This study aims to analyze the obstacles in Social Studies (IPS) learning related to global issues influenced by technological advancement through a literature review method. Social Studies plays an essential role in shaping students’ understanding of social, economic, cultural, and political life while fostering global awareness in the digital era. However, in practice, IPS learning often faces various challenges that reduce its effectiveness and attractiveness. One of the main problems is students ’low interestin IPS, as it is often perceived as boring and overly theoretical, combined with the influence of technology that diverts students’ attention toward digital entertainment. Other contributing factors include non-interactive teaching methods, limited learning facilities, unconducive classroom environments, and a lack of parental support. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study found that relevant strategies to overcome these issues include Project-Based Learning, Technology Integration, and Contextual Approaches. These strategies enable students to learn actively, critically, and collaboratively by linking IPS material to global issues and real-world phenomena. The recommended solutions include implementing project-based education, utilizing interactive digital media, and fostering intercultural dialogue within the learning process. The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of adaptive IPS learning models in response to technological progress, as well as practical benefits for teachers, schools, and policymakers in creating Social Studies learning that is engaging, meaningful, and relevant to the global challenges of the 21st century.

This study aims to analyze various obstacles in Social Sciences (IPS) learning related to global issues that are increasingly influenced by technological advances, through literature study methods. Social studies has a strategic role in shaping students' understanding of social, economic, cultural, and political aspects, as well as fostering global awareness in the digital era. However, the effectiveness of social studies learning still faces a number of obstacles, especially low student interest because the material is considered boring, too theoretical, and less interesting than digital entertainment. In addition, less interactive learning methods, limited facilities, unconducive classroom environment, and lack of parental support also worsen the quality of learning. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study identifies several relevant learning strategies to overcome these constraints, including ProjectBased Learning, technology integration, and contextual approaches. These three strategies allow students to learn actively, critically, and collaboratively by relating social studies materials to global issues and real phenomena. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of social studies learning models that are adaptive to technological developments, as well as practical benefits for teachers, schools, and policymakers in creating social studies learning that is more interesting, meaningful, and relevant to the global challenges of the 21st century.

This study aims to determine the contribution of the variables of Self-Motivation, Learning Discipline, and Parental Support both partially and simultaneously to student learning achievement in the Automotive Engineering expertise program at SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih. This type of research is included in quantitative correlational research with multiple regression analysis techniques. The entire population was sampled with a total of 104 grade XII students. Data collection used a closed questionnaire and student final exam results documents. The research instrument that has passed the validity and reliability test, then continued with the classical assumption test to ensure that the regression model meets the eligibility requirements. The results showed that the three independent variables contributed significantly to student automotive learning achievement with a value of F = 26.718. Simultaneously with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.001) and an Adjusted R Square value of 0.428 which means the model is able to explain 42.8% of the variation in learning achievement. Partially, the Self-Motivation variable significantly (p<0.05) provides the largest contribution to student learning achievement with a t-value of 2.120 followed by Learning Discipline with a t-value of 1.992 and Parental Support with a t-value of 2.021. The magnitude of the real contribution of each variable, namely: Self-Motivation of 12.15%, Learning Discipline of 10.49%, and Parental Support of 10.24%. These results emphasize the importance of strengthening students' intrinsic motivation, habituating learning discipline, and active parental involvement to improve learning outcomes in vocational education.

This study examines the revitalization of the Qur’anic Education Center (TPA) in Mekar Jaya Village, which had ceased operating due to the loss of its main teacher and limited volunteer support. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program engaged community members, volunteers, religious leaders, and parents in collaborative efforts to restore regular Qur’an learning activities and strengthen the TPA’s function as a vital center of Islamic education. The intervention led to increased student participation, including the return of former learners and the enrollment of new participants, as well as improved learning motivation through active engagement and parental support. This collaborative revitalization not only revived essential Islamic learning for children but also fostered sustained community involvement, highlighting the critical role of volunteers and local leadership in sustaining nonformal religious education. The model developed through this initiative provides practical implications for other rural communities seeking to maintain and strengthen Islamic educational institutions.

The research design used was quantitative research, and the method used was a survey with a Likert scale. The population was all athletes at the Flam Aquatic Kediri swimming club. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, and this research used 37 athletes as the sample. The instrument was analysed by Pearson's product-moment and Bivariate correlation analysis test. The result shows that F count = 8.621 < F table = 3.28, a significant value of 0.001 < a significant level of 0.05, and the R-squared value was 0.336 which means that there is a significant correlation between the variables of parental support, motivation, and self-confidence of athletes at the Flam Aquatic Kediri swimming club. It correlates with 33.6%. It can be concluded that this research hypothesis, "There is a correlation between parental support, motivation, and self-confidence of athletes at Flam Aquatic Kediri swimming club”, is accepted. The higher the level of parental support and motivation given to the athletes, the higher their confidence in swimming will be.
