate fragmentation between criminal and civil law and remain inadequate in providing effective victim protection and recovery. Research objective: This study aims to analyze and strengthen victim protection in transnational crime through a restorative justice approach, with a particular emphasis on harmonizing criminal and civil legal mechanisms. Method: This study employs a socio-legal approach that integrates normative legal analysis with empirical methods, including case studies, comparative analysis across jurisdictions, and interviews with legal practitioners and non-governmental organizations. Results: The findings indicate that victim protection is hindered by weak restitution enforcement, complex compensation procedures, limited institutional coordination, and cross-border legal barriers. In addition, the implementation of restorative justice in the context of transnational crime remains limited due to the lack of integration within formal legal systems. Therefore, an integrative approach combining criminal law, civil law, and restorative justice is necessary to establish a more comprehensive, effective, and victim-oriented system of protection.

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) of the General Elections Commission (KPU) of Palangka Raya City in supporting the strengthening of democracy and public participation at the local level. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design through documentary studies on regulations, internal policies of KPU, PPID service reports, and public information request data, enriched with observations of the information service mechanisms both offline and online. The results show that, normatively and structurally, the PPID of Palangka Raya City KPU has carried out its functions in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 14 of 2008 and KPU Regulation No. 22 of 2023. The information service procedures, response time limits, and the use of the E-PPID system reflect the institutional commitment to the principle of transparency. However, the level of utilization of public information services is still relatively low and dominated by the academic community, particularly students. Additionally, there have been no recorded requests for information from disabled groups, despite the provision of disability-friendly facilities. These findings indicate a gap between administrative information openness and substantive public participation. This study concludes that strengthening the role of PPID in the future should be directed toward public communication strategies, political education, and inclusive approaches so that information openness does not stop at regulatory compliance but can make a tangible contribution to the consolidation of a participatory and just local democracy.
