Latar Belakang: Kehilangan seluruh gigi (complete edentulism) dapat menyebabkan gangguan fungsi mastikasi, fonetik, estetika, serta menurunkan kualitas hidup dan kepercayaan diri pasien. Gigi tiruan lengkap (GTL) berbahan resin akrilik masih menjadi pilihan rehabilitasi yang banyak digunakan karena memiliki sifat estetik yang baik, mudah dimanipulasi, dan relatif ekonomis. Laporan Kasus: Seorang pasien perempuan berusia 42 tahun datang ke Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Soelastri Surakarta dengan keluhan kehilangan seluruh gigi pada rahang atas dan rahang bawah sejak tiga tahun yang lalu. Pasien mengalami kesulitan mengunyah, berbicara, dan merasa kurang percaya diri terhadap penampilannya. Pemeriksaan klinis menunjukkan kondisi edentulous lengkap pada kedua rahang disertai penurunan dimensi vertikal wajah. Rencana perawatan berupa pembuatan gigi tiruan lengkap berbahan resin akrilik heat-cured. Tahapan perawatan meliputi pencetakan anatomis dan fisiologis, pembuatan sendok cetak individual, pencatatan hubungan rahang, penyusunan gigi tiruan, try-in, insersi, serta evaluasi pasca pemasangan. Hasil: Setelah pemasangan gigi tiruan lengkap, diperoleh retensi dan stabilisasi yang baik, oklusi yang harmonis, serta perbaikan fungsi mastikasi, fonetik, dan estetika. Pada evaluasi satu minggu pasca-insersi, pasien tidak mengeluhkan rasa sakit maupun ketidaknyamanan, kondisi jaringan pendukung dalam keadaan sehat, dan pasien menyatakan puas terhadap hasil perawatan. Kesimpulan: Rehabilitasi pasien edentulous lengkap menggunakan gigi tiruan lengkap resin akrilik memberikan hasil klinis yang baik dalam mengembalikan fungsi pengunyahan, bicara, dan estetika. Keberhasilan perawatan dipengaruhi oleh ketepatan prosedur klinis, kualitas pembuatan gigi tiruan, serta kerja sama yang baik antara dokter gigi dan pasien.

The Pious Children Festival is a collaborative work program implemented by students (KKN) of Batang Hari Islamic University in Jelutih Village, Batin XXIV District. This activity aims to instill religious values ​​and strengthen children's self-confidence from an early age. A pious child is defined as an individual who consistently behaves well, possesses strong faith, and is devout in practicing Islamic teachings. The objectives of the Pious Children Festival include: (1) increasing children's enthusiasm for studying Islamic teachings, (2) developing children's interests and talents in religious matters, and (3) fostering children's self-confidence in showcasing their abilities. This activity is packaged in the form of religious competitions that include the call to prayer (adhan), memorization of short surahs (chapters), daily prayers, Qur'an recitation, and an Islamic fashion show. Participants from the PAUD (Early Childhood Education), Kindergarten (TK), and RA (Islamic Elementary School) levels take part. The implementation method involves several stages: analyzing the needs of early childhood children, planning activities, implementing programs, and evaluating and following up on the results. The results of the Pious Children Festival demonstrated an increased enthusiasm among the children of Jelutih Village for learning about Islam. Furthermore, this activity also had a positive impact on increasing the children's courage and confidence in showcasing their religious talents. This was evident in the changes in the attitudes of several boys who previously lacked confidence in performing the call to prayer, but after participating in this activity, became more courageous and confident.

Orang tua memainkan peran penting dalam perkembangan anak, baik dari segi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Tindakan bullying sering kali dialami oleh anak-anak di lingkungan sekolah, tidak terkecuali dengan peserta didik penghayat yang mengakibatkan kurangnya rasa percaya diri. Maka dari itu, peserta didik penghayat yang mendapatkan bullying sudah pasti membutuhkan dukungan dari orang-orang terdekat, yaitu orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik penghayat Kepercayaan Terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa di Kabupaten Tegal melalui pendekatan kognitif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari empat orang tua dan empat peserta didik penghayat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memainkan peran penting sebagai pendidik, motivator, fasilitator, dan pembimbing dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak. Pendekatan kognitif yang diterapkan, seperti komunikasi terbuka, pembentukan pola pikir positif, dan pemberian pujian, terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri anak. Namun, orang tua menghadapi kendala seperti stigma sosial, kurangnya pemahaman tentang pendekatan kognitif, dan keterbatasan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dukungan orang tua yang konsisten dan lingkungan yang inklusif sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik penghayat.

