In the Independent Curriculum implemented in schools starting the 2024/2025 academic year, there are Learning Outcomes (CP) that read "Students are able to modify/deconstruct literary works for creative economic purposes" and "Students are able to translate one text into another for creative economic purposes". In reality, in schools, there are still few teachers who connect literary works with economic issues, many teachers are still unfamiliar with the concept of translation, not many teachers have participated in translation training, and there is no guidebook for translating literary texts into non-literary texts or vice versa. This also applies to high school Indonesian Language teachers in Rembang Regency. Combining these two Learning Outcomes and connecting them to conditions in society, this community service conducted training on translating literary works into advertising texts for high school Indonesian Language teachers in Rembang Regency. The training was carried out with the first stage providing material on translation and advertising and the second stage providing mentoring to teachers to practice translating literary works into advertising.

The low interest and engagement of lower-grade primary school students in literature serve as an important introduction to this study. The aim of this Community Service Program (PKM) was to enhance children’s literary abilities through the use of three innovative media: word cards, short story videos, and descriptive texts. The study employed an experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design and a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on Kemmis & McTaggart (1988), carried out among grades I–III students at SD Katolik Roworeke 2, Ende (approximately 25–30 students per class). Results showed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group compared to the control group, especially in literary element comprehension and literary appreciation. Word cards enriched vocabulary, story videos increased visual appeal and understanding, while descriptive texts trained literacy and imagination skills. The interactive and contextual learning process proved effective in fostering reading interest, teacher creativity, and students’ literacy enthusiasm. In conclusion, this method is recommended for adoption by Indonesian Language and Literature teachers in lower grades. Future research should expand sample size, include diverse literary works, and explore supporting factors influencing method effectiveness.

The study was conducted at TK Negeri Pembina Baubau with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of two cycles. The subjects of the study were 20 early childhood students who were students at the institution. The demonstration method was used to provide direct examples of the correct stages of ablution, with the hope that children could imitate them correctly. The results of the study showed a significant increase in both ablution practice skills and children's enthusiasm during the learning process. In the second cycle, the majority of children were able to perform ablution independently with the correct sequence and movements. In addition, the learning atmosphere became more active and enjoyable. Thus, it can be concluded that the demonstration method is effective in creating a positive learning experience and is able to optimally improve the ablution skills of early childhood.

