Pierhead casting is a critical activity in toll road infrastructure projects that requires continuous concrete supply to maintain quality and execution time. Factors influencing the smooth casting process include the regularity of truck mixer arrival intervals and the work cycle of the truck concrete pump. This study aims to analyze the effect of truck mixer intervals and truck concrete pump performance on the productivity of pierhead casting at Pierhead P37S on the Solo–Yogyakarta–NYIA Toll Road Project, Section 2 Package 2.1A. The analysis method used field observation through time study techniques to measure the cycle duration of truck mixers and the operating time of the truck concrete pump. The analysis stages included calculating cycle time, productivity, production capacity, and working duration of each equipment. The results show that the truck concrete pump achieved a productivity of 0.425 m³/minute, while the truck mixer reached 0.989 m³/minute. These values were influenced by cycle time, equipment condition, work area condition, execution method, and work volume. Based on duration analysis, the truck concrete pump required about 4.7 hours to complete the casting of 120 m³ of ready-mix concrete, while the truck mixer required 2.022 hours to support the concrete supply process.

Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penentuan harga pokok produksi (HPP) dan harga jual kompetitif kue tar menggunakan metode Full Costing pada Toko Kue Hum’aisyah Cake di Kabupaten Dompu, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Data primer diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara langsung, sedangkan data sekunder bersumber dari laporan keuangan usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Full Costing menghasilkan perhitungan HPP yang lebih akurat dibandingkan metode sederhana yang diterapkan perusahaan selama ini. Total biaya produksi dengan metode sederhana tercatat sebesar Rp55.100.250 (Rp185.000/unit), sedangkan metode Full Costing menghasilkan Rp57.395.250 (Rp195.000/unit). Terdapat selisih sebesar Rp2.295.000 secara total atau Rp10.000 per unit. Selisih ini terjadi karena metode sederhana milik perusahaan belum memperhitungkan seluruh unsur biaya produksi, khususnya biaya overhead pabrik secara rinci.

Semarang Regency, one of the regions in Central Java, Indonesia, possesses considerable potential for the development of smallholder beef cattle farming. One strategy to support the growth of this sector is through partnership arrangements, particularly the gaduhan (cattle-sharing) system, which is widely practiced among smallholder farmers. This study aimed to analyze the gaduhan partnership model in smallholder beef cattle farming and its impact on farmers’ income in Semarang Regency. The research was conducted in August 2025 in Banyubiru and Pabelan Districts using a purposive sampling method involving 30 beef cattle farmers. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, with farm scale, farming experience, gaduhan partnership system, production costs, and livestock productivity as independent variables, and farmers’ income as the dependent variable. The results revealed that all independent variables jointly had a significant effect on farmers’ income, as indicated by an F-value of 132.412 and a significance level of 0.000. Partially, farm scale, the gaduhan partnership system, production costs, and livestock productivity significantly affected farmers’ income, whereas farming experience had no significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.883, indicating that 88.3% of the variation in farmers’ income could be explained by the model. The gaduhan partnership model in smallholder beef cattle farming in Semarang Regency is characterized by the influence of farm scale, farming experience, partnership arrangements, production costs, and livestock productivity on farmers’ income. The average income generated under the gaduhan partnership system was IDR 11,400,000, with a profit-sharing ratio of 60:40 between the livestock owner and the farmer.

Heat stress is a major constraint in broiler production systems located in humid tropical climates, where high ambient temperature and relative humidity impair growth performance, feed efficiency, and animal welfare. This systematic review synthesizes peer-reviewed studies published between January 2015 and December 2025 evaluating environmental housing designs and cooling strategies for mitigating heat stress in broiler chickens. This systematic review followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines and synthesized peer-reviewed studies retrieved from Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect, published between January 2015 and December 2025. From 500 records initially identified, 26 studies fulfilled the predefined eligibility criteria and were included in the qualitative synthesis. The findings demonstrate that evaporative cooling systems, tunnel ventilation, and automated climate control technologies consistently reduced indoor temperature (2–6°C) and improved body weight gain, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and mortality rates under hot-humid conditions. However, cooling efficiency was strongly influenced by ambient humidity, necessitating integrated and adaptive environmental control approaches. Smart sensor-based systems further enhanced microclimate stability and thermal uniformity within broiler houses. Beyond performance improvements, optimized environmental management reduced physiological stress indicators, including heterophil-to-lymphocyte ratios and corticosterone levels. Overall, integrated, humidity-adaptive, and energy-efficient cooling strategies are essential to sustain productivity, welfare, and climate resilience in tropical broiler production systems.