Anak dengan Down Syndrome (DS) menghadapi berbagai hambatan perkembangan, baik secara fisik, kognitif, sosial, maupun emosional, sehingga memerlukan layanan khusus. Salah satu masalah utama yang dialami adalah rendahnya keseimbangan akibat hipotonia, kelemahan otot, gangguan postural, serta keterbatasan sistem sensorimotor, yang berimplikasi pada risiko jatuh dan keterlambatan motorik. Selain itu, anak DS juga cenderung mengalami hambatan dalam sosialisasi yang berdampak pada rendahnya rasa percaya diri. Penelitian dan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di SLB D1 Surakarta ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan keseimbangan dan rasa percaya diri melalui intervensi menari di atas landasan dengan berbagai tekstur permukaan serta pemberian buku cerita interaktif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi baseline assessment, sosialisasi, latihan motorik, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test terhadap pengetahuan guru pendamping dan orang tua. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman orang tua dan guru mengenai pentingnya keseimbangan dan rasa percaya diri, dengan capaian pengetahuan baik meningkat dari 57,9% menjadi 89,5%. Selain itu, anak menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif dalam latihan yang menyenangkan, yang diyakini dapat memperbaiki kontrol postural sekaligus memupuk rasa percaya diri melalui pengalaman positif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan menari dan membaca buku cerita bergambar dapat menjadi strategi komplementer yang efektif untuk mendukung tumbuh kembang anak DS secara holistik.

In the process of finding their identity, the younger generation really needs knowledge about themselves. This involves understanding the strengths one has and how these strengths can be optimized and utilized for one’s own growth. Insecurity or insecurity is a psychological condition that is commonly experienced by many people. Feelings of insecurity can cause various negative effects, such as anxiety, depression, and low self-confidence. This article discusses ways to reduce feelings of insecurity by deepening personality knowledge. By deepening personality knowledge, a person can learn to know themselves better, increase self-confidence, and build healthy relationships with other people. This can help reduce feelings of insecurity and improve quality of life.

KDRT atau domestic violence merupakan kekerasan berbasis gender yang terjadi di ranah personal. Kekerasan ini banyak terjadi dalam hubungan relasi personal, dimana pelaku adalah orang yang dikenal baik dan dekat oleh korban, misalnya tindak kekerasan yang dilakukan suami terhadap istri, ayah terhadap anak, paman terhadap keponakan, kakek terhadap cucu. Dampak bagi korban adalah mengalami sakit fisik, tekanan mental, menurunnya rasa percaya diri dan harga diri, merasa tidak berdaya, merasa ketergantungan pada suami meski telah disiksa, stres pascatrauma, depresi, bahkan keinginan untuk bunuh diri.  Pengabdian Masyarakat ini berupa edukasi kepada warga terutama kader Kesehatan tentang KDRT dan dampaknya serta upaya pencegahan dan deteksi dini KDRT di lingkungan keluarga. Kader juga harus mengsosialisasikan upaya pemerintah dalam mengatasi kasus KDRT. Kegiatan edukasi ini membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran bagi warga, dan keluarga dalam penangganan terhadap kasus KDRT serta dampaknya.

This study discusses the implementation of flag ceremonies at Taman Kanak-Kanak Muslimat NU Bunga Harapan Lamongan and its impact on developing children's self-confidence. The flag ceremony is a formal ritual involving the raising of the national flag, conducted regularly in various educational institutions. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach to depict the phenomena and social interactions within the ceremony activities. Data collection methods include observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that engaging children as alternating officers during flag ceremonies can enhance their self-confidence. Children feel proud and happy when chosen by teachers to perform these roles, contributing to their character development and independence. Therefore, the application of flag ceremonies in educational settings positively influences children's personality formation

This research was conducted based on observations made on fifth-grade students, regarding their self-confidence, which still requires stimulation due to a lack of self-confidence. Based on this problem, an improvement is needed that can enhance students' self-confidence through engaging and enjoyable activities that are not frequently done, one of which is the role-playing method. The objective of this research is to determine the increase in self-confidence of fifth-grade students through the role-playing method at SD Negeri 26/IV Kota Jambi. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). It was conducted at SD Negeri 26/IV Kota Jambi from March 2025 to April 2025. The research subjects were 15 students and the class teacher. Data collection methods included observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis involved data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The performance indicator to be achieved is an increase in children's self-confidence by 75% out of 15 children using the role-playing method. The results of this study indicate that the role playing method is proven to be effective in increasing the self-confidence of fifth grade students at SDN 26/IV Jambi City. The increase in children's self-confidence can be seen from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the children's self-confidence ability was categorized as developing well by 44% with a good category. and in cycle II it increased to 94% with a very good category. So it can be concluded that the role playing method can increase self-confidence in fifth grade students at SDN 26/IV Jambi City.

