This research aims to evaluate the impact of Information Technology (IT) on Modern Accounting Systems. The research background reflects a shift in the traditional accounting paradigm towards the increasingly rampant application of information technology. The research method used is literature analysis and case studies. Research findings reveal that IT implementation in modern accounting systems not only increases the efficiency and accuracy of data processing, but also makes a significant contribution to strategic decision making and risk management. The implications of this research include the need to develop IT competencies for accounting professionals, as well as the importance of information security policies in managing financial data. Thus, this research provides insight into the crucial role of IT in the transformation of modern accounting systems and highlights important aspects that need to be considered in facing technological developments in the accounting field.    

Teachers as facilitators are required to be able to operate technology. In this modern era, there are many applications that teachers can use in classroom learning. The Quizizz application is an application that is very easy to understand to help teachers present and evaluate lesson material. Observation results show that the majority of junior high school teachers in Bireun Regency have never used the Quizizz application in learning. The methods used in training include lecture, question and answer and demonstration methods. The results of the implementation show an increase in teacher understanding in operating the Quizizz application.  

Community empowerment is a crucial effort in improving the well-being and environmental sustainability, especially in the Rw 02 Gunungsari area. In the current modern era, waste management and environmental conservation have become central issues faced by the community. Therefore, creative and innovative steps are needed tot address these problems. The surabaya city goverment, particularly the environmental agency, has initiated the MBKM KZW (Zero Waste Village) program involving the entire community of Rw 02 Gunungsari and students from the 17 August 1945 University of Surabaya in an effort to reduce waste and preserve the environment. One approach to achieve this is through education and training on the creation of a wick hydroponick system using recycled materials duet o limited space. The goal of this education and trainning is to enhance the community’s knowledge of the latest agricultural technology and reduce waste by utilizing recycled materials to create a self-sufficient and sustainable environment.

The assessment of computer literacy reveals varying competencies, urging the need for a tailored curriculum. While basics like office software and digital navigation are strong, disparities in data analysis proficiency call for targeted interventions. The implications highlight the necessity for a stratified curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive skill set in line with modern maritime demands. Cadets overwhelmingly endorse technology's role in enhancing education, signalling a paradigm shift. Positive attitudes towards online resources, digital simulations, and e-learning platforms advocate for an institutional embrace of cutting-edge tools. Recommendations focus on faculty development and increased technology integration, promising an enriched pedagogical landscape. The exploration of sociocultural influences uncovers a delicate balance between tradition and the necessity of English proficiency. Nuanced strategies are essential to integrate diverse cultural backgrounds. Recommendations call for cultural awareness initiatives and language support programs, aligning the institution with the global orientation of maritime education. In qualitative insights, cadets express a collective desire for a more intentional curriculum, particularly in incorporating cultural perspectives. This aligns with the broader scholarly discourse advocating for holistic education. Proposed avenues include workshops, seminars, and collaborations with cultural experts, providing a roadmap for curriculum development congruent with the diverse needs of Semester 1 cadets. This research, rooted in rigorous academic inquiry, serves as a guide for the Maritime Institute, steering its trajectory towards producing technologically adept professionals who are equally culturally astute, ready to navigate the complex global maritime landscape.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a crucial element in modern life, encompassing the management, manipulation, and transfer of information across media platforms. UPTD Teknologi Komunikasi dan Informasi Pendidikan is a Structurally Integrated Service Unit under the East Kalimantan Provincial Education Office. UPTD plays a strategic role in providing technology-related services in the field of education. However, UPTD faces challenges in the inefficient and slow management of employee data, with 28 employees whose personnel data remains unoptimized. To enhance efficiency, the author plans to develop a web-based personnel information system. The problem statement includes inadequate system support, resulting in slow employee search and report generation processes. The objective of this system is to design an efficient, precise, and accurate personnel data management system, aiming to improve work productivity within UPTD Teknologi Komunikasi dan Informasi Pendidikan. The outcome of this initiative is the design of a website serving as an information portal for UPTD profile, developed using the Content Management System (CMS) WordPress.

Learning can be viewed as a system with various components, including objectives, learning media, class organization, evaluation, and follow-up. Learning can also be seen as a process that involves preparation, implementation, and follow-up of learning. The learning approach during the time of the Prophet and classical ulama involved religious, aqliyah and ilmiyah, morals and physical education. Reading is also key in the early stages of learning to understand and increase students' understanding and self-confidence. Apart from that, education in the era of globalization and industrial revolution 4.0 faces complex challenges. The concept of "Free Learning Education" is an effort to create human resources who are able to face global changes and challenges with the ability to innovate and openness. Education needs to be designed to address the complex challenges of the future.  

Technology that continues to develop becomes a medium of access to see the outside world. Young people as the backbone of the future began to follow the flow of the times and technology. The presence of a lot of content on social media makes young people start consuming foreign cultures, this cannot be separated from the influence of globalization, a reality that has real consequences on how people and institutions around the world run. Social media has become the main channel that facilitates the transfer of Western values such as the concepts of individualism, consumerism, and views related to freedom of expression. Nowadays young people tend to forget local culture as an inherent identity and follow the flow of westernization which is considered more modern and more advanced than local culture which is considered traditional and ancient, this tendency is because young people follow more prestige in the development of the times without thinking about the consequences it causes.