Poultry agribusiness is a key driver of food security and rural economic development in developing countries. However, the sector remains vulnerable to infectious diseases such as avian influenza and Newcastle disease, which can disrupt production systems and supply chain continuity. Although previous studies have examined poultry disease control, biosecurity, and supply chain disruption, evidence on how risk and crisis communication supports outbreak management and resilience in developing-country poultry agribusiness remains fragmented. This study applied a systematic literature review (SLR) approach under PRISMA guidelines to synthesize risk and crisis communication strategies in poultry disease management and their contribution to supply chain resilience. Only seven relevant studies published between 2020 and 2025 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using the PICO framework. Quality assessment using the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT), combined with systematic data extraction in Microsoft Excel 2021, was conducted to improve methodological transparency and consistency. The novelty of this review lies in integrating communication strategies, enabling and constraining factors, digital tools, One Health perspectives, and public–private collaboration within a single analytical synthesis. The findings indicate that participatory, transparent, and coordinated communication can support disease prevention and crisis preparedness, particularly when strengthened by stakeholder trust, policy support, training, and accessible information channels. However, limited digital literacy, inadequate infrastructure, and cultural barriers may reduce communication effectiveness. Overall, this review highlights the need for inclusive communication systems and collaborative governance to strengthen poultry supply chain resilience in developing countries, while recognizing that the small evidence base limits broad generalization.

Cattle farming plays a strategic role in rural economic development by generating employment, supplementary household income, and contributing to food and nutritional security. However, in Indonesia, most smallholder cattle enterprises remain traditional and small-scale, leading farmers to treat livestock farming primarily as a secondary livelihood. While previous studies have largely focused on technical adoption and production performance, limited attention has been given to farmers’ psychological interest as a foundation for sustaining livestock enterprises. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the level of community interest in cattle farming and examine the influence of farmers’ characteristics (age, education level, herd size, number of family dependents, farming experience, and primary income) on such interest. A quantitative survey was conducted involving 34 cattle farmers in Taji Village, Jabung District, Malang Regency, selected using total sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that community interest in cattle farming is generally high, as reflected in emotional (3.93), cognitive (3.81), and conative (3.74) dimensions measured on a four-point Likert scale. Regression results indicate that age has a significant positive effect (p = 0.022), whereas farming experience has a significant negative effect (p = 0.025) on interest levels. Other variables show no statistically significant influence. These findings highlight that psychological engagement in cattle farming is shaped more by demographic and experiential factors than by formal education or income level. The study contributes to the literature by positioning interest as a psychological determinant of livestock sustainability. Policy implications emphasize the urgency of risk-mitigation extension programs to address farmer burnout, incentivized intergenerational knowledge transfer, and cooperative-based institutional support to ensure smallholder livestock sustainability.

Gatot, a fermented-cassava food, is the culinary icon of Gatot Tourism Village in Sumberpucung Subdistrict, Malang Regency. Cafe Koka, the pioneering gatot business in the area, faces two problems that hold back its growth. Its drying process still relies on sunlight, so production stops during the rainy season and the failure rate reaches 30–40%, while product presentation lacks adequate display facilities, lowering its appeal and selling value. This community-service program installed a 5 kg-per-batch cabinet dryer and two display refrigerators, accompanied by dried-gatot packaging development and staff training. The work followed a Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle combined with participatory mentoring over eight months, evaluating production and marketing indicators. After the program, drying time dropped from 2–4 days to about 4–5 hours, the product failure rate fell to 8–10%, and drying uniformity rose to about 90%. On the marketing side, impulse purchases increased by more than 40%, customer satisfaction with product display reached 4.5 of 5 (n=50), and monthly revenue grew about 175% owing to the new packaged-gatot line. Combining production and marketing technology strengthened the self-reliance of this local-food micro-enterprise.

Pencak silat is not only interpreted as a martial art, but also as a medium for character building and life values. The Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) has teachings about brotherhood, courage, and social responsibility that need to be communicated in a relevant way in today's visual era. This design aims to create a character that represents the identity of PSHT Surabaya through a Research and Development (R&D) method with the stages of Planning, Production, and Evaluation (PPE). As a result, the rooster character was chosen as a symbol because it reflects the philosophy of courage and exemplary behavior. This design is expected to become a communicative visual identity while strengthening the organization's image.