This study discusses how bingo games can increase students' self-confidence at the primary school level. Bingo was chosen due to its interactive and fun nature, which is expected to create a learning environment that supports the development of students' self-confidence. This study aims to evaluate the effect of using bingo games on students' courage to actively participate in class. The approach used is a literature study, by reviewing various sources such as journal articles, books, previous research, and other relevant documents published in the last five years. The analysis process was carried out through the stages of collecting literature sources, categorizing data, synthesizing information, and drawing conclusions. The results of the literature review show that the implementation of bingo games in learning has significant potential in increasing students' confidence, which is reflected in the increased courage to speak in front of the class, actively answer questions, and interact with peers. This study concludes that bingo games can be an effective alternative learning method to develop elementary school students' self-confidence.

This international community service was conducted at Muslimeen Suksa School, Hatyai, Thailand. This PKM was conducted with the aim of providing training with the theme of Mindfullness to increase students' self-confidence. The problem that often occurs is that to motivate students' self-confidence, there is no specific curriculum that supports it. Moreover, students equivalent to high school prioritize emotional souls that are sometimes not accompanied by positive thinking, which has an impact on suboptimal self-confidence. Age is one of the considerations, considering that high school age is an age that prioritizes spontaneity or what is desired. Sometimes ideals have not been described by them. The method of this activity is in the form of training by distributing pretest and posttest answers to show participants' understanding before and after the material is given about Mindfullness, which is expected to increase students' self-confidence with the method being training that takes almost 3 hours, which is attended by around 75 students and 5 teachers and 1 principal. The results obtained in the form of descriptive qualitative by explaining and describing the conditions of participants who participated in this activity happily and enthusiastically, considering that this was the first activity to be followed and carried out by higher education institutions from Indonesia. The end of this activity is closed with relaxation

The purpose of this study was to determine how to generate PAK teacher attention in increasing self-confidence in class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Raya, Simalungun Regency, 2024/2025 Academic Year. The research method used is a qualitative method. The determination technique used to collect informants is using purposive sampling. The data collection technique used in this study used semi-structured interviews. The results of the study showed that the attention of PAK teachers in increasing the self-confidence of class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Raya, namely: (1) PAK teachers have provided optimal attention by providing supervision, guidance, ideas and input. The supervision provided by PAK teachers is classified as very good with a percentage of 75%; (2) providing motivation to students. The motivation given by PAK teachers is classified as very good with a percentage of 85%; (3) some students lack self-confidence which is shown in an optimistic attitude but already have a responsible attitude which is classified as sufficient with a percentage of 43%; and (4) PAK teachers have used good communication with students which aims not to weaken students' self-confidence. PAK teacher communication is classified as good with a percentage of 80%.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the self-confidence of 5-6-year-old children through the singing method at TK Methodist Mandala. The subjects of this study are 22 children, consisting of 13 boys and 9 girls. The instruments used in this research include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the singing method significantly enhances children's self-confidence. Most of the children showed positive developments in their courage to perform in front of the class, willingness to express their opinions, and enthusiasm to participate in activities. However, there are four children who still exhibit a lack of self-confidence, influenced by internal factors such as fear and inferiority, as well as external factors like the lack of parental involvement and economic conditions.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan makna penggunaan skincare bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini fokus untuk melihat; a) apa makna penggunaan produk skincare bagi mahasiswa, b) faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi penggunaan produk skincare, dan c) bagaimana dampak dari penggunaan produk skincare bagi mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna penggunaan produk skincare bagi mahasiswa adalah agar tetap terlihat cantik dan dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri yang tinggi. Penggunaan produk skincare dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal yaitu kesadaran diri, dan faktor eksternal seperti iklan sosial media (youtube, instagram, faceebook, televisi, dan twiter), teman sebaya, dan distributor produk skincare. Selain itu, penggunaan produk skincare memberi dampak positif bagi para pengguna, kulit menjadi putih, wajah menjadi cerah, dan tentunya cantik, sebaliknya terdapat juga dampak negatif yang dimbulkan yaitu terjadinya kerusakan pada kulit, seperti iritasi, timbul jerawat, kulit memerah, dan seterusnya.