This study examines Kare Kare as a culinary heritage typical of Nagari Sulit Air, Solok Regency, West Sumatra. Using a qualitative approach with participatory observation techniques, interviews, and documentation, the study aims to document the history, manufacturing process, cultural values, and socio-economic role of Kare Kare. The results of the study indicate that Kare Kare has deep historical roots, passed down from generation to generation within the family. The manufacturing process reflects the local wisdom of the Minangkabau people, emphasizing the balance of ingredients and patience. Socio-economically, Kare Kare is a source of sustainable income and a marker of the collective identity of Nagari Sulit Air, especially for migrants. The main challenges in preserving Kare Kare are the lack of interest from the younger generation and changes in community consumption patterns. Conservation strategies include documentation of knowledge, production and marketing innovation, integration into local education, and development of culinary tourism through multi-party collaboration.
The use of digital media in education is increasingly important to support a more interactive and interesting learning process, including in literature learning. This article discusses a community service program that aims to empower teachers in schools to utilize digital media as a means for more effective and enjoyable literature learning. Through training and workshops, teachers are given an understanding and skills in using various digital platforms, such as videos, learning applications, and e-books, to increase students' interest in reading and appreciation of literature. The results of this activity show an increase in teachers' skills in integrating digital media in literature learning as well as an increase in students' enthusiasm in learning literature. Thus, teacher empowerment through the use of digital media is expected to optimize the literature learning process in schools, as well as answer the challenges of education in the digital era.
Community Service (PkM) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) HKBP Nomensen University Medan is a service program carried out by a team of students and DPL lecturers with the title "Utilization of Fiction Text Media and Mentimeter in Increasing Literacy in Literary and Numerical Language in High School Students Private Tri Sakti Lubuk Pakam”. The Community Service Program (PKM) of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training is implemented by the university in an effort to increase knowledge in students to gain added value and as a means of increasing insight and experience which can trigger broader knowledge for students. This activity aims to improve student character by using fictional text media and time meter in learning Indonesian and Mathematics, especially for TRI SAKTI Lubuk Pakam Private High School students, to be able to apply and receive Indonesian and Mathematics tutoring well, and be able to demonstrate knowledge Using the Mentimeter application or characters on students after participating in PKM community service activities can help the community, especially students, in completing missed lessons.
In Indonesia, science has been taught from an early age, starting from kindergarten to university, which emphasizes on critical thinking skills. Short film is one of the literary works in the form of audiovisual which is considered capable of helping improve students' critical thinking skills. In collaboration with the Dialectika Institute, a mass media institution engaged in civil society studies, research and development, especially focusing on the fields of religion, culture and democracy, this Community Service (PkM) activity was carried out for 3 days starting from the 22nd until February 24, 2023 which aims to improve participants’ critical thinking skills through training related to narrative and cinematographic elements in short films. In order to maximize training results, this PkM activity used several methods, including the Lecture-based Teaching style and the mentoring method in delivering training materials. In addition, the PkM team delivered questionnaires containing questions about the training material and opinions regarding the PkM to the participants in order to measure and see the results before and after the training. The results of the activity showed that this PkM activity was able to attract enthusiasm and was also able to improve the participants' critical thinking skills as seen from the results of the questionnaires delivered. In addition, this activity is able to make them see works from different perspectives than just seeing them as a means of entertainment.
Online check in is an online service check in for passengers by their personal smartphone that can be done anywhere within a maximum of 30 minutes before flight. In its implementation, passengers of Citilink Airlines at Bandung Husein Sastranegara International Airport still have several problems when using this service that leads to the implementation of online check in is not optimal. The purposes of this study are to examine: 1) The constraints experienced by passengers when traveling online check in, 2) Efforts to optimize implementation of online check in. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through observation techniques, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. To prove the validity of the research data, source and method triangulation tests were carried out. The results showed that the common problems experienced by Citilink Airlines passengers at Bandung Husein Sastranegara International Airport when using online check in are unstable signal, error on website, fault input of booking code and the passenger's last name, as well as the passenger's lack of understanding and enthusiasm for the online check in itself. Based on these problems, the optimization efforts undertaken include the provision of wifi at airports, diversion from online check in to check in counter, as well as more active education from officers to passengers about online check in.
Al-Qur’an dan Hadist berfungsi sebagai sumber utama pedoman untuk menempuh kehidupan pemeluk agama Islam di seluruh dunia. Allah SWT juga menurunkan firman-firmannya kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW yang disebut dengan Hadist. Al-Qur’an disebut sebagai kitab utama atau ummul kitab, penuntun, pedoman dan petunjuk umat manusia. Dengan adanya perkembangan kehidupan dunia maka akan berkaitan dengan perubahan peradaban umat manusia. Peradaban adalah kumpulan bentuk-bentuk kemajuan yang berupa keberadaan material, ilmu pengetahuan, seni, sastra, atau sosial dalam suatu masyarakat atau masyarakat yang sejenis. Al-Qur’an dan Hadits sebagai petunjuk pemeluk agama Islam perlu untuk diterapkan dalam kehidupan agar dapat mewujudkan peradaban yang hakiki. Rusaknya akhlak dan perilaku manusia yang melenceng dari Al-Qur’an dan Hadits akan menyebabkan keruntuhan peradaban sehingga perlu untuk memperbaiki hal tersebut dengan selalu mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SWT yaitu menjalankan semua kewajiban dan menjauhi semua larangannya agar tercipta peradaban yang maju yang memiliki nilai - nilai yang baik.
Drama sebagai seni pertunjukan memiliki kekhasan tersendiri yang bertumpu pada perpaduan cabang-cabang seni yang dicakupnya, sehingga sulit untuk mengajarkan drama sebagai seni pertunjukan Pementasan drama memasuki domain psikomotor dalam pembelajaran drama, tetapi juga memasukkan komponen kognitif dan emotif secara default. Bermain drama dalam pementasan mendapatkan pelajaran keterampilan drama yang serius dan mendalam. Metode dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan metode praktek. Sosialisasi dilakukan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton khususnya Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia mengenai pemanfaatan berdrama, karena sangat penting dilakukan oleh mahasiswa, untuk mendalami naskah dalam berbagai persoalan kehidupan. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 13 mahasiswa. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukan bahwa 9 mahasiswa mendapatkan kategori tinggi atau 69,24%, 3 orang mendapatkan kategori sedang atau 23,08%, dan 1 orang mendapatkan kategori rendah atau 7,69%, Artinya tingkat prkatek mencapai nilai rata-rata sebesar 76,3 sehingga secara keseluruhan, penampilan para peserta terbilang baik. Masalah lain yang perlu dibenahi adalah landasan akting.