Abstract. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness and reliability of production machines in the process of making public street lighting poles (PJU) at PT. XYZ The main problem faced by the company is high machine downtime so that production targets are not achieved. Therefore, a method is needed that is able to measure machine effectiveness as a whole and identify the main causes of production losses. The method applied includes Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to measure machine effectiveness based on three components, namely availability, performance and quality. The Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach is used to identify factors causing low effectiveness through Six Big Losses analysis. Apart from that, Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) are calculated to determine the level of machine reliability. The data used includes machine working hours, downtime, operating time, production quantities, defective products, as well as machine damage and repair data. The analysis results are expected to show the level of machine effectiveness and identify the dominant factors causing downtime. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas dan keandalan mesin produksi pada proses pembuatan tiang penerangan jalan umum (PJU) di PT. XYZ Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah downtime mesin yang tinggi sehingga target produksi tidak tercapai. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode yang mampu mengukur efektivitas mesin secara menyeluruh dan mengidentifikasi penyebab utama kerugian produksi. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) untuk mengukur efektivitas mesin berdasarkan tiga komponen, yaitu availability, performance, dan quality. Pendekatan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab rendahnya efektivitas melalui analisis Six Big Losses. Selain itu, dilakukan perhitungan Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) dan Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) untuk mengetahui tingkat keandalan mesin. Data yang digunakan mencakup jam kerja mesin, downtime, waktu operasi, jumlah produksi, produk cacat, serta data kerusakan dan perbaikan mesin. Hasil analisis diharapkan dapat menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas mesin dan mengidentifikasi faktor dominan penyebab downtime. The community service activities aim to improve business financial management skills and student readiness in facing the 2026 Indonesian Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival (FIKSI). The program is implemented by lecturers of the Digital Business Study Program at Al-Irsyad University Cilacap together with supervising teachers and 26 FIKSI finalist students from SMA Negeri 2 Cilacap, SMA Negeri 3 Cilacap, and SMA Negeri 1 Maos. The main problem faced by partners is the low ability to prepare business financial reports and the use of digital technology in business development. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) through stages of socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring, evaluation, and program sustainability. The results of the activity show an increase in student understanding and skills in recording transactions, calculating the cost of production, preparing profit and loss and cash flow reports, and utilizing digital financial applications and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support business development. In addition, supervising teachers received capacity building in assisting students in aspects of financial management and preparing business proposals. The establishment of the Smart Fintech Young Entrepreneur Community is a sustainable strategy for the program to support the development of digital entrepreneurship in schools. This program has proven effective in improving the quality of business and improving students' readiness for entrepreneurship competitions.

Abstract. PT XYZ, a wooden furniture manufacturing company, served as the research site for this study which applied the Theory of Constraints (TOC) method to analyze production performance and identify bottlenecks. The company faces capacity imbalances between workstations, resulting in production targets that have not been achieved optimally. Data collection involved direct observation and interviews with related parties in the production area. The analysis was conducted by comparing the required capacity with the available capacity at each production workstation. The findings reveal that solid processing, machining, sanding, assembling, painting, and packing have sufficient available capacities to meet production requirements, thus categorized as non-bottleneck processes. In contrast, the panel processing station is identified as the main bottleneck due to its highest workload among all processes. By implementing the Theory of Constraints, the company can identify major constraints and establish improvement priorities to enhance production flow smoothness. It is expected that improvements in bottleneck processes will increase production efficiency, balance capacity among workstations, and support more optimal achievement of production targets. PT XYZ sebuah perusahaan manufaktur furnitur kayu, menjadi lokasi penelitian ini yang menggunakan metode Theory of Constraints (TOC) untuk menganalisis kinerja produksi dan mengidentifikasi bottleneck. Perusahaan menghadapi ketidakseimbangan kapasitas antar stasiun kerja yang menyebabkan target produksi belum terdengar secara optimal. Pengumpulan data meliputi observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan pihak terkait di area produksi. Analisis dilaksanakan dengan membandingkan kapasitas yang dibutuhkan terhadap kapasitas yang tersedia pada setiap stasiun kerja produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembahanan solid, machining, sanding, assembling, painting, dan packing memiliki kapasitas yang tersedia yang masih mampu memenuhi kebutuhan produksi, sehingga termasuk kategori non-bottleneck. Sebaliknya, stasiun kerja pembahanan panel diidentifikasi sebagai bottleneck utama karena memiliki tingkat beban kerja tertinggi di antara seluruh proses. Dengan penerapan Theory of Constraints, perusahaan dapat mengidentifikasi kendala utama dan menentukan prioritas perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kelancaran aliran produksi. Diharapkan perbaikan pada proses bottleneck dapat meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, menyeimbangkan kapasitas antar stasiun kerja, serta mendukung pencapaian target output perusahaan secara lebih optimal. In today's rapidly developing era, advances in digital technology have brought significant changes to various fields, including the music industry. Music production processes that once relied heavily on analog equipment can now be carried out digitally through various software applications, one of which is Fruity Loops Studio (FL Studio). FL Studio is a digital music production software that is relatively easy for beginners to learn and is widely used in the creation of digital music. This technology enables individuals to create, record, edit, and produce music more efficiently without requiring expensive studio equipment. Therefore, proficiency in digital music production technology has become a relevant and essential skill for professional, educational, and creative industry purposes. Training in recording, mixing, and mastering techniques using FL Studio is one approach to enhancing the competencies of youth communities engaged in music activities. One of the target groups of this program is the K-Tong Lasiana Youth Community, a community actively involved in music creation, particularly ethnic music. However, their musical works are still primarily focused on live performances and have not been widely produced in digital recording formats due to limited knowledge and skills in digital music production. As a community service initiative, this training program is designed to equip community members with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in digital music production, enabling them to create high-quality musical works and distribute them through various digital platforms so that they can reach a broader audience.