According to the KBBI, the meaning of literacy itself, as reported on the Ministry of Education and Culture's official website, is the ability to write and read.  Etymologically, the term literacy itself comes from the Latin "literatus" which means someone who learns.  In this case, literacy is closely related to the process of reading and writing.  Literacy activities in the learning phase aim to develop the ability to understand texts and relate them to personal experiences, think critically, and process communication skills creatively through activities responding to the texts of enrichment books and textbooks.  Literacy or literacy is a general term that refers to a series of individual abilities and skills in reading, writing, speaking, calculating and solving problems at a certain level of expertise required in everyday life.  Benefits of literacy Expanding insight and knowledge.  Sharpen the ability to capture and understand information from reading.  Literacy is not the same as reading.  Reading and books are the surface technical and physical forms of literacy.  The essence of literacy is how humans gain knowledge and learn to gain knowledge.  Raising self-confidence in children is a parent's responsibility, although cultivating self-confidence is not an easy job.  Apart from requiring patience and example, parents must be clever in creating an atmosphere that is conducive to growing children's self-confidence.  Especially an atmosphere that is able to foster a child's sense of self-esteem which must be understood together, by building a child's self-esteem it will not automatically be able to grow a child's self-confidence.  However, if a child has a healthy sense of self-esteem by knowing and being able to accept himself as he is, including all his limitations, then he will be able to feel ashamed of himself and see everything as part of the reality of life.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: 1) Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penanaman cinta tanah air di Sanggar Ngandhong Cinawi Desa Klodran Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupaten Karanganyar; 2) Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan seni tari di Sanggar Ngandhong Cinawi Desa Klodran Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupaten Karanganyar; 3) Untuk mengetahui Penanaman cinta tanah air melalui seni tari di Sanggar Ngandhong Cinawi Desa Klodran Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupaten Karanganyar. Bentuk penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Strategi penelitian ini menggunakan strategi studi kasus tunggal. Subjek dalam penelitian ini antara lain pemilik sanggar, pelatih sanggar, peserta tari, orang tua peserta tari. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknis data kegiatan, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan penanaman karakter cinta tanah air seni tari di Sanggar Ngandhong Cinawi melalui kegiatan menari dengan percaya diri dihadapan banyak orang, berdoa sebelum memulai kegiatan tari, mempelajari nilai-nilai budaya; 2) Pelaksanaan kegiatan seni tari di Sanggar Ngandhong Cinawi berupa latihan rutin yang diadakan setiap Sabtu pada pukul 16.00 dengan guru tari, materi tari yang sesuai, pelatihan dan evaluasi serta guru tari yang profesional. Kegiatan pembelajaran materi tari Anila Prahastha yang dipentaskan; 3) Penanaman cinta tanah air di Sanggar tari Ngandhong Cinawi melalui tari dapat menjadi sarana yang efektif dalam menanamkan rasa cinta tanah air pada peserta tari, penanaman cinta tanah air berhasil ditanamkan pada seni tari memerlukan penentuan parameter melalui kegiatan seni tari yang menumbuhkan sikap mandiri, menjadi percaya diri dan menjalin hubungan sesama peserta tari, serta peserta tari merasakan keterkaitannya dengan budaya dan seni tradisional Indonesia. Everyone has different self-confidence. Confidence will grow by itself accompanied by encouragement in individuals who are trying to learn. But in reality, many children are born with a lack of self-confidence, so this hinders children from developing, as we often encounter cases of lack of self-confidence in adolescents, namely related to achievement, public speaking, body shape, family, friends or partners and much more. . Confidence is an individual's ability to develop oneself in a positive direction that is useful for oneself and the environment around them. The method used in this socialization is lecture. In this socialization, the subjects were teenagers at SMAN 1 Polokarto. This socialization aims to teach teenagers how to build self-confidence in themselves.

Blitar Etnik Nasional Karnival atau disingkat BEN Karnival adalah salah satu agenda rutinan pemerintah kota Blitar yang dilakukan untuk memperingati HUT ke-78 Republik Indonesia. Pemerintah kota Blitar menggelar kegiatan ini untuk yang kedua kalinya dan melibatkan Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar sebagai salah satu peserta acara. Mahasiswa UNU Blitar pada acara tersebut berkesempatan membawakan budaya dari daerah Banten dengan menampilkan kesenian tari cokek Banten. Tari cokek Banten merupakan salah satu kesenian yang biasanya ditampilkan untuk hiburan, salah satunya seperti pada acara pernikahan. Dalam repertoar gerak tari cokek, terdapat gerakan melenggok, sementara bagi mereka yang belum pernah menari harus menjadi terbiasa dengan gerakan tersebut. Untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, mereka dibekali pelatihan tari cokek selama kurang lebih satu bulan sampai menuju waktu puncak acara. Pelatihan tari cokek yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa UNU Blitar ternyata mampu membawa keberhasilan terbukti dari kemampuan mereka menari dengan penuh rasa percaya diri, dengan menampilkan gestur-gestur gerak tubuh sesuai dengan pakem asli dari tarian tersebut, bahkan ekspresi wajah mereka yang tidak lagi datar atau seperti menghapalkan gerakan tidak lagi nampak saat mereka aksi di atas panggung.