The method in this research is library research using book literature, journals and other electronic records. Technology in this digital era is developing very rapidly, but there are challenges and opportunities in this digital era, namely the high level of competition among business opportunities entrepreneurs. The younger generation now has more opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial skills thanks to digital technology.

White collar crime is increasingly prevalent in various corporate sectors and causes significant financial losses and damage to public trust. This type of crime includes embezzlement of funds, manipulation of financial statements, bribery, insider trading in the capital market, and theft of customer personal data. Although it occurs a lot, the prevention of white collar crime is still not optimal and the perpetrators are rarely prosecuted properly. This paper aims to analyze the various determinants that influence the occurrence of white collar crime in order to formulate policy recommendations and prevention strategies in the future. A systematic approach is used by applying the fraud triangle theory which focuses on the three main elements that cause fraud, namely pressure, opportunity and rationalization. The results of the study show that pressure to meet high performance targets and large bonuses often encourage individuals to commit fraud. Meanwhile, weak supervision and lack of transparency create opportunities for fraud. Perpetrators also often justify their actions, for example by assuming that they will not be caught or the value of the loss is small. The complexity of modern corporate operations also increases opportunities for white-collar crime. Effective prevention efforts must be comprehensive by involving various parties and strengthening a number of aspects as controls. The role of internal and external supervisors (auditors) of companies needs to be continuously improved, supported by modem fraud detection technology tools. Whistleblowing mechanisms need to be strengthened in every company and kept confidential to encourage early reporting of fraud indications.

With the increasing era of globalization today, competition in the industrial sector is becoming increasingly fierce and competitive. With the development of modern technology for the better but on the other hand raises problems for the environment. Every business actor who wants to win the competition must pay full attention to the quality of the products or services produced, at a low cost, the right time and quantity, and safe conditions. This study aims to analyze and reduce waste of packaging waste at PT XYZ, a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of medicines and vaccines. In the last 7 months, there were 1,906 pcs of defective packaging out of a total of 204,940 pcs used. The defects were caused by mold, misprinted information, faded colors, and lack of glue on the packaging. The methods used in this research are Pareto diagram and fishbone diagram. Pareto diagrams are used to identify dominant product defects, while fishbone diagrams are used to identify the causes of defects. It is expected that the results of this research can help PT XYZ reduce packaging waste and improve the quality of their products. By reducing packaging waste, PT XYZ can also contribute to reducing negative impacts on the environment.

Utilizing a qualitative approach, this study investigates the experiences of Aviva Hanum Siregar, Rahayu, and Safran, students in the PGMI program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education Sciences, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. The findings highlight the diverse challenges encountered in adopting technology in lesson planning, such as technological barriers, resistance to change, and the need for continuous professional development. On the flip side, the study sheds light on the promising opportunities that arise from incorporating technology into teaching strategies. The authors discuss the potential for enhanced student engagement, personalized learning experiences, and the development of 21st-century skills. This research uses descriptive research type. The type of data taken is quantitative data. Sources of data in this study using primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation, interviews and literature studies. The system development method used in this research is the Water Fall Method, and the System Design Auxiliary Tool.

This article discusses the role of catechesis and family dynamics in dealing with the complex dynamics of the contemporary era characterized by social change, technological advances, and moral crises. Social change poses new challenges in family structures and norms, requiring catechesis to align its guidelines with modern family realities. Meanwhile, technological progress requires the adaptation of catechesis to take advantage of new media without losing the essence of spiritual values. The moral crisis engulfing society reinforces the need for catechesis that can provide relevant ethical guidance. Family dynamics, as the basis of religious education, take center stage in understanding how catechesis can support the formation of character and moral values in the family environment. Collaboration between church and family was identified as a key element in ensuring holistic and effective religious education. Through this article, it is hoped that a deeper understanding of how catechesis can respond to changing times and remain relevant in forming the foundations of faith and morals in the contemporary family.

To overcome this problem, an information system was developed using the PHP and HTML programming languages ​​and MYSQL DATABASE. The research methodology used in this research uses data collection methods. The conclusions are expected to help simplify the management of market services, such as managing traders, processing kiosks and losses, and processing fee data and reports, it is also hoped that it can reduce the risk of damage.

This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. This research aims to reveal the front and back stages of students receiving KIPK scholarships. The results show dramaturgical practices where some Kipk students act as incapable individuals on the front stage but live hedonistic lives on the back stage. Ironically, modernization intended to make scholarship registration easier actually carries the risk of manipulation and hedonistic behavior among students.

This research discusses the importance of developing effective contextual catechesis methods for prospective catechist students, especially in facing modern challenges involving social change, technology and contemporary moral issues. The focus of the research is to understand the integration of these aspects into religious teaching approaches to prepare students to apply religious values ​​in their daily lives. Spiritual challenges in the modern world, including clericalism and restrictions on the scope of catechists, require innovative and adaptive responses in learning and preaching approaches. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach through literature study to investigate relevant literature. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a theoretical and practical basis for religious educators, enabling prospective catechist students to integrate religious teachings with the context of their lives. Thus, this research contributes to developing catechesis methods that are responsive to changing times, preparing the younger generation to face spiritual challenges wisely in the ever-changing modern era.