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils derived from natural materials to improve physical and psychological well-being. One of the most popular aromatherapy products is the aromatherapy candle, which provides relaxation while creating a comfortable atmosphere. This study aimed to develop aromatherapy candles based on agarwood (Aquilaria malaccensis) leaf extract, evaluate product quality, analyze public acceptance, and identify their potential as an entrepreneurial opportunity. This study employed an experimental method with a descriptive approach. The research stages included the extraction of agarwood leaves through a distillation process, the formulation of aromatherapy candles, product validation by three experts using sensory evaluation, and a public acceptance test involving 40 respondents using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results showed that the third experiment produced the best extract characteristics, including a golden-yellow color, a stronger distinctive agarwood aroma, and an oily texture. The public acceptance test indicated that the average scores for color, texture, ease of use, and aroma were 3.16, 2.90, 3.42, and 3.02, respectively, which were categorized as good to very good. These findings demonstrate that agarwood leaf extract has the potential to be used as an alternative ingredient in the production of aromatherapy candles, in addition to receiving a high level of public acceptance, the product possesses economic value and can be developed as an innovative product and entrepreneurial opportunity in the beauty, spa, wellness, and creative industries.

The opening of the wrench opening for M14 bolts is broken in use as a problem encountered in field activities. The manufacturing objective is to obtain an M14 mm wrench-ring wrench from forged steel measuring 200x6.5 mm. The manufacturing method includes: wrench design on one end and ring wrench design on the other end for bolt size M14 mm, cutting sufficient volume of steel material after forging according to the design, wrench forging on one end and ring wrench forging on the other end for bolt size M14, Chromium plating; finishing of wrench gap and hexagon for ring wrench with a distance of 22 mm, and quality-dimension-standard inspection. TThe manufacturing results are in the form of a paired wrench with an M14 mm ring wrench made of forged steel coated with chromium measuring 200x6.5 mm with a total production cost of IDR 30,000/unit, and a process duration of 3 minutes/unit which has the impact that the paired wrench with a ring wrench for M14 mm bolts measuring 200x6.5 mm can be used for M14 bolts in general with an opening width of 22 mm for both ends as a wrench or ring wrench.

This community service program (PkM) aims to enhance the digital literacy of teachers and students at Pondok Pesantren Al-Wathoniyah Pusat Putri Klender, East Jakarta, particularly in verifying digital news and content amid pervasive disinformation. Key problems identified include low digital verification competency among senior teachers, limited use of fact-checking tools, and the absence of systematic information management mechanisms within the pesantren. The activity was held on June 10, 2026, employing a blended learning approach combining interactive lectures, hands-on training, and continuous mentoring. Training modules covered: (1) digital literacy for teachers, (2) mitigation of religious information distortion, (3) critical media literacy, (4) videography skills, and (5) content marketing grounded in Islamic values. Thirty teachers and senior students participated. Key outputs include enhanced digital literacy competencies among participants, the Smart Teacher Guidelines module, a donated photography studio equipment set, and national media coverage (JPNN.com). Evaluation results demonstrate significant improvement in participants' understanding of digital information verification, positive content production capability, and motivation to use technology responsibly. This program contributes to SDGs No. 4 (Quality Education), SDGs No. 9 (Innovation), SDGs No. 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDGs No. 17 (Partnerships), as well as supporting IKU 3, IKU 5, and IKU 6 of Universitas Negeri Jakarta.

The empowerment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a strategic effort to enhance the capacity and independence of business actors in supporting sustainable economic development. However, based on data from Rumah BUMN Aceh Utara, out of a total of 413 assisted MSMEs, only 9.16% have successfully upgraded their business status, while 90.84% have not yet done so. This study aims to describe MSME empowerment through the assistance program of Rumah BUMN Aceh Utara and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving Rumah BUMN managers and MSME actors, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results show that MSME empowerment in Rumah BUMN Aceh Utara is based on Suharto’s theory, which consists of three main approaches, namely empowering through training and mentoring that contributes to the improvement of business actors’ capacities, protecting through business legality facilitation, and supporting through the provision of production facilities, packaging machines, access to capital, promotion, and MSME gallery facilities, although these have not yet been fully optimized. The supporting factors of MSME empowerment include institutional support, technological development, and MSME participation, while the inhibiting factors include limited human resources, limited funding, and low participation of some MSME actors. This community service initiative aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the residents of Ilih Village, Damer District, Southwest Maluku Regency, regarding the use of banana corms as a nutritious and cost-effective alternative food source. Banana corms have historically been underutilized and generally treated merely as agricultural waste. Through training and mentoring sessions, the community was educated on the nutritional content of banana corms, processing techniques, and business opportunities for home-based banana corm nugget production. The methods employed included outreach, demonstrations, hands-on nugget-making training, and an evaluation of the activity's outcomes. The results indicate a high level of community enthusiasm for the innovation of processing banana corms into nuggets. Following the activity, participants demonstrated increased knowledge regarding the utilization of local food ingredients, hygienic processing techniques, and the economic potential of the processed product. The banana corm nuggets offered a pleasant taste and appealing texture, and were well-received by the community. Furthermore, the product's low production cost suggests it could serve as a source of additional income for villagers. This initiative is expected to support local food security and improve community welfare through the development of food businesses based on local resources.

The fast fashion industry has actually become the second largest contributor to textile waste in the world due to rapid production cycles, high consumer demand, and the use of synthetic materials that are difficult to biodegrade. This phenomenon causes serious environmental impacts such as water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, accumulation of solid waste, and microplastic pollution that threatens marine ecosystems. In Indonesia, although environmental regulations such as Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management and Law Number 18 of 2008 concerning Waste Management exist, the implementation of fast fashion waste management still faces various obstacles. This study aims to analyze the implementation of waste management regulations in the fast fashion industry in Indonesia and to examine why the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) mechanism is necessary as a legal instrument for textile waste management. The method used is normative juridical with an ecological approach, utilizing primary and secondary legal materials, as well as qualitative-descriptive and comparative analysis with France, the Netherlands, and Sweden. The findings reveal four main legal gaps: the absence of a definition for post-consumer textile waste, the lack of a binding take-back mechanism for producers, weak fiscal instruments supporting EPR, and the absence of ecodesign obligations. The implication of this study highlights the need for regulatory reconstruction that specifically addresses the responsibility of fast fashion producers throughout the product life cycle to achieve more effective and sustainable waste management.

Plastic waste, particularly bottle caps, poses a significant environmental challenge due to its slow degradation rate. This study aims to design a functional shoe rack utilizing plastic bottle cap waste to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production). The product development process employed the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method to translate consumer needs into measurable technical specifications. Concept selection was evaluated using the Pugh Matrix, while financial feasibility was analyzed through the Break Even Point (BEP) approach. The research resulted in an optimal shoe rack design measuring 53x32x37 cm, weighing 1.5 kg, and featuring additional side hangers for socks. The production process involves shredding, molding with resin, cutting, and assembling, with a total duration of 367.03 minutes. Financial analysis indicates that the business reaches the break-even point at a minimum production of 2 units or a total sales value of Rp227,272. This research demonstrates that integrating industrial engineering methods into plastic waste management can produce functional, durable, and economically viable products.

This study aims to design a liquid dish soap made from lerak fruit (Sapindus rarak DC.) as an environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic chemical-based soaps. Lerak fruit was selected due to its high saponin content, which functions as a natural surfactant capable of producing foam and removing grease. This research integrates three courses: Product Design and Development using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method with House of Quality (HOQ) to identify consumer needs; Work Measurement Analysis using Operation Process Charts (OPC) to design the production process; and Cost Estimation Analysis using the full costing method to calculate production costs and determine the selling price. Results show that the best product concepts are Concept 4 and Concept 8, characterized by natural lerak surfactant, active ingredient concentration above 15%, pH of approximately 6, citrus/lemon scent, and pump bottle packaging. The production process consists of preparation, mixing, boiling, addition of thickener, cooling, pressing, filtering, and packaging, with a total production time of 142.05 minutes for two 500 ml products. Total production cost is Rp65,184, with a cost of goods sold (COGS) of Rp32,592 per unit and a selling price of Rp34,000 per unit.
